Storage area always clean and safe. Well lit. Easy access and great support.At one point recently, I used the office restroom and left my college ring on the sink. I then began driving to South Carolina. A few hours later I was notified by one of the managers that my room was left at the site. He kindly coordinated with me to have someone pick it up from him. He was courteous and kind and I willalways be grateful.I cleaned out my storage unit this past weekend and today the same young man called me to thank me for my business with Extra Space Storage and we had a great concluding conversation.Great business. Decided last minute on labor day to rent a storage unit. Called and spoke to a customer svc agent was able to figure out what unit would work best for me. Within a few mins of hanging up Chris from the location called and was able to set everything up and pay over the phone. Emailed my contract to be signed. After he text me info. with the unit # and gate code along with detailed directions to my unit. He did ask if I needed a lock and offered to leave it in the unit. I must say I dont post many reviews but must give credit when its due. Super easy process without the hassle of running around and super friendly and helpful service. Extra space storage is clean and they provide you with L carts to make taking your items into your storage unit super convenient. The manager Shannon helped me during my mix up in size storage places, she was super nice and I was very thankful for that. I will definitely use this location if I need to in the future.

Chris was wonderful. I sat at the gate for five minutes trying to find my code to get in. Chris came over and got information from me and found my unit and passcode. Space was clean and the building kept nice. Access hours were great (every day 6am to 10pm), price was perfect for 10x10 with climate control. So far, so good. We needed a space to empty our house to remodel for sale. Doing most of the work myself so this works out very well for me.If there are any issues in the future, I will update my review but first month has been great.

This location was patient with me I had a hold for a unit they reach out to me after a week which I didnt answer and they still reserved my unit. This review is based off of my initial experience in getting a new storage space. Shannon is the real deal - when you go to a storage place you want things to be as clean cut and painless as possible and she delivers. Very informative, personable and understanding. Facility itself is also very clean.

Everything was fine until my husband needed to get HIMSELF storage for his things since we were moving. I already had storage there IN MY NAME and only my name. When i tried to open up a storage for him in HIS NAME Shannon told me we couldn’t do that because it is fraud. I would have to transfer MY UNIT TO HIS AND GET A BIGGER UNIT! I told her that is not what we wanted to do. Just wanted a second unit for his things I’m not transferring my things. Since she didn’t want to accommodate us, we took his things to the ExtraStorage facility up the street off of 43. I don’t know why but they were $30 cheaper any way and nicer.

No issues, easy registration. Although, there are no cameras inside. Not really safe.

My experience with the ExtraSpace Storage facility at 9810 Pulaski Hwy in Baltimore has been excellent. Carissa and Stephanie (Manager & Assistant Manager) are always friendly and helpful. They were very pleasant when I first rented and showed me all around and allowed me to view various sized units. Both of them have continued to provide very pleasant and courteous service. I look forward to seeing them when I stop by. Access has always been easy, the unit is clean, no bugs and no safety issues yet in over 6 months.I rent a climate controlled unit. I put boards down on the floor for extra protection anyway because everything I read said that concrete can sweat.I also rented a parking space for my motor home for a few months. I moved it for my convenience only. Access was a breeze. The staff was great to work with when I initially rented, all throughout my rental and even when I decided to stop renting the space for the motor home.Thanks Carissa and Stephanie, you are great!

If I could give 0 stars I would place falsely advertises their storage space. First of all you don’t get first month free second of all I paid for a 5x15 unit but got a 4 by 15 with a 36in doorway and they would not upgrade for the same price so I basically was beat my time and gas to remove my stuff because I didn’t get what I paid for.

Chip was awesome he called on Saturday morning and shared some details about the storage unit, he had such a warm personality that I enjoyed talking to him the first time. Our move went well, couldn’t remember where our unit was Chip left the office drove us straight to it. Bottom line his service was awesome

This review is from a first impression (if future experiences causes a change I will make sure to make the change):I stopped by the Pulaski Highway branch loaded with questions because I had need of a storage unit. Shannon was the Store Manager at the desk and I was pleasantly surprised by her jovial attitude and service. She had an answer for all of my questions (I came LOADED). She was patient with my incessant jabbering and never lost her friendly demeanor.When I was showed the potential unit I immediately noticed a lack of any odors and/or mess in the walkways. When we finally reached my unit and she opened it I was surprised to see the walls of the unit made of concrete and/or metal (my guess is an aluminum or steel alloy) with a clean floor.Most importantly, in my opinion, was her knowledge of storage dos and donts. I am a Biochemist so I understand why certain things should NOT be stored due to potential reactions; she demonstrated a level of knowledge that would suggest prior education or, at least, tons of experience.I consider myself fortunate that I happened to choose that particular branch as my first stop on my journey. Thank you Shannon for making it an easy decision!

I used Extra Storage Space for about 6 months. Shannon is wonderful. She was helpful when I was looking for a unit to rent and worked with me to figure out pricing. She was even more wonderful when I went to cancel my unit. The facilities were always clean. Never had any issues getting into the place or with the staff. I initially chose this place because it was close to my new place and the pricing was one of the best rates among other storage places. If I need to rent storage again, I will definitely return here.

I have checked out other storage units in the area and no one was as professional as JoAnn was. She met me at the door with a smile. She walked me around the facility and explained everything very clearly. I left very happy with my experience. This is how all customer service should be. I feel very confident that my stuff will be kept safe!

We stored our property in 2 separate Extra Space Storage units for 10 months. Both were VERY clean. We had no issues with the staff or our units. The staff were hospitable and polite. When we finally retrieved our property, we found no evidence of bugs or rodents. We were VERY pleased and releaved.

Shanon and Ms. Bernie are awesome. They made my experience quick and easy. They helped me find the perfect size unit within my budget and made the transactions efficiently. I definitely will recommend this storage facility to others.

I never used a storage facility before but knew I did not want to rent a unit in the city of Baltimore or in any city for that matter. I checked around my area for closeness and convenience but most of all one that was professional and clean. I found that here. Great Location first of all.And how many times have you gone to a business these days and found it to be run by either rude people, immature people that could care less orsomeone who you cannot understand. Well you will mot find that here. I was greeted by two professional employees.I was served by Bernie. Shewas professional, kind,warm, and knew her job well. Had me on my way in no time. I found out later she was just filling in and from a different facility. Too bad but Im sure the regular staff is similar. The place was clean and neat as well. great experience in a world where it is getting harder to come by.

I reserved online customer service was great in contacting shortly after. Staff was very helpful upon reserving, made sure I understood everything. Shannon help guide me through step by step! However, I was so in a rush as my day went on I didn’t notice until it was time to put my belongings in storage around 8pm. I notice rodent(mice) droppings as well as mice traps had I would’ve saw that before hand I would’ve never booked here. Very distasteful for me I will try to move my belongings as quick as possible, I would prefer not to have rodents on my furniture.

Extra Space has been great. Shannon Call the store manager is wonderful! She was so friendly and helpful while signing me up for my lease. The first time I used my storage (different day) I realized that the lock that I bought for it was too big, so I went into the office and Shannon was extremely helpful assisting me with a lock that does fit my storage unit. Dealt with Bernie and Chip. We had spoken with them over the phone and when we arrived, they had all of our information ready to go. We were given a choice of units to pick from. All of the units were clean and dry. The facility looked clean and well kept. We were happy to hear that there would be someone on site at all times. I called around to several storage spaces, and Extra Space was able to offer the best rate for two units that were side by side, which was very helpful. I dont know the area well, and Stephanie at the front desk was super helpful in terms of helping me navigate. She offered all sorts of information and was very Johnny-on-the-Spot when it came to taking care of us. The units are clean and climate-controlled, and the driveways are wide, so you can get a huge truck through with no issue and without having to ever turn back around to get out again. This was a positive experience, and I would recommend this storage facility to others. Make sure you call and ask about rates; I reached a salesman who gave me one rate, but once I indicated that I was going to call around, he gave me a lower rate.

I was looking for an affordable space close to home and this was the first result that came up. I expressed interest in a unit online and received a phone call in almost 10 seconds. I went to see the location shortly after and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They are very open and honest about their policies and procedures and will answer all questions fully and clearly as well. Easy access and the grounds/ units are so clean! You can’t beat the hours of access either. I’ve already told friends of mine to check them out if they are ever in need. Fully recommend this location on every account.
