I took my first cooking class and loved it! Cooking is not a strong skill of mine but Chef Maria was very thorough and I walked away with new skills.The food was fantastic! This was the Fabulous, Fast, French class.I would highly recommend taking a class. I also recommend going with a group of 4 because you work in a team and it’s easier to communicate and share jobs with people you know.

Out family loves this store, their selection of products, and their helpful, fun, and professionalism.We get almost everything (kitchen-wise) from this store. They have everything short of groceries here.They also provide Cooking Classes in a variety of styles. Like Couples Cooking and other fun food prep activities for some really popular dishes.Maria, one of the Classes chefs, was super awesome, informative, and energetic. They have Class Calendars that you can pick up from the store. They include the current month and next months Class Schedule, Dishes, and Dates.

Great customer service. Employee working Paula was a great help. She went beyond the call of duty helping us. I was with my brother Brian who is in a wheel chair. She was the 1st to greet us and help us maneuver though out the store. Shes a keeper. Dont let her go. Thanks again Paula

Explained to employee who bum rushed me about not having a mask that I had an exemption and she said, and I quote we have no way of knowing that, and unless you can prove it you will have to leave. Unfortunate because I loved this store up until that point.

We joined the Spring Pasta Workshop and had a wonderful time! Our Chef Daisy was great and full of information. The finished meal was fabulous! Definitely a winner!

Had been a long-time, loyal customer, but after my experience there today I’ll be searching for a new kitchen store. After watching both managers be dismissive to an adorable little grandma trying to let them know her frustrations with their poor customer service at check-out I walked out ensuring I’d never spend another dollar trying to support an already struggling/bankrupt corporate franchise.When I tried to tell the manager, her behavior and rudeness were reprehensible - she couldn’t have cared less. Hopefully they’ll be moving out of Meridian soon enough.

An always attentive staff offsets the expense. One of my favorite stops in the Village, I always find something to buy.

Our Chef Maria Stewart was fun and very knowledgeable. She made everyone comfortable and taught different techniques of cutting, slicing and chopping. The class taken was “New England Dinner”. The ingredients were pre measured for us. We worked in groups which was fun. As we prepared the food and put together communally we created a family style meal which all participants enjoyed together at the end. Delicious! This was fun and I recommend these classes highly. I would definitely sign up again. All recipes prepared were given to us at the end of class in a packet which included a coupon for the store. Fun for couples or groups of friends.

Ive been to two cooking classes here now and both were amazing! The chefs were both informative and very helpful. They were both well worth the money we spent and I am so glad I got to go. The store has an excellent selection of cooking utensils and appliances. I highly recommend coming in and checking it out!

Enjoyed a cooking class, ate the meal we prepared with class participants, browsed a huge variety of cooking products in the store, and enjoyed wonderful people. Support staff took care of our needs in many ways. Our teacher, Maria, ably shared a huge amount of knowledge in a short time, warmly and clearly. The ingredients for each step were artfully prepared and the entire process was well orchestrated to fit in a comfortable amount of time. This was a great way to cook and eat with friends and people of similar interests, all in an extremely attractive setting.

It was okay.. I thought my husband and I would be cooking our meal together but it was shared with another couple 😕 Learned some great techniques, Maria was very knowledgeable. For $170 I was expecting a little more. Sur La Table should also consider serving beer and wine on date nights like this. Seemed a few couples brought that up. Not sure we will do it again.

Chris was sooo helpful! He helped me get the exact cleaver I wanted. Was the last one so he honed it for me and I got an even bigger discount than I expected. Oh. Their pizza seasoning Rocks too. Great employees, but I would be too if I worked there. Great store! Great staff!!

Took a knife skills class. Well done and I learned a lot.

Lots of good things to select from. Terrible customer service. Went in looking for a slicing knife and the employee who worked that area said they did not carry anything larger than what they had in their display cases. Went about shopping. Had one item to purchase was totally ignored by the staff even after asking how their day was. Wnt back to the knife area and low and behold I found the knife I was looking for. Still now one was around to help with the check out process. I can only guess it was because I wasnt dressed to impress. The knife was only $70. Finally a nice lady Tonya came and helped me thats the only reason they dont get a one star. If you go shopping here, be sure to dress your best or expect poor service.

It has tons of stuff! Some interesting gadgets and other neat kitchenware. It also has cooking classes in the back!Downside are the prices. And I didnt appreciate getting asked for my email as soon as I got to the register.But this is definitely the go to place for your kitchen needs.

After several very good experiences it at this store over the years, it is unfortunate that I have to write a negative review. Upon having to return a defective coffee maker, the cashier (Chris) essentially accused us of using it incorrectly. He completely lacked any customer acumen. He continued to mock us us and insinuated we had an inability to operate the machine. His tactic was complerely condescending and has no place in a retail establishment. While we were open to an exchange or to shop for other options, his actions led us to simply leave and take our business elsewhere. With many other stores that also have great products, I doubt we will be showing our patronage at this store anytime soon.

Awesome store for everything kitchen (and beyond). If you are looking for a really great date night, try the cooking classes! So much fun!

I love Sur La Table. They have an enormous collection of high quality cookware thats actually affordable somehow.

Went to buy a new chef knife all the employees were standing around talking to each other. Only 2 customers in the store. no one asked if I needed help. Very poor customer service.
