I had bought gift cards for Christmas and when i was putting the gift cards into an envelope i read that the gift card could only be used at the sephora in jcpenney. worker never even disclosed that information to me when buying them. i went back the next day to try and return, and told me there was nothing that they can do and that the worker should’ve told me. like okay? thanks for nothing and also note that the employees and manager were insanely rude about the whole situation.
I was going to purchase perfume there but when I grabbed the bottle to smell the lady with a strong accent ran to me to stop me from touching it, the way she panicked was very embarrassing. She told me she would spray the perfume for me but went to the register to chat with her coworker and this time I had to ask for her assistance. So why not go around the whole store watching what everyone picks up and puts back down and wipe those items? Just doesnt make since. I obviously went to a different store (not Sephora)and purchased my perfume and will not go to Sephora ever again for anything!
I’ve been here numerous times and I always have a good experience. I stopped by Last night to try to find a foundation that would match me and would wear well for me skin type. Crystal helped me find exactly what I was looking for she was patient and suggested different things and we tried a few different products. She also gave me decent size samples after I checked out. like I said I’ve never had a bad experience but she was so nice and was very attentive and didn’t give up until We found something that worked for me. I am very happy with the products I purchased and wanted to recognize the employee that helped me and hope there were more people like her in retail. THANKYOU!!
I loved my first experience here. Even though it was busy, I was greeted shortly after entering the store. The store is well maintained and clean. Everything looked beautiful. Hannah is the beautiful young lady who helped me. She was super knowledgeable and helpful and I plan on coming back to pick her brain some more. Definitely recommend this location.
Very attentive service. Huge selection of high end beauty items. Love this place.
My experience was the best ever! I dont know what people are thinking giving this location a bad review but I went and it was fantastic. Juliet was amazing 😉 and everyone knows their make up skills. Overall, Juliet made my experience so easy and fun! Love this place!!!!
Even after reading the mixed reviews, I decided to give this Sephora a try. It is definitely the worst Sephora location Ive ever been to. I understand that its smaller than a stand-alone store and cant carry as much product. There is no reason or excuse for the poor customer service. One of the two associates was nice, which is why Im giving 2 stars instead of 1. The one at the register was quite unpleasant. Even after asking about free samples with my purchase, she did not offer me any.
Me and my mom came in to buy Fenty Beauty foundation and the girl that helped us was very patient. She tested multiple shades for both of us. She seemed exhausted but it was the end of her shift.
Id have to agree when people say that this location is GHETTO. Terrible customer service. Manager is all over the place. Staff needs better training. On top of all of that, i felt like I was looking at a bunch of clowns. You would think Sephora would hire people who actually know how to apply presentable makeup. Lets just say if i could give this place a 0/10, I would.
Okay, so I saw all the bad reviews it got and still decided to go for it. Hey why not we all deserve a second chance! I walked in and there was 2 employees a gentlemen and a lady. I was walking around the store for maybe 5-10 min and had yet to be greeted, even though Im standing right by them. Nice! After about 10 min, the guy comes to greet me. A little to late buddy! O but wait 2 other customers walk in and the lady greeted him right away! What?!!! Was it because Im Hispanic?!!! This is now BS! Not to mention the fact that the place is a COMPLETE DISASTER!!!! Filthy beyond anything!!! Id rather take my time and drive outtttt of my way and go to another Sephora where I can spend my money in a clean environment not to mention be greeted even though Im Hispanic! They should be talked to, seriously!!!! In my eyes and looking at all the reviews some of these employees are making this store loose sales! Just saying!
The older women with an accent (I know her name but wont shame her like she does the customer) does NOT belong waiting on the public..Some serious dissatisfaction with self going on, and clearly allows this to spill over on to the customer... Poor thing!GOOD NEWS--- This location has a Cool-Hip young woman named Samatha, she will go out of her way to help you!! Shes a gem!!
I went here a few weeks ago to buy a WHOLE NEW set of makeup and supplies. When I walked in I was NOT greeted by the one male employee. He didnt even look up. He was too busy chit chatting with a woman about personal stuff, loud enough we could hear the conversation. So I knew it was not like he was busy actually serving someone. I continued looking around the store which was absolutely FILTHY. It looked like a child ran through and played with all of the make up. After about 20 min of trying to find what I was looking for with no offer of help, all the makeup was empty and messy. When I realized I was not going to be helped or even looked at once as I wondered the store I just left. What a shame, you missed out on a big commission buddy.
They don’t give you accurate information about sales and make simple returns harder than it has to be.
Had to go to the check out counter to get service because no one was on the floor just chatting at the register. I asked for a sample of a $72 skin carw product. I wanted a sample and told the lady i didnt want to buy and return the product for fear i would either have a bad reaction because i have sensitive skin or would be too drying for my skin. I literally got a sample of HALF a small pump. This is barely enough to soak a q-tip. Note to self buy it and fill your own sample and return. Seeing the general review of this place... I remember why i go to Ulta. High end products apparently means stuck up employees.
I stop at this one often because it’s on my way home from work, but I think I’m going to have to go out of my way to go to a different one because the girls that work here are kind of rude. They seem very fake at the register & like they don’t want to be there. I work in customer service so I know, I know it can be rough but I’ve felt this way more than once at this store. Hope you can figure it out. How hard can your job be anyways? Toodles
My mom and I came to Sephora located inside JCPenny and was completely blown away by the absolutely amazing customer service given to us by Samantha. Not only was she knowledgeable about the products, but she was also nice enough to let me take a picture of her beautiful eye makeup she had worn today. In all my Sephora experiences, this was by far the best one yet. We will definitely return to this store for Samantha whenever we have an itch to buy makeup or skin care. Than you again Samantha for such a pleasurable experience
VERY good customer service!! i like these people and this store a lot!! greatest sephora in town!!
Horrendous experience . Used to shop here, but wont be returning. I was so humiliated when the older woman yelled at me because she thought I was trying a tester directly to my face. People started to stare and she snatched it away from me to get a new one. Never have I been so disgusted and shocked by an employees behavior. Do yourself a favor and DONT go to this location unless you want the saggy- faced woman to judge you the entire visit.
Horrible customer service. The girl had an attitude.I went in for a return because the foundation I was matched didn’t match. So I asked for help and she didn’t do much but picked a foundation lighter than the one I purchased and it still didn’t match my skin tone. She didn’t offer to test it on my on face but instead said ‘this should match. Anything else?’ So now I have to return the foundation a 3rd time! I won’t be returning to this Sephora location.
The place is a filthy mess where God forbid would never even want to try the samples for fear of catching something. They are under stocked, The girls working there, one identified herself as Breanna/Brianna?, were extremely rude and self-absorbed and more concerned with chair chatting amongst themselves and their phones than actually providing even the smallest bit of attention to their customers. Save your time and money and dont bother visiting this dump.
Ive gone to this Sephora in the past and it wasnt this bad at all but I guess there were different people working before. I felt so uncomfortable because every employee was watching me as if I was going to steal. The lady at checkout was also a mess and very rudely asked me for my beauty insider and rolled her eyes when I couldnt find my card. Before I left, I decided I wanted to sample a moisturizer and asked another employee for help( I think her name was Sienna) when I asked her to make me a sample she seemed annoyed and grabbed the moisturizer out of my hands without saying a word! I will NEVER come back to this Sephora ever again. Every employee I came into contact with were snobby and just plain mean. Take your business elsewhere, you wont regret it!
I went to Sephora today specifically to get matched for a Fenty Beauty foundation. I wasnt asked if I need help for about 5 minutes of standing by the section but there were a lot of customers in the store at the time. Eventually I got asked what I needed and Vanessa helped match me and answered a few other questions I had about recommendations as I dont know much about non drug store brands. She asked me if I wanted a sample and also suggested a sample of the Fenty primer as well. Ill definitely be back to this location to purchase the foundation if I decide I really like it.
This was my first time going to this location. I stood in the store for 10 minutes while 2 female employees ignored anyone else in the store. They wouldnt make eye contact while they were talking to a customer. Another lady was was waiting at the cash register for at least 5 minutes before having to go track down an employee. I was finally helped by a male manager who Im guessing was coming back from break. He was able to help me and I purchased my products in less than 5 min. Not going to this location again. Might just find my product online somewhere.
Today (9/16/17) I went in there to buy Rihannas new foundation and primer because I had seen such good reviews about it. While I was there there was 3 employees, two younger girls, and one alittle bit older. After rudely staring at me and giving me dirty looks for 5 minutes she asked me if I needed help and I told her I need to be matched with the Rihanna foundation and she asked me to wait. I waited until the lady at the makeup table was done with her customer. She matched me as my sister and friend continued to look around. While they were looking around the older lady said loudly to her other co worker watch them they are going to steal and followed us around the store the whole time. She was rude from start to finish. And then she made that comment towards the end. Made me want to put the foundation back and go to another location. I definitely wont be returning to this location. But thank you to the lady at the check out who was super nice and apologized for the older ladies behavior.
Great gifts for all your female friends
This was my first time ever visiting Sephora. I went in to find some eyeliner and after one of the employees told me they didnt carry my brand I decided to look for something new. After finding a Smashbox liquid liner I went to the counter to pay. The employee was rude and acted annoyed from the start. She asked if I wanted to sign up for the rewards card and I told her no, thank you. She rudely tried persuading me and again I said no, that I dont really shop there. Then she started talking to the other girl that worked there and mockingly said but youre here! Youre here! Thats the point and they both started laughing. Then she handed me my bag and said haha have fun with your eyeliner! Your 25 dollar eyeliner! It was so rude and condescending. That was first and last time I will ever go to a Sephora.
I guess I am not the only one who received bad customer service. 3 employees and neither greeted me or my sister. When I went up to talk to them since they didnt ask if we needed anything only one girl (Angelica) looked at me and told me to wait with a not so friendly look, so I did. We waited again and finally she came over, sampled one foundation for me and forgot about the other. I told her and she seemer bothered but did it. This Sephora 👎 AND the foundation samples she gave me werent even my tone. Anyways, we ended up going to MAC and the employee was AMAZIIING!!! Five stars to him!
They are so sweet and friendly here. They helped me purchase a foundation for my skin that worked.
Have the makeup and samples galore😘
Rude employees for no justification. I always feel unwelcomed here. Not coming back.
Pretty upset with Britlyn who also got me sick. Will be driving the 10 extra minutes to the real Sephora from now on.
I will shop at Sephora & pick out a couple items to either try new, replace a fav Im running low in my makeup collection, or browse the new inventory that may have came out recently and I missed during my last visit. The layout was left to be desired, with an abundance of foundations, concealers, and face product, with little skin care regimen easy to find. I have not been to this location @ Superstition Springs Mall. The JCPenny seemed very large was my first impression, and I will review in detail that store. Keeping it strictly focused on Sephora, a friend & I wandered the aisles aimlessly waiting for any Sephora employee to at least acknowledge that we were present. From what I could observe, there was only one other woman shopping there with her daughter around the age of 9. I never seen an employee so much as greet the other loner shoppers. I counted 6 Sephora employees that night and besides one girl who was busy cleaning makeup brushes, the other employees walked around sluggishly and I left after about 20 min without the greeting I had been anticipating. I will go to ANY other Sephora location opposed to this perticular store. I reinserted my $100 GC back in my wallet and frustratingly excited the store!
I love everything about this location the staff r are friendly...
I found the employees rude..no enthusiasm at all...will never return
Horrible Customer service, the cashier was rude and they didn’t offered to help while doing my shopping.
Always great customer service
Staff are always rude and not very helpful.
Nice
Employees were rude and unprofessional
Employees were very judgmental and kept following me and my friends around because they thought we were going to steal something and it made us really uncomfortable so we felt that we needed to by something so they would leave us alone.
Sucks terrible customer service and price
