Everything is great. Dr Greg Naberhaus is fantastic. He got me into some progressive lenses and changed my life. The optical staff is also amazing. Super friendly and helpful. They always provide top notch customer service.

As soon as you enter your greeted with a very friendly and professional staff.. The wait time was minimal and after several eye tests I was greeted by the Dr. and I had a very thorough explanation of my tests and also compared from my last visit.. A lot of information was covered and another appointment was made for a follow up visit. A very large selection of glasses were available to choose from.. The areas were clean and well stocked.. Looking forward to my next visit.. Keep up the good work.. ☺

My wife and I and our daughter are patients here and we all love it. Dr. Dimmick and Dr. Burns provide exceptional care. Even in a busy practice, they provide ample time. Dr. Dimmick is great with kids and adults. Dr. Burns makes you feel valuable and takes time to explain what is happening. The testing is thorough and Alex makes sure youre comfortable and fully informed on what is going on. The people in the office staff are courteous and capable. Crystal and Jeff in the optometry department were kind and efficient. I am so happy we are patients here.

Have been here a few times now between getting my prescription updated and because I somehow have managed to scratch my eye a few times since I started working in Palm Bay. Cant say enough good things about Dr. Naberhouse, Dr. Dimmick and the entire staff! Always super friendly and willing to go that extra mile to take care of their customers. Thanks to all of you for doing such a great job!!!

The Doctors and staff are great- the optical department is fine as long as you are making a purchase there at their highly inflated prices. I have a frame which I purchased lenses for at this location and they placed the lenses into the old frame. Now the frame broke and I supplied a replacement frame. They refused to do this unless I purchased new lenses from them. I was willing to pay for the service but they alerted not interested. Due to these policies- I will never use them again (30+ year patient of this location). Thankfully, Florida Eye Associates was willing and able to accommodate my request!Update: even though the facility responded to the review (a month ago) saying the office manager will contact me, there has been no attempt to contact as of yet…another shining example of the business practices.

Brevard Vision Care, South Brevard location.Senior citizen, been coming here for 5-6 years for routine checkups, and the occasional extended checkup (test peripheral vision, retinal scans, etc)In 2020 Dr. Greg Naberhaus detected a light partial tear in my right eye retinal area (nothing like a total detachment but damage could only get worse over time if not treated) I had never known anything was wrong as it hadnt affected my vision. He had his staff make and emergency appointment for me at a local specialist facility for the very next morning!After the session with the specialist the damage was successfully repaired but needed some healing time. The specialist made sure for me to follow up with Dr. Greg.His office had already set up two follow up appointments for me, one for the very short term, I thinks it was 2 days later. And one for a longer term checkup, I think is was a week or 10 after the first one.Dr. Greg was very pleased with the Specialists work at both of my follow up appointments, and I continue to have retinal scans on both eyes twice a year.I am very grateful to Dr. Greg Naberhaus for his expertise in detecting this critical damage and immediately having his staff make the emergency appointment for me at the nearby specialist facility, for the very next morning. His staff was completely supportive in giving me needed paperwork, and also gave me reminder cards for both of my aftercare follow up appointments with Dr. Greg, and his staff also reminded me by phone of these appointments the day before each one.And for years Dr. Greg has kept tabs on my glaucoma, I am dilated and checked twice a year by him (and more often if he recommends, as I see him 4 times a year total) and I am under his prescription care for daily eye drops. I have a family history of glaucoma and he keeps it right in check with his expertise.And Dr. Greg for the last few years has kept careful track of cataract development in both of my eyes, and at my current age of 67 he has recommended that cataract replacement surgery (one eye at a time) should be my next steps in maintaining my total eye health. As more time goes by I will follow up with the cataract specialist recommended by Dr. Greg, to see if I am an overall good candidate for this surgery.Dr. Gregory Naberhaus is very friendly and genuinely caring and I look forward to my appointments with him each year knowing that he leaves no stone unturned in the health of my eyes!

January 2021 I got my glasses, March 2021 my glasses broke, April 2021 my glasses was as if I had them for five years or 10 years full with water could not reduce the water in my glasses. This is the worst a facility I have ever been to!! I will not return to this facility whether my glasses work yes or no!!! I paid for an expensive pair of glasses out of pocket not included with insurance . Never again will I do business with this company.

Ive been going here for years. They are the only place that can get my prescription correct. Their service is excellent as they ensure the glasses fit you properly before you leave with them. The Dr is kind and the exam is thorough.

Eye doctor mill at your service! Do not go here unless you want to be overlooked by the staff & wait 45 minutes to see a doctor. Ever since they expanded their offices in Melbourne THEY ARE AWFUL! I’ve been going there for 10 years straight and the service has declined SO much in the last 4 years. The staff seems like they have no idea what’s going on. While I was waiting for 45 minutes to be called back, my doctor, Dr. Boyle, was walking around looking lost and like he had nothing better to do. During my appointment time!!!! And when I confronted the staff at the desk why I haven’t been called back it’s been 45 minutes & 2 people were called back before me, they looked at me like they never saw me before WHEN I JUST CHECKED IN.I will be telling everyone I know NOT to waste their time & money here.

We love this place. It feels like family. They all are really helpful and Dr Zermeno is amazing. Bright doctor and very compassionate.

The facility has a nice staff, very capable, but you spend more time waiting than getting any service! When I went to pick up my glasses, I waited for OVER an hour and they misplaced my file!! I suggest they schedule time for pickup to help the process.

SLOWEST EYE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Even with an appointment I was in this office for over 2 hours for a regular eye exam. The office was very busy when I walked in and when I left, changing my eye doctor asap.

I have been a patient here for over a decade. Although my type of insurance required that I switch to different doctors within the practice, I have always had a positive experience. The supporting staff dont get enough credit since they are the ones who provide all the measures the doctors need for initial evaluation. They are well trained and professional. I am always taken on time. I am a patient of Dr. Burns who is so warm, personable, capable, and always spends a generous amount of time with me. I have referred other family members who share my enthusiasm.There is no way that any online metrics can diagnose eye health the same way that all the diagnostics in this practice can. My husbands nearly detached retina was discovered during a routine exam, and he received a same day surgical referral that saved his sight. I wish all my medical appointment experiences could be this positive.

My frame broke.went to see if I was still covered by a warranty but unfortunately warranty only for 1 year after the day of purchase well mine was way past that ..6 years lol . Robbie was my consultant and she is really nice and went above and beyond to help me .she offered to me discontinued frame as long as my lenses fit she will give me this new frame for $40 instead of $170!!! I was really happy with my new frame and it was way below the price I would have pay.THANK YOU so MUCH Mrs.Robbie!!!

This review is posted in an effort to amend an earlier negative review that I posted in regards to a method of billing issue that now has been resolved (patients were being billed the full amount of their bill before insurance had an opportunity to consider what part they would pay). This policy developed because patients were not paying their share after insurance had paid theirs! In any case, in an effort to be more fair to the patients this business will now bill the insurance companies first and only then bill the patients for the balance. So, lets help these excellent professionals at their business by paying our bills when we receive them. Brevard Vision Care is top notch at their work and should be compensated for it. I find that I must strongly recommend Dr. Denise Burns and the rest of the staff at Brevard Vision Care.

Only get it right now if you know the right people. Have no glasses cant see and wont even give me a new pair, after mine were ruined when I was attacked and ended up with brain damage!! Gotta love places like this!! NOT!!

I have been coming here for almost 15 years and do not have a single complaint. Dr. Burns is extremely intelligent, caring, and just fantastic at what she does. The optics department have also been excellent and patient while I spent quite some time choosing glasses and adjusting them once they came in.

This place is terrible. They got it wrong with my prescription. I spent a fortune on glasses that I will never be able to use. I’m not able to see clearly through them. I see better without those glasses. Better vision with glasses from the dollar store. I don’t have insurance. It took a while to save up the money. It cost me a weeks salary for glasses that I will never be able to use and will just end up in the trash. I should have gone anywhere else.

I was treated like an object in an assembly line here. I had to see about 10 different people. One of them put eye drops in my eyes without even telling me what they were for. Turns out they were numbing drops for that machine that pushes on your eye ball. I havent had that done in over 20 years. The puff of air is so much better. I refused the service. Will not be returning.

The exam was complete, orderly, and I felt comfortable while I was walking around half blind. They took their time to help me and overall were extremely professional. I think that trying to describe an eye problem is already very difficult to anyone but I think they do very well in listening and addressing those issues.

While Im sure the optometrists and staff may be professional to others, my experience with their policies was the exact opposite. Not honoring prescriptions from others not only undermined my primary-care optometrist - it cost Brevard Vision Care $500 of business, as I was prepared to order two frames with lenses on the day, and ensured I would never visit them in the future. Furthermore, by not listing this fact predominately on their website, I feel it is an attempt to take advantage of nearby students - which is deplorable. Frankly, I would question the validity of the other reviews with this kind of bait-and-switch tactic.

We had been searching for months for an eye doctor that would take our foster childs insurance and Brev Vision Care saved the day! The staff is amazing, knowledgable and caring. The doctor made our child feel comfortable and happy. Thank you for such amazing care!

My whole family sees Dr. Dimmick. We love him and the entire staff. He was great with our one year old and our appointments are always on time and enjoyable. Their glasses selection is pretty decent as well and with our insurance was very affordable. Now with the new construction the office is really nice.

If you wear glasses and need to have your eyes checked or glasses repaired, there is no needed to go anywhere else! The environment is clean and comfortable. The staff is courteous and professional! Thanks to Mike for all his help!!

My husband and I have been going to Brevard Vision Care and seeing Dr. Dimmick since we moved to Fl 4 years ago. We have always been happy. This year when we ordered glasses, we had problems when we got the glasses. We figured this was the true test of the business. To our complete surprise, there was not one question about our complaints. Everything was handled with as much kindness and enthusiasm as was the initial purchase of the glasses. We can not recommend this business highly enough.

The worst experience of my life.

It was very unprofessional to be screamed at like a child as i walked in the door for not having a mask on by the woman behind the counter, very embarrassing in front of a room full of people, as i have a medical condition for not having one on i will never step foot there again.

After going elsewhere and being terribly disappointed, I was recommended to this office by a friend and was very impressed with the entire staff and office and the care they provided to my 9 yo daughter. The office is nice with a large selection of glasses to pick from. We were called back for her appt in less than 5 minutes. Jasmine and DJ were very kind and patient with my daughter in doing her eye exams. Dr. Nauberhaus was great, he listened to my daughter, joked with her, made her feel at ease and made a difficult situation (drops in eyes) go with ease. Mike pointed us in the right direction to glasses that were fully covered by my insurance and waited patiently as my daughter tried on multiple glasses. There were 4 people helping patients pick out glasses, so no need for a long wait to pick out glasses or feeling rushed to make a decision. Everyone we encountered was kind and happy and appeared to love what they do! The whole process was quick and efficient and I can’t get over the exceptional care we encountered! I highly highly recommend this place and will be referring my friends and family here.

Late yesterday afternoon I called, having what I think was a corneal abrasion (Ive had one before and know how it feels). Dr. Dimmick offered to stay at his office late if I wanted to come in after hours. Because I wasnt able to do that, they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Turned out my abrasion began healing itself overnight so I cancelled the appointment the next morning. Im giving them 5 stars, not only because they (both the staff and doctor) were so flexible in my situation but because of how helpful and caring they were when I called both times. Their #1 concern was ME, and I truly appreciated that.

30 yrs Ive gotten glasses.... This was the worst experience of my life.

I brought my sister here today and we wont be returning. Weve both had glasses since we were kids so weve gone through the eye exam routine a dozen or so times. This time took way too long. Dr. Greg left my sister in the exam room for over an hour and did not even stop by to tell her that he was busy or anything; in fact, Im pretty sure the only reason he came into the room (an hour later) was because I had to find him and ask what he was doing. His response when he walked in: I was looking at the scans. The eyes are certainly complicated organs but Im not sure it takes an hour (or much over 20 minutes) to review the scans he was referring to.I understand doctors offices are busy around this time, but the doctor could have at least had the decency to tell us that he was running behind or that it would take him >60 minutes to review her records and scans.I give 2 stars because the assistant, Anita, was amazingly helpful, knowledgeable, and made the whole thing somewhat bearable.

The brevard vision care Smells like tobacco. The eye doctor is a fraud my eyes always in pain and all he does is prescribe new glasses prescription didnt work then and its not going to work now. Not to mention the glasses frames that cover my insurance feel and look like the reading glasses you can get at the dollar tree. You also have to schedule an appointment and it can take months for them to schedule you in. When you can just call a schedule at 2020 and they can schedule you in faster then brevard vision care.

The entire interior of the building reeked of old cigarette smoke (which I am allergic to). Thinking it was, as the worker claimed not normally like this, I found when I entered the building a year or so later, that it was just as bad as the first time. I cant speak to thier service and im sure the people are nice and all, but when it is a known problem that is recognized by the staff and nothing is done about it, it says something about a business.

Watch out... price goes up once you leave but before you pickup

Have been a patient of Dr Dimmick for 5 years and have decided not to be a patient anymore with the amount of attitude I received from the front desk today. She continued to ignore my questions and concerns and yelled at me. Will be taking buisness else where.Update: Dr. Dimmick reaches out personally to discuss my concerns and figure out exactly what went wrong. He assured me that the situation would be resolved and my issues were heard. His apologizes were sincere and I will be returning my business with him. I have been going to see him for years and I come all the way from Tampa because he really is one of the few good ones with top care and equipment. I only keep my original review at top to show everyone that Dr. Dimmick takes full responsibility for all of his staff and is not afraid to step up and correct any issues that you may have. He will fight for his patients and that shows true character.Update 2: So happy and grateful that Dr. Dimmick has sent me complimentary contacts to hold me over until my next appointment. Received it in 2 days and they feel great.

Lets talk contacts.Ive been trying to get contacts for 13 years. I have pretty severe astigmatism and dry eye. My most recent eye exam prior to coming here I was told it was too severe to wear contacts and oh well so sorry too bad.I came to Dr. Dimmick because I needed a new prescription and frames. I said I was interested in trying one more time for contacts. He examined me and spent lots of time explaining all the ins and outs of eye issues. Then pulled out a sample pair, popped them in... and I could see! After going back a week later saying one eye went out of focus every time I blinked, he figured out that I preferred the contact 10 degrees off of the axis that I -should- have preferred, which led him to believe I had an astigmatism with my lens as well as cornea. So he got me a new right eye contact ten degrees different, and it was night and day difference. I am finally free of glasses because he took the time to really examine, and cared about me.To summarize, go see Dr. Dimmick. Hes amazing and I finally have my contacts after over s decade of trying. Thank you!
