We saw this store off the highway. Ive never been to this furniture store and we have been looking for a kitchen table. The store layout was beautiful! Also it was nice not to be bombarded with sales people asking what can we help you find. We where able to wander around and look. There prices are great and friendly staff. This will be our go-to furniture store :)
Friendly atmosphere as soon as we walked into the store. An associate was there to greet me and to help me find what I was looking for. The associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was there to help me make the best choices for my purchase.The area was well stocked and I found what I was looking for right away. The buying process was fast but not hurried.I felt like a valuable customer.
I am incredibly disappointed in my Steinhafels experience, and though they state their company values are honesty, courtesy, and outstanding service, that has certainly not been my experience.On July 15, I ordered nearly $5,000 worth of furniture, and we were informed that while our chairs were available, our couch wouldn’t be in until the end of August. Going into the sale, we even talked about supply chain issues with our salesperson, and he had stated that things were getting much better and there was no longer the delay that was happening at the height of COVID.Ten days later, I received an email stating that there was a delay with the couch and it would now we available in mid October. How could this projection change so much in ten days? I truly felt like we had been duped.Since that time, we have reached out asking if we could have the chairs delivered and were told that would cost an additional $50. Thinking this would be an easy win for Steinhafels, we asked for this to be waived, and we’re subsequently treated rudely by customer service.While not receiving any more emails, I now see that my couch delivery has been pushed out to the end of November, and one of the two identical chairs - that were both immediately available - won’t be able to be delivered until mid January. What?!? What happened to my other chair?I understand that the supply chain world is topsy turvey right now, but I feel that Steinhafels did is a huge disservice in being dishonest about the timeline upon our purchase, the opposite of courteous when we politely tried to get our chairs, and zero customer service since our sale - as evidenced by unreturned phone calls, rude customer service employee and no proactive updates.As someone to this area, delighted to have a new home and ready to furnish it, I’m sorely disappointed in my experience with Steinhafels.
My experience was absolutely wonderful. The saleswoman who helped me (I think her name is Tanisha?) was knowledgeable and treated me like family. She made the whole experience just fantastic. She should get a raise or a bonus, because it’s so rare to find a salesperson these days who really knows what they’re selling; and can explain everything in detail. My chairs were delivered within two days by two nice young men and I love them. Thank you for making it so simple!
Salesman (Matt) was very helpful and informative. Met all my needs and allowed assistance with everything I was looking for without complaint. Very nice selection of furniture and clearance items!! I will be returning if Matts available, many others were friendly as well!

The store was HUGE!! It was bigger than IKEA!! They have lots of upscale furniture there that looked really nice! Everything was great, nice salesperson, easy to pay for, but I had to drive to a warehouse to get my item. However, I got my item at the warehouse in LESS than 10 minutes, so that worked out great!!I gave the entire experience 5 out of 5 or a solid “A” for a grade, thank-you!-Kenny
Our sales person found us wandering around looking at bedroom sets. We asked for her help and she jumped right in. Made us feel conformable and listened to our wants and needs. She was not at all pushy. Her name was Tanisha.. She was wonderful to work with. She took her time, answered all our questions and steered us in the right direction. I had a great experience when I entered the Menominee store on yesterday. I was acknowledged when I walked in the store although each sales person was with other customers, I was allowed to browse freely. My sales person Roberto was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the products that I was interested in. I was able to see, sit and purchase my item quickly and easy. Job well done!
Bob was the best salesman we’ve worked with! We had challenges with a different furniture company and Bob completely turned our hope around. He was kind, knowledgeable and found us a couch we love. We are certainly going to come back to work with him, and will be lifelong Steinhafels customers now because of him.
Timothy was extremely helpful. I already had an idea of the couch I wanted to purchase jusy wanted to see it and try it out in person. Timothy helped me locate the exact one I was looking for, delivery options were very quick. Have a scheduled delivery for next day ( I made sure to find a couch I knew was in stock). Very excited to have our new couch delivered. Fast, easy process.
Horrible experience! 90% of my furniture comes from Steinhafels and never have I had such a bad experience. I went to the falls store to purchase and pick up an item. Not until I was ready to pay was I advised I had to go another location to pick up the item I was there for. Had there been some type of communication somewhere that advised you cannot pick up merchandise from that location I would’ve had a problem. I pulled out my truck that had been parked for almost 2 years and brought someone with me to help. Delivery options came up. I wasn’t open to paying for delivery for those reasons. NO ONE apologized for the inconvenience. The manager actually said apologize for what?? I love Steinhafels and I know I will continue to shop there. I just wanted Steinhafels to know the Falls store should treat ALL of there customers with care and concern at ALL TIMES.
Eddie at the Menomonee Falls location was incredibly helpful and professional. He made the entire buying experience very simple, and even followed up with me after the mattress was delivered to make sure I was happy and to provide additional tips for taking care of my new mattress.
Lexi was amazing. Very patient and friendly. Store was very clean and I enjoyed the layout. Plenty of room for our baby stroller while we browsed.

Nancy lied to me to make a quick sale. She specifically told me it would be “probably less than a month!!” For my couch to be delivered. I ordered my couches on august 9th. It keeps getting pushed back a month so I called to see what was going on. I was told they are 6months plus behind!!! BEWARE!!!

The transaction was so quick that the Memorial Day sale of 100.00 was never taken off of the receipt total of 2700.00. I hope we can resolve this. Purchased a beautiful power reclining sofa and chair set. The salesperson was wonderful. She was very helpful with helping us choose a set that would best fit the needs of our household (elderly parents live with us). Great shopping experience and will definitely buy from them in the years to come. The prices are reasonable and the quality of the pieces are excellent.

The people that helped me out seemed like they were still learning about how things work around the store, but I bought furniture back in June and have no idea when I will get it because it keeps getting pushed back every month. If I knew I had to wait this long I wouldve bought my furniture during winter instead.. Not sure if this is happening everywhere but I will not be buying from them again if this is normal.
Shopped here a few times, and always find better pricing elsewhere.

I was told my furniture would get here in a month at payment when purchased, two weeks later i received an email stating it’s over two months behind. I wish i would have know that up front, not weeks later! Still waiting fir my furniture with absolutely no arrival date yet. Grrr!
We came to purchase a bedroom chair. We wanted one that was not too large and swiveled. Brian met us and directed us to several chairs that were mostly in stock. He was very knowledgeable and we found one that met the requirements. All in all we were out the door in 30 minutes. He also directed us to area carpets for a future project. Thanks Brian.
I have been shopping here for years and years. Probably 8 years ago or so I purchased a few large items with the warranty. When it came time to use the warranty the process was so so so awful and impossible that I NEVER was actually able to even file a claim. I spoke to many many many reps over the phone and in store. That was my first experience. I loved the jumbo chair. The customer service was a 0/10. Literally. I took a break from steinhafels for a few YEARS I was so upset..I gave them another chance a few months ago! I ordered a huge sofa sectional with that ottoman and spend thousands of dollars on this. Before I purchase these items I talk to you the sales representative about my previous frustrations with the warranty and was assured that the process is new and improved and extremely easy! Unfortunately, that’s not the case!! I’m so frustrated!!! I filed a claim months and months ago and have yet to receive our new ottoman that has already been “approved” in writing by the steinhafels insurance group! I have reached out to the insurance company and it directly to Steinhafels several times and still have yet to receive the new ottoman. I called again yesterday and was told that it hadn’t been delivered because we all a fee which I had no clue about. They emailed me a link with the fee which was approximately $140. I questioned this fee obviously and was told that although the Ottoman was approved to be replaced that there charging a delivery and set up fee which is that phrase. To me that seems ridiculous especially as there’s nothing to set up with the Ottoman… I voiced my concern and the lady over the phone told me that she could change the fee to $30 instead of 140 if I don’t need help setting it up. Okay, so I paid that yesterday MORNING. Then I said when can I expect this to be delivered and she said (Bailey) it’s actually in stock at one of the locations near me and that they would reach out to me via email to give me a two hour window where they could deliver it tomorrow which would be today. I canceled plans and made sure I stayed home all day. I continuously checked my email never got an email. Once again I call Steinhafels Menomonee Falls which is the closest store to me and talk to Lydia. Lydia Said that it in fact is not in stock and wouldn’t be delivered until November sometime. Today is October 1. Once again this is just adding to my frustration. I tell Lydia I do not understand what is going on as I just talked to Bailey yesterday who confirmed it is in stock at the Waukesha location and would be delivered today.. I told lady I wanted to talk to a manager she said she would email her manager and they would call me when they are available. Hours later I get a call from Steinhafels. It’s Lydia calling on behalf of the manager! Lydia stated that due to me not paying this fee before 10 PM it was taken off hold and now I am on the waiting list for this ottoman which is expected to be delivered in November. I have email confirmation proving that I paid this fee at 10:41AM!! I told Lydia this and make sure she understood that I have it in writing showing that this was paid before 10 PM in fact 11 1/2 hours before. She then stated she was going to email the manager once again requesting that they contact me and she reiterated to me that this item was taken off hold due to non-payment In time..I have three small children at home. I am an emergency room nurse working through a pandemic and putting in on average of 130 hours every 2 weeks… I do not have time for this!!!! I am officially done with steinhafels. At this point I would not recommend this company to anyone I care about.. it’s non stop… it’s exhausting.
If I could give a 0 or a -5 I would. Ordered at the end of January, was told delivery mid March. Quickly changed to mid April. Then quickly changed to end of May. Then was told mid May. Then told May 10. None of these updates were from actual people, just from the website. Every time we would call or email they would just say it was hard to pin down an actual date. We do also have multiple emails that say they were confident the furniture would come in April. Today, the website changed the date from May 10 to July. JULY. So a week before the anticipated delivery it changed to two months later. I called and talked to Hannah, who said it was actually June. She gave me no options other than to cancel the order, continue to wait or pick something else that is currently in stock. I asked for a manager, and apparently no managers work there. Then I asked for half of my money back until I got the furniture. Told her they could charge me the other half when they delivered the product. She said no. Terrible service. And if we end up getting this furniture before we cancel, we will never, ever shop there again. Beware, they might have sales going for the holiday, but you will not get your furniture until next Memorial Day. And they dont care either.
Anthony Grisa was great,very knowledgeable and pleasant, stayed with me the whole way. Ended up with a new adjustable bed and a new couch.
Terrible Customer service- I ordered 3 pieces of furniture and was told since I spent over $299 I could have my items drop delivered for no charge it’s called an in carton drop off where I would have to put the items together and move them inside the house. Excellent, as I am able to assemble the items and could save some of my hard earned money.The items were delivered- I started opening the boxes and one of the end tables was badly damaged. I called and spoke with customer service, she asked if I could email her the pictures so “they believed her” strange… she scheduled the pick up and delivery for a few days away on my day off and that was that.The next day I receive an email (should have been a phone call) that stated if I wanted the replacement delivered that I would have to pay a delivery fee of $139 because all exchanges and returns for a carton drop are the customers responsibility. I replied pretty stern because as the customer I was dumbfounded as to why I should be responsible for going to the warehouse for a replacement item that was broken. I have already spent my time and money with them and it was their turn to fulfill their commitment to me, which is to deliver the furniture I ordered Un-damaged!! I asked for a phone call to discuss, again I received and email this time with the drop policy which states any returns or exchanges must be done by the customer. I picked up the phone and called the customer service after explaining to the customer service person she kept telling me it was their policy. I asked to have the issue elevated to which she replied it won’t matter “they” won’t call you back, “they” will tell me to call you and tell you the same thing. I am completely speechless.I am not trying to return the item because I changed my mind. I am not trying to exchange the item because I changed my mind on the color or size. I just want the damaged item replaced!!While shopping, we were approached by at least 5 hungry salespeople. One of them even apologized saying how slow it’s been… well perhaps if they treated their customers right there wouldn’t be the need for employees to tell customers it was a slow day!Save yourself and your blood pressure and go to Ashley’s Furniture at least there if something is damaged they follow up with phone calls to ensure you’re satisfied. This company could care less. Wonder if that is how Mr. Steinhafel wants his customer to feel? I wouldn’t know because I was not allowed to speak to anyone other than the person who answered the phone. Sad

Unbelievable customer service. Had a few items delivered. Legs were not attached (small error) so I went to attach them myself and do not have hardware to do it. Spoke to customer service, answered the phone immediately, had my account pulled up and was offered options to remedy the problem. Mistakes happen and sometimes we as customers need to be tolerant, businesses can control how they handle the issues. I went to Steinhafels after having a availability issue with Wayfair. After this experience I will come back. This whole thing may seem like an overreaction, I guess I just expected the runaround and was so pleased that I didn’t get it!

They say that the first impression you leave others can pay off. In our case, that was certainly true. My husband and I have walked into Steinhafels three times looking for furniture for our new home. Each time, Bob Oates, one of the consultants at the store, welcomed us. The first day, he spent a great deal of time with us showing and explaining different products. Given it was our first day out looking for furniture, it was unlikely we were going to purchase something right away but Bob was generous with his time anyway and we appreciated it. The second time we went, we weren’t set on working with Bob but we ended up running into him again. It was unclear whether or not he remembered us but he gave a warm hello even though he was working with another customer at the time. He may not have remembered us, but we surely remembered the warmth and genuineness in his tone. The third time we went, we knew what item we wanted to purchase and went in with a mission. I walked right passed several consultants where only one of them said hello. I looked around the corner and there was Bob with another customer again. He saw me and gave his warm hello again. As I walked toward the item I wanted to purchaseo, I saw that no consultants were around to help. I made up my mind in that moment. The sale was going Bob even though he was helping someone else. I requested his help and gave him the sale. Also, because of him, we will be going back to Steinhafel’s to purchase other pieces of furniture for our house.

Purchased a knew mattress from Steihafels. Our salesperson Wilma was very polite and helpful. She explained the difference between the multiple variety of mattresses. Would highly recommend Steinhafels not only for mattresses but also the fine furniture selections avaliable. The pricing is very reasonable especially for the quality youll find in the store.

I have purchase furniture from them for years. So when I purchase a apartment size sectional on October 8 of 2020. I was told that I would receive in at the need of November or early December. I was understanding with that time thinking that I would be getting it at least by Christmas. So while my order it say order not found. Then when I call the customer service representatives mentions that show I should be hearing from the delivery service at the end of the week. Now this like 5 of December. So again I wait patiently but no call, Now Im really upset so I go into the store. The sales lady tells me its showing that my furniture should be in at the end of week, however I would possibly still not get it until the end of the month. Because customer who furniture thats purchase furniture in store will have their deliveries done first. Now I am getting more angry about this purchase. So she show me other furniture thats around the same price point. So I see this sofa it was nice it cost just a little extra. But as I think about it. I really like the one that I had selected. She said she would be watching for me. So that Sunday I get a call stating my furniture had come in so I super excited to only find out in wouldnt fit then to realize it the wrong piece. So again I drive back there to find out how dis this happen and were is my furniture?. Only to be told that I would possibly be getting it mid January or February. So I am like why would you all give me miss leading information when you so that I could make an informed decision. So I asked for my money . So be careful of my rushing you to make the purchase so you will be on some form of list. So I felt mislead. Because the truth is you may not get your furniture for 6 months or so. Also most of the sales people that I spoke to just so poor customer careI hope this helps some one make a better decision because they will not give it to you.

Awful customer service. Rude and arrogant. We needed the lowest height mattress possible of which the salesman was aware. Even discussed the necessity of cutting 2-3 inches off of the head/footboards based on new mattress thicknesses. We were never offered a low profile box spring and only found out about it 2 days after delivery from an ad on TV. Called and wanted to order one but have it be delivered at N/C as it was not offered but would have been purchased immediately had the salesman done his job in offering it. Everything would have been delivered in the same truck with 1 charge. They accused me of deciding that I needed it after getting the mattress and trying to force them in to free delivery. NOT THE CASE! Poor sales job. Poor customer service. I have lots of new furniture left in my life, but not 1 dime will go to Steinhafels. For the sake of a 10 minute delivery Ill now tell everyone that I know.

I wish the stars could be a negative or less than one given that has been our family experience at Steinhafels. Young Andrew Steinhafel needs to instill compassion into the employee culture versus a culture of revenue extraction and games played with senior citizens on limited income. Steinhafels is a SHAKE DOWN company! It is all about revenue extraction versus building a good customer experience and standing behind the products sold. I would consider competitors to Steinhafels. You will be find there are better companies out there with customer service representatives that care about their customers versus the extortion of cash for service.They sold my 89 year old mother, who is legally blind and who cares for her 66 year old handicapped son, a bed which her son, our brother needed. After four months, the bed failed in support causing a crease to form in the center of the mattress. Supposedly under warranty and complications of an inspection due to COVID, we escalated to Andrew Steinhafel to get resolution after run around from Customer Service.A gentleman named Scott called and stated Mr. Ruelle, we will get this resolved and if the mattress is defective, we will replace it! It was determined to be defective. We paid about $1,120.00 for the mattress.When we asked for the replacement, we were told it would be another $100.00 for delivery and an additional $120.00 for a cover if we wanted the warranty ( we bought the cover on the original mattress and it is now 7 months old and in perfect condition, but Steinhafels extraction policy requires another $120.00 purchase of a cover if the warranty were to be applied. We told Steinhafels we would return the mattress and asked for a refund only to be told No, we will not refund you!. Pay the delivery fee or we will not delivery the new mattress we are replacing and pick-up the defective mattress. THIS COMPANY IS NOT A COMPANY YOU WANT TO DO BUSINESS WITH !Prior to my Dads passing, he ran a furniture store in Milwaukee for 36 years. He always said, I would rather give a little than take more because the customer who is happy will always come back. We will never be back to Steinhafels and we recommend others to stay away!
Bought an electric love seat and after a year it stopped working. Steinhafels refused to help. Buyer beware.

Im always a fan of Steinhafels. I receive great service every time I go there. Im always able to find what I need. This time did not disappoint. I went there to find a rocker recliner and I ordered it. Im sad that I wont have it right away, but thats because I have to wait two weeks, which is fine considering some places are making people wait 3 - 6 months for the furniture they ordered.Robert O. was a great help and I will continue to contact him if I need to order anything else. Great, large selection Brian! Brian was very gracious and accommodating as we tried to find a new couch and side chair. He even moved a large chair across the showroom so we could see if a mis-matched set would work as we hoped. It did, and we will take delivery soon.Highly recommend!

Purchased 6 pieces, after an extended wait 3 of the pieces arrived damaged. Steinhafels then made errors in coordinating the replacement items.
Horrible! I dont know how to comment to Steinhafels reply, so Ill edit my review. That was by FAR the FASTEST response Ive received during this whole broken couch episode!!!My couch broke in March. Steinhafels was no help, kept referring me to Guardsman. I set up the appointment, technician came out. The NOTHING for weeks, until I decided to call Guardsman. After multiple calls and a total of more than 3 hours on hold I get the options. That was a few weeks ago. Yesterday, Steinhafels finally calls me and tells me the couch is on backorder. My options - wait or call Guardsman back. No thank you. Im your customer, this has been ridiculous. I will never purchase from Steinhafels again, youve lost a customer. The lack of concern and customer service is outrageous. MAYBE Ill get my replacement couch by July! 5 months with a broken couch! Thank you Steinhafels!
Our Bedroom furniture arrived on time. Delivery/Service technicians were courteous and careful with the delivery. Were happy with our purchase from Steinhafels! 😊

Save your money and go to Biltrite. Steinhafels is IKEA thats stronger wood. Having purchased from both stores youll have a better experience at Biltrite. Better service and better quality. Though the salesperson at Steinhafels was fine, I called today as I was unpacking a barstool that had a tear due to its box having been compressed and was informed that I was to have reported the issue within 48 hours and they could recommend a furniture repair shop. That is not good service.
We purchased a living room set for a little over $4000.00 around 6 months ago. The material on 2 of the pieces is pilling like an old sweater. They look old already. I called a few days ago to talk to someone about this. I was told, thats considered normal wear and tear and they cant do anything about it. No suggestions or information just shot down with no help. We are done with this store and the poor quality of their furniture. My two pieces of furniture should not look this way....Shame on you for not offering amy Suggestions,etc.
The associate that handled my purchase was friendly, professional, and he possessed good customer service skills.
The in store experience was great but upon recieving our new bedroom set the whole corner of the headboard is cracked and if we want a replacement it will cost us an additional $140 to replace what they broke. This is not good business.

Took the day off work as our new bed was to be delivered today. Delivery arrives and the pieces are wrong. Called and kept being promised a call back which I never received I had to keep calling. They rescheduled delivery 2 days later which means I now have to take additional time off work. Beyond frustrating!!
