Store very well stocked. Staff are very nice and go out of their way to help you find things. Only negative is it seems several items are higher priced than civilian competitor stores so we skipped those items. But a lot was cheaper so overall we probably saved.

Today the commissary was very bad. No bread or icecream. Had to get out of line twice, once for a barcode not working and again replacing an open container. Never seen the commissary this bad. Most of the time I would give it five stars, not today.

I like to shop here when I come over to pick medicines up sometimes they have really good meat on sale

Good as always. As a military retiree I can never understand people who dont take advantage of this great benefit. Although at times it doesnt seem to be as good as it once was, it still just takes one visit to both the commissary and a civilian store in the same week to appreciate the difference.Add to that the fact the commissary is always very clean and the staff nice and helpful and its just too good a benefit to pass on.I advise anyone who is eligible and hasnt been to a commissary in awhile to go back.

The grocery story is extremely disorganized. Evan is the boss and is the most hateful woman that treats her employees like garbage and if they make the smallest mistake she belittles them and tells them they’re wasting money and how they can’t do anything right. I had to see medical attention from her emotional abuse and I wouldn’t have anybody work, or shop there.

I love my defense commissary. The last few times the shelves have been bare😳 However, the place is neat and organized and I wouldnt effect anything d different. I wish the awards card wouldnt take so much work. It would be great if it were like Kroger; swipe and go. No searching for coupons.

Small but has great deals and discounts! International aisle need to have more products. A lot of the vegetables or fruits I need are either rotten or close to rotten. I wish it wasn’t far from the barracks due to the fact I don’t have a car. Other than that, all other products are worth to buy!

Extremely rude employees, cashiers seem bothered if you ask a question, if you have a problem at self checkout employee acts as if they have better things to do than assist, baggers jump up and bag your stuff (hey I had two items, if I need you I will say so) I come to save not give a tip for two items. Could of gone to Walmart and not been treated like s..t. and saved money on my two items because I dont have to tip. Manager open your eyes and see what your employees and baggers do

I cant live without my commissary. I can shop there and get everything I need and more. At a great price especially my meat. It is always Wonderful shopping there and the people are helpful. They will go out of their be way to help you. I am very thankful to God for my husband dedication to our United States Navy. Most of all it is close to where we live. The baggers are the best!

The Commissary at NSA Memphis has a wide selection of popular brands of groceries at a competitive price. The deli is always well-stocked and employees are waiting to help you. The cashiers welcome coupons and the front-end baggers are quite friendly and willing to assist you with transporting your groceries to your vehicle. There is no better place to shop within the city limits.

The produce selection is lacking, the deli section is great. They sell Boars Head meats and cheeses. There is a recycling collection facility in the parking lot that takes cardboard plastic and glass. Prices are reasonably competitive, other retailers are sometimes less expensive for dog food. This location has an assortment of dairy-free ice cream and butter.

If I could give a zero I would. The females that work there would not let my family in because they didnt have their ID but I did. Like for F sake I always go there for groceries but now these ladies decide no to. Now I have to drive to a place that doesnt even have what we need.

My Navy retired hubby and our oldest is 29...Thats how long Ive shopped at the Commissary and raised 4 children with a $500+ Commissary grocery bill. I have spent a lot of funds at the Commissary. Over the years the cashier service has gotten lousy. I spent nearly $400 at the Commissary yesterday and had a cashier from hell. She couldnt recall if I had purchased two coupon items and proceeded to look through two (2) baskets of bagged groceries. After waiting on her to conduct her search, I noticed she didnt scan one of the coupons but had put it in the scanned pile. (I only had 8 coupons) I told her to count/match coupons to whats scanned on screen. Whew, she got fire in her then. If I didnt have a choice between a stupid cashier or Costco; I would pick the Commissary. Yesterdays experience has shown me NO MORE. GOOD BYE Navy Commissary...HELLO COSTCO. (I drive all the way from Hacks Cross/Holmes Road for this crap...NOOOO MORE)

Place is smallish, staff are friendly sometimes. The best thing about this place is that its convenient and they have free coupons in the front before you walk into the actual store.

Attentive to customer needs.

While Commissary employees are friendly and helpful, the financial benefits of shopping at the Commissary have eroded considerably. I was disappointed to see much higher prices on numerous staples. Further, I noted several dairy products for sale at normal prices with SELL-BY dates expiring today. In the delicatessen, 6-8 patrons were waiting for service for a long time. Only 2 ladies were behind the counter. Somebodys finger has slipped off the management switch here!

Always enjoy our visit to the commissary. We dont live close enough to come often but, we make a point to visit several times per year to stock up on the things our small town does not carry.

Prices are usually 30% lower than the civilian stores. Meats, dairy, produce are fresher. They even have a sushi station made fresh daily.

Worst navy commissary I have ever been in!

My experience was great.

Medium size commissary. Customer service is a hit-or-miss depending on the day. I like the addition of the rotisserie chicken but the cake section is lacking variety. Sushi station is ok. I wish they had a limit on the number of items customers can buy of some items because sometimes they run out quickly of certain items when some customers buy extremely large quantities.

Great meat prices. Somewhat fresh fruit. Nice cashiers.
