They suggested a newer more modern finish that would not yellow over time and have a nice satin finish.Along with the excellent work they put into the floors, the service was amazing. We recently purchased our hardwood floor from Capell Flooring. It is beautiful and we love it. The crew that installed the floor were nice and respectful and thorough. The only thing that was difficult was that our stair noses for the stairs were out of stock and needed to be ordered which we understand. They just took longer than expected to get in and installed. Capell sent someone to repair the damaged area and you cannot even see where the repair was done. After the repair, someone came back to check on the work. The product was quality; the installation was timely and the installer “a really nice guy,” but the really great thing about Capell was how knowledgeable and informative the lady who helped us chose our carpet was. Capell Flooring has done 2 jobs very well for me. The first was refinishing my hard wood floor in 2016. They did a wonderful job and it still looks beautiful. It was an easy choice to go back to them in November 2018 to re-carpet 3 rooms and stairs. They worked with me for weeks on the decision, answering my many questions and applying no pressure. We did a rather major remodel of our kitchen/front room/dining area/great room/office/halls/laundry room and stone around our mantle. We went away from nearly all carpeting (and some vinyl) to laminate hardwood and had to fit in carpeting in the great room on some odd angles since we didnt want too much hardwood. I dont think it could have gone any better in any way shape or form. Its like having a new house! The team at Capells is top notch along with skilled craftsmen who did the installs.

After such a great Capell experience removing carpet and replacing with hard flooring in our bedroom, we decided to remove the living room carpet also. I cannot explain how much neater and cleaner it feels not having the unknown level of cleanliness under a carpet! I had it cleaned recently and was told that a carpet should be professionally cleaned at least every 6-8 months. At 18 months, the carpet, although it looked clean and was vacuumed regularly, was long overdue for deep cleaning. Now that we have our new hard floor in the living room, it just feels and looks so fresh and clean. We do have an area rug (which is scotch guarded with a good pad under it from Capell) but I can easily lift it and clean under it.The room looks great, we love this new floor, and appreciate the guidance received from Capell in making an awesome choice for us and our aging dogs. I am a researcher....I took a notebook and I went to 5 carpet stores including big box stores, a chain carpet store and Capell. I had three measurements and official estimates. I wanted the right quality and price. I went to Capell because of their amazing reviews. From the beginning, I felt like it was a trustworthy, non salesman approach to finding the right fit. I worked mainly with Justin but also a little with Mat the owner and Becky. They were all very kind and helpful. Justin was very patient with me and the 2 schedule changes I had to make due to other flooring. What i liked about this store- middle ground on pricing but highest reviews for working with clients, customer service and non-salesman pitches. I loved that their quotes were very easy to understand and clearly state what each part of the project would cost. When I asked different companies for how long they would guarantee no wrinkles in their carpet I got from 1 year to 2 years, only one other besides Capell said as long as I was the owner of the carpet. With Capell I love that I know who I am talking to, they are local and they guarantee their work. I wish I would have used them for my luxury vinyl flooring install. Like I said, Capell wasnt the least expensive (average on pricing, not high, not low) but they had the best warranty, guarantee and customer service of the 10 hours of research I put into this decision.

We needed our carpet stretched after being told by many that they couldn’t do it or it wouldn’t work having had the ripples for several years. I stumbled across Capell flooring from a Google search. The great reviews arent exaggerated, they were a great company to work with. I had a very odd job to be done, moving carpet that had already been installed into another room upstairs. I had tried getting other carpet installers to come out and give me a bid, but most wouldnt even return my call. The one that did bid me at $1000! Capell wasnt turned off by my small job and the bid came in at $600. I was also having trouble finding a company to clean my already pulled up carpet, and Capell recommended a carpet cleaner who did a great job as well. All the Capell employees I spoke with were very polite and answered all my questions in a manner that made me feel I was their top priority. They also followed up after the job was done to be certain it was satisfactory. I will use Capell flooring again and recommend them to others.

We had hardwood added to our master bedroom to match the existing wood and the original floors refinished. While Capell contracts out to hardwood floor installers, they were very timely on getting me a quote and very professional in checking to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. A couple of weeks after my floors were refinished, the finish was pulled off by tape laid down by our painters. Capell came back to my house, found a hardwood installer to fix it, and even took care of the extra expense when the repair cost more than originally quoted. Great company to work with!
