Went here for the first time yesterday and I have nothing bad to say. I never write reviews for places but I felt like I had to for this beautiful store! I saw a lot of reviews about the woman who worked there being “judgey” but she was nothing but nice to me and my friends! I talked to her about what I was getting and she gave me advice on some things that were happening in my life. Great woman, great crystals, great prices, and a great store! Definitely will be coming back soon!!

Staff is very well versed and knows their stuff! This place is a hidden gem and has a beautiful selection. Will definitely make this a regular place to stop.

Really unique selection of crystals for very fair prices. For such a small shop, they really do cram a lot of good stuff in there too. Selection caters to all types, from casual buyers who arent looking to spend much, to mid ranged buyers who want something nicer, to buyers with money to spend and want something really unique. Really great spot for souvenirs if youre visiting or for something more spiritual!COVID restrictions and requiring an appointment can be inconvenient, so call ahead if you want to guarantee entry.Absolutely have a visit and look around, youre bound to find something you vibe with!

I love this place. On a rockhounding vacation I decided to drive almost 3 hrs out of the way to visit this shop and so glad I did. So awesome. If you love crystals and minerals this is an awesome little shop, really full of so much beautiful stuff. I could have stayed all day. And prices were really good. I thought I spent a lot more than I actually did. Rocks by the pound, crystals by the point, and minerals a many. Go to this place! Buy some awesome stuff. And be in awe of the amazing sights you will see in there and outside too. Its like a toy store for crystal collectors and rockhounds.

Reviews that deface the customer service here are simply fraudulent. If people would adhere to the business owners mask mandate, of which is very apparently displayed on the door as soon as you enter. I think youd find yourself in a more hospitable environment.Whether you chose to follow the rules of the establishment you walk into is up to you. However, dont expect to be greeted kindly when you cannot follow the simplest of rules. Grow up, mask up and follow the rules. This isnt your house. It is infact, the owners. And whether you agree or not, you should be expected to follow said rules while under her roof!All in all, Ive been going to Quartz Source for quite sometime. And the service I have been given is always kind, intelligent and courteous. The selection that is available is top tier. And the prices are more than fair. (If you know your stuff!) I could easily spend an hour walking around and looking what is in display.I can whole heartedly recommend Quartz Source to rock collectors and enthusiasts. There is simply no other.

My fiancé had been waiting a year to come to this store, what a disappointment for the both of us. The owner had a clear disregard for anyone elses feelings but herself as she was extremely cold, rude, condescending, and clearly wanted us out right from the start, telling us we needed to finish shopping as the store was closing for lunch. For people seeking comfort through something spiritual, especially like my fiancé experiencing grief over her younger brothers passing, this is just going to leave you feeling more empty. I am so glad we were encouraged to leave & decided not to spend our money supporting this hostility.

I hate being in a place where I feel like a burden, and that is how my daughter and I felt by the time we left. The woman was curt and snippy, and looking back I should have just left my items and not purchased. Sort of a bummer, this place is decent for stones and gifts, but when even a 15 yo says something about someone’s demeanor, it puts it into perspective.

Super awesome selection of everything rock and mineral related. I remember going here when I was a little kid and now I take my little rock enthusiast. ❤ We love it!Its a gem to have it here in Milford! (I am sure Im not the first one to make that pun😅)The woman who runs it is so kind friendly and knowledgeable.

Me and my daughter went to the Quartz Source about 2 weeks. What a huge disappointment. The lady was so incredibly rude I couldn’t believe it. If I had been the one paying I would have cancelled order but since my daughter was I couldn’t stop her in time. This lady wouldn’t interact, gave dirty looks to all the customers (5 other customers besides us), was condescending and rude when speaking to customers. This lady is the reason why people shop online I will never shop there again I used to shop here a lot for a few years about 5 years ago. Well now I will either find some where else, go to rock swaps or order online.

What a gem no pun intended but it didnt seem to me like it would matter. If you like crystal, stone or just things that are natural to this earth then you need to make an appointment. Covid safety, of course. I think you may find plenty of gems. Natures heaven can be found here

A bit expensive for certain stones but a very nice shop run by a very nice woman. Definitely a place to check out if you like stones and gems!

This was a really cool shop to visit, and they and a great collection of rocks, but their prices were WAY too high for what they were selling.

If I could leave less than 1 start I would. I checked the website and hours as well as peoples reviews. I saw a fair amount of negative reviews but decided to go regardless due to many positive reviews. I drove roughly 1 hour to the shop. There was one person in the shop other than the owner and a sign that said a mask was required. I walked in the shop(mask on) was told that I needed an appointment to come in the shop. I was confused and initially decided to leave without further inquiry but given I just drove an hour to get to the place I decided to go back to the doorway and ask about appointments: thinking since there was only one person about to check out that I could come in after. After the person left the owner came out and told me they were booked solid until for the next 3 days. I got rather upset and told her I just drove an hour and there was no indication an appointment was needed on the website. She then told me that I should have called given the times were are currently in. I responded and explained that maybe updating her website to explain that an appointment was needed might prevent people from wasting time and money. At this point I just left in complete disgust. I was absolutely shocked at how unaccommodating and rude she was. There was no-one in the parking lot or in the store when I left. hopefully this review will prevent other from making the same mistake. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Nice selection, fair pricing, friendly and accommodating staff. I gave four stars instead of five since they didnt have much of a selection of labradorite. Definitely worth the drive!

Tiny little shop, don’t miss it!! It’s jam packed though, inside and out with alllll sorts of VERY reasonably priced crystals. The woman behind the counter was an absolute delight to chat with. Encouraged my son to connect with the stones, not getting upset that his little hands wanted to explore. Just lovely place to explore and see all their treasures

Was there to purchase a memorial piece of quartz for my daughter, the woman wrote up the bill and added a piece I didnt intend to buy and got annoyed when I told her I didnt want it. I support local businesses but not when I get an attitude that they are doing me a favor by taking my money instead of appreciating that Im helping them by spending it in their store. Wont be back and wont recommend... its too bad really.

Amazing place. Small, but packed with quality & variety. Good for unique gifts or finding interesting stones/crystals that speak to you. A special treat. Staff is ALWAYS helpful, knowledgable & friendly.

Quaint little house filled with floor to ceiling displays of a huge variety of Minerals and Fossils. Decently priced and always friendly and helpful staff. One of those places you go in with a particular piece in mind to purchase and leave with that and three more!

I found the lady working to be very rude. It felt as though our questions about any stones we were looking to purchase were putting her out, making faces like we were a nuisance. I do not recommend

Tried to do some holiday shopping. Drove an hour from home to see the store. We were reminded three times that the store was closing soon. The second it turned 5:00pm they closed, we were immediately told to stop shopping and cash out. Poor service for a small store, will not return.

GREAT selection of rocks and minerals. Crack your own geodes are so worth it here - we have received some PREMIUM specimens from this shop. They even have a machine there that you can use to crack the geodes. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic place to look at from the outside. Lots of very cool looking monuments and stones. Definitely a 5 star Pokemon Go gym.

Prices were a bit high. Came with my young son who is expressing a great deal of interest in gemstones and minerals - the person working there was a bit ornery with him and kept telling him to stop touching the specimens. I was right there with him and asking him to put down any of the pricier fragile items, but give me a break - theyre rocks that have survived the elements and forces of time. I wont be taking him back. There are other local merchants who are excited by his interest and enthusiasm and dont step on my toes.

Cashier was super rude to busy watching tablet. Everytime I spoke to her she was just rude I had 80 dollars up at the counter and I just left without purchase anything due to service

There are a number of weird and wonderful gemstones here and, a number of them I have never even heard of as well as a number of things I wouldnt expect to find(i.e. sulfur). The owner is very nice and it is clear she knows her gemstones and minerals. She has labeled from where they are sourced and even metaphysical properties of some. I was pleasantly surprised and am excited to return know she supplies beads and mortar & pestle there also.

I went there to get a couple rocks identified, they were very helpful! The shop is so beautiful, so packed with stones, gems, crystals... AMAZING! I will be going back with more money lol.
