We have used APS for our extensive store surveillance as well as our alarm monitoring service for years. My rep, Charlie, has fair pricing and the best service! The security installation team, led by Chad is kind and trustworthy. I love that he explains everything he is doing on the job and explains technical information to me in an easy manner. I have trusted this company with my security/surveillance at my business as well as my home. I love using a LOCALLY owned company instead of these places that have a 1800 number... when you call APS you get a PERSON!

These guys make sure they put the customer first when it comes to their products and services. APS is a top-notch security Production service I have never been disappointed in all the years of having it. We had cameras installed not too long ago and enjoy the security of that but just recently had a horrible experience with leaving U-verse AT&T service and going back with Cox Communications. But in the transition of companies to Cox Communication my security cameras were disconnected and very hard to find where the problem was, that they AT&T, so politely just disconnected and made my security unavailable! Anyway APS came out expeditiously and on time with a wonderful crew mr. Josh mr. Blake and mr. Ray worked diligently getting me back on track in made the experience not only professional but fun. They are an A Team and made the whole process a pleasure. Thank you APS.

APS did a fabulous job of helping me install an alarm system after my home was broken into. I was particularly impressed with how helpful and friendly the entire team was and that they prioritized my install and got everything done in 3 days! Thus far, the system is working great, is easy to use, and our home feels more safe and secure.

Be aware of the contract! APS did my alarm system over 10 years ago. Last year I contacted them because my alarm monitoring was not working as their system only works with analog phones and the phone company switched my phones to digital. They wanted $200 to make my alarm system compatible with digital phones. I ended up going to another company that upgraded my entire alarm system. I cancelled APS service in January of 2020 but evidently the 10 year old contract auto renews for a year at a time so I had to pay them for 11 months of monitoring service I will not use. I talked to the general manager and he refused to budge. I even use them for my company alarm system, but now I will be cancelling that as well. The general manager did not seem to care at all about the 10 years of business I gave them both at my residence and company and was more concerned about collecting $160.

I had issues with the security camera equipment but the technicians were very helpful. The GM even reached out to me after having multiple issues. They have great customer service and I enjoy working with them. Best technicians in this sector.

APS got me out of a serious pickle, pronto! With renovations underway, I needed my key pad moved, NOW! With extremely short notice, APS found a way to send someone out immediately, allowing my crew to continue working with no down time. I so appreciate how they understood my situation and cared, as if the problem was theirs, not mine. Excellent customer focus and prompt problem-solving! Friendly, personable, and professional!

I have been with APS since 2008 It’s a wonderful alarm service. They are extremely quick to respond to even an accidental alarm going off. The staff is very courteous over the phone. I feel like they are family and are generally concerned for your safety. I highly recommend this company.

Hard pass.We used APS to do the entire security system, audio/visual and surround sound, burglar alarm, cameras, and monitoring services for our home when we remodeled in 2015.APS gave a great sales pitch.Less than 5 years later I am disappointed with almost everything theyve touched.First, the A/V system: 1980 tech. We wanted to link everything for our TV to one remote WITH a sound system. Pretty standard. We were told that we were buying exactly that. (Best Buy can do that.)Plot twist: AFTER install, it turns out that we need two separate remotes to operate the TV- AND for volume, we need to have a closet door cracked open so that the remote will talk to the receiver. Same price as quoted, though. Geez.Security System and Cameras- After some time (2 years, 7 months), a few of our cameras go out- three out of six, to be exact. We call APS to have them fixed, and I ask how I can get footage from a suspected burglary in front of our house (not inside), and they tell me that all of the tech for our security system is now defunct. Like, the company went out of business and nothing can be fixed or replaced. We have to buy all brand new equipment and reinstall if we want functioning security cameras. Ok, so next time, Ill just install a NEST.Alarm monitoring has always been a pain. Their monitoring fee is expensive, and they do not stand by the equipment they install. We have had several issues with either the programming or the equipment (sensors, etc...) over the years. And they will NEVER come out if you have a problem. Plan to wait 2+ weeks for an appointment unless you want to pay the up-charge for an after-hours service call.Our latest issue, after many- is that we have had 3 CO2 scares since January 2020. They fixed the first one, by essentially erasing a zone that they installed- without any explanation of whether we actually had a CO2 issue or what they programmed that zone for in the first place. Was it a CO2 issue or not? $150 service fee.When we got another CO2 warning on our alarm panels in different zones, we called again. They replaced a sensor- just one. $150 service fee.And again we got a CO2 warning about two weeks later. We called this morning to make another appointment and give up another $150 to fix the same issue, but I think the better plan is to write this review, and then change everything over to a different company.Yikes.*** EDIT: Thats $115, not $150 for a service visit.

Charlie Dureaux and his crew recently updated our security cameras and I cant sing APSs praises enough. Their work was terrific and quality of the upgrade was remarkable. I was able to provide the police dept with still images from the video of recent incident in front of our building that aided their investigation. We are so happy with APS and I cant recommend them enough!

We just had APS upgrade our system that was installed first in 2006. The time they gave us to really listen and understand our needs, while balancing our wish-list with cost efficient solutions was invaluable.The installation was scheduled for 3 days, and in 1-1/2 days they were finished with no surprises. Everything is up-to-date, super easy to use, and looks and sounds great! The technicians took their time to ensure the physical items were well placed and neat. We highly recommend you let APS give you a quote before you buy.

Salesmen are taught well on sales tactics but equipment, after sale service, and support are below par at a premium price. I have several systems in place spanning over 15 years with APS and have finally come to reality and in the process of changing my services.Before using APS i would research their references both published and non published. You will be happy you took the extra time to research their services and equipment used.Barry Ellis

The entire staff at APS is remarkable. I opened a small business, and got several quotes. Charlie, the sales guy, is very professional, incredibly prompt and accessible. Also, he helped me solve what would have been an unrelated, but very expensive problem, that I didnt even know I had!The installation crew was the same; professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. They helped me solve my internet issues, which obviously, is not part of their job.Based on my experience, I am switching my existing business to APS as well. I wouldnt have thought Id be this enthusiastic about a security system ever, but, APS definitely listens to their clients needs.

Do not use this company. After months of poor customer service I decided to switch to another service. Tried to cancel with them and it turns out that when I had a technician come out to service the alarm in 2016 I signed a three-year contract renewal. Thought I was signing a work order and was never told it was a contract extension. They are refusing to let me out of it. If I could give them zero stars I would.

I was sold an integrated Honeywell TotalConnect 2.0 system by this company. Unfortunately nothing is integrated. The home alarm, the security cameras and the doorbell camera are all controlled separately with different apps on your phone or alarm pad with different logins and passwords. Not integrated in the least. I called their support service about how to reset the password for the app (I was getting an account locked message) and was told to call back during business hours. Thanks.

THIS COMPANY DEMONSTRATES HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE TO THERE CUSTOMERS AND THERE EMPLOYEES. THERE EMPLOYEES ARE SCREAMED AT WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH CUSTOMERS. THE COMPANY CHANGES THE WARRANTY PERIOD AND DOES NOT ADVISE THERE CUSTOMER WHEN THEY SIGN AN AGREEMENT. THEY ALSO DO NOT ADVISE THE NEW POTENTIAL CUSTOMER THAT THEY ARE SIGNING A 5 YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THIS COMPANY. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS VERY SLOW AND NEVER CAN SPEAK TO A PERSON ALWAYS HAVE TO LEAVE A VOICEMAIL. ALSO WHEN YOU ASK TO SPEAK TO THE OPS MANAGER HE IS ALWAYS NOT AVAILABLE. IF YOU UNAVAILABLE EMPLOYEES TO BEABLE TO SPEAK TO HOW CAN YOU DO BUSINESS AND STAY OPEN.FOR ANYONE WHO DECIDES TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY BE PREPARED WITH ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS BECAUSE THEY WILL STICK IT TO YOU AND HOLD YOU TO EVERYTHING YOU HAVE.

Weve had our APS cameras for over 2 years now. While the sales and installation process was smooth, since having the cameras, anytime the phone-based app stops working (meaning were unable to view the cameras), theres a $115 charge for someone from APS to fix it...and every time we call, APS blames the issue on Honeywell. Thats not exactly the type of follow-up you want from a company you spent thousands to install cameras and have to pay so much to update issues on their end.

A bundle of wandering fools. I was with them for 5 years. They now treat everyone like garbage. Overly aggressive sales and undertrained installers. Do yourself a favor and look up a DIY starts with simple. If you cant handle that and want a local Tassin or ADT.

I`ve been a customer of APS for 15 plus years and they always have treated me very good, when I need a technician to come to my home or my business what ever I might need to be serviced is always taken care of promptly and repaired right the 1st time.
