Absolutely horrible customer service. Called Apple to coordinate an appointment for my apple watch, called the location ahead of time to ensure a friend could do the drop off for me and I was told yes. When she arrived to drop off the item, they were rude and told hee was not allowed. She left, I called back since I had already arranged the situation and they told me to have her come back in and drop it off. She then arrived back and they told her they needed me there to do paperwork, etc. I called them once again to figure out what was going on. The man on the phone was extremely rude, cutting me off midsentence, acting like he didn’t know the situation and then spoke on behalf of my friend coming in a few moments later. Save your time and go to Best Buy for your needs. This store does not understand customer service or communication whatsoever. I’d rather drive four hours to apple in Portland then deal with them again.
Very professional and helpful. I especially appreciate the care they took to protect us from Covid-19. Thank you
The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining to someone like me who is new to computers. A pleasure to visit!
Amazing!!! So, my Macbook Pro died unexpectedly on a Saturday evening while I was using it for work... I was devastated... I had heard lots of adds for them being Certified Apple Resellers and thought, this is probably where I need to go (even though Im in GP).. So, I was there first thing on Sunday when they opened (Super Grateful for their abbreviated hours on Sunday, or I wouldnt have been able to get there until the following Wednesday..) They did the intake, and said they usually had about a 72 hour turn around on diagnostics.... They beat that tremendously and had me info Monday morning... I weighed my options and decided it was time to upgrade since the price difference wasnt bad... Best news, they had a great selection on hand of expanded Macbook Pros.. not just the most basic or stock options, which I kinda expected... The next question, Do I want them to transfer the data from my old mac to my new one?? I was unsure if it would be worth the price as I had no idea exactly how the info would transfer... Well, it was DEFINITELY worth it... Literally turned it on and it was identical to my previous mac.. I mean, it was like I had just opened my mac up and nothing had changed... Even my Safari was open with my same tabs, logged in to my accounts... I didnt miss a step.. So worth it! Overall a great experience! Knowledgeable staff who was very professional, helpful, friendly and not overly pushy or anything... worlds above going to any box store.. Prices were the same as the Apple.com, and since most built up Macs have longer wait times, this was definitely the way to go since they had a great selection! Ive said a lot but feel like I cant say enough.. I use this for work, and Im so happy to have resolved this so quickly.. Thank you so much!
Great service, made appointment through apple care and they were ready, seemed to be training a new employee but the service was still very good.
Connecting Point has improved a lot over the years. Now it is a great computer store. Their service prices are very competitive and they were quick and timely in upgrading my iMac. I would highly recommend their services.
Very rude. I called to ask a couple of questions and the guy there hung up phone in the middle of our conversation. He seemed very bothered and I was being polite.
5 stars for James Von Krohn today! He came to our home and solved all our tech problems. James is very professional and patient. Connecting Point is fortunate to have an employee of this caliber. Thank you very much.
I just had my 8 year-old iMacs hard drive replaced, it is working so much faster Im sorry I didnt do this sooner.
Justin Morehouse, in the service department is EXCELLENT! Recently, my PC had a catastrophic failure, and Justin had to wipe the hard drive clean, re-install all the software, and restore from my backup. It was quite a process, but throughout, Justin was very good about keeping me informed of his progress. When it was done, he answered all my questions in a very clear and understandable way, which is a real plus for a technical person. He was also very nice and fun to work with. Im really happy with my experience. Thanks, Justin!
James is awesome! My husband went into the store for coaching and tutoring on his computer today. Not only did James solve all of his computer frustrations but also came out to our home to install a new WiFi to fix the internet issues. He has taken the fear and hassle away from using our devices. THIS is freedom! We are so thankful.
I recently had to do major upgrades to my Mac computers, and these raised a number of issues, and brought my work to a halt. James Von Krohn, in the service department, came out to my house and spent several hours fixing problems and explaining what I needed to know to get my computers, and therefore my office, working again. James is an excellent communicator, as well has being highly proficient technically. He was also very patient and pleasant to work with. James has my very highest recommendation.
I went in to check if my computer had a recall/repair order on it. The guy who greeted me was incredibly nice, sanitized my computer and lead me to the service desk. Where the situation went sour is here. The technician was rude, and behaving like we were wasting his time with questions. When he said there was no order on my product he slides my computer back to me which scratches the top. I call this out and say hey man is there a rag or something I can use to get these scratches out? He says no, those must have been there before. This table is clean it doesnt scratch. I know for a fact that my computer did not have those scratches on it. I take care of my computer. We then left to the front where another nice employee helped us get rid of the scratches. I appreciate the employees who went above and beyond to help us, but the technician soured my experience of this place. I will never spend money here
Super helpful and nice employees! I’ll definitely be back the next time I need service.
I wish I didn’t even have to give this place 1 star, the service is HORRIBLE! The people up front were nice enough to point me to the back (and as I’ve seen others complain about, this is where it gets bad). I brought in my phone due to the bottom speaker not working (I’m aware not both spots on the bottom of my iPhone are not speakers, but neither one worked) I showed them how I can cover up the top speaker and then the music or YouTube video goes silent, the guy checking it in even said “oh yeah that looks like a hardware issue, Apple usually just sends a new phone for something like this” just to be told a few days later that they’re Apple diagnostics couldn’t find anything wrong and that my not working speaker was totally normal and if I wanted any more help I’d have to drive 2 hours to my nearest Apple store where I’d actually get any amount of help. The guy telling me my phone is working as I’m sitting in front of him with my phone not working, I even got him to the point to where he said “yeah I get it’s still not working but our audio diagnostics came back good so that’s where we stop”BIGGEST waste of time in my life. Glad I went with out my phone for days because they don’t have any loaner phones and want to charge $50 for a rental phone. I hope this places closes down as fast as it opened up. I sincerely hope no one goes and gets toyed around with these high schoolers like I did.
My professional gaming PC had crashed needed reinstallation of windows 10 James was able to help me with my problem and get it back to me ASAP thank you James for all your help and I really appreciate the hard work that you do
Like many others have stated, Connecting Point is NOT a good substitute for an Apple Store. Ive had two experiences with Connecting Point that illustrates my point.A few years back, I needed repairs on my Mac laptop, so I took it to Connecting Point (since I had AppleCare). These guys had my computer for a week before they informed me that they would need to send it to Apple - something I could have done myself and saved a week of lost work. Most recently, I ordered a new MacBook Pro through Connecting Point on December 1, 2020. The sales guy told me it would be in by December 24th, and probably a few days earlier than that. I was excited. But after absolutely ZERO communication from Connecting Point, I called a few days them AFTER Christmas, and was informed that a) the MacBook Pro was delayed in China, and b) that the sales guy never told me that it would be there by Xmas. Now, I understand that its not CPs fault that Apple has delayed delivery on their new laptops. But I will comment that Connecting Points customer service is beyond woeful. They never returned my email inquiring as to the latest news on delivery from Apple; they NEVER contacted me once unless I contacted them first; they charged my credit card, which is fine, but upon my CANCELLATION of the order, they stated that it would be thirty days before my refund arrives, which means Im paying interest on something I never received. This is just based upon my two experiences with Connecting Point. Your mileage may vary!
Im super happy to have gone into this store hassle free and the team helped me find an inexpansive vintage monitor cable that fixed my display issues. Super happy! Will comeback when its time to upgrade.
I went in because I had a problem downloading Photoshop on my MacBook and Seth was very helpful. He solved my downloading problem and explained to me what it was and how he remedied it. He was courteous and provided excellent service.
Hello, I was in your store today, and I feel compelled to let you know that Derrick and Logan were the most pleasant and helpful service techs Ive come across in a very long time. Derrick went above and beyond in helping me with my iPhone 7 Plus. He is knowledgeable, courteous, thorough, and didnt mind explaining everything to me. I will recommend your store to anyone that needs iPhone repair. Thank you!
Do not ever go here. Over priced and incompetent staff. Sold me a used Mac as new. This place is a scam.
I went in to have my phone fixed expecting that it would take a while and cost a lot. I also expected to have to stand my ground to get the warranty to be honored. To my surprise and delight Seth was able to identify the problem, fix it in minutes, and made sure that I didnt pay more than I had to. I will be taking all of my phones here from now on and hoping I get Seth every time!
My MacBook Pro needed a new battery and I went to Connecting Point to have it replaced. I explained that my laptop is my work computer so I needed a quick turnaround on the replacement. CP did the work for me the same day which I really appreciated. They even cleaned my computer case and screen and now its just like new. They were very helpful and the service was great. Thank you Jason!
After purchasing a brand new Iphone through my cell service provider and receiving it via mail, I was unable to enable the phone. I called my cellular provider and they were unable to get it working. They sent a new Sim card and told me to call them prior to installation. I received it, called them and when they said it was finally enabled, it might have been on their end, just not on mine. I could receive incoming calls but not send outgoing texts or calls. I then took the phone into my carrier and they were unable to get it working and suggested I call Connecting Point since they work with Apple products. I called Connecting Point, who I have used successfully in the past, and a gentleman named Simon explained what a couple of the issues could be and to come in as a walk-in. I followed through at home with one of his suggestions and then brought my phone in to the store where Nolan began working with it. It took a couple of times but he was able to get it enabled, however the entire download was estimated as a 3 hour process. Nolan advised me as to what to do when I got home, I did, and now my new phone is working perfectly. In addition to that, Nolan took care of an issue I had on my computer. I am extremely pleased with Connecting Point.
Good customer service. Very clean and organized.
Fantastic service. If you’re looking for custom computer builds or any parts to add to your existing build they’re great. Thanks for installing my RTX 2070!
I had a great experience here! My computer crashed during finals week and I brought it into the service department at Connecting Point. They were able to fix the problem in just two days and I didnt lose any of my data! Very friendly and helpful staff. They explained everything that went wrong and how it could be prevented in the future. Store is very nice inside and the prices are very reasonable for the services offered.
For a person who is not computer literate, I am so thankful for Connecting Point. John is always friendly and patient with my issues and has an incredible way of explaining things. I would recommend Connection Point to everyone who needs assistance great or small. Thanks John!
Nolan the most knowledgeable, polite technician. Nolan’s expertise has guided us to technological Understanding and Bliss! Thank you Connecting Point for having wise employees.
Without exception, I have found the service at Connecting Point to be some of the best Ive ever experienced. As a tech layman, issues with my computer can often times be overwhelming. Over and over again, Ive found the staff to been more than patient with helping me with my questions. I generally seek out John Gs service. Hes always been inviting and made me feel comfortable with coming into the store to have my questions answered first hand. More importantly, Ive found him to be very knowledgable and competent when helping me resolve my issues. Overall, I couldnt recommend connecting point more for all your product and service needs!
Ive been a customer of Connecting Point for many years. Their staff are experts on the products they offer, and their customer service is the best. They also have a service department to help with any issues that may come up with your electronic devices. If you are a mac/Apple person, this is definitely the place for you - Apple products are their specialty.Shop local, shop at Connecting Points computers!
Heres a great big shout out to Connecting Points John Glassy. Thanks John for your patient and expert advice and problem solving! Not just today, but over the past several years. Because of your great service, I wouldnt go anywhere else. Ive purchased all of my devices from Connecting Point, including some gifts as well, and couldnt be happier.
Let me first say I have been going to Connecting Point for years. Always nice and respectful. I, like many others, believed they were the only company able to fix Apple products in the valley correctly. WRONG. They tried to charge me $349 To repair my cracked iPhone screen, because they said the glass broke through to the back screen. They began to tall me if I went elsewhere my thumbprint wouldn’t work anymore. I am technologically impaired, but I did find out one thing. The glass and back screen ARE ONE PIECE and at a local shop cost me $100 for an original replacement Apple screen. And guess what? Thumbprint works. Imagine that! Wow, miracles do happen! You do need to take into consideration your warranty, so what I have to say for that is to go to Apple directly. Connecting Point ships it off to them to get fixed anyway, so save yourself the middleman. They also charged me $50 to reset my password because my software update locked me out, and no matter what YouTube video I watched helped. Took them a few minutes. They look out for number 1.They are based off commissions, so the more they can get from you the more they pocket.Long story short, if you have Apple products either find someone local or go Apple direct, at least you will find someone that knows what they are talking about.
I am officially boycotting this business. I have spent hundreds of dollars here for no reason. I came in about a software issue one time, had the receipt for my product and asked if it was needed to which they said “not necessary” but that there would be a diagnostic fee of $30. Couple weeks later when I returned they informed me no progress was made because they needed the receipt. To top it off when I furnished the receipt at that point they promptly informed me that nothing could be done because the purchase wasn’t made directly from Apple. That is literally why I asked if they needed the receipt weeks earlier and before paying them for nothing ultimately. Gets better though, like a fool we returned to the establishment months later (because they monopolize the apple market for 150 miles any direction) to have our NEW MacBook Pro looked at regarding a possible recall on the hard drive that we purchased from THEM only a year prior. Within just a few days we receive a call saying the Mother Board is toast and it would be $550 roughly to fix. When I asked how this could have happened or if there was any evidence as to what caused the problem he said he had no idea and there was nothing more he could tell me. A completely unexplainable $500 dollar repair on a product originally purchased in the same room. I don’t like to talk s*** and I’m a reasonably understanding and tolerant person, I’m aware that sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but I also know there’s plenty of people that will take you for all you have. CONNECTING POINT = CROOKSI’ll pass the word to the Better Business BureauP.S.- After my original post I decided to do some due diligence here and noticed a lot of the good reviews are perfect “5/5 They’re AMAZING” and yet have no profile pictures. Not to mention each one is the ONLY review ever written by the account in most of the instances. No room to talk here, having no notable review history or picture up either. Still, might be something worth keeping in mind. 🧐Last little bit- It seems that I cannot get a second opinion from Apple themselves since now my MacBook Pro is registered in their system as having been “Looked at” by this retailer and deemed as whatever they labeled it as. I let this business have the final say on something crucial in life and they have really worked me. I go to SOU and now have NO IDEA what I’m going to do this upcoming school year, especially with it being my Senior year. Apologies for the slight rant at the end there. On that note, Good day.
Very good customer service, very prompt, they explain things to you, they arent bored at their job, they enjoy being in the technology industry. I highly recommend them, also awesome prices and employees!
Do not buy from these guys, they cannot be trusted, you are much better off buying online. I bought a brand “new” Mac Book out of the box (it was supposedly new) but when I got home and opened it, it had a scratch on the case.I brought it back the very next day with a receipt, expecting to exchange it for what I paid for - a new, undamaged notebook. They refused, offering to send it in to get me a refurbished one instead(which I assume it was, since it was damaged.) I had it one day and never used it.Then 6 months later, the “new” laptop stopped working. It doesn’t even power up. I have been had. These guys are completely shady.
Thank you everyone at Connecting Point for always being there to help me keep my business going. Your backup service is the best in town and the level of expertise you all have is amazing. Your personalized service has kept my business running smoothly for years now! And you always make sure I am up and running as quickly as possible when things go wrong. I do not know what I would do without you all! PS. Love Love Love my Apple Mac!
Stopped into Connecting Point the other day to get my iPhone serviced. Employees were very professional and friendly. They serviced my phone quickly and for a great price. Antonio did a great job helping me out.
Nice place. Very affordable!
Needed to ask one question, Mac support directed me to call one of there official retailers repair shop. Gave me this number and one in California. Called these guys and they refused to give and tech support over the phone. Guy Said there not Mac... So then called California number and like it was just taking the next breath to find the answer. Sincerely, Thanks Expert tech supporters..I’m wandering if I should call Mac and let them know there not a full service retailer.. ehh I’m not much for complaining just would like to keep things friendly and simple..
Had a house call from Ryan Maudlin to address a set up issue with my airport time capsule. Just wanted to note that he did a fantastic job of fixing my issue as well as answering my many questions. I would definitely give his performance a five star rating. He was polite and efficient and definitely exceeded my expectations.
I have used Connecting Point for several years, without any complaints. I always know that any problems I have will be resolved by the super employees who work there. I especially revere JAMES who has set up and worked on my system. He is professional, respectful and doesnt talk or explain things over my tech level. I have faith and trust in this shop.
I buy all of my computer products from Connecting Point for the reason that the people who work there have been there forever. Unlike other places that have kids that come and go. They do not sell junk and they are straight shooters. I always come here first. If they have what I am searching for they get my business. But, sometimes they do not have what I need. It is not a big box store.
After purchasing for my family 2 desktops, 2 laptops, a laser print, a scanner, iHome, iPod, iPad, Flip, etc over the years from Connecting Point in Medford, I thought I should share this is a great store. Scott has always been honest with me serving our needs even if it means I spend less. I can honestly say our family loves Scotts helpfulness over the years. Because of his advice, our family has prospered.
This place is great! The staff are very informative and helpful, and the quality of service is beyond comparable!
I took my phone down to Connecting Point for my iPhone. There was a battery recall on the iPhone 6S recently and my phone was affected. I brought my phone into service and they quickly got me checked in and in line to have my battery replaced. They called me back later in the afternoon with news that my phone was done! I was very satisfied with the efficiency of the service as my phone is very important to me. The store atmosphere was very nice and Seth at the service counter was very helpful! Additionally, he helped me with a few questions I had on my Macbook Pro while he was checking me in. Great store!
After making an appointment to have my iPhone battery changed I found out that they do this on a first come first serve basis. So making an appointment through Apple’s website will not help you. I called that morning to check if I brought the phone in earlier if that would help but at that time they told me it would not make any difference (not true). I also called and verified how long it would take in which they originally told me 2 1/2 to 3 hours and then when I went in they told me it would be six hours. On top of that they charge an additional fee for installation. Extra $30. I highly recommend that you just go to a (real) Apple retail store.
Truly amazing. I do not understand why this company could have any low ratings. I brought in my computer that i just recently purchased and Seth Coy walked me through the setup process of my brand new computer. This is my first pc and i will happily admit that i will continue to come to connecting point. The service was great, the atmosphere was great, definitely a great experience.
I recently purchased a new Mac laptop at Connecting Point and the experience was wonderful from start to finish. John Glassy, the salesman, was very patient and spent as much time with me as I felt I needed to make my selection. As part of the purchase the store installed new software for me, and John spent time afterwards answering all my questions and showing me how to do certain features. I will certainly patronize again.
It is a locally owned business. They have a great selection of computers, tablets, printers, etc. The employees are knowledgeable and helpful. The repair shop is fast, efficient, and truthful. I am a longtime customer.
I have purchased products and have had service done at Connecting Point for several years. The staff is always knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. I really appreciate having a locally owned and operated computer store to work with. I would recommend Connecting Point to anyone looking to buy a computer, accessories or in need of service.
Congratulations to Simon Barnes, computer expert extraordinaire at the Medford Connecting Point store, for FINALLY getting my Rosetta Stone program to operate! His calm resolve and determined tenacity to make the program succeed, even after several failed attempts with the Rosetta Stone Support Team themselves to discover the cause, was remarkable. Simons work ethic to fully satisfy this customer was greatly appreciated and valued!
Thank Scott and Les for their superb patience and expert advice and extended aid to an older lady with a overseas charity to run, who has computer needs but also has huge gaps in her knowledge. Thank you both hugely for helping considerable to smooth out my life!!
Asked to install a new ssd in my imac and it was done within a few hours.
They told me my computer was completely broken from water damage. After talking with a competitor they told me I could use isopropyl alcohol and get the corrosion off. Sure enough, my computer is now fixed and connecting point told me repairs would cost $1500 and data recovery would be $240. I fixed my computer for $25 in tools, rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs. Do your own research and dont take what they say here at face value.
My iMac hard drive died on me after 10 years of daily use. After contacting Apple directly and working with them to try and find and solve the problem without success Apple made an appointment with Connecting Points. They determined that the hard drive couldnt be fixed. They recommended replacing it with an SSD drive which I did. With that installed I called Apple for help recovering all my lost data. There were complications and that is when they referred me to Connecting Points. Even though Connecting Points had not caused the problem, Antonio, one of there techs fixed it and even took some time to show me how to recover more date from my external drive.
Very fast service and extremely friendly! Seth was a great help!
You know everyone has something to say, and my experience as an Apple Consultant here in the valley has been a positive one when working with Connecting Point. When I call ahead to ask their sales team to put products aside for me they do and its ready and waiting for when I get there. When I call the Service department when I need their assistance on a hardware warranty repair, Jason and his team are always there to help answer questions, debug issues over the phone and provide a solution in a quick and timely manner. I use Connecting Point as a local resource for me and my customers and they do a good job providing us products and services. It would be a serious loss if there were not here helping us all! Keep up the good work team Connecting Point!
The service was terrible. I was told I would pay $400 for a simple repair. When I brought the machine in, they charged me $30 to do a diagnostic which was not necessary as the problem was obviously a broken screen. Then they bumped the price $300 more and hour after we dropped it off. When came back to pick it up, the manager accused me of lying. Nope. Cyber Center from now on. They replaced the screen for $400 no hassle.
My wifes MacBook Pro went catatonic last week. They took it on Saturday and it was repaired a day ahead of their prognosis. On pickup, I was planning to buy a piece of backup equipment and they guided me to an alternate, and more robust, option, even though it was considerably less expensive. They were wonderful.
The level of customer service that I received from Simon Barnes was excellent. I would strongly recommend anyone having an issue with their computer or some kind of computer related question drop by Connecting Point and talk to Simon. You will be happy you did.Loyal Customer Kyle T of Medford,OR
Les is MORE! Took our Macbook Pro in for a problem with our iOS update and got prompt, professional service with very clear and helpful assistance from Les, the service tech. We then asked about swapping out the spinning drive for a new solid state drive and doubling the RAM, all with the purpose of getting a few more years of life out of the machine, and Les also took care of that in short order. Very satisfied in all respects.
John Glassy was very helpful during a recent scam. Took time to explain how to handle. Thank you, John.
I bought my macbook pro here and my parents have bought all apple computers and accessories through them as well. They always do a great job fixing issues and are always very welcoming, patient and kind.
Horrible Service!!!! I went there to have the battery replaced on my iPhone and when I dropped it off I mentioned that I had replaced the screen previously. They told me to come back in 4 hours to pick it up. I asked them to call me when it was done rather than to wait the whole time because I live 30 miles away and I would be waiting at the library. The service manager refused to call me because they were too busy to call me when it was finished. When I got there to pick it up they told me because I had replaced the screen that they were not able to change the battery due to apple warranty issues. So I had to wait 4 hours when I told the service manager in the beginning that I had replaced the screen myself. IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Love this place. Great employees!!!. Great MACs
Connecting point computer center is the place to go for computer help! Great people, Great service and great products! Thank you connecting point for your loyal help the last 10+ years!!! Jason and Jeff are awesome!
Great place and great service.. Ive been dealing with Scott for many years and he is awesome... Its a great company that are good to their customers....
Customer service is great. Knowledgeable staff. Avi is a great PC tech. Recommend anyone with Apple or PC Devices to go here!
I have purchased 3 computers at connecting point and each time John has been outstanding. I was in today to find out details of the trade in program and to get some help with iMovie. Once again, he was helpful, professional, and friendly. I would not buy my Apple anywhere else.
Just saw an ad for Connecting Point in the latest Coffee News! Love this place! Been buying Apple products from them for years, bought my first Mac there! Glad to see they are still at it, great local place to shop!
Nolan fixed my Safari, as it would not connect to internet service. He (repaired) my little MacBook within twenty minutes at the counter. It is a relief to not be without my pc for 3-5 days. And I didnt have to pay for the Diagnostic Test this time.Connecting Point, where I bought both my MacBook and my MacBookPro, has always come through whenever either pc has a hiccup.See you next time my pcs need repair!Thomas Wood
Very unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE. I would have been better off taking my computer to a frozen yogurt stand. Absolutely incompetent staff. Never ask them to reinstall Java... like seriously you will be lucky if they understand what it is!
Seth in Service was very helpful. It turned out he could fix my problem without leaving the computerwhich was WONDERFUL since I love 90 miles away! Thanks for having such great help!
Took our tablet into the store with the thought of leaving it to be serviced because of constant Windows shut down. Drayke talked to us and figured out the problem while we stood there. He made sure we were comfortable with the new configuration he had to install, then told us it was fixed. We left the store with the tablet and not owing a thing. We havent had a problem with the tablet since and will definitely be back.
Dont buy here! Theses guys are a joke when it comes to fulfilling Apple Care requests!- To simply replace the charger I bought from them they require having my laptop and charger for roughly a business week! This is now the 5th VERY poor encounter with these guys.. go somewhere els.- I have filed multiple complaints with Apple for the poor service here and even damage done to my computer as a result of their work.I cannot recommend these guys.
Ryan did a super job above and beyond the standard instillation. He is very personable and professional in his approach to his work and accomplished same with considerable skill. Thank you very much. Robert Schlichter
Ashamed to say after 13 years of being a return customer vouching for them and sending our friends and colleagues their way we will no longer put our business with them.Went in to buy am ipad pro picked out the one we wanted they told us to talk about it and ensure its what we wanted went to a quick lunch came back 25 min later to pay for our selected item ( as they said they would hold it till days end) and they regretfully sold it.Beyond dissapointed when you pay the additional cost for the customer serviace aspect of the sale and there is no customer service. Sadly loyalty dose not mean anything to this company Ill save myself the headache and cost and order my products from apple directly or amazon.
I used this place because they are suppose to be a certified apple repair store. The closest Apple Store to me is hours away so this was the next best option to get a speedy repair, well that was not done and it put me without a system for almost 2 weeks.
I went in to have my laptop worked on at cyber center and the prices were outrageous, my son told me about connecting point and said his needs had been met and exceeded at connecting point they were great friendly and fixed my laptop for half the price of any other shop in the valley thank you again for saving me in a time of need i will recommend you always.
I came in to Connecting Point because microsoft office stopped working on my Mac. Les was very helpful, not only in fixing the microsoft issue but also in providing advice about storage of files, etc. that will help my computer be more organized and run more efficiently. It was well worth the trip and time. Les talked in terms that I could understand and shared the process along the way. Connecting Point (John) was also helpful throughout the previous week trying through email to help me correct the issue myself before bringing it in. I would recommend Connecting Point and will also purchase my next computer here.
Billy Dillard and Ben Hoover in the service department were amazing. We had an issue with our MacBook Pro regarding Parallels. We run a small business in the area and they realized we had a large meeting the next day and needed the laptop right away, they let me know they would look and see if it was an easy fix they could do right away. They did want me that if it was more in depth I would need to check it in and it could possibly be 3 to 5 business days. Which I liked that they tried at first and did let me know that it may be something that could take longer and they work on a first come first serve basis. In the end they were able to fix the problem in roughly 20 minutes or so. Thank you so much for your up-front way of business and also offering to at least see if you could resolve the issue quickly. So so happy with the service, and also when we purchased all of our equipment it was easy and care free. We purchased 3 Macs all together plus printers, and other equipment and Steve was also great to work with. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Thanks,Jessica & David Funderburk
Today I went to Connecting Point for technical assistance with myMAC and my IPad. As has happened in the past, I was provided with incredible help and information regarding a program, OneDrive. I am grateful for the help that was given to me by two employees, Kean and Simon, who provided the professional help and service Ive come to expect from Connecting Point in Medford. Thank you.
Great service. Very knowledgeable. Ask for John for all your new Apple purchases.
Had a great technician at the house today - Ryan Maudlin. Not only did he fix what was needed, but explained everything to me. If I have any problems in the future, I definitely want him to service my computers! Thank you, Ryan!
It is a TRUE pleasure to have been taken care of by Scott Farmer!! His kind help was over the top. I was not making a purchase at the time and he gave me uninterrupted assistance untangling a problem without concern of time taken or if purchase was being made.THAT is Real Service. Great Store to Boot.Everyone in the store is generous in their help and courtesy and smiles. Thanks Jason Kellogg, too!Jayne BrownNational NLP Trainer
They dont fix your iPhone screen here, they mail it in to Apple, the same exact option you can do on your own. When I contacted connecting point they told me they would fix my screen not that they would mail it in. Very disappointed! This information should be disclosed up front.
Attentive and speedy service - the flavor of the day! The new location is FAR superior to the old site, the sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful.
Connecting Point has been great! From business to personal, their staff has been so helpful with every need or concern that I may have. Thank you so very much!
Honest guys that are patient and will explain things so that anyone could come away knowing just what happened and how to not do it again.
I went to CP to buy either an ipad or update my computer. I had a general idea what I wanted. Scott was excellent in listening and he gave me good suggestions and comparisons of products. He made the task easier for me to make a wise decision. Its great to find someone working in a store who is thoroughly familiar with the products and able to explain them clearly.
A great experience from knowledgeable staff.
Very Bad Service. The salesperson was chewing gum and had no interest what so ever to even talk to me in a manner that one would expect even though I said i wanted to buy the computer. Very intimidating and only talked about the extended warranty. After 31 days do you know anyone who can repair it for you, if you dont take warranty? Got the wrong computer and was not even willing to hand it to me as I wanted to check the specs. charged the wrong one, thats when I said to myself, I had it with this guy. Connecting Point will be out of business just like circuit city. If you get a cold service like this then its better buy online.
Just had my computer to tuned up there and they did a great job very fast now
The worst customer service I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. I intend to follow this up with a letter to Apple Corporation describing how I was mishandled and verbally abused at Connecting Point.
When I dropped off my laptop computer for a crimped connection between the screen and the keyboard they said it would be about 3 days. After 5 days they had not looked at it. After another 3 days they said they were ordering a cable that would take 3-5 days and they would call me. I asked them about theur original time estimate and they said it was on average 3 days to diagnose then however long to fix. Its been 2 weeks and Ive heard nothing. Ridiculous.
Much easier to access than Best Buy or Walmart talk to a person and not have to hold on phone. they have a good inventory and theyre very knowledgeable staff definitely recommend this place!
Thieves, Charged twice what new memory to fill to capacity would have cost, filled with miss matched low capacity used memory stolen from other computers. They talk like they know about PCs but they are here to make a sale, not to be helpful. They like to sell old versions of software here. Way over-priced, bad ethics.
I went to Connecting Point in Medford, Oregon with my mom and brother today. I was having some problems with my ipad. Simon Barnes helped me figure everything out. The whole process took about two hours. When my mom asked how much we needed to pay for his help, he said not to worry about it. He was very kind and smart. Thanks Simon!
Took care of us quickly. They fixed the I Phone for Baba Bhagavan Das :)
