I have sold to other shops in the past but this was by far the best experience. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous and honest. The owner, Mike Perkins, gave my family a very special consideration. After we sold some jewelry we found out that our daughter wanted one of her grandmothers rings. She went to the shop the next day and Mike sold it to her for what he gave us for it. That made my daughter extremely happy.

After trying several places to sell some gold coins I ended up at causeway coin company Mike was by far the most Fair in the business. He paid me $1,950 for some gold coins there were 1 oz bullion. I had tried it several other places the best offer I got was $1,750

Father and son work here. I dealt with the son. I came in with 3 storage containers of PF69 or better proof coins. I had quite a few high grade buffalo nickels and walking half dollars. I had many high grade coins. The first thing Mike said was you dont have the quarters do you? So obviously he didnt want any of the silver proof state quarters I had for every year. I then showed him a PF69 buffalo silver dollar I had. I told him I had about 25 of these. He said I already have a bunch of those in the back So again no interest. NICE. I also keep all my coins in dessicant to keep the moisture out and the coins in fine condition. He then picked out one PF70 gold coin I had. He made me an offer so I agreed. He was cherry picking He didnt care one bit about the customer or the coin collecting community in general. He was only out for himself. I think he was too lazy to go through my collection. He showed no interest in any of my coins except the PF70 gold coin so I very GLADLY took it back. He then recommended me to another coin shop. I was treated horribly at the shop he recommended and I was offered close to spot silver for my high graded coins. I talked to the Father at Causeway Coin about his son and his recommendation. He told me they NEVER recommend that particular coin shop to anyone! Dont do business with Causeway Coin!

I recently went here to purchase some jewelry for my wife after a good friend of mine referred them to me. Mike and his brother at the slidell location gave me a very good deal on a pair diamond earrings. (I shopped around) They had a bigger jewelry selection then I thought and will be back to get my wife and daughter a custom necklace for Christmas.

Walked in and had an estimate on a coin. Very courteous crew, answered multiple questions and provided extra knowledge about junk silver coins. First place I will go when ready to deal.

I have been very pleased with mike at the metairie store. Steve at the algiers location is another matter. I was offered well below the spot price of silver for a sizable collection of coins, including 8 uncirculated morgan dollars. His offer was insulting in that no numismatic value was considered. I asked if they were coin dealers and to my astonishment he started yelling at me. Totally unprofessional. I advise against going to the gen degaul location unless you are there to make a donation.

My mom and I came here to sell a 10k gold ring and he took a look at it and said he couldnt do anything with it. We went down the street to Bjs pawn shop and was given $70 for it. 🤔

Really rude people, impolite pushes you out door refuses to answer any questions you have unless your giving him gold or silver for penny’s on the dollar I will never do business with these people ever again.
