Two of my good friends and I attended our first Sunday Afternoon Tea Salon this past Sunday 9/19/21. The set up inside was so cute and we each got different teas to start. You get your own pot too so there is plenty to share! The menu was exquisite starting off with chilled heirloom tomato bisque with prawns, followed by fois gras and olive tapenade roulade pastries. The fois grois came with a size of champagne black tea jelly that was to die for. The desserts to close out the meal were a choice of a pistachio or dark chocolate filled macaron, sugar crystal chouette pastry and some amazing kind of cookie that has nuts mixed in, possibly hazelnuts but whatever it was, it was delicious!Isabelle and Chef Alexandre provided an amazing experience in an authentic place. I cannot recommend this experience enough. We were also able to buy even MORE pastry after so I went home with pistachio and almond croissants. Do not miss out on one of these Sunday experiences but please support this wonderfully authentic and small run business because you get a lot of bang for your buck. Merci beaucoup Isabelle et Alexandre!

My husband and I brought our two best friends here for the very first Èpicure they hosted on Sunday, 9/19/21. It was amazing! We honestly did not know what to expect, but the tea infused dishes were incredible. There were only 8 customers total dining for the event so it felt very intimate. The teas were fragrant and tasty and all in all, it was a wonderful way to help our friends celebrate their anniversary. We would definitely be interested in trying the other tea salons they offer. Their baked goods on any normal day are great already, but the salons are definitely a very unique experience!

We were at Cremeux first thing on Saturday morning and we so happy we made the drive up from Mass. The croissants were amazing, possibly the best I have ever had (and I have had a lot of pastries in a lot of places). The coffee was wonderful and the staff nice. We loaded up on pastries and chocolates and had a wonderful experience.

A little taste of Paris, right here in Merrimack, NH. We are truly lucky to have this gem of a bakery in our back yard. The sounds, aromas and tastes take me back to boulangeries and patisseries Ive visited in France and Switzerland. This is the real deal here. Go early though... they sellout quickly!

I have been wanting to visit this little slice of French paradise for far too long and I am so glad I made it in to the patisserie today. I am a high school teacher and I have traveled to Lyon, France three times over the course of the last four summers for an exchange program I chaperone. Not getting to go this summer because of Coronavirus was heartbreaking and I have been missing French pastry for far too long. Getting to converse with the chefs mom who graciously greeted me at the pastry case made me feel right at home. It is clean and beautiful inside. Right away the tarte tatin and the tarte boudaloue caught my eye because when you can’t choose just one, why not get both. It was such a great experience and I cannot wait to go back! A la prochaine!

Not sure Ive ever used the word divine when referring to food, but its the only word I could think of as I was enjoying some of Cremeuxs strawberry basil pavlova, pistachio millefeuille, orange blossom macaron, kouign amann, butter croissants, and Leonidas chocolate yesterday (and this morning....). It certainly takes much work, skill, care, and talent to produce items of such high quality; eating them is magical. Beverages are also excellent, packaging is superior (and recyclable), and customer service is always outstanding. Also, the seating is comfortable at the few small tables both inside and outside (outside seating is equipped with umbrellas, which are much appreciated).

I dont know where to begin. I wanted to order a special birthday cake for a family member. Isabelle was extremely helpful and responded so quickly to all of my emails. The cake selection was difficult because everything looked and sounded delicious. I ended up choosing the Fraisier. Being from Europe originally, its been difficult to find cakes that bring us back to that time and place. Cremeux has changed that completely. I dont think I can ever buy another cake from a different shop again. My one and only complaint would be that I was mad at myself for not picking up my order earlier. I know that I missed out on some other fabulous options because I went close to closing time. For anyone looking for an authentic French treat, this is it!

Finding a great french bakery is this area has been a challenge but not anymore. The food here is as good as youre ever going to get it. This is 10/10 French Bakery.I ordered 1 of everything from the case so I could be sure and each dessert was amazing. The pistachio eclair is beyond words for how good it is and the vanilla one sets a new standard for Eclairs. That is the single best eclair Ive ever eaten. I would drive 100 miles for this and not even begin to feel like it wasnt worth it.The croissants are all good and Id say the Almond croissant is likely the best croissant Ive eaten period. The butter is well above average and the pain chocolate is solid. I thought the chocolate wasnt well distributed but this is my only real criticism. The complaint here is like what you see on cooking shows. This is the best food youre going to get so even if its not perfect youre still going to be incredibly impressed. Get two, yes two and thank me later. The sourdough /pain levain really worked for me. Having lived in San Francisco I wouldnt say its comparable but its a good sourdough. Great crust and so soft inside. My kids who didnt like the sourdough in SF loved this one.My only caution would be go now. The store is fairly small and the food is amazing. Once the word gets out the lines will be long and that will be difficult. Controlling the flow and demand will be very challenging but if they do it this is a game changer for this area.. I would still go and wait but that may not work for everyone. One of my pictures shows a box that has shifted a bit. But that was it. Everything survived perfectly intact and not all over each other. Even the boxes here are awesome.

You don’t get anywhere closer to Paris than at Le Crémeux. Having spent 2 years in France, the pastries and bread are something quite extraordinary. Used with organic ingredients shipped from France (flour & butter), this enables those with a gluten intolerance to eat, for example, their sourdough, which is amazing! From croissants to macrons to creamy moussed concoctions, this is definitely the place to go. And while you’re at it, grab a hot chocolate or café au lait or latte to go!Félicitations to Alexandre (proprietor and baker) and his mother and front end manager, Isabelle, for bringing France to Southern New Hampshire. On vous remercie!

My sister and I visited Crémeux for the first time a few days ago and were blown away! I couldnt stop talking about my experience the whole rest of the day! Although, perhaps that was due to the fact that I enjoyed a delicious (full caffeine) Crémeux coffee made with beans imported from France!? Ive always loved the French language and culture but havent yet traveled to France. The closest Ive come was in my travels to Québec, which was absolutely incredible. Theres something about the French culture that always leaves me wishing I were immersed in it every day. Unfortunately, I havent been able to find any place outside of my travels to Québec that really gives me the feeling of an authentic French experience. That is, until now! Immediately upon entering « la pâtisserie » we were greeted by the heavenly aroma that I cant really describe but have only ever experienced in other high-end pastry shops in Québec. Authentic French music was playing in the background. We were immediately greeted by a lovey woman who turned out to be the mother of the owner and pastry chef, Alexandre. We made our way to the pastry case and marveled over the incredible works of art before us. We were told about all of the steps Crémeux takes to provide an experience that is as authentically French as possible, from the ingredients they select, to the products they import, to the music they play, etc. Even the owners are authentically French! And the pastries? Absolutely incredible! We each bought an assortment of macarons and pastries. I had to try the coffee since it was from France. It was very good and a perfect complement to my sweet treats. When it came time to pay, I was very surprised that I hadnt actually spent more. That is, everything seemed very reasonably priced. Well be back again very soon! We love Crémeux and will definitely be regulars! I cant wait to see what Ill try on my next visit! Itll definitely include some of the Leonidas chocolates imported from Belgium. Did you know, they are also the official chocolatier of the Belgian royal family? Merci, Crémeux, for making your home in our community and sharing with us Francophiles a little piece of the authentic French experience!
