Company doesnt do one-off or time and materials based projects and only provides services for customers with subscription based alarm monitoring agreements is what I was told.Would not recommend as a new customer

This definitely is the company to use for home security. They are local, polite, and professional. Jeff, the owner, is awesome. They use top of the line equipment, they know what they are doing, and if you need help after the installation they are a phone call away with no waiting. Its nice to know that I can get someone on the phone if I have questions. I totally recommend this company. Oh, and they use one of the best monitoring companies in the country.

Bulwark Home Security did a fantastic job helping me transition my business from a previous company to theirs. They were on time for their evaluation, in which Jeff spent over an hour helping me evaluate the issues that I was encountering.Once I decided to go with them for a new DVR and security camera setup they scheduled my installation within 2 days and the day after the installation Jeff came out again to review all the system settings with me and ensure I had online access to my cameras.A+ service and would highly recommend them to any other interested home or business owners!

Bulwark is a great local company. Theyve been our go to home security provider for a couple years. If weve ever had any questions that the workers couldnt answer, it will get escalated to the owner, who takes time to get personally involved and offer great customer service. Ive even met the owner when he came out to our house and installed us a top notch home security system. Very satisfied!!!

I just had my home security installed. I researched MANY MANY companies and found Bulwark Home Security. I found that even their TOP monitoring pricing plan was still lower than all others. I read all the reviews and found that it was a locally owned company. I made a call and spoke with a receptionist (Trish - sweet lady!), NO RECORDING! I let her know I was interested in a home security. She said she will get Jeff to call me right back. Jeff called within the next three minutes. I let him know why I contacted their company. He also let me know that they can use the existing sensors and wiring that is already installed in the house! Most companies want their OWN proprietary wireless sensors that needs battery changes every so often, which is yet another unnecessary overall cost of ownership. Jeff and I discussed the prices. I asked him if he had a payment plan that allows me to pay for one year all at once. He said yes AND there is a 10% discount if I do this. He let me know that someone can come out the next day and get it all installed. I quickly jumped on that offer! This is when I met Dwayne. He came over right at the time stated from Jeff. Since Dwayne had been in the home security installation business for over 20 years, he knew exactly what he was looking at. He quickly got to work and installed an entire new computer board, wired up ALL the sensors for all windows and doors, then tested EVERY one to make SURE they all communicated with the new system. He installed two new keypads and even a new motion sensor. He took his time in explaining the entire system to us in great detail. My wife took notes to make sure we remembered the important information. He cleaned up his work when he finished up. This company is batting 1000!! I cannot give this home security company higher marks!!! If you are looking for a home security that is NOT going to break the bank, use Bulwark Home Security!!!

I used them for 3 years at one home, then when we moved I contacted them and used them for almost another 3 years. My husband retired and we were changing things to lower our monthly bill so looked into alternatives. I called to cancel this service and was told I had signed a contract for 3 years. Now, when we moved in there was an alarm system, but the installer said theirs was better and it was only $100 to install. Its my fault I didnt pay attention but THATS what locked me into a contract. Long story short I had to buy out of the contract. SORRY I will NEVER do business with a company that would not waive $37 after taking my money for almost six years! Also had an issue with the service the two times the alarm was set off by accident. More than one person called from the same place... they dont communicate with one another. What a shame to take my money for so long then have no concern for me and my situation. Monitoring costs the company next to nothing and the small amount could have been waived to keep good will with a long time customer.UPDATE after posting as a one star review the owner offered to refund the money and apologized so I decided to be fair and up it to 3 stars. Lesson learned watch what you sign as I thought it was just a monitoring agreement otherwise would have never changed out the equipment.

My house was burglarized in July and I had Bulwark out for an installation the next day. Having this system gives me peace of mind, and everyone Ive dealt with has been so nice.
