They were quick finding the problem, had parts available and turned the job around quickly. They brought the damaged parts out to look at and explained why an additional sensor need to be replaced as well. They were friendly and had a good sense of humor.
I came in needing a new tire. The manager up front was extremely nice and professional. He told me to come in later and he’d have a new tire for me, and when I came in he had his team work on it in just a few minutes, when I was expecting to have to come by and pick my car up later that day. Excellent customer service from the entire team.
I brought my car in for a brake inspection. I knew that there was a problem with one brake. The inspection report showed that I needed front calipers, rotors and pads. I suspected that one caliper failed so I wasnt surprised. Also rear drums and pads were on the report as needing to be new. When I went in to see the car on the rack, only the wheels were off. The drums were still on and the front calipers were still on. I declined the service and brought it to another mechanic. This mechanic took the drums off and showed me that the pads were worn less than half way and the drums were in great shape. Midas tried to take advantage of me by claiming that parts were bad when they never truly inspected them.
Scott and his team are good guys. He got back to me in 5 minutes when I requested an on line appointments. I requested an appointment twice at the Greenfield location and they never returned my call.
Manager Jonathan Taylor professional approach to resolving my vehicle issues, included a detailed explanation of the issue, timely repair and ensuring the repair was done at a satisfactory price point.Thank you.
The manager and his assistant were very charismatic. They explained everything in detail and left no stone unturned.
Such a great place. The guys are so helpful and friendly. I go here all the time for oil changes!!
New manager is very helpful. Better then the manager they had a couple of years ago
Had an excellent experience. I was walked through what was wrong, options to take care of it, and I couldnt ask for more courteous, knowledgeable staff. Also probably the first time the waiting area didnt look like a converted broom closet.
We drove to the Menomonee Falls location in Milwaukee. They were asked to fix the heat. They said it needed a water pump. We ended up leaving the vehicle because it could no longer be driven. They still want $400. For the water pump that they put in. We couldnt drive the vehicle back home. They also took out the Oil and stated that they wouldnt put the back in the car. We recently just got a oil change. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THERE SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION ANYONE.
Professional and courteous....appreciate the great work!
Do NOT bring your vehicle to this Midas. I have taken my truck here twice, and both times they broke more things than they fixed. The manager argued with me and said it was already broken.Terrible customer service, terrible management, and terrible mechanics.I would NOT trust them to change my oil or put air in my tires.Aweful.
Very HIGH estimate for shocks and struts, and timing belt. I had it done elsewhere for less than half the price!
Very good service! Efficient and thorough work.
Had a very good experience for my first time being at this Midas shop. I highly recommend taking your car here to get things done Right the first time!!!!!
The manager sits on a high horse and isnt very skilled in customer service. Employees gave out misinformation. After acknowledging that the manager still insisted I pay AGAIN for a service I prepaid for.The manager at the location on captiol near Metro Market is phenomenal in guest service. He said himself that the manager at Menomonee was being difficult over an oil change for no reason.I got a discount at his location for the grief of the other location!
This is a must go location!! Very thorough, fast, and professional team!! Thank You Midas!!
I have been to many other shops that are overpriced, overbooked (1-2 weeks out) and often crooked (getting charged for work not completed). I needed to get in twice recently in a short window of time. They made it work with their schedule. First time, very fair pricing, explained well, and super polite. Today had my car for the day to fix ac...recharged it AT NO COST, and asked me to come back as soon as I notice a problem. I have NEVER left a repair shop without a significant bill to show for it. I will definitely return and you should try it out. CARMEN will take good care of you! Thank you!
Had the a pipe separate from the exhaust flange from old age (aka rust) on our 2004 Lexus. Our daughter has the car while away at school near this Midas as were out of state. Obviously a bit stressful not being able to help from a distance. Was also concerned wed have to replace major parts that couldnt be welded anymore and it would be an expensive job. From the start, Carmen was great in contacting me and talking me through what could be done. You could tell she new her stuff! Turned out they were able to cut out a piece and weld back in to the flange at an affordable price. Carmen worked with my daughter when she picked the car up and was extremely nice in advising on some issues to keep an eye on while not pressure selling or freaking her out. Happy we found a place away from home to depend on. Thanks, Midas!
Friendly staff manager was really great helping me going to make this my repair shop moving forward
Coolant fluah and fill. Great service.
I went to Midas to get brake lines done and end up needing a bunch of other stuff fixed. Finally got my car and the brakes don’t work like they should. The car shakes when I start it now, and my check engine light is on. Didn’t have these issues before I went to them. Never again!!!
Employees was not Professional! Charged me $800 and did nothing to fix problem to my vehicle! Refund me please!!
I work for midas
Called to get a leak in my tire fixed and they were able to squeeze me in right away (compared to all the other shops in the area that were gonna make me wait until tomorrow!) What a lifesaver as I had a day full of errands. Friendly staff and excellence service made for a hassle free experience. Would recommend ten times over! Thanks Midas!!!!
I worked with Dave, who I believe is the store manager. I had applied on-line for a Midas credit card and was told that they wouldnt be able to give me my acct number so that I could get the 6-months/no interest. They said that the store would be able to take care of it for me. Dave tried but was also told that it wasnt possible. He spent quite a bit of time trying to help me. He was very nice & patient with me. I went in thinking i needed a new exhaust/muffler but did not. I cant say enough good things about the customer service I received from Dave. He was great and deserves a raise!!! I was at the Midas-Menomonee Falls, N96W18375 Highway Q.
My check engine light was on. I went there to get it coded so it would go off. A friendly gentleman named Jason did it and said there was no charge. I am very grateful to him and will be returning to this company for other business.
I just had a great experience with this Midas. Came in for an oil change, and my gas pedal was sticking (slow to activate unless I stomped on it at times). They examined the pedal and discussed with me what they thought was the issue ... the mechanic tightened it where it was potentially loose, lubricated it, and cleaned out my throttle, free of charge! They showed me how my tires needed replaced (worn badly and causing noise) and took the time to talk with me about when would be a good time to replace them, not pressuring me at all. The mechanic and up-front staff person were both very clear and respectful and were quick to take care of me. I will definitely keep coming back!
We have generally had very good service here. The current manager, Dave, is very knowledgeable and explains things quite well. I recently had an issue with another team member there. When I told Dave about it he made it right and took good care of me.
I usually hate going to get my car fixed. I feel like they try to upsell me because I dont know anything about cars. I had a surprisingly great experience here! Chriss customer service and knowledge was more than I could have asked for. He went above and beyond to make sure my tire was fixed in time, and provided me with some valuable car knowledge. He really knows what hes doing, and more importantly cares about the customers experience in the process!
This place is terrible.I had 2 issues...got a quote on line, when appointment set I received an email from Jason saying the tires quote would have a $49 adder. And that the tires were in stock. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment they did not have the tires.....only could get them from combined locks location.Never again Midas!
A few weeks ago my Ford Edge needed some work. We were able to drop it off at Midas. Tim and his crew were awesome. They called to let us know what the diagnoses was and estimate. They let us think about it over the weekend and when I called Monday, they were able to complete the job that day so I could pick it up that night. They did a great job with it and we are very happy. I will certainly be taking our vehicles back there. They were recommended to us by two other friends and I can see why! Thanks guys!
Surprisingly clean and very friendly knowledgeable staff. Trustworthy advice and I didnt feel like they were trying to sell me anything. I will be taking all my vehicles here.
Very kind and professional shop! Not a shop where you feel like you are inconveniencing them for having them do their job. They took their time walked be through everything on my van. Anything that could potentially need to be fixed and other things that would be a waste of money for me to fix! Which you truly do not find these days! Not once did they make me feel like I needed to purchase anything additional. They also let me visually see areas I would have not otherwise been able to! I went in for an oil change- they did look over my whole vehicle for $20!! I had a trusted 2nd opinion on everything they told me. I was so impressed with how up front and friendly they were. I decided to go back and give them some muffins/cookies. As soon as my van pulled in they knew it was I was returning and immediately came out to see if there was a problem. Of course there was not. The only problem is people in the service industry who truly do a great job as they do work a thankless job! We rely on our vehicles to get us from point A to point B safely and we just pull in and say, you need oil ... they take the time to make sure we are safe. Then you flip em a $20 and youre on your way not even a second thought. Next time- when you see a blown out tire on the freeway- maybe think about thanking the service attendants that check your tires to ensure theyre at a safe level and road worthy;) dont take their jobs for granted- they dont take your safety for granted.
Very courteous, informative and quality service
Awesome shop! Tom is a very skilled technician! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for good automotive repair in the Milwaukee suburbs.
I dont think Ive ever had a better oil change experience than I did today. Derek K, the store manager, was one of the most pleasant and genuine guys Ive ever met. Not only did he offer me one of his personal, delicious Starbucks K cups when he saw me start to make coffee, but he also hooked me up with an incredible deal after hearing that I was on a budget. I have always gone to and trusted Midas, but now that Derek is working there, this branch will always be my first choice!!
I had a great experience with Midas. I was able to make an appointment online and get in the next day to get my breaks inspected. They were able to replace my breaks in a timely manner for a reasonable price. Derek, the store manager, was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this business.
I called Midas to see if they could patch a tire for me, I called about 4 other shops and they all said we can take you tomorrow we are booked for the day, but Dave at the front desk told me well take you in as soon as you get here. They took 10 minutes to get the tire fixed. Great service! Other shops looked at my problem as minor work, Dave at Midas understood it was an emergency for me as the temperatures on 2-25-19 were below 0°.
Crazy high costs compared to other shops and incorrect diagnosis. They wanted $960 more than another shop to do a brake job. I brought my car in for a noise coming from the front end which I told them I thought was a wheel bearing. Their diagnosis was rear brake job, in which they wanted $1200 to complete both rear brakes. I took it to another shop and they confirmed it was the front end that needed some work, including the wheel bearing, like I suspected, which cost $400 to fix. They also let me know my rear brakes were only half used and a rear brake job (both rear brakes) would cost $240, not $1200 like Midas wanted. Be very careful and make sure to get a second opinion. Additionally, Midas wouldnt write me up an official estimate for their $1200 brake job? That seemed very fishy to me. Also, an employee accidentally left their 8 Step Sales Process book on the front counter which is used to teach employees how to sell to clients that call, what an interesting read that was!
Was met by a new reception person who had the manager sitting next to her. He would not aknowledge me when asked a question. He was busy playing on his phone. Another unhappy customer walked in while I was there and the manager yelled at him. He quoted me a price eventually. It was ridiculously high and could not confirm my problem. Then he offered a lower price. Why not just give the best price up front. I refused to do business with him and I left. Very very unprofessional.
Came in with a humming noise in my front right wheel well. Suspected it was a wheel bearing issue and told them as such. They diagnosed it rather quick and gave me the quote, which seemed in-line with costs I had found online. I went home in the interim, and they offered to pick me up at my house and give me a ride back after the job was done. No extra unneeded maintenance was pushed or suggested on me.Overall a very smooth fix to a rather annoying problem to have develop in your car. Would recommend!
Wow, what a great experience I just had at the Menomonee Falls Midas Store just before the store closed tonight. I drive a 2007 Saab 9-5 and my headlight was out. I had purchased the replacement unit across the street at Advance Auto and they highly recommended that I stop at Midas to see if they would be able to replace my headlight. The Advance Auto Staff highly recommended Midas and were kind enough to call over to the shop even though closing time was only 20 minutes away. I stopped by the store and met Jason and Dustin. They were more than happy to look at my car to see if they could help. They stopped what they were doing and took care of my situation immediately! I couldnt believe it! What customer service! These guys were unbelievable and took care of my concerns and will now have a customer when something else comes up with my Saab. Thanks Jason and Dustin, I will tell everyone I can about your Midas Store!
I went to Midas in the Falls in October for an oil change. I recently noticed some rattling from my engine, I took my car to a local mechanic that my family has used in the past. He drove my car around the block, immediately went for the oil dipstick under my hood and showed me that was there zero oil on it. Not even sludgy oil that had lost its viscosity, but none. I realize the dipstick doesnt reach the bottom quart or 2 of oil however in ALL my years of owning and driving a car, Ive never seen the dipstick dry as a bone. The mechanic said there is NO way 5 quarts is oil were put into my car in October. He said the rattling is the timing chain amoungst other things that are struggling without oil running through the engine. He said the damage done could be catastrophic. There was no oil leak in my 2011 car.Simply that little oil was added at my most recent oil change. He said hes seen this before, he suggested I go to a GM dealer and get a quote on all the damage done because of MIDAS lack of oil change capabilities, then send the bill to MIDAS. That is my plan.I took my car to the dealership I bought it from this morning. As of today, my car is getting over $2,200 worth of work done to try and repair the damage done.I called Midas last night and explained the situation to the manager on staff. He said he would have his district manager, who works at their location, call me first this the next morning. I received no call from any employee or manager today to try and resolve this major issue.Dont trust them.Better Business Bureau is Next.
Last time we went we had to wait for hours longer than originally stated. They gave us free oil change coupons to compensate us. Went in today to use it and even if the man who gave us the coupon wasnt there for two years they still honored it. Offered free sandwiches and coffee, added air to my tires, windshield wiper fluid and informed me that I had very very low break fluid and they checked for leaks free of charge alongside the oil change. Front desk worker was very friendly and personable.
Way to high priceed dont do it
I called in on a Tuesday morning and Dave was awesome and got me in the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me the peace of mind I needed before a long road trip for Thanksgiving. Thank you!!
I was just on vacation driving through. Happened to have a check engine light issue. My car was taken right in and they were extremely helpful. Had me dont in a couple of hours. If I lived in Wisconsin this would be my go to shop.
I had previous work done there. The work was good. However after sending my Son in there, he was treated very poorly. He went in and stated that he had a slow leak in his tire and asked it to be checked for a nail. After reviewing the tire they stated that there was a slash in the tire and they would need to replace both front tires. They could put him an a 6 month payment plan. What a load of horsehockey!. Went to the dealership the next week and they fixed it with a nail plug for free. No slash, no new tires. I have lost all confidence in this location and will not recommend it to anyone. Makes me wonder if the work I had done there was necessary?????
The district manager Eric was very helpful. He was very professional and went above and beyond to solve our issue. Uncommon level of customer care in this day and age.
Midas is a great place to deal with. Honest, fair and speedy. Ill do business here again. They have a new manager, Bekkah and shes amazing. Very down to earth and nice.
They said 950 for a bolt on easy access 150 dollar part. Went up the road and they were actually able to repair the same issue for 60 dollars.
Amazing people were here when I was everyone was helpful and kind after I had the worst day. They made sure i knew everything that was going on. Absolutely coming back soon!
Great Place...The staff makes you feel welcome and they did great job on my brakes. Price was fair and all work has warranties. What makes me keep coming back to this store is the people. Thanks Midas for the excellent service.
They were able to fix an issue with my tire that noone else was able to 6 months later and my tire is still good. No more mystery leak
Repaired two holes in my tire when all other places I tried turned me down. Quick and great customer service.
Great service. Knowledgeable
They always take care of me and my families dumb cars!
Tom was great. Went over some problem areas with my truck
Their prices are fair and the people are friendly. Ive been coming here for years and will continue to do so. They can handle just about any automotive need.
I was in earlier this week for a simple oil change. Derek treated me with respect and made me feel welcome at your store. I will be back!!
Fantastic experience! Management and staff were very helpful and informative as well as fast service. Will be back! :)
Topped in without appt to check in something under vehicle. They put it up on rack and helped me out without any charge. Very nice of them to do that Tim was very pleasant and also all the other mechanics
So today my husband and I dropped my car off at Midas Midas Midas in Menomonee Falls, WI to get my brakes done. I left my gun in my middle console(I always do this, I know its a little careless but I do it). Well when we went to pick up my car the first thing I had my husband do was check to make sure my gun was still there. And of course IT WASNT. We went back inside to let the man know at the counter that my gun was missing, he called his store manager on the phone (the man who took my keys initially) and the manager came back to the store, pulled my car back in the garage and proceeded to search my car and ONE of the 3 employees that were there car. Of course all the workers denied them taking my gun. To make a long story short, I called menomonee falls police department and filed a report for my stolen firearm. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Midas they employ shady individuals that will riffle through your vehicles And to make matters worse, they didnt offer any consolation considering my firearm was taken, offer to take matters up a step further to their bosses boss, mention anything about replacing my gun or call the police themselves. I had to inform the police of the matter on my own and file a police report. The manager seemed disingenuous, disinterested, and unapologetic that there is a missing firearm from his store. I will be contacting their corporate office on Monday. Please share this so that it doesnt happen to anyone else.
Called before and staff said they could get me in,in about 45 minutes. When I showed up I waited an additional hour for them to even pull my car in the shop&then upon them inspecting my brakes I got quoted $400 for new front routers&brake pads. They definitely overcharge people.
Great guys, really helped me out and got my car back the very same day.
This place will ALWAYS try and upsell you or find more things to fix than what you go in there for. Went in for a basic tire rotation and was told all my struts were shot and should be replaced. Got a quote for $2,500 for it. Said no thanks paid the $59 for rotation and wheel balancing which I thought was a fair price. Went to a very reputable mechanic for a 2nd opinion who walked me through my entire car and showed me there was absolutely nothing wrong with my struts aside from normal wear and tear. No leaks or anything. For basic work this is an okay shop, but Ive never had a simple service done where they havent tried to sell me on things that arent needed. Be leery and always get a 2nd opinion
Had smoke coming out the hood of my car so I came here to see what was wrong. Apparently Valvoline on Port Washington by Bayshore left a rag under the hood during my oil change MONTHS ago!! It apparently caught fire and Jason the general manager here handled it with no charge and looked out for me!! Great service here!! Not so much from Valvoline
Great service and staff! They are more expensive but love the warranty and free inspections. Will continue going to this location as they do everything automotive
Quick service and a reasonable price. No surprises, either which was great!
My brakes got bad, and fast. I called and they squeezed me in and had my brakes done in a timely manner. Definitely would recommend them to anyone in the area.
Quick repairs and emissions testing. Fair prices. Didnt try to sell me repairs i didnt need or ask for
If I could give negative 1000 stars I would....RIP OFF! SCAMMERS! TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMEN!!!!! Thats the just of my experiences for people who cant read the rest and need a quick review. I came to this midas two times. Both times they were deserted which for a midas and having walmart auto up the road 3 days packed all the time speaks volumes in itself. First time, I needed two new tires I purchased put on. He told me 20 dollars per tire, okay! I expected about 45 or so after taxes and such, he tried to have me pay $60+ dollars after they already took my tires off. I told them to put my other ones back on so I can go up the road instead they charged me 45 for a half a.ss job. 2nd time my tire was leaking. Im black so as soon as I pull in this new white person decides to come up to my car not even 3 secs after I parked was rude asking me what do I need, Im on the phone with someone so that was just rude and I didnt experience that the first time! They see I got a nail stuck in my tire, this is not even 3 weeks after getting the new tires on. They tried to charge me $150+ for a new tire and all other extra sh.t so I asked them if they could just plug it, patch it, something, which Ive had done some times before (not here). They told me they cant do anything but give me a new tire because of where the nail was at. Lies! I went up the road and I guess SKILLED NON SCAMMING A.SS people were able to do it for $10! Keep your money from these folks and keep walmart auto thriving!- Update that comment they made was for show nobody contacted me back about anything
I took my car to this facility because i had a check engine light on, and it was local, for a small evap leak in my fuel system. They have had my car for over 3 work days, they were unable to fix the issue any of the times. I opened a credit with them because I did not have the money to pay for all the extra work they did to get more money out of me. A week later when I was not there someone put another customers credit on my account that now over 2 months later is still there as the credit card company did not see this as a fraud claim. I am very unhappy with their service and all of the extra work I have had to try and do to get this over $1100 charge taken off my account.
I was there today and the staff was very good, and helpful they explained what they did to my car and why they did it, I must say Im looking for a place to do work on it and I have found it, think you very much. Eugene
I had outstanding customer service at this store! Joe and Tom went above and beyond by staying late to fix my brakes. Thank you!!
I went into Midas worried about a few repairs & after meeting Derek at the front desk I sure stopped worrying. He had a harmonious and cooperative spirit & was abIe to quickIy distinguish the issues I had & he got me back on the road again safe, THANKS DEREK, SAMMY
Manager is very professional and show sincerity and generosity!
Rude people working in that place. No wonder why they place was empty when i walked in.
Kreg Kaepernick very helpful and professional! He should be the district manager because Eric is the most unprofessional district Manger I have ever come across. Eric does not return phone calls and has very poor customer service skills. I have know idea how year became district manager. A huge shot out to Kreg!!!!!
ZNo hadW
Do good work at fair price
Joe was great! Thanks for getting me back up and running.
I was treated super bad and ripped off at the locations at port washington and on Capital Drive. I actually reported the Port Washington location manager there.
Great place and they are open Saturday!
I went in for an oil change and basically was told I had to use a specific oil for my car otherwise they would not service. I ended up agreeing and waited for over an hour and fifteen minutes. When my car was completed I continued to wait, after waiting and never called, I approached to check in on my cars work status.I dont ever mind paying the expense to complete the job, however I have a problem of paying for labor expenses when I had to wait extremely long in order for them to complete the job.
Brake pads and rotors: $440. Fleet Farm: $230. You decide.
Was a long wait but okay. May go somewhere else this time.
Shady business practices. Start at an extremely inflated price to see if you balk.
Honest, competitive, and personable...great experience
Prices are high!
Professional and fast
Horrible shop, got coil over lift springs installed on my brand new truck and was supposed to get alignment done that I was charged for, noticed uneven wear on tires months later and took to 2 other mechanics who both said no alignment was ever done these guys are liars and thieves my brand new tires were ruined
