I always shopped at Sephora but I must say this place may have indeed a bigger selection. The staff was very friendly and helpful they also have a salon in store - as well as great sales and deals. I purchased an item I never find on sale at all and it was a daily deal of 50% off which was pretty exciting to me. There were brands here that Ive never heard of. I was so impressed that when I got to the checkout I was asked if I would like to open up an Ulta beauty master card. I was told that if I opened one I would receive $20 off my purchase today as well 3 gifts and gave me a birthday gift right off the bat. They also have a great point system and the lady who is standing checking out also highly recommended this card.

Saw Sarah for a curly haircut & all over color. She did an amazing job, and helped me find the exact color I wanted! Super personable and easy to talk to. I will definitely keep seeing her, and I highly recommend her services to any other curly girls out there!

Prefer Brookfield’s ULTA.Pros- Patient, and understanding :) super clean.Cons- No one to help on the floor, extremely understaffed, two nice coworkers, the rest seemed pretty rude to one another, felt like a Walgreens, not a nice shopping experience being followed around and watched closely as well…. It took me longer to shop, because I had no one to offer to help me nor greet me like it is at the Brookfield location and Mayfair. My cashier was nice, poor girl seemed to be yelled at for a lot of things she wasn’t aware of…. Maybe try politely informing your coworkers where things are, don’t make them feel bad about not knowing… won’t be back to this one, was my first time. If I do come, it will be for something quick and small. In and out. Otherwise, shop at the Brookfield, Mayfair, and even Waukesha one. Not this one.

This is one of my favorite ULTA locations. The staff are friendly, welcoming and genuinely want to help you. This is very different from other ULTA locations I have visited. I will be back.

This Ulta, and Ulta in general, is absolutely atrocious. I was buying makeup products one day and as I was checking out the cashier was telling me how if I applied for a credit card, I could get a certain percentage off. I told her intially no, as I wanted to pay for the products with a few gift cards I had received over the holidays. She then proceeded to tell me that one could pay off the credit card with gift cards, so I was like in that case I will apply for the credit card. Well as I go to pay the credit card at a later date, I find out that is in fact not the case and one can only pay for it with a credit or debit card. This infuriated me as I did not want the credit card in the first place, and now found out that I had been lied to. I tried calling customer service to discuss the issue, and they had told me that they would try to apply the original transaction to my gift cards instead of the credit card. Well a month goes by and I receive another letter from Ulta with an even higher balance indicating that they never changed the original transaction as they said they would. I proceeded to contact them just now to discover that I had been lied to yet again, and nothing was even attempted as far as the transaction goes. I am so fed up and disappointed with Ultas dishonesty and poor customer service, at this rate I am about to sue them. Selling a credit card under false pretenses is a suable offense and Ive reached that point now with them just to teach them a lesson. Worst store by far that I have ever been to, would definitely not recommend.

The store definitely has a bit of everything for everyone. In addition, its also nice that they most major brands.However after numerous trips to the store I rarely if ever notice any sales or discounts of any kind. Often times prices seem higher than I can find even at any department store and online for sure..I I made a choice a while ago not to patronize the Ultra stores for a handful of reasons but my sister wanted to go this day so I went and same old story.

This was my 1st visit to Ulta, and I was impressed!They have very friendly and helpful staff. I found almost everything I was looking for. They placed an order to be delivered to my door, free of charge, for what was sold out! Ill be back!😊

While they have a large selection of nail polish colors, they didnt have the OPI color I was looking for. It maybe a matter of supply difficulties since so many things are not in stock everywhere. If youre looking for a particular color I would call ahead

Worst experience ever . I came into the store looking for help and one of the associates had to stop her story and asked me “can I help you” Since I was clearly interrupting her waiting for a good two minutes for help. This was my first big shopping trip at Ulta and while I wasn’t wearing much make up I surely didn’t lookHomeless or like a theif but this didn’tStop them from trailing me around the store like I was stealing. But still not asking if I need help just standing there and staring at me. Jokes onThem when I ended up spending over $100. the manager made a snide remark and told her employee to text another manager saying her left hand was itching and she would know what that meant. Not sure if this is code for they thought I was stealing but jokes on them I will be contacting corporate because they are all unprofessional and really made the experience horrible I feel bad for anyone else who shops there I will be going back to get names. Ulta may be overall a great company but this location is terrible and the employees are highly unprofessional and rude. This was at a low-volume time and there was probably only other two other customers in the store sad excuse for customer service and I will never purchase with them again.

I love this store. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I love how they check in with everyone to ask if they need help, but they’re not pushy. I feel they really care about all of their customers, whether they are there for a service or a simple and quick shopping trip. I wish all the stores treated folks the same way.

Beautiful store and thought that the staff was nice, however I took my daughter to the salon to get a specific braid done for a dance performance, and the hair stylist barely knew how to do it! I showed her pictures of how it was previously done and I thought that since she was a stylist, she would be comfortable doing the hairstyle. She was very friendly but I’m a little disappointed at how it all went. I don’t think I will be coming back!

I always make a quick stop into this ulta, whether it’s on my Way home from work or just getting some time out of the house. Honestly I’m giving this a four stars because when I go in there the employees aren’t very helpful or very friendly to be honest.. I’m reading it a four stars because of my experience tonight was pretty great. I have a pretty well behaved but also rambunctious three-year-old who always hold my hand and usually listens well in the store. But like I said she has three so she is curious. She likes to try and touch and sometimes I let her when it’s appropriate. I usually get dirty looks when I bring a toddler into a pricey store. But tonight and employee named Haley was so kind to both of us and help me throughout my entire purchase. It was a nice change from the usual bad experiences I have at this location

Terrible! NO customer service whatsoever! There was not one person available to help me locate products in the store, or to answer questions. When I waited in a long line at the checkout, a little bi@ch stepped in front of me just as it was my turn to check out. The clerk SAW it, and didnt say a word!!! She just waited on the little snot. When I mentioned it when I finally got to her, she just shrugged her shoulders! Im 61 years old, and I deserve to be treated like a valuable customer. This was the last straw. Ulta lost me as a long-time customer. Ive had Ulta clerks look past me and offer to help younger customers in the past. I am now DONE with Ulta!

Jessica was awesome she walked me through what to do and the pro and cons of different make ups. She really spent the time and effort to make me feel like when I went home I could get the look I wanted.

Really had a great experience here. I dont use make up very often anymore, even when I did, wasnt an expert. I walked in, asked for someone to help me and got it. I also wanted more natural products and they had at least 3 different options. The staff was very friendly. The store is huge and has a huge selection as well. They do makeup, assume you need an appointment. Believe there is a hair salon too. Store is clean and has music going. Check them out.

All I can say is thank you. I decided after 2 years I would finally get a haircut. I went to a salon near my house and I was pretty upset with how it turned out. I decided to ask if I could get it fixed when I stopped into ulta. They just happened to have an appointment available right then and there! I was so incredibly happy with the results. The girls there are so funny and nice. Michelle rocks! I will definitely be going back and I wont wait another 2 years.

Ulta has every kind of makeup you need. Staff could be a little more attentive. Took someone 10 minutes to realize i was there and came over to help. Had a problem with a makeup exploding on me and customer service fixed it by giving me a gift card.

My experiences at Ulta-stores are usually pretty positive but at this location (in Mme. Falls) the customer service is questionable to say the least. The staff literally hovers over people of color who shop there! Granted they were helpful when I need them to be. But, there came a time when I wanted to browse, so when I would declined the help of one associate another would immediately pops up behind to assist me. There I was without a coat, purse, or bag, just the clothes on my back and my wallet in hand and, the sales associates and team leaders trailed me like I was, well...guilty until proven innocent. I had noticed that they did the same thing to other people of color who were shopping at the time, while the White customers were allowed to casually browse, sample, and shop without assistance. One sales associate actually put off a mother and her daughter (both Caucasians) who asked, directly, for her help with products selection, even after, I told that associate that I was fine and she could go ahead and help them. Plus to add insult to offense, cashier who checked me out actually opened one of my purchase items and looked at its contents without even asking me! She claimed that she just wanted to see the product! What was that all about?! I didnt want to cause a scene so I asked her politely to put it back and then I gathered my other purchases and left the store. After all, they seemed to have already stereotyped me as a shoplifter, I did not to fulfill the angry, confrontational, overly sensitive WOC stereotype too. In my opinion, everyone on staff at this particular store should undergo a diversity training and unconscious bias training--in at a time when the Metro Milwaukee area and the Health and Beauty-industry are both rapidly diversifying, racial stereotyping, to the point of racial profiling, is not a good look for anyone.Updated: The store manager called to apologize, I accepted her apology but did not seek or receive any thing beyond the apology.SEPHORA is closed for business on Monday, June 5 for a nationwide Diversity Training Clinic. I hope ULTA Beauty Stores follows their lead...

Absolutely horrible in store customer service experience!!!!I own a traveling makeup artist business so make is truly my game. Really dont shop much in the local beauty stores ( Amazon and online beauty stores are where its at) however desperate times sometimes calls for desperate measures so I stumble into my local beauty stores from time to time. One WAS (with an emphasis on WAS) Ulta Beauty.Now I can get pass the obnoxious follow the black girls around the store for asset protection treatment cause 1. Didnt come to steal 2. If you gonna follow me like a puppy, Ill make you fetch like one, and get my items . So its a win win situation. What I cannot handle is, I have a rewards account. I attempted to return something that my receipt wasnt ledgable and it wasnt on my reward account . Now the cashier stated she had to give me a store credit. Fine . Until I was told that the store credit would be based on the last persons purchase of this product, which in my case was 0. Yea I said zero. Which means in my book, a BS way of saying all sales are final.That was absolutely ridiculous.... I never returned anything before, so its a shame that they pushed me into the arms of anything other beauty store other than ULTA beauty over one beauty product.My go to local store will be Sephora, and anything other than ULTA BEAUTY! On my way to Twitter AND Instagram to send a nice blast about my horrible experience. We all work hard for our coins, and you can get overpriced, mediocre beauty products from anywhere so find a place where your appreciated. Sephora products are better anyway!!!!!
