Always helpful staff. The inventory is pretty diverse and large considering. The staff always greets me and asks if I need help, then helps me cheerfully as long as I need them. Valu Home is always my first choice for home project supplies.

Was at the valu home center in meadville pa. A few days ago.saw a dog locked up in a car.we informed the employees of the dog locked up in car (it was hot outside).the store did not take any action. Bottom line the store could care less about a dog locked in a hot car.I have been a long time customer of valu home,that was used to be customer.I will never step foot into a valu home center again,and I can not wait until all the valu home centers are shut down.I will shop at the homedepot up the road.

The prices are reasonable and the staff actually comes up to you and asks if you need any help. They also have really great sales. The store is very clean and well stocked.

Always meet u at door and take you directly to what u need. Never any pressure to buy. They are the best.

I got what I needed but the lady that was in charge tonight wouldnt honor Saturdays sale today which is Thursday despite the fact that I spent $700. The sale would have saved me 20%, she was just all around rude and to her employees especially. Ill go elsewhere next time I need to spend a large sum of money.

Very kind staff. It is a hardware store it is clean. Employees are very helpful I went in to buy a hose clamp and wandered around for a while and then finally I was pointed in the right direction.

I really like this place... They have everything.

I buy my hardware and materials at Valu Home Center whenever I can to support local business. They dont carry as many of the big name brands (Stanley, Bosch, etc) as the Home Depot down the road, but their prices are usually competitive and sometimes better. I find their service more responsive to customer needs than the bigger chains. They have more small-town feel.

The Sales Man Todd was a SUPER BIG help yesterday, helping me in selecting a drill and explaing the difference between the what size in different screws. I learned a lot just talking to him.

The only hardware store in town, other than Home Depot. I wish they were downtown, that is Value Home Center. Theyre great, with a wide selection, good prices, helpful friendly knowledgeable staff. Id shop here more often if they were downtown. I hate going into Vernon Township for trips. 1, its far away, 2 theres so many buildings downtown that are empty, and plenty, more than needed (in my opinion) parking spaces. Meadville, & Crawford county would be a lot better off if theyd concentrate as much as they can in downtown Meadville, instead of building out further and further on Conneaut Lake Road. Its ridiculous. Theyve gone so far out of town, theres no public transportation. Lol. Whats that say? Especially when theres so, so, so much empty in-between.

The so called Manager LES...was very rude..boardlined called me a thief! all over a $2.79 plus tax $2.96 scrapper that I didnt have the receipt n it was still in THEIR bag!!!! when i got home 27miles away..here sits the receipt..i called there VERY ANRGY and UPSET...NOT over the money BUT HOW I WAS TREATED!! NOW BEING TALKED TO....I USE TO DO A LOT OF BUSINESS THERE BUT WONT EVER AGAIN!NOW I CANT PUBLISH UNLESS I CHOSE A STAR GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
