There is a lady that works there that I used to go to for my glasses but the last few times has been in a crabby mood. She was complaining about some new computer system the whole time and it was all just very unprofessional. She even asked me to contact the company and complain about her manager for no reason to get him in trouble because she doesn’t like working with him. I won’t shop at a place where people are complaining or want me to try to get someone in trouble for no reason.

Visited this Pearl Vision location for glasses and was quite pleased with the knowledge and assistance. As it turned out my prescription needed a bit tweaking once my new glasses arrived ..this was no problem for Pearl Vision, they corrected the issue (based on a new script from my Dr) and the turn around time for the new glasses was great! True to their word- it was no cost to me for the corrected glasses. Matthew was very professional. Ill definitely use this Pearl Vision location again.

Very thorough examination. I trust that Dr. Calhoun cares very much for my eyes and vision. Extremely knowledgeable. The staff provides excellent, friendly service.

The best place to ever get glasses. They are alway willing to help you find the right ones. Never let you just stand there with no help. My to go to person is Nancy. She has always been so nice and always available to help me.

I have been seeing Dr. Calhoun at Pearle Vision in Melbourne for over 4 years and have always had a great experience. He is very thorough, professional, and friendly with each visit. He and his staff are top-notch!

I was eating lunch at a local restaurant after which we were going to AMC for a movie. The lens popped out of my glasses which I had recently purchased at my optician in another city. I was worried that I wouldnt be able to enjoy the movie but the nice folks at Pearls Vision at the Avenue in Viera fixed me right up and didnt charge me anything. Excellent customer service!

Super professional and friendly staff. Solved all my vision problems wonderfully. And Dr. Kenneth Calhoun is a GENIUS. Best optometrist in Brevard County. My last glasses from a different place were terrible. Dr. Calhoun figured out the problem and these new glasses are perfect! I have never seen this well!

Eye DR is the nicest and professional. Staff is friendly and kind. Never had an issue making appointment or just coming in. The Avenue’s facility is clean & have a great selection of frames. My whole family has gone there for years.

Went in today to get a pair of frames to fit my lenses. The older lady didnt even look at the the frames, she just told him they didnt have any to fit. Very poor customer service.

Dr. Calhoun was the most patient optometrist I have ever seen! You can tell that he truly cares about what he does! I would highly recommend him.

This is my first positive experience ever with any eye doctor- thanks to Dr. Calhoun. Not only is he extremely professional and polite, but he is thorough and very keen to detail. He makes sure everything is as perfect as possible and to your liking. It is very clear that he enjoys his job and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and will return in the future.

My boyfriend was harassed into getting his eye dilated when he didn’t want to. The doctor was rude and got mad at him. She also made him get air blown into his eyes like a hundred times cause she claimed he kept blinking. Then she said she was going to give him some eye drop that would make his eyes feel funny and didn’t even tell him what the eye drops were for. Then she tried to tell him his vision was fine when he clearly cannot see. Don’t go here if you don’t want to be harassed

Dr. Calhoun spent hours with me working on my contact lens fitting and I must say the results are the best I have ever had for my complex multifocal lenses. Highly recommended.

I’d rather go blind than go here again. They’ll allow anyone to call in and change your child’s prescription over the phone.If you take your child there and order glasses, they’ll take 2-3 weeks to come in. But, once your glasses come in and before you can even get your child’s glasses checked, if someone else calls and says they’re related, Pearle Vision will order new prescription lenses for free based on the word of someone else’s prescription. They can even miraculously get the new lenses, which you never asked for or approved of, in stock in two days! They do all this without ever calling you, the paying customer who actually came into the store with your child and whom the on-site doctor actually examined, who that person calling is, whether you approve of Pearle Vision changing the prescription, or even letting you know after the fact it had been done.That’s a handy little money and time saving tip if you’re the unscrupulous type. But if you actually take your child in to be examined, are concerned about your child’s vision, her long term well being, and her Federally protected healthcare information, DO NOT GO HERE!!!I never will again.You’ve been warned

My visits are always pleasant and thorough. I highly recommend this office.

Do not go to this place. After 2 years my glasses frames started peeling and my lenses are marked up with spots, even after I paid extra for protective lenses. They would do nothing about it, so I am stuck with marked up lenses and rotten frames.
