There is so much in the store it doesnt feel organized. I often lose interest in looking around. This time I came I was unable to find what I was looking for and the alternatives were not satisfactory.

FAITH did an awesome job with me... I had no idea where to start with makeup and thought it would be overwhelming... but she was kind and sweet and help me through every step of the way

The staff at this location exceeded my expectations! They were all very helpful and knowledgeable of all the brands and products I asked about. Each individual I spoke with were very courteous and patient with me, seeing I dont know much about makeup. I left the store feeling accomplished and readily prepared to use my new products.

I LOVE ULTA! They have a big arraignment of products and they are always expanding and adding new brands. I love the point system and the staff is always very nice.

Went to Ulta to pick up some mousse. Masks and distancing are required. The store has a large selection of hair and make-up products. I was very satisfied with the selection and the help staff.

I had my hair cut at this location a couple of weeks ago by Valentina and was very satisfied. My husband bought me the Dyson blow dryer before we left because she used one and I was so impressed. 2 weeks later and still love the haircut and cant live without this blow dryer.

The place is packed down with beauty products. Although this place is primarily a women’s cove, I did manage to run into a small sections for men. The staff here is extra helpful.

I come here all the time...They treat me like royalty when I come dressed up with Nike or Coach and pick up my 200$ orders I have never had to pull my ID out they always say oh its not necessary...today I was not feeling well but ordered the new Juicy Couture Splash and went to get it on a whim with my mom (dressed in pajamas 😕) I go in and they first of ignored me then tell me I cannot pick my order up even tho I can verify all the info and also have the email. I go outside cancel the order and go back in to re-buy they again ignore me. I will not be back. Sephora here I come.

Its been years since Ive bought or done my make up so I was lost on what to get,the representatives at ulta helped me find exactly what I needed and wanted.love ulta and will definitely go again!

I love Ulta. They always have good deals for rewards members. I was recently in to pick up some new Redkin shampoo. I was even assisted by a store associate who was very friendly and helpful! My experiences are always positive when I come to this store.

I dont appreciate that you get followed around the store despite the fact you own a 5k ring and a 500 Coach bag, some assume youre there to steal, or they just racially profile you. Not sure why she followed me and my husband constantly but I know it was on purpose because every isle I went to she pretended to organize the shelves and she was actually looking at us constantly. Also, if I need help with something, Ill ask. No need to ask me 4x times not even 10 minutes of being there.

Just visited an Ulta store for the 1st time. Decided to go to the Merrillville location because it was close to home and wanted to shop local. The employees were rude and the lady at the door did not want to help. Very nasty attitudes! When I walked in they told me registers were down so I can shop but had to come back. That was no big deal for me. I wanted to come because I was looking for good makeup products to cover my acne. When I finally received help I was rushed and again the lady at the register was rude. Only one lady was nice and took the time to help and she works in the Clinique booth! She was the only one who was friendly! I wonder if I would have been treated nicer if I was in my suit by the other employees! You never know the type of people that come into your store we all have value! I was willing to spend more than the 120.00 had someone took time to show me different options of eyeshadows... etc! Maybe I will have a better experience at the Highland location. Very disappointed considering all of the inclusive efforts Ulta is looking to do!

Wanted to see how perfumes smell and couldnt because they dont keep samples out anymore because of covid but they still do makeovers with make up on people which to me would be cause for worry. Kinda senseless.

They had that Lash Princess mascara advertised on the news this morning and the store was well organized.

I literally just went in at exactly 7:00 just to buy exactly ONE THING and they proceed to kick us out and tell us to come back the next day, even though there are people still getting checked out at the registers and people searching for things on their shelves. are you serious? i literally just needed ONE THING that i could’ve easily grabbed and been out of there in under a minute. the customer service is terrible, and they’re not even willing to let someone inside to BUY your products even a minute after you close. if the door is still open, the store is still open.

If you love makeup this is where you should go.

Says on door face mask recommended- then we walk in and they say it’s required. If that’s the case put that on the door. 1 star because your playing into the hype. I will take my business elsewhere

Camille is an absolute sweetheart! She helped me find everything I was looking for, gave me suggestions on new things to try (that I love!), and made me feel extremely welcomed in the store. Cynthia did my brows and suggested new eyebrow makeup that I love! 100% would go back to this store just to see these ladies again!

Staff was rude at the register and no one was on the floor to ask questions. Actually sad I even gave them any of my money wish I had shopped online

Very disappointed at my hometown Ulta beauty store. The lady’s there seemed as though they did not want to work. I asked for help and she did not say one word to me she just showed me the palette and left. As well as checking out the cash register lady slammed my palette and did not greet me with “did you fine everything alright?” She just asked if I had a number to give for rewards and that’s it. Their customer service is beyond horrible. I felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

Staff is very friendly and informative. Store is clean and well organized. I will be back

Out of stock of items my daughter needed

Assortment of shampoos, mouse, hair spray, hair dye, hair decor, brushes, combs, headbands, to different makeup brands, to a hair salon, and finally to small hair electrical curling irons, to the newest hair gadget on the market. This is the store that has it all! It is a little girls delight! It is a big girls favorite store to select her makeup for a special date!

The deals were great and I was helped by 3 employees. No one judged or were sassy like at Sephora. Everyone seemed genuine and knew what they were talking about. I was switching to cruelty free skincare and was educated on a new brand that was inexpensive. I was shade matched for foundation and concealer. Even the cashier was nice. Definitely a breath of refreshing air!

From my experience, this location carries more products I want than the one closer to my house. Everyone is really friendly and super helpful. Pricing is fair and the product quality is great.

The workers dont seem to know much about their merchandise, the worker who helped me literally had to look up on her phone if we were looking at the rite product. Plus high prices for stuff you get cheaper every where else.

Was surprised havent been there in a long time. Research and know what you want. I had a screen shot thankfully as even the staff had a hard time finding it. Price with discount matched anything on line.

Today I spent an hour in the store shopping. Couldnt fine items that were advertised in the new catalog. The sale started today and half the items werent shipped to the store. All the free items were not available. If you signed up for the credit card you should get a free bag of goodies and that wasnt in stock either. However the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I left two dollars worth of items on the counter and left with only a mascara. Maybe next time I go they have their sales ready.

I have a severe allergy to something found in most beauty products and they spent a TON of time finding things I could use. They will even sit you down and find the right shades to match your skin tone. I love their cheery attitudes too! Great deals sometimes.

I have been a customer at Ulta Salon for seven years and love my hair stylist Carolina, as well as many of the other stylists. I am in weekly for a blow out, color or trim. I also purchase majority of my beauty products here. I accidentally left in a hurry without paying my tab and called in an attempt to pay over the phone, they could not accept payments that way so I came in person today to take care of it. I have NEVER been treated so poorly by management. The manager Emily rudely made a statement in front of customers that “I need to pay the day of service” obviously I’m aware and tried doing so over the phone once I realized I forgot to pay. She then said I’d have to get back in line although I’d already waited in line as well as for her at the front desk. I have been in the service and sales industry for 20 years and was taught to value my customers not degrade and embarrass them. In my opinion Emily has no place in management and I hope to never have to deal with her again. The other new manager is awesome. Emily learn to smile.

My moms first visit and the salesperson was lackluster at best. She expected this great experience based on what shed heard from us. She wanted a new blush. We found one, but the Ulta guy was zero fun. No enthusiasm.

Curbside pickup was quick. I ordered online and within 1 to 2 hours my items were ready. Just had to call their number and within 2 minutes was leaving!

Its a pretty good store. Its clean, staff is friendly for the most part, and things are organized well. No real complaints other than there doesnt seem to be enough staff. Its always hard to find a worker in this place, and the girls foundation matching is very iffy.

I came in trying to find a particular highlighter color for a cosplay. The staff was amazing. Spent lots of time trying to help me find a color that would work. She didnt hover! Shes show me things let me think then come back with another idea. Loved the selection as well.

I visited the benefit bar to get my brows done. Cynthia was very professional and friendly. When she was done with my wax and tinted I was extremely happy.

Krysten helped me find what I needed by going to the back to check and see if they had any extra inventory back there. She was genuinely excited to find that they had the curling iron I wanted and she was super sweet and accommodating! Her coworker was a newer employee and was also very nice

This is one of my favorite store to go shopping at for all of my makeup! Once you become a member, they give you all kinds of free gifts, coupons, sales, birthday gifts, sales items, exct. The ladies that work there are so knowledgeable & helpful! They also have work shops there! Its exciting and fun to go there! They will let you try a few things out! Just ask!

Elaborate selection but prices are super high. You will be able to find almost every current beauty trend on hand and their return policy is very liberal. Making trying new things easy with no buyers remorse. Signing up for their Beauty Rewards is a must. Especially if you intend to continue shopping there. You gain points on purchases to redeem for cash off. That is all! 😉

Very willing to explain things and test them out for you. Usually has the new stuff in stock but not always.

I’m really disappointed in my recent Ulta experience. I asked for help in Clinique and the lady in white coat just walked away and talked with her friend that looked like she worked as a brand representative. Both were laughing and giggling for half an hour as I had to color match myself in a foundation. Are you kidding ? Thankfully another Clinique girl just walked in as I was getting ready to leave and asked me how my day is going and if she can help me. She had a unique name, Zora, and even helped me find a concealer in a different brand. And she was wonderful with my daughter. I can’t tell you how hard it is to makeup shop with a 5 year old. I wish I could give Zora 5 stars but that other Clinique girl really upset me.

I visited Ulta last week and the clinique representative was awesome! She took her time, explained each product, and assisted in establishing a great regime for my skin care and makeup routine. I am already seeing a huge difference in my skin. Thank you!

I went to get my makeup done and my hair curled. The woman that worked with me was very friendly, however I was not happy with my look. I wanted a natural look with a smoky eye and I dont think it turned out how I envisioned. She did ask me if I liked it but I would have needed her to completely redo it in order for me to be happy which I did not have time for. I do not have a picture as I was embarrassed by how I looked and wiped a lot off before I even checked out at the front. I have never gotten my makeup done at a place like this so I did learn that next time I will come in with a picture so thats on me. My hair turned out really cute though.

Snooty sales associates. When I expressed in the ABH palettes, she talked down to me and acted like I couldnt afford it. Sis, your eyeshadow is barely blended and your eyeliner was wonky at best. Dont have time for this :/Edit: she rushed away, saying she had to restock

I really like shopping at Ulta, but the recent expośe on their nasty habits have given me pause. I guess checking products before purchasing is the new norm?Update 4:21- I went and had my hair cut and colored here on the 14th of April. Amber (the salon manager) was a really great gal to talk to. Unfortunately she did an awful job cutting, coloring and styling my hair. The color was so off it wasnt even funny. The cut/style was so off even my husband said something. I really wish I hadnt paid and said more about it not looking right than I did. $150 to walk out unhappy is ridiculous. If you want great work go to A Day Away Salon and Spa in Ft. Wayne and see Rachel Morgan.

I went to Ulta in Merrillville/Hobart to see if one of the knowledgeable girls could help me with my under eye darkness. I was in luck. Lauren who works in Lancome had the knowledge that I needed! Lauren showed me a cream to camouflage my dark circles and decided to just give me a eye makeover. After applying the eye cream,Lauren applied a product that really camouflages the dark circles. I was amazed! The finishing touch was the blush! I couldnt believe how much younger I looked with my mini make over. Lauren was so sweet and explained how I could repeat this look at home. I bought those products and soon Ill be looking for Lauren for the right eye shadows for me! Thank you again Lauren, you made this senior citizen so HAPPY!!

You wont leave here empty handed. They always have what I am looking for, and many times, they have them at a great price.

I had a staff member help me, unfortunately I cant remember his name, but he was very nice and helpful with finding a color match for a foundation and it was a good match. Never have an issue when I go.

Was not greeted or even acknowledged at this store. I refuse to spend my money at a place that lacks customer service skills.
