This CVS store had a good variety of items, reasonable prices, and the staff here were very helpful. The store was clean and well-lit, and it had wide aisles. Glancing at the (many) one-star reviews, I noted that the trend appears to come from reviewers having difficulty with the pharmacy department here, so YMMV.

The manufacturer of my epilepsy medication was switched without my notification. Now I dont know how well this new manufacturer will work. Because of Walgreens Im left a chance with my epilepsy. Complete lack of oversight for their customers and their medical conditions. Theyre all about that money. Dont go here!!!

No one at the pharmacy ever answers the phone anymore. Ive been on hold for the last half hour and cant get through to anyone to talk about why my prescription has been on hold for over a week.

Every time I have gone to this store, the drive through is horribly slow. Even if one car is in front of you, it will take at least 10 minutes. They are not organized and frequently wander up and down the row over and over looking for the prescription. This place is such a waste of time.

I’ve never had much problems with this location until now. i needed a prescription i called ahead they said they would have it later the next day, i went in and it was not ready but they said it would be ready that afternoon.( a little annoyed but it’s okay) go in later that afternoon when they said it was not ready and it would be ready the next day.( kind of need the prescription at this point) went the next day and told me it will be there that afternoon, i went a little before they closed and IT STILL WAS NOT READY. told me it would be ready in the morning. this was kind of ridiculous and i’m very disappointed with the Service, and trying to get hold of them on the phone was a complete nightmare.

The store is clean and nicely maintained. I was able to find everything I need. I also like how in their beverage section, theres a lot of cool drinks and new flavors to try.Check out was speedy and the cashier lady was very friendly. She even reminded me about the extrabucks cash rewards that I earned.

Worst customer service ever!! If I could give zero stars I would. Came to pick up my prescriptions in the drive through and waited almost 20 minutes. Only one car ahead of us. Could not back up because there was 4 cars behind us. The person in front of use had a problem with their prescription and instead of asking them to pull forward while they fixed the issue like every fast food place on the planet they made everyone sit in line and wait. When I spoke to the assistant manger he just shrugged and could have cared less. I left CVS once because of their horrid customer service and now am forced to use them or the mail order for my prescriptions due to my insurance company. If you can at all avoid CVS I would highly recommend it. The Walgreens on Guadalupe and Ellsworth is wonderful, they actually care about their customers.

Their coupon machine is always either out of service or paper. I lost all of my coupons today as the coupon kiosk once again failed to print them. They wouldn’t offer you any discounts for the inconvenience that was totally their fault. The manager even refused to honor a manufacture coupon for $2 off of the $15 eye drops because they were out of the bigger size. Overpriced merchandise and poor customer service.

Set to have my prescription delivered. I was informed 3 hours late of my prescription being delivered and it’s temperature sensitive so I can’t use this fill. The cvs link said it was picked up to be delivered but when I clicked the link learned it had been delivered hours earlier. When I called to have a replacement sent since cvs is the reason I can’t use this fill the manger tried one thing and then was really rude to me and not helpful. No wonder all the cvs stores around here have such bad ratings. Switching to Walgreens or any where they can do their jobs correctly.

Horrible, horrible, horrible….I wait at the drop off window for 10+ minutes.I’ve now called 2 days in a row a total of 6 times.On hold for a total of about 2 hours over those 6 times.Answer the phone!!!

This CVS pharmacy is absolutely terrible. Hold times on the phone are 20 plus minutes. Staff members are rude and abrupt. It never has the prescription I need in stock and I always have to wait the next day and drive back. Avoid this place like the plague.

I go to this CVS because the staff is always friendly, kind and helpful. So are the staff in the pharmacy. Not only that but they help you quickly and go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. I usually can get in and out pretty quickly because they are always right there when you need to check out. Thank you CVS and staff, I’ll be back next time! Highly recommend!

We were formerly long time Walgreens customers. After more than a few poor experiences there we moved our pharmacy needs to CVS. The staff is always friendly and more than willing to help provide a suggestion if they can. At this point we are customers for life. There is no comparison in the level of customer service here. CVS has been top notch!

I worked with one cashier who was pleasant and we had a great conversation. Unfortunately you are only as strong as your weakest link. I worked with a older lady with blonde hair on Christmas day which refused to take my ID when purchasing beer because it was from Texas, her exact words were because it was an out of state ID. I heard her mumble to her coworkers when i approached the counter something about my appearance as I have several tattoos and gave my a dirty look.... I thought on Christmas at least could be one day I wouldnt challenged with someone as ignorant as her

5 stars because the cashier lady was lovely. The ATM is a credit union, but there was a fee of 3$. I thought CUs dont charge a fee. And there are accessible restrooms to customers. Isle 16, back wall!!

Had 2 orders for photos to pick up and one never printed or showed up. The store looked it up but never could find them. Called the 1800 number they looked up the order and said there was an error. Why did I get an email telling me they would be ready? I needed to have them asap and cant wait for it to reprint? No answers. Then proceeded to the pharmacy to pick up my prescription and then told they dont have it in stock. Nobody called me go tell me, I had called and spoke to someone to have it transferred from another store. The manager of the store just called me to follow up on a note that was left from the employee that tried to help me. The manager really said to me I have a note but i dont understand the problem the note doesnt make sense. Maybe your employee could write a note that makes sense instead of calling me like an complete idiot!

We requested a RX for insulin for my dog be transferred from another CVS. The first store happy filled the RX for a single pen (approximately 100$ per pen). This store flatly refused to do the same stating that we would have to buy a box of five (500$+). While this discussion was occurring the staff was rude and belittling to the teenage girl we sent to pick up the RX. Unable to obtain the RX or any answers my wife called and has never been treated so rudely. Finally i called, apparently if you ask for the manager or are a male they might actually answer your questions. Finally we resolved that the Vet could approve a change to insulin in vials, we contacted the vet and they agreed no problem. Six hours later and no contact from the pharmacy we called, multiple attempts to call left us on hold for extended times with no answer. Finally we were told the RX would be ready the following day....at noon. Again this is insulin, for our dog we love to death and we were told too bad we’ll just have to roll the dice on the life of our dog. Here’s the thing, i am A pharmacist. I worked for out patient pharmacies for 5 years and i have never seen such bad behavior, poor service, lack of empathy or respect. I know exactly how long it takes to fill a RX especially for something as basic as insulin. They just don’t care and this behavior is what is destroying what little respect the profession has left.

Big thanks to the day-time pharmacist on duty about two weeks ago who went above and beyond the call of duty to help my kid get the right prescription when her physician was out of town with limited communication abilities. Very good service. Thanks!

Usually, this location is amazing; however, today when I went to pick up my prescription, Emily was the person at the counter. Emily needs some customer service training. She didnt greet me, mispronounced my name after I said it, didnt apologize, gave only short, curt answers to questions, didnt say hello, good-bye, thank you, or any other kind of salutation. She was generally rude and unfriendly.

I carry one of those mini purse backpacks. When I walked into the store they said Id have to leave it at the door. It has my wallet, phone, water, inhaler, etc. in it. I left the store. I dont know how or why a pharmacy would force its customers to leave their belongings at the door. They were very rude and I will not be back.

I been coming to this pharmacy for years. This 2nd time they did not have my medication ready especially when I drop off my prescription the day before. Why ask when Id like to pick it up if they dont even have it ready when I say. The guy that came to the window today and said its not ready when would you like to pick it up? I said I dropped it off yesterday afternoon the pharmacist asked me when Id like to pick it up I said 12pm today. I was even a hour late. I said so what happened? He just said we can have it ready in a hour is that ok? He didnt offer me to wait to get it filled he just said it will take a hour. Very rude. The last time this happened I dropped it off two days before and the same thing I had to wait two more days and they couldnt tell me why it wasnt filled and never apologized for there mistakes.

I will never come to this cvs again. I received an amazon gift card for my birthday last week and wanted to use amazon cash to purchase a visa gift card and I came to this location to do it. When I walked in there was nobody at the register so I stood there patiently and waited. I heard an annoyed voice from behind me say “can I help you?” and I turned around and noticed it was the manager, and I asked her if they sold gift cards, to which she responded “um, yes.” I asked if they sold visa prepaid gift cards specifically and she rudely pointed to the back of the store and said “all the gift cards are back there”. I went back and picked one out and returned to the register to where another employee was going to ring me up. I explained to her what I wanted and that Amazon’s website stated that cvs was a participant in this and she said “oh yeah, let me ask how I do that.” And called the same short, blonde manager that had been so rude to me up to help her. She asked her if she could use my barcode for the gift card I chose and she flatly said “no”. No explanation, no policy on which one I could purchase, no nothing. She just stood there popping her gum and staring at me. I explained to her that the website clearly stated that they accepted amazon cash and she just kept saying “no” and blankly staring at me like I was a nuisance. I said “well, okay, I’ll go put this back then” to which she said rudely said no again, like I was going to try and steal an unpurchased, empty gift card. I’ve never, ever ever written a negative review. Ever. But this is ridiculous. I’ve been a manager at an establishment, and that is no way for a manager to treat a CUSTOMER. I grew up shopping at this cvs. My high school I went to is right next door. But it’s safe to say I’ll never come back here again.

I cant believe this day and age any customer service based job would allow such an ignorant and incompetent manager such as the one I just spoke with on the phone. Believe me, I understand how difficult and frusterating it can be to work with customers day in and day out and truly know that the customer is not always right!! While out running errands I decided to call this CVS (Guadalupe and Crismon or store 5814, cuz Im an idiot for not knowing that!!) to see what the return policy is so I could gather everything I needed before adding more work than need be. My grandma who lives in Idaho was visiting for a week and decided to get me a goody bag from this CVS for my upcoming birthday as she was leaving to go back to Idaho. With the bag she left the receipt and told me to take back whatever I didnt want and just get the cash so I could use it towards something else; world ending complications, right!?!?. Also working in customer service and having extensive experience in retail, I know this isnt a new or first time a situation like this would occur, enter Tonia. After explaining my situation to Tonia the manager, and asking her what the options were: in-store credit, money goes back on the card used for purchase, cash back?? Apparently this is a taboo issue for the CVS on Crismon and especially Tonia. Annoyed, Tonia rudely informed me that CVS no longer has a return policy and as she put it, All returns are subject to the managers discretion, and I AM THE MANAGER so bring it in and if I decide it is returnable Ill tell you what your options are!!! Reading that it doesn;t sound too awful, but unfortunately I cannot input her snarky, dissmisive, and seemingly bitter tone and attitude towards an incredibly easy and innocent question!! WOW Tonia, cudos to you, you have really made something of yourself!! The all mighty magic wand Tonia possesses shall ever determine the fate of all poor souls who need to return something.Im not a fan of writing reviews for negative experiences because we all have bad days and lets face it, people are A**Holes, which I am not exempt from. However, in this situation I was not the A**Hole and I was completely shocked and caught off guard by the poor, short, and rude communication by a so-called manager (which she made very clear she was just that) for something I thought would be so easy. Sorry if youre having a bad day Tonia, unfortunately there will be many more!! But in this situation, you were an A**Hole for no reason and as the MANAGER I really hope you dont rule the store, other employees, and customers as if you are the almighty because you have been given a little bit of authority. I came to CVS through the drive-thru as a first time customer at 8:45, right before closing. My daughter had strep and wed just left the Urgent Care. I was tired and my normal pharmacy was Walmart and I didnt want to drive there, deal with the parking lot, walk inside, wait there, deal with the parking lot again, and drive all the way home. (Why have I been doing it this way for so long?!?) I tried Walgreens first because its closer to my house but had a terrible experience! The guys at CVS were super nice and helpful even though I was new and they were clearly closing soon. I was in and out within 15 minutes, probably closer to 10. This is my new favorite!

The MinuteClinic here provided excellent customer service. I brought my wife by there on the way to a different urgent care that had mixed reviews, but I decided to ask the minute clinic if they treat the infection my wife has, and found out they do. There was no one else in line on a Saturday morning (Oct 24th), and the NP that works there asked my wife to come in right after signing in at the kiosk. It took around 30 minutes total and the NP had gotten a sample, diagnosed, prescribed, and provided the antibiotics, along with recommendations. Very friendly and extremely efficient. Also, there was no co-pay (as of yet) as we use Meritus, but I will wait until I get the bill to update this review.

Ive had numerous issues with this CVS Pharmacy and the one on Guadalupe and Sossaman from long wait times close to an hour still without staff answering! Id bring this issue up in person and get snide answers, from were short of help, were taking applications, to your Dr. Hasnt sent your prescriptions in, which has been shown a lie numerous times blaming it on their computer! Ive been delayed insulin for 6 weeks, test strips for 6 weeks, they no longer give reminders and go past all of my medications due dates, theyve really given up, though this has been going on for years, numerous times each and every month!
