Ordered some products that were supposed to be in in 2 weeks. Called after 1 month, left message, heard nothing. Kept calling, never heard back from them. After 2 months I went to store and see whats going on. Canceled my order as items still werent in and was charged a restocking fee! There was nothing to restock as items still werent in yet. How do you restock something thats not there? Terrible experience! Avoid this place! Shop elsewhere! Same employee both times just rude! Zero professionalism!

I don’t recommend working with imperial. We ordered tile and was not told it was considered “custom” - not a problem except when they give us two boxes of smashed tile upon pick up. So no problem they offer to replace since observed prior to placing in our vehicle, right? Wrong. They’re still have not provided the tile 3 weeks later and we still cannot finish our project (shower). So we called them and let them know we would like to just receive a refund for those two boxes because we found other tile to use to complete the shower and they said nope. “Sorry custom order nothing we can do, you will have your tile 6/18. It is now 6/19 they still do not have our tile and this is the third date they’ve given us with no call of delay so we have had to cancel workers multiple times last min. Do your self the favor and choose another tile company. They have no interest in treating paying customers with respect or providing solutions. They just get upset at you when you question what’s going on and why they cannot provide real answers or solutions.

Experienced very rude behavior with customers. We bought 2 pallets of marble tiles. 7 tiles were completely broken, and 17 tiles had cracks or some damage (chipped corner) . When we went to exchange them, sales person was very rude. They exchanged only 10 and we had to buy other tiles at higher price. Once you start the project, you are at the mercy of the store. Overall very bad experience.

Friendly, knowledgeable and packed with deals. I remember going here as a kid when my parents updated their house. Now Im updating my new place and Imperial wholesale is still the place to go. Even if youre in the west side its worth the drive to AJ.

I wish I could give Mandy Kegley seven stars. Im not a tile expert and I dreaded shopping for tile and really did not know what I wanted, much less what I needed. Mandy set our minds at ease with her knowledge, patience, and super can do attitude. No matter how many curve balls we tossed at her, she always worked out a solution that made us feel good.Mandy gave us so many great ideas! Mandy is not a salesperson, shes a people oriented consultant who knows how to listen. When we made out selection of tiles she went even further explaining everything my contractor would need and she was right on the nose and she not only is responsible for my new beautiful bathroom, she actually saved us $$$$!!!Ty, the guy who loaded up my SUV, was so nice and friendly. He would make a great next-door neighbor. He, like Mandy made sure to thank us and invited us to come back any time or call if we need help. I feel like I have known them both for years! I wouldn’t go back. Nothing “wholesale” about it, most of what they had can be found at the big floor store for less $$. The one thing they had that we liked was an expensive deco tile we decided to use for an accent. Long story short - we ordered it and had our whole project held up for several weeks due to their very poor customer service/back office. When we finally received the tiles 2 weeks late they were the wrong color. We received no apologies, no phone calls, and anyone we spoke with acted apathetic at best. It took us more than 3 weeks to get the correct tile and we had to chase them to correct their mistakes. If they say they’ll call you back, they will not. I gave 2 stars only because our sales guy was personable and it wasn’t his fault. Avoid this place unless you want an extra headache to deal with on your project.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! If you buy anything and need to return after 30 days, you will not get your money back and not be able to return. I got stuck with $400 flooring in overstock, that they recommended I buy for waste, and they refused to refund or even refund with a 10% restocking fee. Eric Poturalski has terrible customer service skills as well as Cody, who must be the store manager. Both were refusing to listen or accommodate even when they continue to sell the exact product I was trying to return. They just refused to return the product since it was over 30 days. I warn you not to shop here unless you plan on not needing a refund. Save yourself time and heartache and shop at Floor and Decor or another flooring/stone store. This one is terrible. Eric and Cody just had no desire to pride themselves in putting the customer first. Terrible business and I will not ever shop there again nor recommend them.

I just completed a full house remodel and purchased all of my flooring, bath and shower tile, and countertops from Imperial Wholesale. I dealt with Luke the entire time and he has been professional, fair, and trustworthy. First time at the actual store. Met a representive at the expo this past weekend and liked the samples of flooring and tiles. At the actual store you will be overwhelmed by the sheer inventory of granite slabs, floor tiles, wall tiles and back splash tiles, carpeting and wood flooring. The store that does not stop giving the customer hundreds and hundreds of choices. The folks there will help you choose and quote right on the spot as long as you have measurements. If you dont they will set up an appointment and have someone come out to your house or business and measure for you then they will prepare a quote and send it to you. One of the best all inclusive centers I have ever been to. Give them a look. You will not be disappointed.

I am so glad we chose Imperial to help us update our kitchen and bathrooms. When we walked into the showroom, we were like kids in a candy store! Im so thankful for the knowledgeable staff who helped us pull together the perfect counters, back-splash and floors to compliment each other. Once we picked everything out, setting up the installation was a breeze and everyone who worked in our home was professional and respectful of our time and our home. We were so impressed with Imperial, we are having them install carpet next week!

Good place to buy flooring. Good prices and friendly staff. Only reason not 5 stars is the store could use some organization. It’s a bit chaotic at times and wait time is lengthy when waiting for your products to be brought to the car...I would prefer just grabbing it myself if possible. However, not a reason to not go back. Overall very satisfied.

After I found out one of my boxes was missing 2 sheets of tile I went in but was told it didnt matter since I already signed for the tile. They had a great selection and most the employees were very nice however if you purchased tile here And they load up partially empty boxes they wont make it right and you will be left short.

It took me a month and a half continously bugging these guys with phone calls just to get my house measured.They would always say Yeah, well call you right back and they never did. I had to have them put my name in their computer about 8 times because I was never in there.FINALLY, after they measured my home, their quote to install my laminate wood was 2.5 times as much as the company I ended up paying.Oh yes, getting my wood. I had to have a special order done, they said it would take UP to 2 weeks for it to ship in. After 3 weeks, it finally showed up.From start to finish, I ended up having to work with these guys for three months before my wood job was completed.Short story, if you need a product, and they have it in their shop, go and get it, fantastic quality and price.For anything else STAY AWAY!

Ordered counter tops 4 months ago. Got a call they was on the way then a call that installers had them. Installer said no we don’t have them. Then get a call telling us we need 3 slabs which we didn’t 1 month goes by nothing. Installer swears they never got the ok time install from Imperial. Someone is a liar but who

I bought tile here before. I took my parents here hoping to find pre formed granite slabs. Instead we found marble ones. Unfortunately they broke while trying to pick one. They were no longer carrying these items anymore. We feared the easily breakable slabs and requested a refund. They were great and understood the situation. Too bad. We did buy tile here. They have a huge selection. Prices are decent. I will send my clients here.

I took a tile sample home which I had to pay for. When I brought it back there was no one available to give me my refund. I realize it was a small amount, yet no one seemed concerned. Apparently there is no one there who is able to give refunds except one gentleman who is always busy and nowhere to be found. I waited for 45 minutes and left without my refund. Silly me, I decided to give them one more chance, as I had heard their prices were fantastic. I decided to lay a vinyl product and bought the underlying material there. When the installation crew came to lay my vinyl flooring, I was told I did not need the material, so I brought the underlying material back. When I bought it I had to take it out to my car myself as there was no one available to help. When I brought it back, again there was no one there to help. I took the material back and put it exactly where I took it from. I could not believe they charged me a restocking fee. I realize this is their policy, (as it is written on their receipt), but maybe they should rethink it, since no one unstocked or restocked it but me, and I bought the material that I did not need because of their salesmans recommendation. I have absolutely no respect for this company.

Absolutely ZERO customer service after they screwed up twice. Once by not giving the client ALL of the carpet and the second by undercutting by 6 overall and an additional 3 in a corner! Not to.mention, the messed up corner was rolled to the interior of the roll so we didnt see it until the carpet was in Scottsdale being installed. Ive been waiting HOURS for management to contact me back regarding this unacceptable situation. We wont be going there or referring business anymore.

I was quoted $10,600 for LABOR ONLY (material priced separate) to tile 2 bathrooms totalling 367 square feet. Their competitor quoted me $3000. When I called to question this quote, i spoke with someone who was so rude and had the worst attitude. I did find tile that I loved at Imperial but I decided to buy elsewhere due to the worst customer service!!

Express Marble & Granite and Imperial Wholesale, AJI tried to write all the problems I had with both business, but Google wont let me write that much! Kitchen: wrong slab fabricated, wrong edge put on, sink didnt fit opening, they had the sink! sink moved 1/4 inch+ after hole size fixed. Destroyed a new kitchen cabinet. Bath: Hole in the bath sink cut 3/4 to the left. It goes on and on, do yourself a favor, think twice before you use either of these companies. It was a total nightmare, especially Express Marble.

They show items but then say they couldn’t help it if someone bought all they had - and then call it a “custom order” and will take 90 days and they want you to pay up front! They were rude to our contractor, us and everyone else at the counter And who called on the phone. Shop Elsewhere! Unless you want to be treated crappy!

I have an ongoing issue they are not working with me on trying to add things to a tile job they bid that took months to complete. Trying to add things to the bid after the fact. Very slow. Very difficult to resolve issues with.

CROOKS!!! Complete bait and switch! My wife called about 3 times over 3 months leading up to the date we decided to go ahead and get the measurements done and purchase. She kept calling to check the prices, because I kept hearing an ad on 92.3 for a sale on quartz, which is what we wanted. We didnt want a fancy color, just black, or maybe black with the speckels. We were told a price of $13.99 per square foot for material only. That was a great price, and was excited, seeing as we needed about 100sqft. Finally we tell them we want to move forward with this, as we had just heard the advertisement again for $43 per square foot installed (ad specifically stated measurements, fabrication, and installation), this was great news, as that should be, with basic math, about $4300 plus tax! They sent whomever the 3rd party company to measure, was told we would hear back from Imperial within 24-36hrs with the total cost. After almost 4 days without hearing anything, my wife decided to just call them. She spoke with Luke, whom turned out to be kinda a jerk to her. He looked up our info, and he said, GET THIS, the price would be about $7000! I was standing next to my wife, and she was floored. She then asked him to please elaborate how they could even begin to come up with that price, when we had just literally heard another ad on 92.3 stating $43 per square foot installed. He began to talk down and belittle her, as if she was unable to do simple math. She said Im not stupid, I can do simple math. So how did you come up with $70 per square foot? He then stated Well its simple math maam, $7000 divided by 100. She said yeah exactly, thats $70 per square foot, I just called the other day and the material was still $13.99 per square foot. So how our you trying to charge more for the installation only, then Home Depot charges for the material installed? He started, that she must be wrong, because they always beat Home Depots price. She said well Home Depot wants $56 per square foot, installed, so looks like you are having a problem with the simple math! Needless to say, we did not purchase are counter tops from Imperial. We ended up buying it at Aracruz Granite, for $11.54 per square foot, and paid about $28.50 per square foot for the installation. AVOID IMPERIALS BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS!

UPDATE:From 1 star to 3 stars: We recently purchased in-stock carpet for our living room and had them install it as well. We went in knowing the measurements of the area to be carpeted and worked with the sales guy Al, who was fantastic, picked out a remnant from the back room, paid for the carpet and pad and set up to have them install it. They preferred to come measure/see the area before providing the final quote, which was fine with us. Everything went as planned this time around. Like I said in my previous review, their prices and selection really are outstanding. But, I also stuck to my guns and went with material they already had on hand. While, again, their inventory/accounting system seemed a tab lacking (we had to inform them that we had already paid for the materials when they sent us the final quote) they updated everything accordingly and the installation happened as planned. We were pleased with this more recent experience and thats why I upgraded my review to 3 stars from 1.I cant dispute the great prices and impressive selection. I found the tile for our home reconstruction after a mini flood that I loved and at a price that beat most online suppliers I could find. However, like other reviewers we are having a HORRIBLE time with customer service and finding out where our tile is.We placed, and paid in full our special order tile and were given an ETA on delivery of just 2 days. Great! Well, what was a 2 day delivery has turned into over 2 weeks. The first 2 times my husband called to find out when the tile would be delivered we were told they didnt know and couldnt find out. I called the 3rd time and told them I wasnt going to take an I dont know answer; that they had to have some way of tracking an order shipment that had been paid in full. The sales guy said he wasnt sure why we were told they could not provide a date of delivery and looked it up. He let me know the ETA on delivery was now another week out bringing us to 13 days for delivery.The day the tile was supposed to arrive, my husband went to get more grout and find out what was going on with the tile delivery. When he arrived at the store, he was told the system said it was scheduled to arrive that day but had not shown up yet. But...there were more trucks coming so our order could be one of those. But they didn’t know for sure. This is clearly another situation and more evidence to the fact that they, or maybe their inventory tracking systems, are incapable of actually tracking an order. Or maybe it really is their suppliers, maybe it is the freight lines, but really, I wonder how its possible for commercial freight carriers to know when items will be delivered within a few hours, and somehow the suppliers Imperial use dont know when material will be delivered. Makes me think there is more to the story. I have to wonder if even though we paid our freight charge they are waiting for a full order until they place the order with the manufacturer/supplier without telling us? Or maybe their supplier had legitimate issues and they are stringing us along because they dont want to have to deal with restocking? Or maybe it is just plain staff laziness and not wanting to do their job to find out whats going on? Regardless, we are now past said delivery date with no tile having arrived and their system still showing an ETA of a day that has already passed. No one seems to know where our tile is.I’ll give them the “great selection at great prices” sales pitch. It’s true, but it would be an understatement to say their inventory tracking systems are inadequate. And it would be a gross misrepresentation to say their sales people can provide accurate information on estimated delivery dates or current progress of freight in transit. I will only buy materials from them again when they have what I want in stock and ready to go without having to order anything. Otherwise the few dollars we save isn’t worth the hassle of dealing with the run around.

Great Place - This is not a big box store - they will not hold your hand and tell you how pretty you are. If you need your ego massaged or someone to tell you how great you are skip this place. Come here - pick out some tile and go. Big Box Stores may give you more attention but you will pay three times the price at Home Depot and Lowes. It is a great place to pick up high end tile at budget prices. We have purchased tile there many times. The tile we bought today was $4.99 a sqft at Home Depot - here just $1.97sqft. Like any true wholesale house if you see something you like be ready to buy as their stock constantly changes. If you need it installed, find your own tile guy, have the installer measure and go find the tile you want. This is not a box store that wants to hear about your family, holiday plans and other nonsense. Most wholesale places like this are closed to the public so lucky they let us in on the deal. When you find something you like you pay and they load it up into your car for you. From experience you will save 50%+++ or more using a local tile guy and buying your own tile from here. The project we bought tile for today was going to be $6,450.00 via Home Depot. Using a independent tile guy and tile we purchased here today our project will cost around $3,500.00.

I am writing this post in as nice a way as possible. Let me start at the beginning, my wife searched for the better part of 3 months, trying to find a nice wood looking tile to compliment the wood looking tile we have in our kitchen. Finally she found a nice 9X36 tile that was absolutely perfect. My wife got 4 pieces from a nice guy by the name of Paul and brought them home to look and compare. Perfect. We took the sample pieces back and a woman named Jeanice, helped us place our order. We gave our her invoice for a credit on the samples and stated that we needed 544 Sq. Ft. of the 4 sample pieces we brought back. She placed the order and offered a sealer to mix with the grout, 25$ a gallon, we agreed. Paid for our order and left. A week later our installer picked up the order in Mesa and brought it to our house and started his install. We are not tile installers and came home to the tile starting to be laid in the middle of the floor, which I found out, to be normal. Did not walk on it as we did not know if it was dry. Saturday came and the tile job was completed. My wife came home and was checking it out and she realized that the tile looked to narrow. The tile was only 6 wide. She called our installer and said that was what he picked up. She got out our invoice and behold, Jeanice had ordered the 6X36 even with our return invoice and the 4 sample pieces right in front of her. We went down to the store where we ordered the tile and Jeanice stated, I cant believe I did this, ordered the wrong tile. She told us she would contact the GM Bill and let him know and have him contact us and then was quick to point out that after tile is installed, there are no refunds or exchanges. I attempted to contact Bill several times and he was always in a meeting, headed to the other store, cant come to the phone. I left my number at least 7 times. I finally got a call from Bill today and was told there was nothing to be done since it is installed. I offered him 2 options for resolution. Which he denied. Will post after resolution.
