Wow something different.. you must try this place .. delicious but outside the shop and parking lot need some TLC.. lots of garbage in my opinion someone needs to cleaning the parking lot so place look more welcoming ...

Super awesome ice cream place. The waffles are done well (I have been to too many places where they overdo the waffle that they are not fluffy on the inside anymore). The staff are very polite and willing to answer any questions. Will definitely be back to try other flavors.

Amazing! The waffles are incredibly good and also HUGE so come hungry! The White Tiger is my favorite but I dont think you can go wrong. If you want something a little bit less rich then my second favorite is the Purple Crow. Good vibes and good food, great place.

First time here. I was watching a YouTube video of Korean street food featuring waffles, and did a Google search and found out I didnt have to travel across the world to try one out! I got the Black Turtle. Really yummy! Have to come back and try the other flavors.

I went here last night with a couple of friends and it was fantastic! We each tried a different waffle/ice cream and shared, everyones was delicious and they were so pretty!! The service was also great! Matthew walked us through everything easy peasy and we will definitely be back to try the milk/tea! Thank you guys! Great Team! Awesome food!

Went here on a whim and it was such a great decision! This place is delicious and the dessert is so visually pleasing. The staff was very sweet and accommodating.If you have questions about the desserts, dont be afraid to ask.

Nice little Asian dessert place. Very good bubble waffles but not a huge variety. Same with the drinks, very limited selection but good.The atmosphere is very male oriented, computers and video games vs female atmosphere at places like miss dessert or even mango rabbit which is still mostly female but more balanced.The quality is very good but they are missing out on a demographic that will spend more on dessert.

Amazing dessert place with a great concept! Although the menu is small, the flavors they have are amazing and it gives you a chance to try everything. We went as a group and tried the one with ube, matcha, and red velvet. The waffle flavor is what changes (the ice cream is either vanilla or cookies and cream). The waffle is soft and fluffy and tastes GREAT with the ice cream. The HK milk tea is also good. Definitely give this place a try when you’re craving a gourmet dessert, you won’t be disappointed!

You know this is a great concept. I love the service and the atmosphere and all but just wasnt for me. I wish you could customize your waffle and toppings etc. I ordered the purple cow with my friend the other day and was just really bored with the ice cream. I almost wish i just ordered the waffle alone and not with all the bells and whistles with it. I was dreaming about ube ice cream from magnolia and adding it to the waffle to really make the waffle taste like ube. Ive grown up eating ube and for some reason the waffle just didnt sing ube to me. My friend and I definitely couldnt finish so we had to get our waffles to go. Toasted coconut shavings on the purple cow would have been much better too. Im just thinking about all of these things that would help out their waffles. Because its good just not memorable.

Best bubble waffles Ive had!

Anything with matcha green tea can be pretty tricky. But they nailed it. Not too bitter, just right. And Im a big matcha fan. The deserts are also not that sweet so you dont get tired of it easily. Well done! Also the place is cute! Especially for IG photos.

The guys here were super cool and took the time to explain their waffle flavors and even let me try Mochi since i never had it before.i had these delicious hong kong waffles back in NYC so imagine my excitement to find a place like this here. the waffles were super fluffy, ice cream & toppings were delicious. i can’t wait to go back with my staff! more people need to be made aware of this little gem.

Didnt let us sit inside which was fine. We picked a table outside and it was dirty with some bird droppings. So we asked if they would please clean it and they told us that we could sit around the fountain. 😒 Well, we can go somewhere else too.

We come to AZ often for vacation, and were ALWAYS trying to find new places to try. Im so glad my husband found this gem! While the menu isnt vast, it has plenty of options to try. I really had intended to try the matcha ice cream and waffle, but I ended up doing the seasonal pumpkin (called Orange Fox) and Im glad I did. It was AMAZING! So good that on our week long vacation I made my husband return a second time. It didnt take any convincing. He tried two different cones and loved both of them. I tried a bite of each of his, and still am glad I went with Pumpkin - twice. The waffles are made fresh (you can watch them do this), then they put in the ice cream and toppings. It is a small location, not a ton of seating. So if you have a large group be prepared for that. They have a ton of games in the back, Im assuming for customers to play. Although both times that we were in no one was using them. I will definitely be stopping back the next time were in the Valley.

My husband and I have been here twice now and love it!! Its right down the road, open late and everyone is super friendly. Plenty to choose from and the waffles are delicious. Weve made this our little date night go to place and are hoping to coordinate a car meet there in the future!

It has potential. The waffle cone was perfectly sweet and crisp. The marshmallow was toasted and delicious as were the toppings. It’s just the ice cream they used was cheap tasting, like the big 5 gallon tubs in the grocery store used for root beer floats. Kinda icy and not creamy.

First time! LOVED it. however bring your appetite as the waffles are big enough to share. The owner was welcoming and help us decide on which waffle to try. we will be back!

Take every ice cream in a waffle cone youve ever had and multiply it by 10. That might come close to how amazing these are. The owners are very pleasant and incredible young entrepreneurs. As a bonus you can watch K-pop music videos and performances on the tv.

This is my favorite ice cream place in the Phoenix area. Their bubble waffles are amazing and each flavor has special treats on top to top off your sweet tooth.

Genbu is awesome! Stellar service & such a cool concept on dessert! As soon as you walk in, the smell of fresh baked waffle cones punches you in the nose & instantly you are happy!
