Let’s just say Shleppers are a shlep. You get what you pay for and someone else’s box too! All of my furniture that they insisted on packing had damage and not enough for it to be worth it to pay the deductible on the insurance. They have yet to contact me on what I should do with another customer’s box. I should’ve paid the extra $1k for a better company. A real shlep.

We moved from New York to Florida, and the whole process was extremely pleasant and easy with Shleppers. The gentlemen who came to our New York Apartment where extremely fast, organized and polite, and the two employees who dropped off our belongings in Florida were great as well. I definitely recommend this moving company if you are looking to move!

Great service, very efficient and reliable, the only down part is some of my glass items, headboard and desk was damaged, I reported it and never heard another word about it.

My name is Molly I’ve been using shleppers moving company for over 6 years.I’ve moved every year from aventura toMiami Beach toMiami to New York and I am very pleased they always had better prices then anyone else and I have high end furniture and never a scratch they went above and beyond fitting my furniture in the tiny halls of New York City. Everyone is friendly and always on time and there to help. My sister and family is now using there services and are very pleased. Sharon at Shleppers saved the day!! We are extremely thankful and grateful to him and his crew!We first hired a company that loaded some of our stuff and broke some of the furniture, they then couldnt complete the job (much to our benefit...) we then made the call to Shleppers. Sharon was in our condo in less than an hour with his very well prepared and professional crew. The previous company did not even bring tools!The Shleppers packed each piece of furniture and quickly packed the truck up. Upon arrival to our new home they started unloading the remaining boxes (specifically to the rooms they belonged to). The main piece was our very heavy piano that was professionally packed and moved by the crew.I relocated for work many times in my life and have had the pleasure of working with many other movers. Shleppers are superior to anyone else. I will make it a point to always refer my family & friends to Sharon@Shleppers.

The worst moving experience! I didnt think it could be worse until they only offered me $154 as a settlement for the terrible service. I had my items in storage with them for nearly 3 years. In June we moved into a new house and I scheduled to have my items brought to me. First of all, the mover - yes, singular 1 mover, did not arrive within the time frame. Secondly, he arrived and it was dark. When he arrived I asked why did he come at a time when he couldnt see and why he came alone. His response was that he didnt want to miss the time frame and he thought he could find someone in the neighborhood to help him move my furniture in. WHAT?? REALLY? I live in gated community, it was dark out - who were you going to find to help you move my belongings into the house??? The truck had items strewn everywhere and he could not find all of my boxes and I am still missing 4 boxes of which Shleppers has made no effort to look for and/or reimburse me. My family had to help him put the items in our garage. He did not assemble any of my furniture and I had to hire another moving company to come and move my armoire into the house because Shleppers did not have the capacity to do so. So much for their wow through customer service and striving for operational excellence - they completely missed the mark on this one!

Our last two moves were Oz movers. . . Westchester to upper East side, then a local move. - Unmemorable (good)Schleppers - (Jaws) ... We approached three companies - we were moving out of state ... Great sales team at Schleppers, seemingly trustworthy, really nice.We were mugged by the service...we are not materialistic people we are not wealthy do not own any rare or expensive possessions...but what we do own we love.This was the Rosemarys Baby of household moves...Most people are in a quietly vulnerable place when the men pack your stuff up and load it on a truck...The packers (pay extra) were quick and seemingly efficient.We were repeatedly kicked in the stomach three weeks later as we oversaw the delivery in our new home...50% of the boxes packed were torn and dented contents smashed and broken. . .on box after the other.Tables,butcher block counter, beautiful wooden benches mangled and destroyed.It was a mean and horrible devastating experience - it has taken two months to scribble this review . . . here it is - a needless assault - no accountability.We just wanted to move, we did not want to have our guts torn up.My advice - stay far away.

My husband and I moved to FL from CA 12 weeks ago. I am currently 25 weeks pregnant, and we are still sleeping on an air mattress and using camping chairs to sit on because Shleppers has been unable to advise when or even if they intend to deliver our stuff.We contracted Shleppers to pick up our belongings in CA on May 21 and requested a drop off date of June 15 in FL. They advised us that the typical delivery window was 7-14 days after the requested delivery date.As of today, we still have not received our belongings and have received no clear communication from Shleppers regarding when they might even load our belongings up in CA to be shipped out to FL. It seems as if they are holding everything hostage. We continue to get answers like: we dont know where the driver is, one of our drivers never showed up, or even I cant help you. We were advised that legally, they have 30 days from the requested delivery date (June 15) to provide our belongings - that 30 days was up 18 days ago as of today. I have been calling Shleppers every day for the past two weeks and have been unable to get anyone to pick up my calls, or return my calls with any helpful information. If i do speak with someone, I am never able to get any information regarding timeline or even if they intend to provide my belongings. I am told they do not know where or when their driver will be coming to pick up my belongings which seems strange since their dispatch department is in charge of knowing that very information and should have at least some idea if i am calling them every day!My desire is for Shleppers to make things right by providing clear, proactive communication regarding when they will ship out my belongings and guarantee that they will meet the delivery window.I am most disappointed by their lack of integrity, proactive communication and willingness to resolve this issue. I understand things happen, but my pregnant belly would really appreciate having a real bed to sleep on in the near future.

Shleppers recently moved our office. Their preparation was excellent and on the day of the move their team was on time, careful and diligent. Our move went smoother than expected. Thank you for the hard work.

Our long distance move was smooth, efficient and stress-free. From the initial estimate to the final delivery, Shleppers staff was amazing. They followed up and kept us informed along the way. The movers themselves (Garcia and his team on one end, and Carlos and his team on the other) were very professional and took great care with our belongings. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. We would highly recommend schleppers and (though we hope not to move again for a long time) would definitely plan to use them in the future.

My experience with Shleppers could not have been worse it was like they hired day laborers that did not know what they were doing they just threw my things into boxes, they threw boots in with china, I had thousands of dollars worth of damage, carpets that I had cleaned and wrapped for moving were ripped and torn and stained, my chandelier was broken waterford crystal was broken, my box springs and mattress were stained, 2 glass table tops broken also a marble table smashed. When their represented came to to my house to quote me a price he was very professional I trusted him. Do yourself a favor do not use this company

The transition of moving is very stressful and time consuming but my most recent move to South Florida was a breeze. Thanks to Sharon and his crew from the estimate to the final box unpacked. Despite a few obstacles with the elevator Sharon assured me that the 3 flights of stairs wouldnt be an issue, my furniture as well as my personal belongings was delivered without a scratch. I recommend Shleppers of Aventura to anyone looking for a stress-free transition to the South Florida area

Used this company for a move from FL to NY, the owners in FL was great and accommodated all my needs, both teams in FL and NY were great. polite and efficient. Will use again.

Ive used Shleppers four or five times, but this time they totally cheated me. I have an armoire that I asked them to move separately. I spent the time walking the crew through the piece, showing them how to move it. They tried to cram it into an elevator that was too small, breaking the side panels in two and ripping the trim off it. They KNEW they did it but didnt tell me. They told me they couldnt fit it into the elevator and put it in storage. I paid them $600 in tips. When I went to pick up the piece, I was dismayed it was stored UPSIDE DOWN. I spent six months trying to get the company to deal with this issue and they promised and promised--but never responded. Eventually after many emails and snail mails, they offered to pay $150 of the $2000+ in damages. I very much regret tipping the lying crew so much and cannot believe the way this company has treated a long time customer. NEVER AGAIN.UPDATE: Shelppers has come through and proactively hired a furniture restorer for me. If this gets fixed, Ill be back to add another star.

They moved my parents and me twice, they had our stuff in storage for 3 months and all our belongings came back home safely.

I had a billing issue, but it has been resolved.
