Well lets see.... brought a 2006 Honda Accord in for a clutch replacement, center axel replacement and a few odds and ends. Poor Sergio, two of his shop techs came down with COVID at the same time setting the shop back days and days. Come to find out Sergio had to bring in community help (techs he knew) so he could continue to service the vehicles he had already taken on. It took a bit for them to complete the job for me, that was including a snag or two (its a 2006 New England driven Honda). Sergio was very fair with the charges as he also took into consideration the amount of time the vehicle was in his possession. He also sat and talked shop for a bit. Very personable. Will go back.

I would like to share my experience about this place:1. They are really good at their job (they are not only professional but also experienced)2. Absolutely this is a job ( business), but they dont just care about money they really try to help you. For example, the manager spent near 1 hour to find an autopart store out of state to buy a TCM for my car at a good price ( they do customer satisfaction at the highest level...not just pretending help by a fake smile)

Ill say this. They are thorough. When you get your vehicle back you can be confident that nothing was missed. My truck runs better than before and the vibration Ive been chasing for 4 years is gone. And thats not even why I took it in. Highly recommended.

Car guys working on cars and Jeeps. Thanks to these guys my Jeeps clutch feels sooo much better... previous owner claimed s brand new clutch was put in... These guy corrected all that was wrong and my Jeep world is closer to being right.. Sergio is knowledgeable and honest and I literally want to hang out at his shop all the time... 😆

Having done ALL my own repairs for the last 60 years, I was not quite sure what to expect! My first meeting with Sergio to explain my problem was very up lifting, Sergio explained his thoughts and what his plan of attack would be to verify the problem. He explained what options I had as well. Sergio is an excellent communicator. He does not need to think what to say next. This alone reflects the professional that he is and how he runs the shop!I would have expected this type of service 40 years ago but not now in 2021! Very pleased to still see this is the case!After the initial problem, others surfaced that had no connection to the original one. Sergio was very accommodating in getting these resolved as well.Bottom line: my car runs and shifts better than when picked up new.I highly recommend AAMCO of Milford for professional repair of your vehicle at this service shop. Had some car trouble, called Sergio on a Thursday night after 5, he called me back about 10 min later. Was able to bring my car in to the shop the next day, he took a look at it, couldnt find an issue, kept it for a few days and with all his crew looking at it, finally found the problem, fixed it and my car drives great! This was my first time here & I will definitely be coming back! Thank you to Sergio & the rest of the guys!

I had some work done to my Silverado which I needed done ASAP. Not only was it done in a timely manner it was done to a standard that was above and beyond what I ever would have asked for. The owner took into consideration the urgency of my situation and got it done. Exceptional work, customer service, integrity and respect. I would recommend this place to anyone. Had my transmission blow on my way to work. The staff at aamco took it the next morning and started right away. Now the trucks transmission runs better than before. They were very professional and would even text me updates and pictures throughout the entire process. 10/10

I’m a very handy guy when it comes to cars and motors and anything in that category, except transmissions, I’ve always dreaded the day a transmission was giving me an issue, well I had an issue in my 1988 Chevy 2500 Silverado, she’s all original survivor and I’m extremely protective over her and my cars, so I heard the one of my very good friends and co workers of this place, Sargio was extremely helpful as he has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this type of work and just anything in general, him and his team went above and beyond what I needed and fixed my transmission and starter issues, even cleaned and recoated my transmission making it protected and look brand new, if you need anything done not just transmission work on your car or truck especially the antiques, you go here and ask for Sargio!

The best Transmission service and best technicians. Super happy with there work and I will be going to Aamco for all my car care needs. I must mention the service manager Sergio is super amazing and is super knowledgeable about transmissions in all aspects of vehicles. The technicians are amazing both of this location and the Manchester location as the Manchester location rebuilt my transmission and so far the transmission is running good it is having some technical issues that we are still working out and Aamco and Sergio are more than happy to honor the guarantee in which I got with my transmission rebuild. I have decided that all of my vehicle care needs Weather minor from oil changes to tuneup anything in between shocks, struts and all my transmission repairs. I will be definitely going to Aamco in Amherst New Hampshire I highly recommend Aamco to all my friends and followers. They deserve the five stars that were able to give them here however they deserve 10+ stars for their work and dedication with everyone’s vehicles and with their patience in dealing with warranty companies as they had to deal with one that I had for three months and their patients was amazing and they still got the job done and done right. I have to make a special note of thanks to Sergio and the team of technicians at this Aamco in Amherst New Hampshire as they had to deal with the warranty company for my van for three months and in the end we still had to open a line of credit and have the transmission rebuilt however Sergio was able to work everything in so that it would fit within our credit and we didn’t have to spend anymore out-of-pocket right away. This Aamco and Sergio gave us an awesome deal on our transmission rebuild and I know that the type of job that we had done typically cost so much more but this Aamco and Sergio was super fair and super nice in helping us in our unique situation. Came in to have my transmission checked out because another Aamco seemed to do a shoddy job. The owner Sergio was very more than just friendly but very accommodating. He gave a time to come back to check out the car free of charge. Once done he gave me some water and chatted and because I was new to the New England, talked about the area. After the experience with the Aamco in Portland Oregon I was turned off to Aamco but this shop has redeemed my trust in Aamco.

Very professional, respectful, and finished the work quickly. As a young woman going into an auto shop I dont get this most places, so I will definitely go to Sergio again.

Very friendly and extremely fast but had a complete disregard for covid protocols. No mask wearing or any type of sanitary procedures. I almost left. Ended up finding a different shop in Nashua that was extremely safe and $60 less.

The staff at AAMCO in Milford, NH was fantastic! I can’t say enough! I had trouble with my Cadillac transmission that was out of warranty. They made accommodations to get my car in quick! Went in for transmission kicking hard and had issues with repair but they found me another cheap transmission and didnt charge me for the labor of the new transmission to help with the cost

I bought my car in for a new transmission about six months ago. My car ended up staying at Sergios for a month. Needless to say, it was frustrating for us; what should have been a 5 day job took about a month. In the end, Sergio did make things right which is why I give him 4 stars!

I had a transmission problem, and was recommended to go here by my mechanic. I normally avoid corporate chain mechanics due to them being over priced and have a salesmen approach. I had a good idea what the problem was, and explained that to the person working. Long story short, it didnt take long for him to talk about dropping the transmission and taking it apart. It would possibly be anywhere from $1400-$2500 to complete the job but would need to assess it further. I ended up taking it to a local transmission shop (by the way with great reviews) and it was fixed in a day for under $600.

Amazing place. You will get honesty from these techs. They went above and beyond for me. When any other place would’ve sold me thousands of dollars of unneeded work, they said all they needed to do was tighten up some bolts.

I took my 4 speed to get rebuilt. It was rebuilt in a timely manner and at a great price. Will definitely take my transmission work to them in the future.

I would not recommend this shop! My husband knew the owner which is why we used this shop, but we had a terrible experience. We were told we needed a full rebuild which we did and also purchased the warranty. We had to take the vehicle back 2 times which was incredibly inconvenient. Both times they found issues that they said were due to faulty parts. We moved to another state and during the cross-country drive the transmission began knocking. Since we bought the warranty we were able to take it to a new shop. The new shop told us that there were several parts that were causing the problems because they were either used or never replaced and that they would need to rebuild the transmission. The Amherst shop had to pay for the parts since the warranty was purchased from them. They delayed authorizing the parts request which left us without our car for the 4th time! We have now had our car back for 2 months and have not had any problems. The owner, Dave was rude and not very helpful during this process. I would stay away from this shop and in retrospect I wish I would have listened to the other 1 star reviews!

Awesome service and prices. From helping me with an old bug that I had, to keeping up with the maintenance on my new Honda, I always feel like my car is taken care of at AAMCO.

Over 2 months I had 9 visits to 4 mechanics for a noise that was getting worse. I was told everything from my rear differential was bad but keep driving to 100% confidence by the dealer my transmission was shot. The guys at Aamco in Amherst immediately ruler out the transmission with their computers but didnt send me away until addressing the noise of my concern. A few rubber washers and hose clamp later and the noise subsided. Nice to have found a place where I was treated well and they didnt price gouge. Ive been recommended them to all my friends.

Awesome service, brought my 06 jeep here to repair a few issues i was having with it while on vacation. Repaired all of my issues, and got me back on the road in time to get back home in the midwest and helped me get a good deal on a rental so it didnt ruin my trip. the lady working the desk was extremely helpful.

My experience with aamco was excellent. I had work done to my audi A6, they did my water pump, timing belt, and timing chain along with all around brakes. I am very satisfied with the work they performed, will definitely be coming back for future repairs

They will over charge you on parts and labor! More expensive than the dealer. You think youre getting a good deal when youre not. Parts are more than the dealers cost, and they will charge you more labor then what it calls for. Dont trust them, they dont run a honest shop.

First, when I brought my car in, the manager told me they would have the car done in 3 days. It ended up taking well over a week. But that would only drop the recommendation down to four stars.What really dropped it down to one star was the craftsmanship. Less than a month after the first repair, the transmission failed due to them not installing it properly. Worse yet, they tried to blame it on a failed part. I called the dealer who said they never saw that part fail under normal conditions. After battling with them for three months, they finally agreed to pay to repair. I then had to bring the car back to fix leaks on FIVE separate occasions (axle seals, gasket seals) throughout the following year. When the sixth leak happened at 13 months, they said it was out of warranty. They strung me along on the poor workmanship until their touted warranty was no longer.Never ever again. Go to a more professional transmission repair place!!! Save yourself the frustration and stress that I went through!!!

Took my 2013 Yukon to the dealer and was told I needed a transmission.A freind told me about getting a second opinion at Aamco so I looked it up and made an appointment to drop it off.Later thst day I got a call from Tena the store owner and was ecstatic to find out it was an wiring harness issues.So 4800 from the dealer to 672.00 at Aamco.Thanks Tena for being honest! I was having concerns about a transmission noise on my truck.  I ended up calling his shop for advice on the matter.  The owner named Sergio answered the phone and I proceded to explain my transmission concern.  Sergio took the time to completely understand my issue and gave me complete information on what might be going on.  He was so polite and helpful. I began voicing all my concerns including costs and what to do.  He made time and answered every question I had with confidence without trying to sell me anything.  He said if I have the time, swing by the next day and he would look at it.  I went there the next day and he immediately came out with his diagnostic tool and he drove my truck around doing various driving, braking, and accelerating techniques while collecting data to share with me.  He explained all the data and told me his professional opinion.  He said that everything should be fine for awhile and I have nothing to worry about all while maintaining his professionalism and still not trying to sell me anything I didnt need.  I highly recommend Sergios Aamco and will 100% be going to him for any transmission/car issues in the future and will recommend anyone else to do so!
