Very good ice cream, but even better shakes! Very beautiful and nice establishment. Went here after a filling meal from the Midland Brewing Company. I ordered the cookie dough shake and it was very delicious. Only downside was the straw was a little to small to pick of the cookie dough bites, so I just acquired a spoon. Also, tried some other flavors that family members ordered, they too were also delicious! There is also a nice area outside that is very calming and peaceful hang out spot. They have astro turf, and picnic tables. Very family friendly location! Would definitely recommend.

Just moved to the area, and decided to stop in. They have a lot of flavors to choose from, and I picked the medium size which was 3 nicely packed scoops. I went with 1 scoop “Unicorn cake” and 2 scoops “peanut butter chocolate chip cookie dough”. My daughter got the “Monster cookie” their ice cream Is so creamy and delicious!! We will definitely be back. Also behind the building is a beautiful setting, if the weather had been nicer, it would have been a nice place to sit and enjoy nature.

Oh, and they have toys for the kids to play with if you have any. Next to the rail trail, so you can easily walk or bike in too. Wish more businesses had trail access!

The best Ice Cream shop in town. The best location right off the rail trail. The back yard has a fire pit, is full of kids activities, and most importantly it is the most comfortable place to enjoy a cup or cone in the county. They make sure it is always family friendly and have amazing involvement in the community. They take great pride in having a clean facility, fresh product, and provide customer service 2nd to none. The only reason why I am hesitant to brag too much is because If I tell everyone how great it is, they may become too busy or run out of ice cream!!!!!

What a great place, to find on a great night after a movie with some girlfriends. Their ice cream choices are awesome and the outdoor area is amazing. Great chairs and tables and picnic area and play areas for the kids just like a park. Love this place. The only thing I might suggest is a way for people to read what ice creams are on the freezers before waiting in the long line to order. The customers are blocking that and its really hard to choose because you cant see whats available

Nice ice cream shop. I really wanted a Strawberry Sundae but they only had the strawberry jam for a topping instead of real berries in juice. That jam is fine for toast, but not on ice cream.

Love this place. Its often busy, but you can take your kids and play outside. The ice cream is wonderful and there are some really nice kids that serve you, and lots of them!

Great ice cream with a truly extensive selection of flavors. Free WiFi and all you have to do for the password is look on the wall. The sitting area outback is wonderfully shaded and has some playground equipment for the kids.

Cottage Creamery is a nice ice cream shop that stays open year round. Although I prefer the mix-ins of Great Lakes Ice Cream Co, Cottage Creamery has good flavors to pick from that are sure to please everyone. Located right next to Midland Brewery and connected to the Rail Trail, Cottage Creamery makes for a great stop on a warm summer day. Inside is rather cramped, but they have plenty of seating and space outdoors. My only complaint is that they tend to run out of ice cream on the first several nice days each spring/summer, but thats a hard situation to plan inventory for.

Great place for a nice, cool treat on a summers evening. Staff was friendly, ice cream was delicious and lots of outdoor seating. There were lots of kids but with all the seating we were able to find a quieter spot 😊If you are in the Midland area this should be on your list of stops.UPDATE: stopped in Wednesday evening (May 2018) with the line out the door! They moved us pretty quickly and they have A LOT of ice cream choices! Still friendly staff but parking is a little congested but since the ice cream is so good be sure to attempt it!

The Peanut Butter Chip Malt was delightful and refreshing. We sat in the back outdoor seating area and enjoyed the summer breezes. Will return soon to sample other favorites and walk the rail path.

Its right off the rail trail, very friendly, good selection of ice cream, warm drinks for the winter. Just found it today, will update as time goes on.Here in the spring now, outdoor seating is nice, ice cream delicious and a welcome snack after riding the trail. Place is still clean and well kept. There is a bike mending station for filling tires and adjusting things. Great place.

I was there for an ice cream social/political event held for Representative Gary Glenn, so the Cottage Creamery was very busy. The ice cream is rich, and lots of different flavors. They also have Coke products available. The back yard that customers can go out to is well shaded, and is easily accessible from the Rail Trail that runs behind.

A great little ice cream place, with a lot of flavors. You can get to it right from the Rail Trail, so its a nice place to take a break from your run or bike ride and relax. Theres seating in the back which is shaded, or if you want to get out of the heat, the indoor seating is air conditioned.

By far the best ice cream creamery in Michigan, when youre there try there coconut almond, ice cream it is their number one seller and its the best. they carry hometown ice cream that is made in Ohio. It seems to be creamier than anybody elses that Ive ever had
