Never tasted Far Eastern dessert until tonight. DELICIOUS!! My wife loves going to small dessert shops and tonight she picked this one, after a failed attempt at another near by. Mango pancakes are so tasty. Wasn’t sure what it was but it was very good. Will return. Clean covid safe establishment
Really nice and clean establishment! I often travel around the valley to different boba tea shops for their sampling of teas and desserts. Let me tell you—Miss Dessert is well worth it! My favorite is the cheese foam, as I am a huge dessert lover. On this particular day I tried the strawberry matcha latte with cheese foam added and the mango pancakes. Now these are not your typical American desserts, but they are delicious! Wrapped in what appears to be a sweet dough, it is filled with light and fluffy whipped cream with a mango piece at the heart of it. Stop by and get you some!!!
The server was very nice and informative regarding all of our questions with the menu items. The lemonade was sweet, but not syrupy or overly sweet. It was quite enjoyable to drink as well as to look at with its color blend. Really liked the Yoji nectar. If we are ever back in Mesa again well have swing by and get a new surprise.
I recommend trying ⭐️ their mango pancake 💛 the best way to describe it for me is a mango soft wrap filled with sweet whipped cream and a fresh square of mango in the center of it 😍Pros- everything here is CUTE!!! Presentation is 👌🏽. The drinks are super yummy, the desserts are super yummy, and the menu is pretty large! The place is very clean and cute. I see people sitting and just talking in the atmosphere when I go.Cons- The girl helping me wasn’t really interested in giving me advice, guiding me, or answering what certain things were. I just ended up throwing the dice but it was still so so worth it.
Miss dessert has some of the best drinks and desserts in town. I go consistently and I really appreciate the lovely service and the tasty treats
First time going here & it was absolutely amazing! I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte & it was so fresh. The whole place is detailed with awesome decor & their dessert is so yummy! Their stuff is so fresh, not like others Ive tasted before.
I went to Miss Dessert for the first time. I was excited to try a new drink spot. When I entered, there was a long line and no directional area to wait or to order or pick up. The menu was difficult to see behind the dangling lights and the font was too small. I waited for over a half an hour for my drink order. The staff did not have a sense of urgency but did have some professionalism. The drink was not worthy of a long wait time. I would be intrigued to try other drinks on the menu, however, the drinks are over priced for the quality and taste. It was worth a shot and I would not recommend.
Refreshing and unforgettable! Some of my favorites are Grapefruit Fantasy, Mando Mango, and Mango Supreme. Everything is delicious.
One of my favorite places to go for refreshing drinks!Theres a good variety of drinks and toppings to choose from. They also offer both savory and sweet treats to enjoy if youd like a light snack :)
Definitely true to their concept, asian desserts of old with a twist of the new. The desserts were decent, but the service was not on par. When we first walked in the cashier just stared at us... we actually had to ask for a menu since it was not offered to us, still werent greeted by anyone. I wouldve given a 4, but service says a lot of a place. Probably will not comeback here, but worth a try once.
Im a frequent customer here, and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy a sweet beverage. Sometimes wait times can be a bit long during the lunch rush, so I do recommend calling your order in ahead of time prior to pick-up. This place is one of the few cafes that will be the first destination I have in mind anytime Im feeling a bit thirsty.
Craving some boba so we dropped by this place. Got the trendy brown sugar boba milk. Delicious, hard to disappoint. It was creamy, sweet and the boba was soft and chewy, a textbook boba drink. We also got the other drink that was basically their mango sago dessert in a drink form. Big fan of this drink and highly recommend. Perfect balace of tart and creamy from the coconut milk and mango smoothie puree. They have all the elements from the dessert made into a drinkable form. Not super sweet either so it was the perfect drink! If your looking to change things up, I would suggest giving that drink a try!
Does anyone know if the coconut jelly is suitable for vegetarians?? Mango pancake and their milk tea with purple sticky rice is amazing. Definitely a must try if you are in Phoenix.
Wanted to grab a drink while I wait for my to go order next door. I didnt know what to get and asked for a recommendation. Of the choices the milk tea with purple sticky rice sounded interesting. It was a pleasant surprise to have the rice there instead of boba or jelly. Definitely recommend people give this combo a try!
The fruit bowls and drinks are awesome!!! It’s usually a bit of wait but it’s worth it because everything is made to order and super fresh. I really wish they had these places all over town because the desserts are like an oasis in this climate. Super hydrating and refreshing. Also they have durian! And they always make sure to ask if you’ve tried durian because not everyone likes it and they care that much if you enjoy your food. That’s good service
So delicious everytime. My daughter and I get mondo mango, fruit frenzy, and mango pancakes. Love your treats, thank you.
One of my favorite dessert spots in town. One treat that stands out for me is the Yoji nectar with vanilla ice cream. Topped with fresh mangoes, this treat is quite refreshing. Their teas are not your average Boba shop teas either. Fresh brewed with yummy cream cheese on top, fruit, or purple sticky rice. This place is top notch in my book.
This place has nice tea drinks and pleasant desserts.
This is amazing boba tea shop! Must have try their Avocado smooth is super fresh!! Yoji cup is my favorite too!
It took them 10 minutes to take my order (there was no line) and then I waited 20+ minutes just for one drink. There were only like 2 other customers in the store so I am super confused what 3 employees were doing for so long..... absolutely not worth that whatsoever. Lots of other boba places to choose from, never coming back here
I’ve found my new favorite boba spot in the Phoenix area!!! Decided to try this place for the first time this past weekend, and it did not disappoint. Came back the next day for some more because it was just that good! I had the Uji green tea with the cheese foam both times. Soooo refreshing and delicious. Will definitely be back soon :).
Took my friend there to try the grapefruit iced tea and it was really good! Yummy desert as well!
Was there last night with my wife after our sushi date. She order a yoji dessert for us to share. It was really tasty. We will be back with our two kids to try out their other items. So glad we found this place to add to our dessert lists. The color theme in this shop does appeal to their female customers for sure . LoL
Since moving to the Valley, I fell in love with boba, tea, and new things to try. Trying Miss Dessert on a whim was a real treat! I got brown sugar boba milk tea and a galaxy lemonade. They are both out of this world! 10/10 would recommend. :))
Awesome asian desserts here. The right amount of sweetness to beat the heat.
My Review of: Miss Dessert Youll feel like youve stepped into an anime. A great quiet place to hang out no matter your age. Adorable booths with beautiful purple & lavender flowers at all the tables. The Durian dish was interesting, kind of like a sweet fibrous version of sauerKraut. I found the Mango Pancake divine. I bit like a crepe folded around a large dollop of whipping cream with a mango slice at the very center. All that was missing was soft ambient music. For a unique date, this is the place.
We got the classic milk tea with purple sticky rice and durian cream pancakes! The milk tea was so flavorful and smooth! I really love that the milk tea was not mega sweet like most boba shops, this one was PERFECT! The durian pancakes were yummy! Inside the pancakes they have the actual durian fruit! YUM! I would definitely recommend coming here if you’ve never been!During covid, they’re closed for Dine-In so they only have to-go orders!
This place is nice super good vibe no wonder why this place is always back at night !
Menu too small. Tried a few things tasteless
Serving Chinese, Vietnamese & Malaysian baked goods to the Mesa area, Miss Dessert seeks to recreate regional desserts through the use of traditional recipes. Asian bakeries tend to present themselves in major cities including The Greater Phoenix area. These bakeries tend to appeal to both traditional & thrill-seeking demographics, looking for an authentic sweet bite either in-store or to-go. When considering Miss Dessert, you can trust that this venue upholds standards of authenticity pertaining to list items. Offerings, crafted with eastern regional tea blends, sweeteners & doughs.Disclaimer; regional tea blends, sweeteners & doughs translates to ingredients that untrained palettes may be sensitive to. These ingredients are used in both drinks & desserts offered at Miss Desserts Mesa location. Are you an individual in either the traditional or thrill-seeking demographic? You will find great pleasure in the sheer number of exotic offerings available within the menu list. Broad spectrum, offering 20+ desserts, bubble teas, rice + fruit desserts & more. A treat to both new & accustomed diners alike. Insert; grapefruit fantasy tea (whole grapefruit slices, imported jasmine tea), mango pancake (sweet cream, mango dough, whole mango chunk) & sticky rice pellet (coconut nectar + miniature mango chunks.)When considering price point to value ratio, Miss Dessert is considered moderate. While list items do contain high quality, imported ingredients, items do not contain a reasonable quantity of said ingredients. Grapefruit slices were sparsely placed within my order, fresh mango garnished in small portions & more notably; the cream used within mango pancakes was considered fair in quality considering its price point. This does not discount flavor however, as all items ordered within my UberEats cheque were flavorful, contained complimentary ingredients & were palette awakening.Miss Dessert is best suited for those looking for an out-of-the-ordinary dessert experience that isnt too daunting. It is also worth noting that all orders arrive standard with custom designed cups/bowls, paying aestheticism in mind. Unusual, as most orders delivered to-go do not prioritize display vs. orders placed in-house. Order confidently within UberEats and be assured that items received within the app represent this business as well as it presents itself in-house. Relax, pair a bowl with bubble tea & enjoy the whirlwind flavors of Miss Dessert.
I enjoy the people there they were really friendly and outgoing Id like to say thank you to all of them and I enjoyed
Nice, tranquil and clean dessert place for all your Instagram needs. Would definitely recommend the dessert here in the Summer since it is iced and it is more lightweight than eating a bucket of ice cream. Bonus star for photogenic dessert and the overall aesthetic. What I got per waitress recommendation:-C1-Cheese Green Tea-Grapefruit Tea-Durian pancake (Would not recommend if you don’t know what durian because the smell is strong)I’ll get a pic of their menu when I go again. Check out the place and enjoy!
I got a mega fruit tea and it was refreshing and delicious 😋
So I walked in this place and its so neat and clean. People are so polite, for the longest Ive been drinking nothing but caffeine but as soon as I tried this place I was amazed on how good their drinks are especially now that the summer is here. I will be coming back I definitely recommend this place😊
Place is very nice, they answered all are questions because we weren’t sure what most of them where food and drinks are good definitely recoomend
So HAPPY to find this place!!! Real & quality ingredients, all for a reasonable price! Welcoming customer service & beautiful, tidy interior with modern Chinese decor. Ive had the mega mixed fruit green tea, mango pancakes (out of this world amazing!) & The peach smash frozen mixer. 10 out of 10! Highly recommend!
Its different .. But its really good...
Interesting drinks! But so yummy!
Milk tea is very good!
Ive probably been here 4 times this month. Its a bit of a drive for me otherwise Id probably be here every day. Try their Uni-Matcha Strawberry Latte. Its so delicious.
Its such a cute little place. I everything weve ordered weve loved!
Nice place..
This place is really fun. Dessert is perfectly sweet and not too much at all!
The brown sugar latte with purple sticky rice is AMAZING!!
Good price. Good tea. 30 minute wait for a simple classic milk tea.
I love this place and you have to try the cheese tea uji green or black
Ordered for delivery so I haven’t experienced the atmosphere all the other reviews talk about but wow, the mango pancakes and all the drinks we tried are so good. Will be ordering from them all the time now.
Love this place for its fresh fruit and cheese teas! They use high quality ingredients and no artificial syrup at all. The staff and owner are super friendly and polite, plus he even gave me an extra boba for coming so often! Definitely my go-to boba joint outside of Asia 😎😎
Unique fruity desserts and refreshing summer drinks you wont find elsewhere. The plaza isnt the most opportune, but the interior is very cute, modern and clean. It makes a perfect date spot in that regard.
Get the mango cream puffs.
If you enjoy drinking overpriced soap, this is just the place for you!My only positive takeaway is that the cup was cute.
This place was really good. We had the Miss Dessert Yoji with green tea ice cream. We are definitely coming back.
The “pancakes” were amazing as was the signature desert I got. Perfect for a scorching Arizona day, cold, sweet without being overpowering and full wonderful textures.Thank you to the two darling ladies who graciously helped me when it was obvious I had no idea what I was looking at of doing. I’ll definitely be back here when I’m in the area.
Unique Asian dessert place. Always good quality when I go
The mango herbal jelly with vanilla ice cream is delicious! Service is always great!
Best Yoji Nectar in AZ!
Love their fruit tea and their milk tea with boba. Try their mango pancakes they are great! Girls at the register are always pleasant.
Had the Yoji Nectar with Green Tea Ice Cream and the Herbal Jelly Vanilla Snow. Both were excellent! Not too sweet and both had a depth of flavor and textures that I do not often see with desserts. These people really know their desserts!I also had their Brow Sugar Latte with Boba, but it was a bit too sweet for my taste; still finished it though so Im not complaining.
Cute, and very nice sweet place. The kids loved their sweets and we enjoyed the mango pancake. Not too sweet but sweet enough, love it.
Cute atmosphere, yummy drink
Excellent variety; very refreshing.
Consistently good. Good quality drinks and dessert.
Miss desserts has some very interesting fruit and tea drinks most offer a very unique combination of flavors a must try if you ask me
We usually go here and the service is fantastic. The workers are friendly and kind. The drinks are great and my favorites are the milk tea (with boba) and the galaxy lemonade.
Great desserts but not so good on time and OK customer service.I have been going here since they opened. I love their pillowy mango pancake and their snow fruit drinks. The only issue i have is their customer service. They tend to make everyones order at the same time so you end up waiting longer. If you have questions, the employees are nice enough to take your order but less friendly to answer questions. I have only met one girl who had great customer service.
The best dessert to follow up a visit to Korea Town. This dessert is the most unique dessert Ive ever had. I went with the Yoji. They have lots of options to choose from. I absolutely never had had these wonderful treats before. It was just an easy walk down from the restaurant. So no need to move car.
Wow this is an amazing Hole in the Wall. Beautiful interior and delicious bowls and smoothies. If this was in Old Town Scottsdale it would be the biggest hit.
Everything was fabulous! It was a great foodie experience that I enjoyed and definitely will return to try out different menu options.
May 9, 2018First visit and I had fun! Large space offering different types of furniture depending on your mood and lovely decor throughout. (I want those wood tiles used to decorate the counter!) If you need nutritional or allergy info, forget about it. The cashier didnt know. I decided to rely on what I know about baking, pastries, and desserts, and on the reviews of fellow elite friends whove already posted reviews for MD.There were so many interesting flavor and texture combinations that sounded equally entertaining and delicious, and I was hungry to boot, as I always get after receiving massages, which didnt help in decision-making. To make matters easier, I decided to order a seasonal item over something I could always try next time, so Mango Supreme ($4.99) it is. (I was also considering the Uji green tea with cream.) I also went with C1, or Miss Dessert Signature Yogi Nectar, $5.99. I thought perhaps to add ice cream, +$1 (vanilla or green tea), but thought better of it since the mango smoothie comes with cheesy cream topping. Add 15% tip- I dont tip my usual 20% or more if Im forced to line up to order my items!- and the total came to $13.64 for a smoothie and dessert bowl. I HIGHLY recommend the Yogi Nectar! I was with a friend whod ordered the Mango Sago dessert, and I almost wished Id ordered the same, because Ive been craving for ripe mangoes forever, but one adorable wooden spoonful of the Yogi Nectar and I was so very happy with my selection! Not only were there chunks of ripe mango in the bowl (I did find them slightly on the sour side and definitely more fibrous than I prefer), but there was also chilled mango puree hidden underneath tiny tapioca pearls! Ribbons and ribbons of luscious, pure mango flavor! So many varying textures present that this dessert truly was very enjoyable to eat and gaze upon. I couldve had a second bowl, too, but I refrained since I also had the Mango Supreme to drink. I noticed the jasmine flavor upon first sip. At least I thought it was jasmine. I like jasmine- the flavor, the scent- but I wasnt sure if I liked the combo with mango and salted cheese topping. Friend concurs that she detected the same floral notes in her Grapefruit Fantasy tea, so perhaps MD uses a tea blend to create their beverages. The only info I could get from the cashier/blender was that the Mango Supreme is a mango smoothie with cheese cream, so I had not expected jasmine notes. I was halfway through and still didnt know if I liked it. It took drinking almost all of the mango portion for me to decide that I did. Also, the mango flavor in the smoothie was not as ripe, bold, or tasty as the mango chunks and puree in the dessert bowl, so perhaps had I tried the smoothie first before the nectar bowl, or perhaps just ordered one item, I may have given it the A-OK from the first few sips... Would I order it again? Probably, but not until I try all of the other items that piqued my curiosity first!Ill be back!------------------May 16, 2018Had walked in thinking to try another menu item on my second visit, but no, the Yogi Nectar was calling my name! Todays bowl was filled with ripe, tender chunks of mango, and the mango puree tasted just like the sweet Manila mangoes I have at home. The mini-tapioca pearls were just as fun today as Id found themon my first visit.Ill try harder to try something different on my next visit! ;)
