Had a fantastic experience with Pruven. Broke down on I95 and called for a tow. Bill Junior arrived within 15 minutes and brought me to the train station where I could catch a train to New Jersey. Because it was Sunday I was at their mercy and put my trust in them to fix my car at a reasonable cost.Monday morning I got a call that detailed the work that needed to be done and the car was ready on Tuesday. Tuesday morning I got back on the train and when I arrived they were there to pick me up and bring me to the car.The serpentine belt that had come apart was presented as well as another tension “something or other”. When I get home I checked with my local mechanic on the pricing and he quoted me a range that was actually above what they had charged me.What could’ve been a very expensive nightmare turned out to be a low-cost minor hassle.I highly recommend this firm. Real good people.

Ive been going to Pruven Performance since 2017 and they are the best. They provide accurate diagnostics and honest advice on repairs. If you are mechanically inclined, you will actually enjoy bringing your car to them. If you have limited automotive knowledge, you will be comfortable with their explanation of services. I have my daughter go there and I trust them completely, knowing she wont come home with some outrageous story of woe. Great shop. I was having a hard time getting my Tacoma to pass emissions, and they were able to get it figured out for me much cheaper than other shops I tried. Been a customer ever since.

I have a 2011 Santa Fe and my wife has a 2014 Sonata. We have been bringing both cars to Pruven Performance since 2015 for routine maintenance as well as unforeseen issues. I am impressed with their good customer service and straight forward approach towards maintenance and repairs. They stick to their schedule so I can always plan my drop off and pick up in advance which helps keep my family’s busy schedule on track. If something unplanned happens they are always quick to respond and they have towed my car in twice which saved me time. I used to go to the dealership but feel I get more value when I take my cars to Pruven.

Bill (owner) has continued to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and professional over the years. Unlike other mechanics I’ve been to, he takes the time to explain issues and options before knocking me over the head for thousands of dollars. Most recently, before purchasing a BMW 535 from a used car dealer, I had Bill do a once over to ease my mind. He immediately found the car needed a new water pump which saved me over $2000. Bill did not even charge me a dime for his time and diagnosis. Would highly recommend to anyone and do all the time. Top notch

Bill was absolutely awsome ended up getting a flat down the street from them on a Sunday. Rolled right up he came out super prompt and friendly since the shop wasnt open he offered to tow my van to a walmart auto service 15 mins away for a super reasonable price he was super kind to my husband and bestfriend made good convo and made the stressfull situation such a wonderfull one so thanks a ton bill!!!!!!

Back in April I had purchased a Subaru Legacy that had had some purely cosmetic modifications made to it—Stretched wheels, lowered stance, the whole nine. It was great to drive for the summer, but I ran into issues like bottoming out when pulling into certain driveways and always checking to make sure pieces of the car were still attaches underneath. Recently I purchased new, all-season tires and brought the car to Pruven to have them put on with hopes that I’d gain some natural height. When I spoke to Bill Sr. on the phone, he walked me through everything that would happen during the process and gave me an accurate quote on what the job would cost. A day after picking up my car, I had my first mechanical problem—something I had been warned about right after purchasing the vehicle. I had two misfires in the engine and the car could not be driven anywhere but to a shop, so I brought it back to Pruven. Again, Bill Sr. walked me through what was happening with the vehicle and gave me a handful of options. The following day, I went to pick up my vehicle and now it’s been running like brand new since. For all of my future endeavors, I will return to this place and will recommend that all of my friends and family do so as well.

I have reached 462,100 on my 2001 Honda CR-V with the original engine and it is still running strong! Pruven Performance has serviced my Honda since 2007 doing all the maintenance and repairs. I think they do it right and the results prove it.

I used to bring my 2011 BMW 328Xi to the dealer until I tried Pruven. Pruven uses OEM oil and filter for maintainence and geniune OEM parts for repair. The staff always shows me the old parts and points out how the part failed. At 107,000 miles my 3 series rides great!

It always sucks when your car breaks down on the side of the highway. These guys were able to come and tow my car within 15 minutes of calling. I decided to also have them do the work and I was not disappointed. They gave me a few price point options and Were able to fix my car within a few days.I would use them again. hopefully I wont have to

I had my 1967 Camaro garaged since 2006 and decided 2020 was the year to take it out and get it back on the road. Needless to say there was much work required and after research I chose Pruven Performance to get my 327 back in shape. The recommendations I received from my friends were spot on. The staff at Pruven diagnosed all the mechanical and electrical systems on the car at a reasonable price. Together we agreed to a scope of work that included purging 14 year old fuel from the gas tank to repairing the electrical systems.No detail no matter how small was overlooked. The staff at Pruven are knowledgeable, friendly and most of all trustworthy. I am impressed with the results, now my red Camaro is ready for the road.

I had a check engine light for my Infiniti FX35. I went to two different garages and they failed to fix the problem. I brought it to Pruven and they fixs the problem

Brought my SUV for a noise emitted at the back, and after spending approximately $7K (replaced rotors, pads, shocks sway bars, etc.), the clanking noise at the back remained. A new problem surfaced after the repairs were made (front end shaking at 65MPH). Owner Bill washed his hands by stating his famous line: Sorry you feel we couldnt meet your expectations. Absolutely pathetic. Will take my SUV to a more reputable mechanic.

Completely satisfied. Quality service. Services delivered as promised. They listen to me when I describe what needs to be done. They fix it right the first time. Very thorough. They alert me to other items which require attention, and also let me know when something does not require urgent care, so that I can budget properly. I highly recommend, especially if the successful operation of your business depends on your vehicle working at optimum efficiency.

Great service at a good price.

This shop is a rip off. They never pick up the phone. Caused my turbo to blow on the dyno and they did some electrical work that caused a short in my car. I would not recommend this shop to any one. Do your research Im not the only person who has been burned by this shop.

Committed to buy a car then tried to bully me on price, then THREATENED me and my company when I would not comply with his bad business practices. STAY AWAY

Pruven performance is a waste of time if youre looking for any type of performance. The business makes its money by having contracts with other businesses for repairs. If you want to go fast and keep the car reliable go elsewhere.

Ive owned a few cars, cobalt, vw, and currently a honda. Anytime Ive had to do any repairs, Pruven has always had the best price and fastest turn around time! The customer service is great and I always recommend them to others!

They charged money for work that wasnt completed and then said they werent able to do the work. Total rip off and would strongly recommend listening to the other bad reviews as this place was a total joke.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST - STAY FAR FAR AWAY - this place is a CON SHOP - Bill the owner is a snake and a liar DO NOT trust a word he says ! and his workers are completely incompetent.i brought my wifes bmw 328xi in for a transmission and transfer case repair ~4,000$ and got the car back and it was not running right. they said it was the tires. i swapped all 4 and it just got worse. i went back and Bill would NOT help me unless i paid them more. i then took the car to BMW of Bridgeport and they confirmed the job was done WRONG. i went back to pruven and STILL they would do nothing. i had to resort to filing a claim with my credit card but it still is not resolved.DO NOT GO THROUGH WHAT I DID AND SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY - THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!
