We went there over a week ago to get wedding rings cleaned. I also inquired about purchasing an additional band to my wedding set. The employee that took care of us said that she would get back with us for the pricing and I never heard back from her. Then I called back this past Saturday to follow up and once again told that someone would call me that day and still nothing. This store has poor follow up skills. I will reach out to corporate office to see if I can get assistance.

Customer service was horrid. Was ignored due to coming in wearing my gym clothes then told sorry only two employees your bridal set is here but we would have to check it in wanna come back another day after setting up my whole engagement plans the lady was to lazy to open my box Ill never shop here again this was disgusting let alome the stained up floors and dirty cases I will be sharing this experience with everyone .

I walk into the store today 10 /17/ 21 Is to purchase a 24 year anniversary gift with my wife to stand at a counter and listen to the store manager have a 13 minute conversation with someone regarding her personal life while we were waiting to get served this is the worst customer service Ive seen in 20 years please take your business somewhere else

I truly regret purchasing my ring from here. Their customer service is beyond rude and unhelpful. If you walk in and have to deal with Nicole, I would highly suggest taking your business elsewhere!

Still waiting for my wedding ring to come in it has been 4 weeks and when I called to ask about delivery they said ok it is going out tonight and will be here by tomorrow and then when I called today the lady had a Attitude and was like I can’t tell you what time they’re delivering but your husband can use his discretion and come in and see OK I paid 1400 for this ring my husband did and you’re screwing around with my money I will never purchase from Zales in south lake mall again

It’s almost sad that I have to give a star because they deserve zero. Apparently they don’t realize their in the customer service role and think it’s ok to be rude and disrespectful towards their customers. Should you shop there after reading this I would avoid Nicole as she is as rude and disrespectful as they come. Please don’t help put money in peoples pockets who treat their customers like garbage.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Today I went into the store and asked to place an item on layaway. The sales lady (elderly red-head) told me I could not put the item on layaway because if I placed it on layaway and did not get it out, I was stopping someone else who wanted to purchase the item from being able to purchase it. I told her that didnt make any sense and she just shrugged. I called their customer service online and was given an apology. This woman needs to be fired! The item could have been placed on layaway and she denied that option to me because she assumed I was unable to purchase an item that was on sale for $181.30. How rude and disrespectful!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I would give them no stars if possible. Experience took place 1/21/21 around 5-6pm.I have been ring shopping for months to upgrade my engagement ring and wedding band. I ordered a 5.5 and received a 6 and 6.25 from their website.When I took it to the store nearest me (Merrillville,IN) I was shocked at how unfriendly the staff is there. The ladies did not greet us when we entered. No one smiled once. They did apologize on behalf of Zales for the mix-up. They were basically just standing there, not offering any suggestions. The workers were not as presentable as I would expect and the store is very dated... Rather ghetto.Needless to say, we returned the ring and went across the street to Jareds and OMG! HUGE difference. They treated us incredibly well. I ended up building a custom ring through them, even spending more money (that Zales could have benefited from had their workers shown any interest in selling anything or helping me at all!)I would not recommend Zales to anyone! Even their customer chat support on their websites was unfriendly. We had been to JAREDS 9 years prior and had a great experience then too at the Merriville location next to the mall. They arent pushy and offer more services... free cleanings and more. GO THERE! I cant express how awful our experience was both times we have tried Zales.... I got my original wedding bands from them 5 years ago and the staff at the Lafayette, IN location was just as worthless and unfriendly.

Was quickly greeted by two employees who were as nice as they were knowledgeable. I needed help with polishing two pieces of jewelry and without hesitation they grabbed both pieces and cleaned them for me! after doing a great job they provided me with a few tips and tricks to keep an everlasting shine. they expected nothing in return.. honest and highly recommend!

I ordered a Mothers Ring with custom birthstones. They didnt have it available to see at the store, but were able to pull up a picture online of how it would appear once it arrived.Picture showed a blue stone, which was completely misleading.Perhaps we were working with a salesperson who didnt know they were selling us an item we didnt want. Or they were just trying to get a sale. No idea.I let Zales know about the problem through the website and never heard back. Least professional sales experience Ive ever had.

We went into Zales Saturday morning to check out a ring we saw online. We were NOT greeted or even acknowledged. Noone asked if we needed help on the pieces we were looking at. Poor customer service, but we did find a BETTER bargain at Alberts along with free candy, flowers, and meal voucher ♥.

Gave a lady 262$ she put 162$ in for my payment, no receipt. Called, there was nothing they could do. Told them my ring was a marquise, three stones and the third stone was very yellow prior to the other two diamonds. They pick low quality diamonds and throw them anywhere. Cheap quality, high priced.
