Came here looking for small sushi plates and didnt want to spend a small fortune having it shipped to me. Boy was I pleased to see their selection and prices. I cant believe I didnt know about this place before. Almost everything is $1.50 but there are some things that are a little bit more but nothing crazy. I love their ceramics, kitchen and food section. Employees were friendly and store was very clean. Will definitely be back to get all my Japanese household items.

Enjoy coming here. Hours are 2-7pm. Which is good if you are taking care of things in the afternoon. Or if you live in Mesa. I like their selection of items. They added fishing items. Which is great. Almost everything is $1.50. You cant buy fishing items at other dollar stores. Love their variety of items to help simplify your life. 😉

Cute stuff, my girls had been asking me to go for a while. They have great selection, from home stuff to candy and it was greatly stocked. The store offered small gadgets I couldn’t find anywhere else.My biggest complain was the way the staff follows you and watches your every move. I understand you want to protect your business but this was beyond uncomfortable. Went to check out and the cashier was looking up at the dozen of cameras they have in that place. I hope this was a one time thing and if I come back I hope the experience is not the same. Maybe they need better training in costumer service and loss prevention techniques.

All staff were wearing masks and gloves! This store is so cozy and small you wouldnt even know it was there. everything was clean and organized. I spent an hour in here unknowingly! Everyone is friendly and i would def recommend coming.

This is the cutest little place! Reminds me of Daiso! They have a lot of kawaii cute stuff. I wish they have anime stuff though, they didnt. But tons of office and school supplies, household, kitchen items. Some ramen, japanese food and drinks. Best part of it? $1.50 each for most of them, unless theyre marked. Would surely come back some other time. I wish it was close to home.

When I found out that there was a Daiso store in Mesa I was so excited and Cutie didnt disappoint! For a small store they have an amazing selection! Like a typical dollar store they have fun little doo-dads and thingamabobs, but they also have really great items for your home like kitchen items, things for your bath, and the cleaning products are GREAT- 0 complaints! And the quality of the items is pretty impressive if you compare it to other dollar store brands. Personally, this is my new favorite dollar store location. Dollar Tree who?

As close to a Daiso store as we’re gonna get here. Lots of great Japanese items, from kitchenware to office supplies. Little bit of everything you need. My favorite stuff to buy are the Japanese Snacks and Drinks. Very well priced, clean, and organized!

Staff is super nice, they many things! My wife loves this place. They even had Pokémon masks. They had one left.. but hopefully they have more later! You can ask the staff questions and they are very nice to answer whey and help you.

I Would give this place no stars.. walked in and cashier immediately said “no drinks in here” rudely. I was very shocked with her tone and also her demand to leave my drink with her. Never coming back. It would have been a pleasant experience maybe if the tone was nicer and maybe said hello when I walked in instead she was unnecessarily demanding.

Definitely have to have a mask when entering the store which is good but they have so many items things that you wouldnt think about in the store for a really reasonable price its like a dollar fifty and they have things that you find on Tik-Tok LOL anyways its worth going to be sure you have your ID even if youre using a debit card they want your ID so dont leave it in the car

One of my favorite stores! this is the larger location, and had a huge variety of products for the kitchen, dining, self care, stationery, and snacks. everthing is $1.50 unless otherwise marked, which makes everything very affordable! I picked up a set of cat themed kitchen tools for my friend, as well as a bunch of stationery and snacks for myself.

I loved this place, if you love random cute Japanese things this is the place to go. I was on a hunt to find a cute store and this one was the best out of al of them!!!

This store has some cute things. I love the stationery items and kitchen items especially. However, this store does not enforce social distancing. I went in this week and there had to have been at least 35 people crammed in the small space, the line was packed tight, there was no way every person in the store could maintain 6 feet. I was uncomfortable by this so I tried to leave, and if you want to leave without making a purchase you have to wait in the packed line or go back through the store and asked to be let out because the exit is roped off unless you make a purchase. They should operate like other stores and enforce a max capacity that allows you to walk through the store freely and have others wait outside.

AHH soo happy about this little daiso stuff and more store. Good quality items made in Japan, just made my day. Always seem to find cute things I could use, and it doesnt cost me a fortune. I believe Daiso is a little bit less on the costs? In either case, its still totally worth it. Yay!

The Japanese equivalent of the dollar store except everything is $1.50. Lots of kitchen items, art supplies, office supplies, gardening, decals, etc. Some Japanese foods, but not $1.50. One thing I really like is the super glue. They have super glue based on the material being joined.

Only place to get Daiso products in AZ as far as I know. Everything is a few bucks and I spent $100 there last time picking up household essentials and Japanese treats. You go in there thinking you need one thing and walk out with 20 things you didnt know you needed!

Amazing store, great products, but an insanely rude cashier completely ruined the experience for me.

This place is amazing in so many ways! They have lots of cute Japanese items that I havent seen anywhere else. Delicious snacks too. Also they have taken many precautions recently due to COVID-19. Masks are needed in the store. The employees have face masks, gloves and even face shields. My favorite part is the doors because they have a thing where you dont need to touch the handle with your hands to open it, you put your foot on this thing and pull it open. And on your way out you push a lever with your hip. I love going to this place.❤️

Employees are always kind and super helpful. There are tons of fun items in the store from everyday needs to little nicknacks. I always end up spending at least half an hour in the store finding way more to buy then what I came for. Also most of the products are Daiso.

Finally, store in the east valley. I would literally drive to Phoenix for my Japanese stuff.

The family absolutely loves going there and seeing all the cute neat stuff that they have in stock. We also love to grab the snacks because even though they are unique and different they are delicious, they even have an amazingly delicious squid jerky!!

I love CUTIE! This store is the best. Almost everything (like 99.5%) is $1.50 and far higher quality than a dollar store. They have Japanese food & groceries, toiletries, unique and whimsical items and toys, stocking stuffers, even gardening items and hardware items. I even got really great bike lights there!I LOVE all the Japanese pottery, dishes and the cute soup bowls like the kid you get at a Japanese restaurant. Lately when I go, I have to be careful, though, because there are so many cool and necessary items too, that I can easily get 30-40 items in one go! Love it! 💜💜💜💜💜

Ive been trying to hit all the Asian/Asian themed marts in the Phoenix area and Cutie was probably the worst. Ive never entered a store and immediately wanted to leave. The insane amount of security measures made me insecure if anything, and the staff was not welcoming or friendly at all. Their selection was decent but not great compared to other places. I definitely wouldnt go out of my way to go back there.

This place reminds me a lot of a Daiso and Im so glad we now have something very similar to that! There are tons of cute things and at such a great price ($1.50+) 😍I had actually wanted to visit before the pandemic had happened, so I cant speak of how it was before then. However, theyve taken safe measures to ensure you can still come and enjoy the store.

Impulse buy city! Low prices. Big selection, especially for food and beverages. Aisles are clear, not cluttered with merch waiting to be stocked. store seems clean and reasonably well-organized. Helps if youre able to decipher kanji (I cant). Hours arent conveniently early or late (but awesome if you work there!). Daughter walked out smiling like Hello Kitty. Drove home like Speed Racer. Lack of budget control will leave your charge card feeling like it took a Dragon Ball Z style Super Saiyan attack! Help, Goku! But I digress. Nice place. Well be back again soon.

The store was clean and organized, and they even played asian pop music through the speakers- now THAT was a nice touch.I picked up the items from the Daiso Bihaku Whitening Skincare line, which is for skin brightening. So far, it has left my skin nicely moisturized! I highly recommend checking out the beauty/skincare area! (This store is basically a mini Daiso!)Most of the products have their original Japanese labels, and also an English label, so you know what youre buying.All the items in the store are $1.50 unless marked a specific different price.This is a great place for college students to get cute japanese items for their dorm that is very stylish without breaking the bank! They even have some pre-packaged snacks, frozen foods (limited), and asian pantry staples such as sauces and condiments. I happened to pick up a bottle of PURE sesame oil for $2.50, thats a great deal when compared to a comparable item at a regular grocery store. I HIGHLY suggest looking through the kitchen/food area because you will find something very cool!There is also another one in North Phoenix that I hope to visit. I hope the beauty selection there is even larger.

I love Cutie, both the Mesa location and the North Phoenix location. The Mesa location boasts LOTS of space and pet much all of it is packed with neat things! Very affordable. Everything (unless marked) is $1.50 including Pocky and other tasty Japanese snacks (which is the best price Ive found anywhere in Phoenix). Youll find many things you never new you needed!

There are things you can get for a little bit less at the dollar store (some of the makeup etc), but a lot of things are priced better than anywhere else! Its a place you should check out!

I absolutely LOVE this place. This dollar tree prices (most items are $1.50) but HIGH QUALITY! All the time you find new products, many you cant find unless you go online and pay for unfair shipping prices. Everything I buy I adore and gets put to good use. Whether you need school supplies, cookware A-Z, gifts, food & snacks, hobbies, toys, beauty & health, household items, craft supplies, and of course traditional Japanese items. I stop in every chance I get. And my biggest worry is when I check out with a FULL basket yet my jaw drops when I see how low the total comes out to. Some may wonder, yes, they cary many DIASO products. Everyone will always find something they love no matter who you are. I am a loyal customer and always will be!

We are very lucky to have this second store. Second store is much bigger and since it is in Mesa/Tempe area, makes it very easy to go shopping. Owners are very friendly amd nice. Hope they will get more selections / variety in the future.

This is our favorite store to visit in Mesa! We are here at least twice a month to see the new inventory and purchase our favorite items. If you dont know what this store is, they import their inventory from Daiso in California, and they import from the dollar store in Japan. All of the things youll find here are very high quality and fun and unique for only $1.50! If you havent been here, do yourself a favor and check it out!

Cutie brought Daiso to the desert! THANK YOU!!! I regularly shopped at Daiso when I lived in Seattle and LA and when I moved back to AZ I missed it terribly. My husband found Cutie and we would drive all the way to their flagship location in Cave Creek/North Phoenix. Now this Mesa location is so much closer and we stop by regularly for Japanese snacks, candy, stationary, beauty items like makeup and personal hygiene products like mini eyebrow razors. My kids love browsing all the toys and candy and my husband enjoys the tech selection like phone chargers and phone cases. They have a wide selection of houseware items like plates, glassware, and even some pots and pans. Lots of storage solutions like baskets and clear refrigerator organizers. And most everything mentioned is $1.50!!! They carry predominantly Daiso products but are not officially called Daiso but Im telling you its just as good! Thank you Cutie!
