This wasnt the first time I have called Overhead Door of South Bend for service. My experience in the past and today has been excellent.Sarah answered my call promptly and was friendly, courteous and went above and beyond to get me a much needed quick appointment.The service tech, Dustin, called ahead as promised. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. He repaired and inspected the garage door, balanced the springs and lubricated all the moving parts. I dont believe I have ever seen this door operate this smooth and sound so QUIET!The charges were very fair and the employees true professionals. I wont call anyone else.

I called them and Joe and another men came an hour later, the same day. They were upfront about their 170 minimum fee, and that they would increase the fee if they needed to buy extra parts. They worked quickly and very effectively. I have two old garage doors that need to be replaced at some point, but for now they let them working well and smoothly. I ended up paying only $170. Highly recommend them.

Hottest day of the year one of the garage doors decided to malfunction. A mid morning call to Overhead Door offered the option of a late afternoon same day or mid-morning next day visit from a technician.The spring needed to be replaced - quick and easy 45 minutes to install.Very easy repair and the technician was helpful, efficient and pleasant.Overhead Door always does a fine job!

Another company tried to charge us $1400 for a new door. Dustin from Overhead Door came out and was honest, charged for a regular service call, made the required adjustments, was knowledgeable, and made our garage door work again. Excellent service. I will certainly recommend this company to anyone with garage door problems. A technician was able to determine the failure of sensors as a source of the opener malfunction. Instead of replacing the entire opener, he replaced the sensors and everything works now! His experience saved me money, I am very grateful to him. Overhead Door was unable to service my opener because they dont service the brand I have (that was installed by Overhead Door but a different store). They still charged me $85 for a service call, but after review refunded that to me. I appreciate them contacting me to get a resolution to this and appreciate their professionalism.

Our door broke early this morning. Could not be opened. Called their 24 hour number. Got back to us in a reasonable time, arrived at our home before noon. Work was done quickly & professionally. Couldnt ask for much more!

At our other house a clamp or bracket was placed at the top of the overhead door a number of years ago, opener broke away from the door, good till today, now the tech placed the bracket in the top panel, said it would last a few months, because of the paperboard, a new door will have to be replaced about $2900. tthis door is still good, thinking maybe something else can be done a plate in the panel or a top bracket used your services in the past but maybe get another opinon from someone else

Rafael did a great job replacing my garage door. I was surprised that he was able to do it all by himself! He called ahead to tell me he was on the way and was very conscientious and hardworking during the course of the job. He even did a great job cleaning up! Amost 30 years ago Overhead Door Company installed our first garage door opener in our home. It finally stopped working yesterday. I called Overhead Door and they immediately sent out a technician - David. He was very honest with us and said he could get the old unit to work (which he did), but parts for this unit were no longer being made. He listened to our needs and helped us pick out a new unit which he installed today. David instructed us how to use the unit and made sure we had all our questions answered. I would highly recommend Overhead Door Company. They are the best!

Was able to replace the parts I needed and got my door back up and running quickly. I called at noon on Monday for replacing the broken garage door springs. A technical came to fix it at 10:30am the next day, and finished the work at 11:15am. Responsive and reliable!

I had a problem with my garage door not opening and I contacted the office to request assistance. I received a call very soon thereafter and a technician was at my house the next day. The problem was solved in a few minutes and I was told there is a 30 day warranty on the repair. I am very pleased with the service I received.

I discovered yesterday that my garage door would not open because a spring was broken. I called Overhead Door. Within minutes I had a quote for the repair and a repair person scheduled to come today. I was promised a call when the repair person was coming. Today, Greg, the repair person, called as I had been promised. He gave me an estimated time to arrive. He arrived earlier than estimated. He was very personable, professional and discussed with me what I expected him to do today. He then looked over the garage door to ensure there were no other issues. He found none, shared that with me and immediately began to his work. In less than an hour the springs were replaced. As I was paid my bill, he and I had a wonderful conversation. He double checked the area to ensure that he hadnt left a mess before he left. I am appreciative of the quick response, high level of professionalism and that my garage door goes up and down again!

The repair to my garage door was a total success. Dustin was very professional, but what I liked most was he took the time to listen to my explanation of what I felt the issue was with the door. He knew exactly what the repair was going to require. He explained that the exterior of the door would show a flat metal bolt end on the outside. He made sure I was not going to be shocked by that result. We tested the door and everything works good. I couldnt be happier.

Wow! Discovered a problem with our garage door opener this morning. Had to replace the capacitor. Called and spoke with Jennifer. I was able to order the replacement part, pay for it over the phone, and had it hand-delivered to me when I drove to their South Bend - Mishawaka location. Overhead Door was excellent to work with, they kept us informed of every step (the was a slight delay because of something at the warehouse.) The installer was punctual, reviewed the set in the garage and careful and clean in his work. He was clear about how the installation worked. (He even thoughtfully save the still funcitonal LED bulbs from the old door opener!) The door looks great, the seals around are firm. We are very pleased with his work, and the company.

I had to leave while he was finishing up and he offered to lock things up for me, which I was going to ask him to do but he beat me in the ask. He was very nice and our garage door works again!!
