This market is very clean and well stocked (sometimes a Lil high on price but everything is real food which is worth it) the employees are very nice and very knowledgeable

This was my first time coming here. I saw it online, so I thought I would try it... I ordered my groceries and did a curbside pickup. The girl employee that brought out my groceries was very friendly and welcoming! I ordered items from companies I wasnt familiar with, but the products seem to be more health-oriented... It kind of reminds me of a mixture of a regular Grocery and a Whole Food Store. With that being said the prices or higher than your run of the mill grocery. But you get what you pay for. Online they have a link to things that are on sale 😃, which I liked. They have things like buy two items and save 50 cents each or more! Obviously I havent had a chance to try these new products, but from what I can see everything looks good...

Nice staff and quality products. It’s a little expensive and a small selection, but that’s the price you pay for organic these days. The young man working the meat and seafood counter today around 2 p.m was especially personable!

It’s a nice sized store that I’ve visited a couple of times. I like that there was little to no traffic (shoppers) compared to other grocery stores. I have purchased food from each department in those two visits and everything was FRESH! The deli products were reasonably priced and the seafood wasn’t spoiled, mushy, nor slimey! Great job! The staff didn’t constantly bother me which is good to maintain focus when shopping without a list. Customer service throughout the visits gets 5 stars! Great attitude from the young folk! They are being trained properly so kudos to management, keep that up.

First time in store shopper. Very impressed. Had choices you cant find in other stores. Deli and meat departments were hands on, and the workers extremely polite. Its further away from where I normally shop, however with this type of customer satisfaction, Ill drive the extra miles.

Yall sink in the ladies bathroom might as well not even exist.To turn on the water you have to hold the button. You cant even wash your hands correctly.I hope the people dealing with food aint using these sinks. Wthell?

1st time visit to just look around. The vegetables and meats look very fresh. Nice appearance to the store. Ill be back again!

UPDATED Sometimes they dont have (or dont know about) some of the advertised specials in their email flyer. Today was pretzel hamburger and hot dog buns featured on sale. People in the bakery didnt know anything about pretzel buns. NEW: I couldnt figure out a way to respond to the owners response so Ill add to my review. I changed my rating to 5 stars because Ill consider this relatively small issue resolved. Moving on, most everything else in the store is just fantastic, always a good experience all the way through checkout. Thanks!

On Fridays they have 5.99 a lb Alaska Salmon on sale, so every Friday I go purchases two slabs and have them cut it up. Now on this Friday they were trying to sell the lower end thin part of the salmon. They were being slick and scappy. I will never go again.

Had salad and pasta.....was good....good wine options too.....

Buy 2 get one free so Illy at $10 a can.. its worth it. Bought all on the shelf. Stay at home work will be survivable.

We buy something specially the cinnamon babka. Turmeric and Cinnamon is very good things to be taken now against the virus. Also vitamin c time release.

While on the expensive side staples, not overly deep in breadth or depth. You can find some nice treats here. While I wouldnt shop here for my weekly groceries, I would stop in to pick up some special items.

One of the beautiful things about walking into the Fresh Market store, is the divine aroma that saturate our senses. It feel like a touch of Christmas all year long. Yesterday, even wearing a face mask, the smell of fried chicken lingered throughout the whole store. Some us feel this smell can be repugnant. Sorry.When I went in, I discovered the smelloriginated at the very front of the store.I perfectly understand how difficult can be to please all your customers, however, the powerful aroma of fried chicken, is not for everyone.

Its always a pleasure to visit this store. Meat counter is great, interesting and varied foods. Only thing that I wish they could do is to have a little better stocked produce area. Not much there, though nicely displayed. No interesting choices like broccoli rabe, baby bok choy (used to carry it), etc. -- things one expects at a gourmet upscale market.

Ordered a fruit tray online for a baby shower. The photos of the party trays are beautiful, high priced than most stores. But the photos make the party trays look like they are worth the extra money.Disappointingly, what you actually get is not at all like the photo online. There is such little food on the tray you can see the bottom of the tray is most places.I ordered a $49.99 tray and was too embarrassed to bring it in the condition it was in. I bought $20 more fruit to add to it. So I spent $70 for a fruit tray I could have purchased elsewhere for $35.I do not recommend this store to anyone.

When I want an excellent cut of meat to grill at home this is my go to. I have never been disappointed with the quality and pricing from the butcher selection.

Fresh Market is one of my favorite grocery stores and something I really miss about living in Metairie. I highly recommend them for quality meats, fantastic bakery, delicious hot bar, and tons of niche items. Really friendly staff.

We like FM and by watching their sale prices on the items that we like it is very reasonable. The staff are always friendly and helpful, and the store is clean and seemingly well managed.One gripe: why the heck do you have large paper bags with no handles?? These things are like a throwback to earlier days. We try to remember to bring our own reusable bags but sometimes forget or simply stop in on the spur of the moment with no access to our reusables. I addition to being difficult to carry it’s just downright weird in this day and age to still use these things. Don’t you agree?And please no answers like “we appreciate your feedback and have informed our corporate office” or “we’ll certainly look into this”. An individual, personal reply (and solution?) would be appreciated. Thanks.

Staff is very friendly. If you need something they are there to help you with beautiful smiles. They also have a large variety of foods and non-food products. You can also get meals and salads ready made. It is a bit pricey but it is worth it.

They have the best salmon I have ever tasted. You do have to buy in season though. I bought Alaska salmon from here during the winter and the flavor profile, although great, was not as good as summer salmon.

The store is so perfect, it looks like a movie set. The customer service is unrivaled. Gorgeous fresh cut rose bouquets only $10.99! Im hooked.

If i could rate 0 stars, I would. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service at check out. The lady working in fresh foods was extremely nice and served up my overpriced chicken salad immediately. At the check out, 2 very old ladies were complaining about their jobs and management. Neither acknowledged me throughout the transaction or said thank you or have a nice day or whatever trivial phrases are uttered by cashiers to the folks who patronize the establishment where they are fortunate to have a job. I told them that I was sorry to interrupt their conversation (while they should have been attending to customers or whatever job duties they were hired to perform) and the non-cashier who was doing most of the complaining said Yeah, we sorry too. Real classy. Ive been there dozens of times and never experienced this service but after reading reviews, I can see Im not the only person overpaying for their goods and receiving awful customer service. I immediately threw the chicken salad in the garbage can and went to Martins Wine Cellar for a much better product albeit a longer line. However, its so worth it. And word of warning, FMs chicken salad often contains bones. Martins never does and is much tastier. Avoid this place. Ive notified my friends and neighbors of this horrendous experience and posted on social media as well. Hard to believe that store can survive with this staff. And I reported my experience to John who said he was the manager and said not returning is my privilege. Darn right it is and Ill be speaking with corporate as well.

Its got very good meat and produce. The store is clean. The employees are helpful. You will pay a bit more but the quality is worth it!!

The FM has a decent variety of baked goods, deli items, prepped meals, etc. Their 8 count chunky chocolate cookies are pretty awesome. I wouldnt count on finishing your shopping list for the whole week though; they simply do not have enough variety to satisfy your needs. And the regular items that they do carry can be a little pricey. Its definitely worth checking out.

I visited fresh market for the first time today. The store is clean and well-stocked with a large variety of staples and specialty foods. I would like to shop here weekly for my family but the prices are exorbitantly high.

Aloof staff. At $9.99 per pound the chicken salad contained more bone and gristle than chicken. Bread selection was good if you could find one that was not out of date. The overall experience for me was overpriced substandard quality.

Conveniently located. Reasonably priced. Customer service is okay.

This fresh market must not realize the abundance of much better grocery stores in the area. Maybe they just don’t care . The manger told me today that if I bought food that was bad I needed a receipt for it . Who keeps recipts for edible food . If I intend to eat it what would I need a receipt for ? Policy ... don’t sell rotten food and people wouldn’t have to return it . Disgusting . I will never return and will also tell everyone that will listen how horrible my experience was . # never ever shopping at fresh market again.

This is my favorite market. I love the fresh produce, deli, and meat/seafood counters. The stores small size is just right for me. I can get in and grab the quality items that I need without being surrounded by aisles and aisles of items that I do not need.

I really like this store. Very fresh vegetables. Nice store with lots of choices. Well stocked and easy to find what you want. While it doesnt have the same type of inventory as its competitor down the street, it is more focused, not as congested, easier to find what you want and less expensive. Great comcept.

I do love Fresh Market,they have those special things other stores dont carry,like the spinach kale feta wrapped in filo,also blk bean roasted corn salad,more like a salsa but delicious,I think yesterday was just a bad day,I wanted one chicken breast and when the butcher handed it to me,I thought I could smell an odor but figured might just be my imagination.Anyway when I got home I opened it& definitely bad.One other thing I would like to know when that bean corn salad is made& how long good in my fridge? Ill ask today,they put the date it was packed on.Ill continue to shop Fresh Market on a regular basis.

I love the place, love the staff, one less star because of the bread section. I used to go to the one on St Charles that has an amazing selection of FRESH BREAD. Here is defrosted overprice breads . Or things in plastic bags ! Same for pastries. By the way “crème brûlée” means burned cream, the sugar is burn on the top until it turns to a dark crunchy caramel, so the pitiful yellow thing sold is not at all à crème brûlée.

When shopping for a perfect roast this is the place to go. Excellent choices. If you do not see what you want the butcher will go in the freezer for you. Great wine department as well. If you want excellent service and great pricing visit The Fresh Market.

Small grocery with a great selection. Nice meats and lots of fresh selections. Their ribs are some of the best I have ever had. They also have a great bakery. Their fresh baked bread is spectacular.

Finally had oatmeal cookies i have looking for. Took the last two .Probably be a long time before they have them again. Good ice cream here. Their brand. No grass fed milk. Do have not homogenized milk ever. Have to buy grass milk from W F.

The weekly and daily specials are hard to pass up. The weekly meal deal is usually cost effective and delicious. They also offer preparation instructions.Very seldom is there a wait to check out and the people behind the counter are friendly and helpful. The only downside is it is a little more costly than some grocery store options.

Their deli is awesome! I get an Italian panini but I need (no cheese) to have it specially made and Jeremiah makes it for me with a smile and doesnt show if it he actually minds. I recommend this place for food and the deli! Great experience every time.

I really enjoy the Fresh Market, they carry a lot of things the other stores in town dont. I especially love that they carry Graeters Ice cream and my favorite gluten free gnocchi. While I have to say they are a little pricier than some of their competitors they do have great deals and different variety items available.

Beautiful. Kind of puts me in mind of a smaller Central Market (Texas), and higher end Whole Foods. Small, a little expensive, yet caters to the foodies here in the greater NO area. Very nice, engaged staff. If I needed something special, here & Dorignacs is where I would start.

Great place for fresh produce around this neighborhood. They are almost always well stocked with vegetables. The only place in the neighborhood where I could get Saffron (they had 3 varieties).

Poor customer service. Limited selection of high priced food and beverages. Employees are just not friendly and will deliberately walk away when you are trying to ask a question. At checkout, they will force you to enter your email address and then yell at you for asking for a receipt. Go anywhere else.

Limited amount of products, small specialty type store. Very clean,.Love the deli counter. Especially the pre-made salads such as chicken, tuna, and green salads. Always fresh and Yum. Rotisserie chickens good but pricey.

So nice! Their Little Big Meal is incomparable - $20 to feed four. I also love their snack mixes, the fresh nut butter grinders, and their nonpareils from the bulk section.

Wanted to give kudos to the staff at this location. This evening I was chasing down a particularly hard to find ice cream and got tired of driving around from store to store. The young lady who answered the phone not only went to see if the flavor I wanted was in stock, but when she saw that it was not, she memorized every flavor from that brand that they did have in stock. Thanks so much and please let her know her efforts did not go unnoticed!

Prices are too expensive for everything. Also, tried to get a pizza and wings special, then found out, the pizza had to be put in the oven. If Im paying for a pizza, the least they could have done was bake the pizza. Will not be going back

A little expensive, but always have great sales and there is Fresh in the name for a reason: Produce is beautiful, wonderful and reasonable premade lunch options and deli with everything from salads to sushi and dumplings, amazing meat market with countless options including a large selection of upscale stuffed meats at a great price and everything comes with cooking instructions! A nice wine selection with ratings displayed for the last three years. A nice beer isle. So many interesting and healthy items on the shelf in every isle. And the Metairie location has the most friendliest and aproachable employees. My favorite market next to Ideal Market!

Meat is beautiful, Deli case has lots of nice prepared foods. The only reason I didnt give 4 stars is because produce department seemed bare.
