If I could rate with a 0 stars I would! I just bought a used car from here a 2 weeks ago and discovered that the windshield wipers are shot along with a back window that wont even open. This car was supposedly gone over with a fine toothed comb in the service center! My sales rep once he made the sale has given me nothing but this is above by pay grade. Not very helpful. Have tried working with 2 sales mangers now that wont stand by the supposed work that was done to the car. Cant wait to see what other surprises are in store for me !!!! My suggestion is to go to another dealership as this one once they get your money they could care less.
Trying to get a live human to schedule an appointment for service ;For 2 months I have been calling and never once have I gotten a live person at the service department. I leave messages and they always call me back when Im unavailable. Very frustrating to say the least!
Although I purchased my 2021 Toyota Prius from Hertrich last November, I never learned how to coordinate my iPhone with the cars computer screen, nor use the various features. As my salesperson was no longer at Hertrich, I called and left a message for Raquel Rocky Mickelson. She immediately responded and scheduled an appointment to review the computer systems. I can not offer sufficient praise to describe Rockys incredibly patient help in teaching me about the systems & helping me install them - all the more noteworthy since she did not realize any monetary benefit from helping me. I only wish I had purchased the car from her in the first place, and highly recommend that anyone looking for a new Toyota make an appointment with Rocky. She is the very best!

Was scheduled to have oil change, tire rotation and balancing today at 3:30 pm. Got there around 3:15 pm. I waited for almost 3 hours and got my car keys 10 minutes before 6. I dont know about you but, does it take 2 1/2 hours to do an oil change on a 2018 4runner? 2 1/2 hours for oil change! I dont even wait that long at my doctor’s clinic.

I was very concerned with social distancing at Hertrich Toyota prior to my visit for my Toyota check up. The service group could not have done anymore possible to relieve my worries. From beginning to end, the process of purchasing my lease vehicle was very seamless. Aaron Smucker, the Sales Consultant was very professional and affable, and Sam the Business Manager was very upfront with information, and was very easy to work with. We did have a bit of a wait between working with Aaron and then going to Sam, but this was due to a computer problem. I would definitely recommend Hertrich Toyota to my friends.
I had a very good experience. From the moment I drove my vehicle into the garage and then out within 2.5 hrs. One of the employees Bruce Williams checked me in and was such a kind person showing me where everything was (lounge, restroom, phone chargers, coffee, vending machine) while I waited for my vehicle to have the recall on my Rav4 completed. The waiting area is very nice, quiet and comfortable. Thank you so much for excellent customer service! Oh yeah, and the car salesmen Ben Spears was super nice!! Highly recommend this place!
HORRIBLE SERVICE CENTER GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE PLEASE!!On Friday October 9, 2020 I contacted Hertrich Toyota regarding an issue with my 2013 Highlander that I purchased NEW from your saleslot back in 2014. I explained that the highlander (98k) would run fine sometimes then other times the check engine light and trac off light would come on. I used my personal scan tool to read the codes which were P0300 Multiple Cylinder Misfire P0302Cylinder #2 Misfire P0304 Cylinder #4 Misfire. Since, cylinder 2, 4 and 6 are easy to get to. I pulled the plugs and they were in good condition. I tested thecoils and they tested good as well. When I disconnected the battery and restarted the engine no light or misfiring occurred and the vehicle ran great with noissues. At that point I knew it was an intermittent electrical problem. I got in contact with Ms. Hope in your service department (Hertrich Toyota) and scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning. I disconnected the battery again and no misfire or codes occurred. I drove the vehicle from Selbyville, DE to your service center 44 miles (75mins) away.Not once during the drive there, did the vehicle misfire or the check engine light come on nor were there any other issues. I started and turned the vehicle off multiple times in the service lot to try to throw the codes and I was unsuccessful. On my ticket I dropped with the keys I wrote in the description to have a technician call so I could explain the issues. Mr. Bruce contacted me (October 10 @ 8:28am) and I explained what had been going on and that there was no check engine light on as of now and it was an INTERMITTENT issue. He explained they would have to diagnose to possibly find what was causing this intermittent issue. I received a call back from Mr. Bruce (October 10 @ 3:17pm) and he said that the technician started the vehicle and it did not throw any codes. They let the vehicle sit to try again later that day. Mr. Bruce called back (October 12 @ 8:40am) to say that further diagnosing is needed because when the technician started the vehicle later, he confirmed the misfiring and check engine light issue. Also, they needed approval for more diagnosing time which I gave the go ahead. Mr. Bruce calledback (October 12 @ 4:59pm) to state that further diagnosing lead them to a faulty PCM and the cost was roughly $1,100. I gave the okay to move forward with the PCM replacement and to hold on to the original just in care. Ordering and receiving the PCM would take 3 to 5 days. Friday came around I decided to make a call to see if thepart came in since we were traveling through the area later that day. Mr. Bruce said they got the part but the internet was down and they could not finish the replacement so the vehicle would not be ready until their internet was back up and running. My wife was passing by the service center yesterday (October16 @ 2:00pm) ahead of myself and had to grab a personal item from the vehicle.That’s when she was informed of the other issues. I never received a call so I stopped in to see what was going on. Mr. Bruce explained when they replaced the PCM it fixed the misfire issues BUT NOW there is another issue and the car won’t start. He went on to try and explain that it was a broken valve spring. He proceeded to tell me that a broken valve spring can cause intermittent issues depending on how hot or cold the engine is. Yet in the 44 mile drive to the service center where the vehicle was started cold in Selbyville and would have been hot by arrival, it never had any issues. Bruce stated that the next step would be to spend roughly $6,350 on replacing the vehicles motor because hecould not guarantee that fixing the broken spring would solve the issue. At this point nothing is adding up from where I am sitting. This is also not adding up in your favor to the multiple sources I have reached out to at this point. So, I drove a vehicle 44 miles to your service shop for an electrical issue to be told a week later that my vehicle will not run at all now and needs a motor replacement.THINK TWICE before you go there!
Im new to the area and I had to get a front end alignment for my wifes Highlander. Thought I would give the dealership a chance. Reluctantly I made an appointment. Glad I did. We were greeted by Bruce Williams, service advisor for Hertrich Toyota. He made sure all four wheels of the Highlander where aligned. He washed our vehicle. And returned it back to us in know time at all. Rides great, now.My wife and I left feeling confident about Hertrich Toyota. Also about our service advisor Bruce. I came in to have my tire repaired. The service representative was courteous and polite. He took the time to explain my service contract and why it would not be covered under warranty. The issue with my tire was a puncture by a sliver of metal. He said they had never seen anything like it before. All in all it was a great experience. Thank you.

Hertrich was aware of my disastrous experience with my 2019 Rav 4. They were very helpful in locating another similar vehicle. They went out of their way to assist me with warranties, taxes, etc, that I had just paid for the first vehicle. Im glad I returned to this solid dealership. Shaun is an excellent sales person who knows all you will want to ask about, without ever being pushy.
Hello Hertrich. I would rate the service appointment as a five star overall. The only thing I have an issue with is what it cost for the cabin or air conditioner filter to be changed. It cost $32.00 for the little cloth filter and $32.00 to install it. When I got the car home I got the service manual out and found out how to disassemble the glove box and access the filter compartment. It took less than one minute to get to the filter. I personally think your rate for changing this filter was absolutely too much. $65.00 really? I will continue to get my car serviced with Hertrich for warranty reasons. I will also tell everyone I know to watch out for your labor rate on service jobs. If you charged me $32.00 to do a one minute job it is no telling what you charge for other more time consuming issues.

I had been very concerned about waiting while my car was being serviced, and am so grateful for all the health safety measures that Hertrich Toyota has taken. They wiped down the car interior, offered me a seat in a sanitized unused cubicle, and even had two pen cups at checkout: one for sanitized pens, and another for pens that people had used. Ed Morris was very efficient in all details of the sale. He was knowledgeable of all aspect of the Corolla and helpful in the tech setup of phone etc. In no way did I feel pressured unreasonably to make a decision. His offer to take the Corolla home for the night was helpful in my finial decision.

The Service Manager waited on me when he noticed I was waiting to check in. I was impressed with his excellent customer service as it seems we can no longer take that for granted in this day and age. Service was quick and I am glad we made our most recent purchase from them.
The sales consultants and managers were really easy-going. I got the sense that they were really just trying to help me decide rather than to close a sale. I couldve easily walked away and there would have been no pressure. But I did end up buying a car and I could not be more satisfied with my experience here.
I worked on the new car purchase with Nesh Patel and his sales manager, Kevin. They were always polite and informative and worked with me to provide a fair price. From the time of ordering the Camry Hybrid in a certain color to its arrival about 11 weeks later (as predicted), to the test drive and completion of the sale, I always felt well-cared for with no hidden agendas. I have driven the car now for one day and love it already. This is my third new car purchase from Hertrich, and I have praised their approach and kindness all three times. I never felt pressured, and they have been flexible in creating the terms of payment. Very pleased!

Went for 80,000 mile maintenance on my Toyota Tundra. Everything went smoothly, no surprises. I’ve had all my service done at Hertrich Toyota since I bought the truck there new in 2012. Had a recall on the side doors of our 2015 Sienna. Work was completed efficiently and in a timely manner. Service Dept kept in good communication with us letting us know promptly when we could pick it up. All done in a day and even gave us a car wash too!

If I could give Hertrich a negative number I would. Their vaunted customer service is a myth! I own a 2009 RAV4. I suddenly had s problem with the digital instrumentation. I called Hertrich and spoke to Hope. She seemed bemused by my request concerning getting some info before making an appt. info like can they fix or repair this problem. Ten minutes on the phone she finally said she would have a service tech call me. EIGHT days later no call back. I just tried calling them back. Five times from 3pm to 3:19 pm I called. And after ringing each time fir 1 min 27 seconds was dis connected each time. No one answered. THIS Is customer service? Anyone thinking of dealing w Hertrich on purchasing or service should think twice. And then go to another REPUTABlE dealership.

I was there a week ago and the person who waited on me took his good old time coming out to see what I needed. I was informed earlier I did not need a appointment to have the 5 month 5,000 mile offer by Toyota. I was misinformed and the assistant manager JADI informed me without an appointment I would have at least a three hour wait. I said I was willing to wait for a while but if I needed to go I would have to leave. He stated that the other six vehicles waiting for service since the morning needed done before mine. I asked if there were other places I could go. He said he thought there was one in Salisbury. I went home and made an appointment for the following Thursday. The gentleman I had on 10-25 could not have been any nicer and eager to help me. He was very thorough and explained everything to me about the offer and what would be done. Maybe his superior needs to take a lesson from his employee on how to treat customers. If not for us returning service customers, service management might not have jobs.

Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Made an appointment a week in advance and spoke to a salesperson 2 days before going to see a truck. Proceeded to drive almost 2 hours to get to the dealership to buy the truck just to get there and them tell me that they already sold it the day before. They did not notify me in any way, shape or form that they had sold the truck. Huge waste of time and energy.
I visited Hertrich Toyota to lease a new car. Craig was incredibly helpful and made me feel at-ease during the entire process. He explained everything to me step-by-step and even helped me speak on the phone to my insurance company during the setup. Once I received my car, Craig went out of his way to make sure I knew how everything worked, including helping me connect my phone to the cars bluetooth system. Throughout the entire process, I really felt respected and valued as a customer by all of the employees who helped me with my lease. Overall, I couldnt be more satisfied with the service I received from everyone at Hertrich Toyota, and I will certainly be doing business again with them in the future.

The only thing negative was recommending fuel treatment. A big part of purchasing was the 3 year service agreement with Toyota care. If this was a recommended service it should be covered under the agreement. Dont try selling something I dont need and thats what i felt was beng done.Everything else was great!Service was done and in a timely manner. Once again fuel service was recommended as well as tire v!balance and alignment. This was recommended before the car left the welcome center. It blows my mind how anyone can suggest service without ever entering or driving the car or looking at tire wear. Of course they knew how much it was going to cost upfront? I hope this isnt a circumstance where people who dont know are simply taken advantage of. Just not right. Things like this reflect where I buy and go for service. I thought the car was covered for 30,000 miles on recommended service, and it is not because the services suggested were not based on proper vehicle inspections. Real SLICK!

If she did not know the answer to a technical question, she was very fast to get an answer. She was very helpful, considerate, and did not sugar coat her responses... something I look for when buying anything retail. Linda was great. She explained all the features of my Corolla in detail. She even helped me set up all the apps in my car through my phone. She went above and beyond. She also did something no other sales person has done for me since Ive been buying cars, she called a month later to see how I was enjoying the car. That was great. Sales people usually only contact you after the sale if theres a problem. Otherwise you never hear from them again. Linda was not like that and I feel that makes all the difference. Its really nice when people actually care these days.
Salesman, General Manager are very interested in good Customer Service. There is never any pressure and they are sincere in satisfying the customer needs.
