Terrible service. We were in to look at mattresses and were lied to about what mattresses we were looking at, their prices and availability. When we checked the tags and brought up how they hadnt shown us the mattresses we had requested, we were brushed off and our associate walked away rolling her eyes. No mask wearing from staff either
After I placed an online order to pick-up at this Pottery Barn store, the confirmation page states that the order should be ready in 2 hours. Two hours later, I did not receive a call or email confirming I could pick up so waited until the next day. When I finally received the confirmation, I went to the store and was able to pick up my items. Only problem is, when I got home I noticed one of my items was missing a screw and bolt which caused the handle to come off. I left a message that same day because they were already closed, but by noon the following day no one called me back so I had to call again. The lady on the phone was curt. Before I could explain the whole story, she cut me off and stated, Yes, and how can I help you? When I was finally able to explain in detail, she told me that they were sold out of the item and she could issue me a refund, but there was nothing else she could do. Again, she was curt and sounded like she was overwhelmed about something. I told her thanks for the help and called Pottery Barns customer service line instead and they were great. They couldnt help me find the parts or a replacement, but offered to refund me for the inconvenience and would pay for the return shipping back to them. Overall, the vibe of this store is offset by the employees that work there and thats a shame since Pottery Barn does sell some above average products at a reasonable price. Most (not all) of the employees come off as borderline rude and Ive been here a few times already. Next time, Im going to do everything in my power to shop online instead of coming back here.
Overpriced, monochromatic furnishing, shopping at the old Pottery Barn was much more fun.
This store is like being in the projects. Ghetto!
Always a pleasure to go to Pottery Barn. Some after holidays bargains.
Customer service sucks and they have no inventory
The staff is very helpful.I suggest going in-store, even if online says something is out of stock/not available at your store. Online said this store did not have the size I wanted in the UFO backpack. I went in, anyway, and they had it!Its conveniently located close to the entrance, so you dont have to fight much of a crowd.Very accomodating for breastfeeding mothers.
First and last time Pottery Barn shopper here. We ordered a substantial amount of bedding furniture from the store, only to notice an hour later we used the wrong card (admittedly our fault). Easy refund/re-bill an hour later, right? Nope. Between the store and 1-800 representatives (who hung up on me twice, and wouldnt return phone calls for days), we got a complete run-around and never got a resolution. I was genuine and kind to these folks, never having raised my voice once. Im rating 1 star because their representatives are absolutely horrible and gave us nothing but a run-around with all sorts of answers. After your order is placed, they simply dont care about you anymore. Pay close attention to the 1 star suggestions! Good luck!
Good quality furniture, friendly employees. Clean store that is well organized.
I will never order from this company again. One would’ve thought I learned my lesson when my mother and I both ordered beds from West Elm and it took over 7 months to be delivered, but no, I opted to give this company another try. Silly me! I placed an order over a month ago.. this company swiped my card for the same item, 3 times. Not only was it swiped 3 times, but it was for 3 diff prices!! Each price varying by a few cents.. (105.36, $105.59, &$105.37).. not only were there 3 different transactions for the same item, but (on the same order), there was another item where they split the transactions. The item was $49.96 and PB did a transaction for $2.00 and another transaction for 47.96!!! I will never ever order from this company again. Horrible service!
Ordered bedroom set, finally received final pieces after 3 months of waiting. We were told all pieces should be received within 4 weeks. The truth is, the staff doesnt know.Contacted home office, get this its William Sonoma. They told us they are at the mercy of the manufacturer in India. There was 168 orders in front of me before I would get my product.Only reason I gave a 2 star rating, was due to quality of furniture.
I bought a blanket and had a promo code for free shipping. I returned it to the store and they credited my account for the blanket less the shipping cost!! I called them and they said that the store needed to ship it back so I was charged the shipping fee!!!! Was on the phone with customer service and demanded that they credit me the shipping fee. Then they said they would send me a gift card. After 40 mins they finally said that I would get a credit in 72 hours to my account. Never heard of such a thing. Needless to say I wont be shopping on line anymore. I have bought merchandise on line and returned it to the store and have never been charged for shipping. Like Pottery Barn needed my shipping fee to add to their bank account. Please!!
One of my favorite stores! Love their holiday pillows!
Marith (sp) was very helpful and did a wonderful job wrapping our gift!
Lack of customer service at Lakeside store is only topped by the nonexistent service at the Restoration Hardware located across the mall hall. I love Pottery Barns products but the inability of any worker in the store to offer assistance has lost this customer. For good.
Its a very upscale furniture store with the latest trends and a mix of modern and clasic furniture. The attention is very personalized and the ladies do a great job. The downside is that the quality of the pieces is not what you would expect. Most of their pieces come from Asia.
They are the worst. My furniture order was supposed to be delivered b/t Dec 3 and Dec 17. Still don’t have it. Called customer service multiple times and get the run around every time. I spent a lot of money and the furniture pieces were Christmas presents....which clearly won’t be here by Christmas. On hold AGAIN with them. I’m cancelling my order and will NEVER order from them again
I would like to preface that this has nothing to do with Pottery Barn as an organization, it has everything to do with Pottery Barn and this particular location. This is the absolute worst in service I have ever received. I walked in today with the intent to spend money and buy some nice things, and was completely ignored by all three of the women working at the cash register. However another gentleman walked in and he was highly engaged by them. Needless to say, I went elsewhere.
Neat stuff, but limited selection and overpriced.
Great, helpful staffer, over & above.ordered some baby register items.
