300 miles from home just me & my puppy. We made a quick stop for a stretch 🐾 & my car wouldn’t start without warning. It was difficult to get any assistance as repair shops were booked weeks out. When I called Rogue Automotive and spoke with David, he was kind & although they had no openings for service, he was considerate to have someone from his busy crew assess my troubles & get me on my way. Thankfully 😅 it was something minor & that’s what they did! I’m so thankful for their help & excellent service. These are good peeps that I would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a 5-star experience with Rogue Automotive. We were passing through Medford on our way to California when all of the sudden our check engine light came on and our car started shaking! Luckily Rogue was amazing enough to take us in spontaneously and have the problem fixed in about 2 1/2 hours! Great service, great people, and they even left us a bag of candy in our car...#respect

I had a real estate client who was visiting from out of town. Their jeep was having issues and I called for them first thing in the morning. Rogue Automotive was friendly on the phone then got them in for a same day appointment. I cant tell you how much I appreciate that. It was valuable for my clients and rogue automotive made me look good in the process. Ill definitely be recommending them in the future.

Comunication is not their strong point, and it started feeling really sketchy. Made an appointment for diagnostics, and did a night drop for our vehicle. By closing the next day, they still had not contacted us, so I called 5 minutes before closing and they acted annoyed that I called. They said they needed more diagnostic time, so the next day which was a Friday they did the same thing. I called again at nearly closing and they said they would check with the mechanic and let me know. An hour after closing on Friday thry called and left me a voicemail saying oh, well, sorry we missed you. I hope you didnt need your car this weekend, we are closing up shop and leaving until Monday.We opted not to have them work on our vehicle based on this experience.

Good detail job done on a sixteen year old vehicle.

We have been customers of Amy and Buddy for three years now. We have had personal vehicles and business vehicles serviced and detailed at Rogue Automotive. Today I experienced the worst customer service I have ever had from a business. There is no excuse that Dave should be employed in any area that involves customer service. Since I called him over a week ago he acted as if he was doing me a favor by taking my business. He even told me today that they were busy enough they dont care.We were scheduled to bring in three vehicles one a day for three days. Each vehicle was to get detailed, oil change and A/C check. We did the exact same thing last year around this same time. Last year It worked out great. The vans were very clean and Shawn who no longer works there would come out and walk me around each van to make sure it looked good when I picked them up. This time there was just a simple key exchange and I was sent on my way. Upon inspection of the first van when I picked it up I noticed the outside looked about the same as when I dropped it off. I went back in and asked if it would save them time and me money if they just did the inside. I was told they had to do both. I didnt stress it. Instead I drove the freshly detailed van through the car wash. The second van I picked up was even worse. As shown in the pictures the windshield was filthy inside and out, the dash looked like it had been wiped with a dirty cloth, the driver side door had dirt in the door handle and the outside had a number of missed spots. Amy asked if I was going to leave the third van as scheduled and I said I could if they would get it done today. Since it was a Friday we could not afford to leave it over the weekend. She said no problem they would call when It was ready to be picked up. Dave called around 4pm and said the van was ready to be picked up and that they dont have time to change the oil. I was surprised to hear that and assumed it was because they were closing soon. He said they would be open for another couple of hours but recommended I take it else where to get the oil changed. This made me worried that something was wrong. When I asked if there was an issue with the van he got very defensive and upset. I was busy at the time so I told him I would be in to pick up the van as soon as possible. When we arrived the van was sitting outside the shop so I told one of our employees he could grab the van and get back to work. I went inside to pay and talk to Buddy and Amy about my disappointment in their service. While standing inside to pay I watched Buddy run out and yell at my employee for getting in my van. He made him get out of the van and parked it back where it was. They then made us sit there for 20 minutes before they would move it 15 feet turn it off and handed the keys over. My employee was then able to take the van and go back to work. I still had to sit there for another 15 minutes while they got my paperwork ready even though I was told it was ready two hours before. I calmly paid when I finally got the chance and I asked to speak to Buddy or Amy. Dave asked me to come outside where he explained to me that Buddy did not want to talk to me because I had accused him of doing something to my van. Dave was referring to when I asked if there was something wrong with the van when they said they didnt change the oil and recommended I take it elsewhere. I explained that as a business owner I would prefer to share my experience with Buddy then have to leave a review. He then accused me of blackmail. I did not understand his thinking since I had already paid and just wanted to share my experience with the owner. Dave then told me to get out of here he also said that he would make sure he would not use our business. Well Dave I will not lose sleep over that.When you cant handle a simple detail and oil change it is probably time to look for a new line of work.

They were fantastic with everything having the car break down was so stressful and they were so patient with every time I called to check on the car and then when it was ready waited almost an hour after closing for me to come get the car I appreciate you guys so much!!

This place was absolutely fantastic. By far the best experience I’ve had at an auto shop. Dave and the entire team were great to work with. They explained to us exactly what was wrong with our truck, gave us great advice, and made the repairs as inexpensive as possible. They didn’t try to push anything onto us that we didn’t need and worked quickly to get us back on the road. 10/10, would recommend to anyone and everyone!

I called for an estimate to get a two barrel carburetor rebuilt for my 4-cylinder Toyota 22R. I can buy a brand new one for $300. When they finally got back to me 2 weeks later he told me it would cost $650. 😳 Totally ridiculous. I feel sorry for anybody that falls for their scam. If I could give a negative star I would give it a negative five.

They did a great job! Brought my car in for an engine cleaning and didnt hear anything for a few hours so I decided to call in. Turns out the gentleman who was supposed to do the cleaning was evacuated due to the recent fires and when I replied saying I needed to come pick up my own car in case I got evacuated myself the gentleman said hed get my car into the closest parking spot and be there to meet me with my keys. He just made everything happen so smoothly. Called in two days later for an appointment for my engine cleaning and they said they could see me right away!

I have never received such thorough auto service in my life. David was absolutely phenomenal to work with. So incredibly kind, honest and extremely diligent. My only disappointment is that I don’t live closer so unfortunately I won’t be able to come back in the future. I don’t understand how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars, I would give 500 if I could 👍🏼

I was very pleased with the service I received and the professionalism displayed. Most impressive was how fast they had my truck repaired and on the road again. I was in an out all in the same day and was not a simple project. I am a wildland firefighter so time was of the essence to me and Rouge Automotive came through with flying colors. I will for sure be a repeat customer.

My son recently had work done on his truck. He had to take it back after they worked on it and was told they would not fix the leak. He was told you cant prove we caused it. He will not ever take another vehicle there. So if you want a business to honor the warranty they give you this isnt the place. This was within a week of them working on the truck.

They have been brutally honest with me anytime I have brought any of my rigs in. They do great, fast, honest work.

I went to pick up my friends car. First, the sign offers a ride home, obviously just for show, they knew I had to walk home. The car, had a fuse problem, which they did not fix, I had to bring it right back, and they accused me of removing fuses. I will add, I found no responses, to complaints, a clear sign they dont care. This, is so common now another place, not to support, a local business!!Also, no place to park, I am more then willing to help, by not going back!

If your car brakes down in the region - they can take care of it. Down even bother going to service points at the big car dealerships. Unfortunately they received a bad replacement part but thats not their fault. Car is working again, thanks a lot!

They offer excellent service and professional knowledge. They wont lie to you or low ball a price to get you to commit. Prices are fair for the work they do; they will also tell you when something will either need (or not need) to be fixed. Theyve maintained my Ford(s), Subaru(s), and Volkswagen(s) for 12 years now, and, so far, Ive never had a car fail for mechanical/electrical issues on the road. (Tires, yes, but that wasnt their fault.)

Greedy crooks. $180 per hour and Cant do the job right the 1st 2nd or 3rd time they charge way too much. Guy who answers the phone is a real piece of work.Just an fyi, look at the website of the person who was taken advantage of by these guys.I almost feel bad for Wrights. He lost a lot because of these guys.

We were given an estimate with the understanding that one more part had yet to be priced. They spent days evaluating each item and their new estimate was nearly 3 times the original estimate (which was almost $1000) and way out of our budget. They had already spent more than the original estimate on minor items so we had to forgo repair of two critical items. Half the expense was for evaluations. I was not happy. The staff was very nice however.

POSITIVE: This is a wonderful outfit that does great work. They are fast, friendly, and courteous. They even gave me a chocolate bar as a thank-you gift.NEGATIVE: Gadzooks, the prices are high! They charge big bucks for everything, even LOOKING at your car!

I brought my truck in to get my rotors checked (brakes are fine), power steering pump replaced, and water pump replaced. They charged over 3 times the price on the water pump and they never used all the new parts that came with it. Old parts were still on truck. They changed and charged me for a clutch fan. Not what I requested, nor did they ask prior to doing the work. When I picked up my truck the paperwork said I had a dirty air filter. That is complete BS because I had installed a brand new one the day before I took my truck in. They also said my tires were cupped and caused my brakes to chatter. My tires just needed some air. They never worked on the things that I brought my truck into them for. They made excuses not to take care of these things my truck needed. They did nothing with the power steering pump. Said my Radiator Cap was bad, yet it is fine. Be careful those of you who know nothing about auto mechanics. They gave me a bunch of baloney stories, after the fact, and I still need my work done. I now have to go somewhere else to take care of it, minus the money I had to spend with them on things I didn’t need or were not done right. I’ve always done my own work, but am no longer able. Was hoping for a great new mechanic that I could trust. They were completely not what I had hoped. Very disappointing.

Pick it up after found issues were authorized to he worked on but did not seem to have time. Called 3 times to get est on price and time. Just run arounds. Bought all parts needed had friend fix $110 for diagnostics. Also could not fully evaluate due to obd reader unresponsive they couldnt take 2 minutes to find if fuse or chip.. Bought all parts needed from orilies for $250

These guys have been great!We broke down while traveling from San Diego to Seattle and they took good care of us and got us back on the road very quickly for the amount of work that needed to be done.

Very happy and satisfied with Rogue Automotive. They are so friendly and helpful. Gave me an estimate and stuck to it. They were able to replace my transmission with a warrantied used one and saved me more than $2000 based on the quote I got from my dealership. I highly recommend them for any auto needs!!

This place and mechanics are the best in Medford. Whenever you find mechanics that go out of the way for you, and know what their doing hold on to them. And on special occasions bring something nice for everyone.

I went to rouge automotive and the completely ripped me off by not giving me the proper service I deserve. Even though the employees seem nice, you don’t know what goes on in the back. I called the day before thanksgiving to get a price quote for a clutch replacement and was told that Someone would be calling me in the next day or so and never received a callback.

While traveling from southern CA to Seattle, my daughter and I were involved in an accident in southern CA. The car made it to Medford, where it developed a coolant leak. Rogue Automotive went out of its way to fix the issue the SAME MORNING I brought the car in. We were on a tight time frame and had to get to our destination to catch a flight. Rogue Automotive saved us from major expenses and hassles. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!! They even left a package of Skittles in the car AND sent a thank you note a little time later. A rare place in this day and age... go there, you wont be disappointed!!!!

This place is why mechanics get a bad rap for the most part. They lied about the time and cost it would take to fix my vehicle. Cost and time was about 4 times more than estimated and there was no hang ups or any reason of why it was soo much longer and cost so much more. I shouldve known once I saw they had a buy here pay here dealership. Theyre always sharks and con artists

Rogue Automotive is in my opinion Great!They took care of what was needed, worked out transportation issues with me and my dog max, (max goes where I go) They fixed what they said they would in a timely manner, and the people are friendly and attentive.My best recommendation is they kept their word with a hand shake. You dont find that anymore. I may have been a certain circumstance, however, they kept their word! I like that.

I love Rogue Automotive. They do a great job servicing my car, and they are so friendly and helpful. I have to drive some distance to bring my car to this shop, but they have earned my loyalty and my business.

Went to them for a diagnostics, which cost about $130. The problem they diagnosed my car with was not the problem. They said it was a cracked or blown head gasket and the engine block. My car was not exhibiting symptoms of a bad engine block (black smoke). Turns out it was a fuel injector which my father diagnosed on his own based on driving it and the symptoms I was describing to him. I will not go here again. My father fixed the fuel injector and my car is running fine. The staff there are nice, by the way. Mostly, I think they just want your money.

I had my transmission repaired and they forgot to put the main bracket back on that attaches to the transmission to the axle also they didn’t plug back in a wire connector to my transmission filter. Then when I called to find out why and get it repaired after I found out the bracket was missing they denied everything and told me to have the place that found the problem to fix it. I will never go to rogue automotive ever again. They do not double check there work nor handle themselves in a professional manner.

Place was great! I’ve heard good things about them before but now after having to use them I won’t go anywhere else for electrical issues with my truck!

One of the highest quality independent auto repair shops in the valley

As a result of service my car received at Rogue Automotive my car now needs a complete new transmission. Literally. I brought my car in for a transmission flush on the advice of the dudes at the oil change place. Turns out my make and model does not even REQUIRE transmission flushes, it couldve done with a transmission service (changing the filters & the fluids). A flush is much more expensive than a service. If your transmission gets flushed when it is not necessary it can cause valves to fail....and that is exactly what happened to me. Either because of their ignorance or greed I now have an intensely expensive repair. They essentially destroyed my car. Less disturbing, but also bad business, is that on that visit I also requested (and was charged for) an oil change. When my car started leaking fluid & I took it somewhere else (where I found out about the transmission) they showed me the oil....it was old & hadnt been changed in a long time.I also took my truck there to have the AC fixed & 2 back windows replaced. This took 3 weeks. I kid you not. The windows came broken from the junkyard twice in a row. Guys, you cant BS a BS-er. Additionally, the AC doesnt work. It didnt work when I came to pick it up. I gave it few days just to see & then brought it back for them to fix it for real. They told me there was nothing wrong with it & refilled it with fluid. Worked when I drove it off the lot that time, but quit again 2 days later. Theyre going to reply to this review & say bring it back & well fix it for free.....uh, if you couldnt fix it the first 2 times why would I bring it back to you again?!Also, you guys owe me a new transmission. If you want to reach out to me Ill let you know where you can send the check to cover that.In short, Sean & Jessica deserve huge raises- I used Rogue Automotive because they were so friendly. I really, really, really (new transmission really) wish I hadnt! Please dont make the same mistake I did. The people behind the scenes are either ignorant, greedy, lazy or all 3. Is there a chance they knew flushing my transmission could lead to me needing a new transmission (which they hoped I buy from them)? Ill never know for sure.

They have extensive knowledge of all vehicles and the skills to go along with it. their highly trained automotive mechanical technicians have extensive knowledge of all vehicles, old and new. I know because I have a 1965 Chevy Truck that needed a thorough going over and replacement of many original parts. David walked me through the entire process, letting me know what it needed and the cost of the repair or replacement before going ahead and doing anything to it. They knew where to get new parts or repair the old ones. Ray was the genius in being able to put it all together again. He is fantastic. My truck purrs and I am a very happy girl! I just finished my first service with Rogue Automotive and they were awesome. Super convenient! And to top it all off, they left a bag of skittles in my car when I picked it up.

Took my car in on a monday. Picked it up after calling them twice that day. They could not tell me anything yet. They said they would call me the next day by noon. At 530 pm no call i went down there and the lady up from still had no info on my car she went to the back 20 min later came out with some papers. Wrote up some orders and said she will call me back to come down and have my car repaired. Its friday now and they still have not bothered with me. I think they suck.

Went there for a noise on my front left side and shaking over a certain speed. They ignored all of what I said. I was told by paying them to put it on the rack that they would guarantee that the issue would be fixed. Lies!!! So I had them fix my car and its now worse. Then I go back to get their work double checked and the head machanic or owner totally unprofessional told me that he didnt have to tell me everything that is wrong when they put it on the rack and raised his voice. My suggestion to everyone go anywhere else drive to California if you have to.

Our pickup brakes froze up and caught fire in the wheel well so we had to tow it to the shop. I called my insurance and put in a claim since it caught fire. Working with Dave and Amy (and even the friendly voice when we called) was awesome. They worked with my adjuster sent photos to him and did an outstanding job on making the repairs. I have what feels like a brand new truck! Thank you! Thank you!!

Best auto shop in town

I went here because i friend told me they are good but the reality they are thifts. First they charge almost 100 dollars for a diagnostic some places charge 25 and auto parts by the mall they do it for free. I told them that i need a catalytic the Guy called 2 days later and told me that it cost almost 1000 dollars just for the parts so i told him NO. I went to auto parts and i ordered for $307. I wont recoment this place at all.

Wow! What horrible customer service. I called for a price check on a part and they refused to give me a price check over the phone. They said I needed to drive my broken car down there or walk across town and give them my vin number in person to provide a price check and then the lady hung up on me. Do not go here!

I would give zero stars. They fixed my manifold less than 2 years ago and now it’s cracked again. $1100 later I need to pay another $1000. That was the second exhaust leak they fixed.
