He took such great care of my car and although he couldnt identify the source of the noise, he gave my car an oil change and replaced a recall part on the spot! He took such great care of me and my car that I can honestly say I was in the best hands for safety! Brought my car in for an oil change and let the service team know that my tire was low on tire pressure. They were able to find a nail in the tire and patch it up with no extra charge. Love the service, they did more than expected and its definitely appreciated.

George in sales was a pleasure to meet and work with. I bought the car with the understanding that it is an As Is purchase. The dealership advertises 26-point inspection so I happily drove the car home. A day later, the check engine light did come on with a P0420 code (catalytic converter issue). The occurrence of an error code being so soon after I bought the car left a bad taste in my mouth, but the owner of Dan Perkins personally reached out to me and offered to assist me. Im grateful for the honesty and integrity that they have shown me.
Always excellent service. Initially brought in a new to me used Outback with check engine light on. Dealer where I purchased it (out of state and not a Subaru dealer) could not solve issue after multiple attempts. Was considering having it qualified as a lemon. Then I thought Id give Dan Perkins service department a try. They figured it out first time! Will be returning for regular service from now on.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! We were having an intermittent problem with the A/C on our 2014 Crosstrek, and the touch screen on the radio had areas that werent responding. I figured that the touch screen issue would likely be minor (an adjustment, reset, cleaning), but the A/C could potentially be expensive depending on what they found. I also noticed that the vehicle was pretty loud when I drove it to the dealership.The techs examined the car and found that the touch screen was actually defective (meaning that the entire unit needed to be replaced), and the noise I had heard while driving to the dealership was caused by rear bearings that needed to be replaced. They also found a problem with the front bushings. All together I was looking at over $3000 before even looking at the A/C (which is the thing I thought might be expensive, and the reason why I brought the car in for service in the first place). Sounds like a lead-in for a 1-star review, right?So heres what happened next... I mentioned to my service advisor (Shana) that many of the problems were associated with parts that I didnt feel should have gone bad so quickly (especially in a Subaru which pretty much lasts forever). She said that shed do what she could regarding pricing, and would work with her management and Subaru corporate to see if they might be able to help with anything.Between Shana, the management team at Dan Perkins, and Subaru corporate, they found a way to cover more than half of the repair cost, allowing me to get everything done within my budget.They kept the vehicle for quite a while because the A/C issue was intermittent and they wanted to test it as much as they could. (It also took a while for them to receive the replacement radio.) They recharged the Freon, and after more than a week of checking for leaks and other failures, we concluded that the recharge had likely fixed the problem.I live about 30 minutes from the dealership, so rather than making both me and my wife drive there to pick up the car, they sent a driver so only one of us had to go. And of course, on the drive home, my wife found that there was still a problem with the A/C.Now it would have been nice if they had found the A/C problem earlier, but it was intermittent, and its hard to fix what you cant find. I called Shana and she put a hold on a new compressor (to make sure that the repair could be done as quickly as possible in the event that we needed to replace it). She also arranged for us to have a loaner for as long as we needed it. And when they determined that the best course of action was to replace the compressor, Shana even found a way for them to cover the cost!This process could have gone bad at any point given how many issues I had. But Shana always kept me informed (answering emails during and after hours) and I really feel like the whole team went above and beyond for me. Why would anyone have their car serviced anywhere else?

Recently when I went for service, I was very satisfied, but the quote for the 15,000 to 18,000 mile service was lower than the price I had to pay. I was not told about the additional fees that would be incurred. I think a final total should be shown before the customer agrees to this service.
I bought a Subaru Forester that listed Blind Spot Monitoring as one of the features, but after the purchase I realized that the feature actually wasnt on the car.They leverage their lifetime warranty as a way to topple on extra services during the loan process (unless you buy service x, your warranty can easily be voided for lack of proper maintenance).

I was a walk-in for an oil change and they were able to work me in for the complete 90,000 mile check up without an appointment. When it turned out they were missing a part that was needed, they offered me a rental car at their expense and promised they would have my car finished by lunchtime the following day. Sure enough, I received a call around 1PM that my car was ready for pick up.
My car was taken in for service quickly and the problem was fixed correctly They took the time to explain what the problem was and how they repaired it. They also performed a free safety check. i am very happy with the services they provided and will continue to do business with this dealership
I find the service department to be unpleasant. I took my brand new car in because the computer in the dashboard was not working, they said they could not fix it and to bring it back and leave it, after three days i got it back and the computer in the dashboard is fixed but now the dashboard rattles, and they are an hours drive for me, I am very unhappy. When ever I have done there, twice now, I am treated roughly, things are not adequately explained, it is ilke a factory setting where i am made to feel like I am in th way. I definately need to find a place local to where I live and one that treats me like a person. I go to the one in Milford because I bought my car there and the buying experience was great, but the service experience is terrible.

Hamid Farahani REALLY took care of us!! He was a pleasure to deal with and made buying my son his first car a WONDERFUL experience. No haggling. Lots of enthusiasm and he delivered everything he said he would. Even got him to throw in a large bow to put on the car to make it the ultimate gift for our son. It was such a little gesture in the grand scheme of things, but it was the perfect, classy touch to make sure we were satisfied in every way possible. Jeff was wonderful helping us buy a new car. No pressure. Friendly. Helpful. He took us for a test drive on the highway and back road. Jeff wanted to make sure we were comfortable in the car. Nick and Jeff got us financing at a good rate considering our credit. Jeff went over the car showing us all about the bells and whistles of our new purchase. Nick went over all the paperwork so we understood everything. Subaru has a great warranty and for a few dollars more we extended it for 6 years. Even if the computer goes it is covered 100%! All wheel drive is what attracted us to buying a Subaru but Jeff and Nick helped us to get into the car. The experience was great. Marc Mesidore and the service team worked hard to get an 18 month old part covered under warranty by the supplier, as it failed after less than 4000 miles. The replacement was done along with a new alignment, all at no cost to me. Great effort and support!
The worst experience I have ever had ! The day I went I visited many car dealerships! This was the worst service I have ever experienced ! It was like I was bother to them just to look at cars ! It doesn’t even deserve one star ! Just awful ! ! ! I would not recommend this dealership to anyone if the service was that bad I could only imagine the financial end of things ………

I recently visited Dan Perkins Subaru for a service problem with my Impreza. Yes the problem was inconvenient and annoying but the story has a happy ending. At the end of the day things happen and the most important thing is that in the end everything is taken care of. Dan Perkins Subaru has the best customer service I have ever encountered. Mainly the GM Avrom, Service manager Mark and a sales person named Elmer G. When they heard of my issues they made sure everything was taken care of exceptionally and also made sure I was taken care of due to my inconvenience. The Dan Perkins service desk is always very courteous, helpful and works hard to accommodate when it comes to scheduling appointments. It can be hard to get appointments due to the popularity of the business. The parking situation for pick up and drop off is tenuous and spaces are scarce but that is no fault of the workers.

While I did get a good price for my vehicle,the trade-off has been a less than stellar experience in getting trade-in taken care of(they lost one of the keys) and I have needed to stay on top of dealer to get plates. Now going into 3rd month and I need to babysit the dealer to ensure the process is getting done.I would have paid more elsewhere for a better overall experience.Update: as mentioned previously, I’ve had to stay on top of dealer and after another misstep on their end with DMV plates were finally sent to Dan Perkins. Unfortunately they sat on them for some time. 5 months total to get this squared. The dealer had offered free oil changes and other accommodations which were never realized.Service Dept Experience:The service dept is solid. The team is friendly, helpful and thorough in their work. Unfortunately they are very busy and if you need anything done it’s at minimum and 1 1/2 week wait. Perhaps I’ve had luck with previous dealers, but I’ve not consistently needed to book out that far with previous dealerships.It appears that Dan Perkins is very successful overall, which should be applauded. It just feels as if it’s at the expense of the customer.

I have been pleased with the service I’ve received for the past 5 years with my Subaru Crosstrek. I take very good care of my Crosstrek and follow the maintenance schedule accordingly. The next 5 years will dictate how well Dan Perkins holds up to their promise of top notch service at reasonable prices.
It took me a month to get an appointment for an oil change. I was told when I dropped my Car off it would be 90 min. After 2 hours I came back was told it was almost done. I was very displeased and was confronted by the service manager Mike (Im not sure if thats right) who explained someone called out. My parts werent there ... and then gave me my paperwork saying my keys were on the way. 15 min later .. If I didnt already over pay for the service contract which was also not explained to me properly and I was told before I bought the car the brakes would be fixed which they were not. Im will never ever reccomend buying a car or having service done here.

I dropped off my BRZ so they could diagnose and replace a bad throw out bearing. David Ortiz was the service advisor I worked with. I had to leave the car with them for two full days and was given a loaner car. I received updates by phone call in a professional manor. The parts were replaced and the car drives much better. Ill keep this place in mind for any future service or sales needs.Also shout out to the parts department for great service.

They sell cars with bad transmissions to local crooks and those crooks resel the car with the broken transmission to the poor, called both of them include the guy who posted the ad and the dealer because we had to go inside the dealer get some receipts to transfer the car, it even had dealer dollar sign on it they washed the car inside the dealer as well for us, after registering the car we only drove the car for 40 min before breaking down, subaru says they not involved because it was a private sale but whole thing was shady we out on a transmission now and no one offers to help.
