The best experience ever! From Security, to A/V, to Lights, to Smart locks and to my vinyl/tape collection . Every detail was thought of.They took the time to teach me why using Alexa or Google was not the answer I was looking for. but they also explained the pros vs the cons of every set up. The final set up was a Control4 system that worked seamlessly across my whole house, and in every room and device.Does my daughter want to watch a Hulu show in her room, while closing the blinds and setting her lighting down? No problem, press a button!Does my wife want to watch TLC or a new Netflix show in the kitchen? No problem, press a button and everything works perfectly audio, video, and lighting.Do I want to play PS4 or Nintendo Vintage Console in the media room using my audiophile receiver and headphones? . No problem, press a button!I thank IDFL for taking the time to teach, train and set up everything as well as delivering a fully functional smart home from top to bottom! They came through with their promise! Which is rare nowadays!I talked to several of the competition in the area, but NO ONE, came close. From the education during the sales process, to the patience during the installation and set up process, to the support 6 months later when in the middle of a Xmas party I could not figure out how to play family videos. They never failed me once!Would highly recommend if you want the best of the best with no excuses!

I have used this company twice and spent a significant amount of money (almost $11,000 just this year alone for an upgrade). I was promised that my system would be very user friendly. it is not. Then, when the system doesnt work, they refuse to come, absent a credit card to pay for service calls. I have worked with this type of service on numerous personal and professional installations over the years and around the country. I have found that people in this field want to be helpful to the clients, are patient with any tech shortcomings, and look to develop long-term relationships. This team simply does not. For this reason, I cannot recommend them. You get your install and not much else. Good luck if you have problems.

The only company I would ever use. They are always available and have gone out of their way many times to accommodate my needs. I wish everything I purchased had the support of a team the likes Intelligent Design. I can’t recommend them enough.

Highly recommend! I didn’t think I could have a smart home on my budget, but my friend insisted I call Intelligent Design and at least have a free consultation. I am really glad I did. I started with lutron lighting control, and then got a tv (mounted on a swiveling bracket-no wires in sight!). Now, I’m about to buy motorized shades from them, I wish I had done it all at the same time! The prices are fantastic, the customer service is great. My only regret is that I wish I would have called sooner.
