The doctors and technicians were fine. They were polite, thorough and pretty straight forward in their manner. The same cannot be said of the staff.Like a lot of people we are financially strained. Twice we tried to get the billing information before the appointment explaining we needed to prepare for this if it was going to be in excess of our normal co-pay. Twice after the appointment we tried to square this away. Then we receive a bill for $250...not our normal copay. We called a fifth time. We were told theyd look into it and get back with us. They did...with a bill in the mail for $365 due upon receipt.Payment arrangements have been made, but we feel like weve been taken. All we wanted was to know what was coming before hand. Instead, we were put off and blind sided. We wont be going back.
Everyone at this office is professional, knowledgeable, and competent. Eric Fladmo took extra time with us to find the cause of my dizziness & deafness and really made a positive difference with both issues. Its so refreshing to find a doctor who really cares about his patients like Eric and also has the expertise to do something to help them. I highly recommend Eric.
Great experience, the staff are wonderful. My doctor figured out what was going on health wise . He took his time listened and made a diagnosis. I would recommend this place of business to anyone. Thank you for the great care.
I had a good check-in and my husband and I was empresed.
Very professional atmosphere. The staff is very nice and stays on schedule. The Doctors listen about your issues and then recommend treatment.
They were quick to see me and took the greatest care during the worst ear infection of my life. I lost my hearing temporarily and they worked around my schedule to get me seen every time. Also the best care. They talked to me and gave me choices instead of just telling me what was going to be done. Would definitely recommend.
Friendly, efficient and helpful office staff; competent and empathic medical professionals. Wonderful experience.
Very unfriendly front office staff. Somewhat patient friendly middle office staff. Doctor, reasonably patient oriented. Maybe things will improve with upcoming visits.
I arrived at the ER very ill with an enlarged throat, unable to swallow without a great deal of pain. The ER called in Dr. Traynor (after hours) to aspirate a cyst I had in my thyroid duct (news to me!). He explained everything as he was conducting the ultrasound, lidocaine and aspiration. He biopsed the fluid, showed it to me and immediately put me on double antibiotics and steroids, opining I had a staph infection. He was absolutely correct. He also discussed with me perhaps needing surgery post-infection. The office followed up with a post-discharge appointment and Im headed there next week. He gave me EXCELLENT care, calmed my nerves and was very thorough. I am very grateful. Thank You :)
Knowledgeable and friendly staff made my 6 year old at ease. Thank you to a great team!
Ive been going to this practice for more than 20 years and have always found excellent medical care.
Very educational. They helped me and my daughter to know everything it is about us!
Truly a great practice that is so knowledgeable! All the Drs are amazing and caring, there is no comparison.
Dr. Jon Lee was very professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent physician. I would highly recommend him. However, the hearing specialist who performed my hearing test prior to my appointment with Dr. Lee did not say one word to me about any hearing loss. (I believed that I was having some trouble hearing, but the technician did not make any comment about the results of the hearing test.) I did not see the diagnosis and results until I received the insurance claim from my insurance company in an email over 3 weeks after my appointment with ENT.I cannot understand why the hearing specialist who tested me did not say anything about me having impaired hearing or the possibility that hearing aids might help me to hear better. After the hearing test he took me to the exam room to wait for Dr. Lee.No one has ever contacted me from So. OR. ENT about the fact that I have some hearing loss and I am very disappointed that they did not follow through with this information.
Everyone was kind courteous and explained things so you could understand
I broke my nose in a random incident with my 3 year old. I called Oregon ENT and they were able to get me in quickly to have it looked at. Dr Chambers was on time, pleasant, and gave me sound options for treatment that was individualized to my past medical history. For a specialist office that has a long wait list I was pleasantly surprised to not be treated as “just another patient”. I would not hesitate to return to this office for anything else!
My first visit. Greeted promptly. Efficient front desk staff. Professional nursing staff. Expert surgical doc. Communication between Doctor and nurse was efficient and clear. Evaluation was explained simply and well. Follow-up with testing was scheduled and completed as it had been described. I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Lee. He took time to ask questions and listened to answers. I appreciated the care taken.
Appreciated getting an appointment in a timely manner. Felt well cared for and safe. Covid protocols felt adequate.Dr Reek is personable, calm and very competent. Only reason I went with 4 rather than 5 stars is that he mentioned ear wax but failed to tell me what to do about it. Guess I could call and ask!
The staff is kind, thorough, and quite helpful. The appointment went smoothly, and I had minimal additional wait times between each part of my time here.
Dr. Clarke and his assistant Carrie are absolutely amazing. They make you feel right at home. Best ENT in Medford.
Oregon ear nose and throat center was very professional with me my appointment was on time the staff was great The doctor explained everything to me in detailed ways I could understand. I will recommend Oregon ear nose and throat center to anybody who needs this service.👍
Went to see Dr. Lee, a very personable and caring physician who listens and welcomes questions. The support staff has been well-groomed to be friendly, engaging and efficient. Since this was not my first visit, as I left I made a point to compliment two front end staffers about their friendly attitudes.
Husband was there to get his hearing aid repaired. We were there before ourscheduled appt, and we were in and out in about 10 minutes.
Im going for allergy shots weekly and the allergy nurse Maggie, she is great.
Caring staff, scheduled me quickly to correct my problem and restore my quality of life. Thank you Dr. Lee!!
Dr. Joseph Clarke is very caring and kind, as is his Medical Assistant. Dr. Clarke takes his time to answer questions and explain things thoroughly!
I have been using ORENT, Dr. J Reek for a number of years, he helped me through a bought of cancer, and everything worked out GREAT, A very professional, personable staff, I recommend Doctor J and his crew without reservation. Tom
I am very pleased with the attention and care provided by Dr. Chambers and his staff. Thank you,
My visit with Oregon Ear, Nose pP& Throat Center was pleasant and low-key. They discussed the results of my hearing test with me.I have advanced hearing loss, and on my previous visit the technician discussed specific recommendations for my problem. He gave me hope that you had a product that would really help me. I could not afford to get the product at that time, but began to save toward that end.I expected a similar experiencee, this time. However, I was told that I need to have a separate appointment to discuss hearing aids. I was told the helpful technician was no longer at the Center, and that you no longer carry that brand hearing aid. They promised to contact me, but at this piont I still havent heard from them. Im disappointed. Thats the reason for the 4-star rating.
I highly recommend Dr. Traynor. He was very knowledgeable and spent a remarkable amount of time diagnosing and explaining my condition. He made me feel at ease and answered all my questions.
I recently visited the Providence Emergency Room for an infected right ear. The infection was in the outer ear but accompanied with severe pain in my head. I was given morphine and other pain killing drugs and referred to Dr. Traynor. When I met with Dr. Traynor, he went over my records, asked a number of questions and concluded a different medicine, which he prescribed, might help to eliminate the pain. It did over time and the loss of hearing in my right ear seems to be returning.I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Traynor to a friend or someone with an ear problem. He demonstrates a sincere concern for the patient and the knowledge and experience to solve his or her problem.
Dr. Steele is a highly skilled, caring, down-to-earth surgeon. Went to her based on the assessments of prior patients; not disappointed; quite impressed. Office staff extremely competent, caring, and friendly. Good communication.
They have great service friendly staff Nice people altogether🙂
Staff is polite wait time is good fast too
Awaiting results of a scheduled MRI on brain to assess any hearing or auditory symptoms. Fine visit . Scheduled promptly - good follow through.
Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, good at their jobs. Wait time is the most difficult time, which might have to do with COVID changes.
The staff was professional and pleasant. I met with Dr. Chambers and found him to be a good listener and communicator, kind and has a relaxing energy. If you have anxiety about having to see a doctor, I would highly recommend him.
I am very impressed. Everything runs smoothly; the staff is as professional as Ive ever seen.
Dr. Steele is fantastic! The staff that you deal with on the phone are not as helpful. I went to get a Covid test to get a needed surgery and they commented that Oregon Ear Nose and Throat is known for not sending faxes. I needed paperwork faxed up to OHSU and they had a week and a half and it still never made it up there.
Doctor Lee and his staff were excellent. Dr. Lee was very good at explaining the procedure and answered all of my questions. The surgery at Asante could not have gone better from start to finish and everyone was very kind and caring.
I have the fortune to have used the services of Dr. Elizabeth Steele for about 28 years, on and off, for myself and 3 of my children. She is the BEST!!! The whole staff is friendly and helpful and kind. Youre lucky if you are able to use the services of these great medical providers.
Great customer service, great nursing staff, fantastic doctors… All in all a wonderful experience
Nice facility, friendly staff. Wait was not bad at all. Really appreciated the doctors time and all the information, options available.
Great experience. Everything ran on schedule. Professional office to be sure.Doctor Reeck was very generous with his time. Thank you everybody.
Ill change my review rating once they figure out their scheduling.
Way over charged. Went in for a consult for snoring. They said my insurance wouldn’t cover to fix snoring issues that’s in my throat, but they could do surgery on my nose (that wouldn’t fix my problem) under insurance. I was charged 600$ which my insurance covered less than half. Absolutely will not go back.
This is a great place to go. They have literally saved my life twice already. The medical staff is professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. As a nurse myself, I know excellence when I see it. I wont go anywhere else! Thank you OENT! Keep up the good work!
Helped me alot. I would recommend to anyone. Very nice providers.
Office seems to be very efficiently run. I felt comfortable with Dr Chambers. The surgical units requirement for Covid testing & results within 3 days, complicated things; my county had no facility able to test & report results within 3 days so had to drive (4 hours round trip) to Medford 3 days prior to surgery. Then my second vaccine is scheduled for this afternoon, with surgery tomorrow. Not knowing fully how surgery would effect vaccine efficacy, surgery will be canceled if I experience any post vaccine symptoms. That means we’ll have to do it all over again; rescheduling of surgery, testing trip 3 days prior .... YIKES!
The staff was friendly and efficient. They do an excellent job of protecting everyone from covid infection, in my opinion.Dr. Lee seemed very knowledgeable and I found him easy to talk to, kind and gentle. If you need an ENT physician I would recommend Dr Lee.
The staff is knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They have helped my 89 year old father be able to hear again. This has changed his life and mine too! I also wear hearing aids and I am so happy with the product and the service I have received.
The staff was great. Doctor Traynor was amazing! Very caring, professional and took time to listen.
With experience of ENTs in two continents Ive found OENTC to be highly capable and well equipped. Dr Lee inspires confidence and is able to bring practicality into technical issues; a number of his suggestions have improved my day.
Dr Traynor is amazing. Explains everything in terms we could understand and took plenty of time to answer questions. Staff is knowledgeable and hospitable. Overall a great office and a great experience.
Very satisfied with the service. However, I only dealt with the audiologist & the PA; not with any of the doctors.
My sons doctor was amazing, his surgery went well and we were thankful for that, the only reason they get any stars. The front desk staff and billing department are a nightmare. They made an agreement to allow us to pay off our rather large bill within 30 days. We were in the middle of selling our home and it would be easy to pay it off at that point. I called them on day 30 to pay the bill, and they told us they had negated the payment plan and sent me to collections, and dismissed my son from care. I paid the entire collection that day, and tried to discuss with billing what the miscommunication was. And they would only say we dont go back on decisions to dismiss patients. Well this 4 yr old patient has already had one surgery with them...and he needs another. Now we have to wait to get sent to another ENT that is booked six months out. My poor little guy will be very sick until he gets this surgery...all over a simple miscommunication, and billing not making notes in my account after our in person, face to face conversation about our payment plan. Its so disappointing...on top of that when I was a patient they ordered me additional unnecessary testing and the doctor couldnt figure out why I was sent to do all the same tests twice a few months apart. So he had to convince billing to remove those charges that never should have happened on my account....and they didnt even remove them all. So if you go there, good luck with the financial piece....at least youll be in good hands with the doctors. Billing and the front desk need to get it together though. So much unnecessary suffering for my 4 year old.
Great people, friendly service.
I knew my nose was bad, but I also knew I was going to the best place I could for care.I saw Dr. Chambers, in my opinion, one of the best in his field. After my exam, he said that he thought I should see a specialist in Portland at OHSU. He said he could attempted it, but knew it would be extensive. I saw the specialist and will have to have cartilage made from my rib.I have such admiration and respect for OEN&TC! The staff is awesome and made me feel so comfortable.Thank you for giving me some hope for my nose!
Nothing has been done yet, still waiting to find out whats happening with me. Yet, this site continued to push for a review .The people were nice and friendly in the beginning. I spent very little time with the physician and I have learned nothing about my condition to date. It is now May 24th and I have not heard ANYTHING from this office. Today (May 24th 6:30 a.m.) I called the Labs (IN San Francisco, where they were forwarded) they sent me a letter last week (received may 13th) saying Robyn Pikes office had sent them labs to examine. The woman said, the ENT Office where I had my Biopsys done has HAD THE RESULTS for the last 13 days. The results were received by the ENT office on on MAY 10th. They have NOT said anything to ME! I have fussed and stressed for 29 days ( NTM worried my mother) about my biopsies. When I called the ENT office about them on the 7th of MAY and they said San Francisco has them and they (S.F labs) are slow. I trusted this office and waited for them to call after that. Today I find they have had the results for 13 DAYS! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. I have severe anxiety disorder and youve *!@#King sat on my lab results after I indicated I am stressed and want to know asap. VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL! They obviously do not care about me...the patient.I waited until 8:00 a.m. this morning and called the E.N.T. office she said they are still waiting for and answer from the lab. I told her I KNOW they have the results because I talked to the lab. Now, I am waiting for a call back...waiting.Three days later many phone calls. The office put me on hold (to not deal with me because of my persistence). When I called back they hung-up on me. I called multiple time to the labs tracking down my results. Thankfully they are benign. Now I would like to talk to the Dr. about all other test that were done, why did they not look at the spot I was concerned with in the first place, you ran other tests what were they, etc. The Dr. (now requested a call back 4 times since Monday this week) No phone returned call from Dr. When the office finally called and said they had the results they JUST came in. If this were true, how was it that I the patient could track down the lab reports and found the answer two days before they were available to you. If I can track them and find out the answer, why couldnt YOU have had a direct number to call the Lab and find out? Rude people, Uncaring Doctors (BOTH the Dr. Clark AND whomever was the on-call is in this office. I was also told the on-call Dr. will look at my results to the Labs they said they did not have and he would call me tomorrow, that was three days ago. NOTHING. I caught them (the office and the answering the phones, I have caught in a direct lie. They said I will let them know and have them call you. Today I said, yes, mam, she replied Ill have her call you today. I drove down there and their answer changed. Oh, Im sorry they will not be in until Wednesday. I would have waited by the phone for two days. UNACCEPTABLE! If they are not there until WED. THEN SAY SO! This happen twice. and TWO separate Labs told me they have had my results scanned into the computer system since the 11th of May. This office said they are unavailable, incomplete, the lab is slow. They said they did not have the results until the day they gave them to me on the 26th of May.I will go to an ENT out of town before EVER letting these ill-efficiency Office to help me ever again. This whole situation caused me a great deal of stress and anxiety and made me physically sick. Good Job, Oregon Ear, nose and throat office. of Royal Ave. in Medford Oregon, Way to care for you patients! P.S. When I posted this 3 weeks ago and immediate post came up the MA will look into this. I do not know whether she did or not because I never got a call from her. From May 24th-27th I called everyday for 4 days requesting a talk with the Dr. Clark who requested the tests. I have not heard from this clinic. ONE 5-10 min. phone call could have saved so much grief. Treat the WHOLE patient, not just their symptom!
Doctor Traynor took the time to explain what he was doing and what his plans were to make a diagnoses of my problem. I felt very comfortable with his treatment and his professionalism.
The so called manager is very rude. I dont recommend this place. I dont have the name but who ever is answering the phones today claiming to be a manager is beyond rude and doesnt want to hear anything youre saying.
I saw an ENT here due to a hoarse voice. It turned out to be cancer. I had to have a trache put in. Dr. Clarke has been by our sides every step of the way for the last two years and as part of my cancer team has helped get us through to a cancer free time in my familys life.
Dr. Clarke has gone above and beyond for me. Excellent bed side manner, definitely makes me feel like he has my best interests at heart.
Awesome doctor and staff..
Dr. Steele is so thorough and so caring. She takes plant of time to explain what’s going on with your body and I’ve never felt rushed by her.
The staff is competent but I really like Dr. Lee. I typically do not care for the bedside manner of most doctors but Dr. Lee is an exception.
OR ENT is a great organization. Excellent doctors and staff. I am always impressed with their professionalism and the care I receive.
Professional & personable. Requested & received a procedure without going through all the other steps a different ENT clinic required. One stop shopping !!!
The people here are so nice and patient. Best ENT place Ive been to and the only one Ill go to!
Everyone was very nice and helpful. The doctor was very nice and listen to me.
Thank you to all at SoENT! You were able to see me with just a few days notice, everyone was friendly and helpful, and Dr. Lee was wonderful and fixed my problem right then!
The staff is friendly, courteous and very efficient. The audiologist I dealt with was extremely helpful and knowledgable.
Doctor Traynor is the best ENT in the region. Saved my life, operated on me within days and accommodating my needs. I didn’t even have insurance at the time and took me in with no hesitation., very professional staff . My gratitude for this doctor and his office is above and beyond great. Thank you Doctor Traynor and everyone involved in my care. I will forever be grateful.
Dr. Traynor was incredibly knowledgeable, kind and supportive. I initially went for a second opinion and came out feeling confident that he will be the one to take over my care.
This Doctor is the most knowledgeable caring professional. He is taking my concerns and issues seriously.
Excellent experience and they are very thorough
We absolutely had a great experience at ENT office in medford. The staff is so friendly and compassionate. We had Dr. Anderson and she was Awesome. She helped my mom get her hearing aid. She was very professional and patient. Took her time to explain everything with my mom. Our family had previously used this office and we had nothing but great experience. We absolutely recommend this office for all you ENT needs. Thank you Dr. Anderson and Staff
Great staff- with my youngest they were wonderful. With my middle child not as much. Not awesome with children on the spectrum. Otherwise, no complaints.
It was a long wait in the waiting room, but it was worth it. Doctor Lee was terrific, took his time, and explained things very well to me.
Went there because I have some hearing loss in my right ear after being referred. Everyone has been really nice and easy to talk to. Was seen by Dr Lee and Dr Rice. Ultimately I need hearing aids and Dr Rice worked with me to try on some for the first time and gave me the information that I needed. I want to thank Dr Rice for all your help. Would definitely recommend going here.
Total satisfaction with Dr. Steele and her professional staff. Excellent diagnosis and treatment of my sinus ailment.
Excellant service.
Dr Chambers and his staff helped me breathe properly after decades of problems. They changed my life in a very good way.
Every single one of my experiences with this office has been horrendous. The front desk staff is utterly clueless and have are super disrespectful.I was humiliated in front of other patients at the desk about how much I owed (when, in fact, i owed nothing) The billing lady came out and had the nerve to demand that I at least pay the copay, (again, which I didnt owe) and then the office still billed me for an amount i didnt owe. They sent me to get what they told me were pre-op labs. When I got to the lab, they didnt have the order for the labs, and I was told I was getting a covid test (no big deal.) The lab employees spent an hour trying to figure out the order and the staff at Oregon ENT couldnt seem to figure out basic lab orders that they had told me already existed. When i called to complain about my waste of time, they said Oh, we knew you wouldnt need a covid test for an outpatient operation after all. They failed to mention that I had a referral to another specialist for three weeks after my test results came back, and after two days and a series of phone calls, it turns out they had only sent my face sheet to the provider and that I didnt have a referral. It took two more days to actually get a referral. They gave my daughters appointment away that we had been waiting a month for (without telling us.) The staff threatened me after I asked to see another provider instead, saying well, if you dont let me know within thirty minutes if youll take this [new] appointment, Ill give it to someone who deserves it more. They kept claiming it was an emergency when they had cancelled two weeks prior.I asked politely to speak to the manager on three separate occasions and didnt hear from her for over a week when I finally called and was able to get ahold of her. She was verbally and emotionally abusive for the extent the phone call and refused to listen to anything I was saying. She accused me of saying and doing things I hadnt, while denying anything her staff had done or said. She said I had a problem with the specific doctor (when I didnt even know who they were) and had denied multiple appointment slots that had been offered, when in reality, they offered me one slot which i had accepted right away (after giving away my daughters original appointment.) A staff member had even called to coordinate my daughters two appointments for the new day so theres no way i could have denied it. She then terminated my daughters care based on these false accusations (also, saying You wouldnt have like anything we did anyways) and then hung up on me.Theres more, but Im so mad that I can barely type. I dont even like calling this office. They just cant get their sh** together and they cant seem to understand what decent customer service is. Please dont waste your time or energy with this office! One star because 0 is not allowed.
Efficient and thorough
Nice people and good service.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I sent my hearing aides in to be checked and cleaned in the morning .By noon they called, my daughter picked them up and they were like new.I give it five stars.
Excellent service and care. I was made to keep so welcome and at ease. It made the hearing testing go so smoothly. Great job.
The ENT building sets to the back parking lot of Providence Hospital on Royal Ave. The girls that run the front desk are friendly and very helpful. Dr Elizabeth Steele is the ENT I see, shes personable and gets the job done in the time it takes. Thank you Dr Steele...youre awesome. See you in a year!
We love Dr TraynorHes awesome. I gave it 4 stars cause I have a referral to see him but they wont let me because some years back I saw one of the other doctors and I dont care for him. They said they have a policy that I have to go to the doctor that I already saw. If your not comfortable with a doctor then you shouldnt be forced to see them. I still havent heard from them or had my ER problem looked at. Sad!
Workers very helpful &, curious. They know their business. Never keep you waiting. Very professional. I would go back to them over & over.
Dr Clarke did an amazing transplant in my left ear, I can now hear and I am delighted. He was very kind, explained every step, and did one fabulous job. I cannot say enough about him, his office staff, my after care...all top of the line. Five stars all the way. Thank you Dr Clarke, you are the best. Regards, Nadine Hoy
Thanks for all the help!!
Great caring personel
First off the ladies who answer the phone know NOTHING about anything. All they do is answer calls and put you on hold for hours. I’ve called 5 times over the passed two weeks to try and speak to someone else for scheduling and it goes straight to voicemail. I’ve bin having severe tonsil pain for a month now and I’m supposed to wait 2-3 more months just to be seen by the doctor. I’d recommend saving your time and money and ask your primary doctor to be referred towards a different ENT, that’s what I’m doing....
Hard to rate this.. The doctors are amazing, the front desk staff, well thats another story. Im not even going to go into the full detail of trying to make an appointment when they had my referral. Finally after 2 weeks of them telling me I had to go through a 3 stage process of being approved, (for what Im not even sure its not like I need a job. Haha) Finally the lady made me an appointment. Wait times are terrible. Had to walk out an hour and a half past my appointment time and hadnt even left the waiting room yet. I had to pick my daughter up from school, then I had to reschedule. Yet another joke. If there was anywhere else to go I would. Again if you can handle the rude staff and wait times the doctors are great.
Great people, great experts, great repair service but terrible hearing aids. My first year they were in the shop about 9 times. Then they finally changed hearing aid model. They worked fine for about 1 1/2 years. Now they have started to act up and need replacement of receiver like the old pair. Also most recently they have both been shutting down several times a day and come back when I reboot. Not acceptable product!
They were friendly and professional. The doctor took his time to explain things to you. Then they CT Scaned my sinuses. They called me with the results and told me just what it would cost me after Medi Care. It was far outside of my very limited funds, but non the less very professional. Im sorry that I couldnt find out what was causing my issues, but medical costs being what they are I understand. They are very good at what they do and help you feel comfortable even though youre in a doctors office. LOL
Been here twice now. Always helpful and have been right on time with my appointment. I aprecieate that they do not waste my time.
