It is unfortunate when you spend $10,000 on any home improvement project and are made to feel like youre the bad person for bringing up an issue. We had 10 windows installed and after the installers left, we went out to look at them. We discovered that they were not installer properly because they were missing caulking on 7 out of 10 windows. Customer service told us that is odd, because the installer was one of their best people. I knew then, something may be amiss. We sent pictures to different people at the company upon request. When the installer came back to do what needed to be done, we ended up apologizing to him for having to come back out for an incomplete installation. To add injury to insult, the installer had nothing to say about it except what he saw was an easy and common thing to forget when doing window installations. This shocked us. Now we will never know if our windows were ever fully installed properly or not. We are concerned that the inside of the windows are also missing parts or caulking etc. It is a horrible feeling, especially after spending this kind of money. What can we do? We are stuck and at the mercy of them who dont really seem to care, follow-up etc.
I had to update my review from a 1 star to a 4 star.Window Nation sent someone out (Brad). And he did a great job filling me in on their; company, windows, and install teams. He made sure to keep the meeting moving quickly, as he knew that he wasnt the first person to give me a quote. It was a much better experience then dealing with the call center.OLD REVIEWI tried to get an appointment for 12 windows and 2 sliding glass doors. Since I work from home I tried to make an appointment during the week. They refused to make an appointment with me because my wife wouldn’t also be home. The need all decision makers at home to give you an estimate. In other words they are going to try to pressure you into making a decision before you have enough time to do more research.
Would not recommend. Rather hard too trust a company that cant makes me question their literacy. Nice people though.
We purchased windows from window nation 5 years ago because our old windows were original and had become foggy and dirty looking. We had windows installed in 2 rounds. The first installation resulted in a window that was not properly caulked which was leaking down our wall onto our floor. This was not discovered for 3 years after install which resulted in significant damage to our wall and floor. The second install, done before this discovery, resulted in installers that were haphazard. Trim on windows were not installed flush and their install caused damage to our ceiling and walls. Now 5 years later dirt and mold has been collecting around the rubber guaranteed seal . When I called window nation I was told it would be $150 for someone to come look at it and he said I can try to wash it, but it will just come back. So our new windows are forever filled with grime and dirt around the edges. We had a representative come to our door, he asked about our windows, I told him the problems, he took notes and said he would be in touch to rectify the situation. I never heard from him. Window Nation has a terrible product.
We had all new windows installed and loved everthing about the transaction. Clean fast efficient service. I called back for service on several of the windows and they came out and find tuned all of them. Love how easy they are to clean and how air tight they are. Great Choice choosing Window Nation
They dont even deserve 1 star. I placed an order in July to get windows put in,I gave them my down payment and I decided to cancel then next day because I felt that it was over priced. Well now its September and yet I have not received my down payment back, Ive called multiple times and no one can help me . So before you think to buy Window Nation windows shop around and youll find better prices and better customer service!!!
You really need to do something about the lack of drop off locations for screen repair. One location in all of Ohio? Either that or dont make it a selling point...
Great company excellent work.
These guys are walking around the Surfside area of Eastlake and sat at Surfside Park to rest. While sitting there and numerous kids were playing one of the guys continually dropped the F word like it was the letter A. Parents continually looked at him and he never got the point! He also complained about his employer and told them to go f*** yourself. An absolute disgrace to window nation having this clown employed.
