I took my widebody kit and bumper for my 330i to get paint matched. they quoted me a great price and i got it all back in 2 days. paint looks better than my factory paint! no orange peel AT ALL! 20/10 recommend going here for any of your car paint needs!

Prompt response and estimate. Reasonably courteous though customer skills can improve further and will bet the business.However the in shop estimate is way different from the online estimator. They do set the expectation online o. This regard but I wasn’t expecting a 40% difference.

I took my hood of my car in to be repainted flat black. I explained to the manager that it had a lot of chip repairs that made the surface resemble acne and that I wanted it sanded down to provide a smooth finished result. When I got it back, I noticed they hadn’t done a very good job of sanding down and smoothing out those chip repairs. The Manager responded that some imperfections were normal. My look of disappointment and a little anger made him respond that I could return it and he would redo it under the warranty. When I got it back a week later, it looked great. I think the work should’ve been done correctly the first time.

They seem very friendly. But kinda to expensive for me. For body work though. So I went somewhere else.

Took much longer than expected. Was not completely done when vehicle was picked up.

We drove 2.5 hours each way to have our very large, food truck painted at Maaco Modesto. They did a fantastic job and with a challenging color. Sunshine yellow! It looks great. Very knowledgeable and buttoned up. We get compliments all the time! Thanks Russ and the entire Maaco team.Only wish they could have painted the rest of the aluminum bits of the truck. But this group stands by their warranties and couldnt guarantee those aspects of the truck wouldnt peel.So, the moral of the story is...theyre great. But know that if you have a food truck they wont paint the new aluminum pieces. Otherwise, great service, great price and great people. Totally recommend!

Went to get an estimate to hhaveb my b car repaintedNever had to deal with anything like that so was I little Leary but once I got there Kylie at the front desk made it painless and very informative. So much so I have an appt in a few weeks to get my new paint job. Will let you know how it turns out!

My car has LATERALLY never looked this good. When my driver pulled into the lot and actually admired car without realizing it is my car. I would highly recommend the maaco on Kansas in Modesto. Ive already recommend them to my coworkers

Other maaco.shops in surrounding cities have specials modesto Stockton maacos.do not offer such rampant unnecessary recommendations drive up cost, failure to hire more employees put a 2to 6 week wait for service.

Edit##### I think imy review is pretty self explanatory. Maybe maaco should quit with the robo replies whenever they get anything less than 5 stars. Stop trying to cover your tracks....its obvious maaco doesnt care..........The lady at the counter did her job...well. Im disappointed that maaco charges 550 bucks to paint only the fender and a bumper.

They are by far the worst body shop. I had truck painted once worst mistake of my life. They didnt cover anything painted literally everything else that wasnt painted. Residue everywhere. And said they would give me a discount of $100, modesto location is worst. Dont go there by any means.

**Edit** After my initial review and reply by Maaco, I have reached out to the provided email per their request. I waited 2 weeks; no response. I sent another; 2 more weeks and still no response. I have been checking junk mail, etc, waiting to hear back. It appears Maaco customer service only responds to publicly posted comments and has no intention to actually converse with the customer. Figures... Do yourself a favor and check out this locations yelp reviews, paints a much different picture than Google reviews for some reason. By the way, I went to a detail shop to see about cutting and polishing all the dirt out of the paint. Just mentioning that the job was done by Maaco was enough for them to turn the car away, they wanted no part of it. Guess their reputation precedes them.**original review** Clear coat was starting to flake off the roof of my wife’s 14 year old Toyota. We have had no mechanical issues with the car and plan to keep it a long long time, so we wanted to get the paint fixed. I choose the top of the line (for Maaco anyway) complete base/clear package, paid more for the “performance” clear, premium sealer, extra prep, etc, for $2400. Knowing Maaco is a production shop, I wasn’t surprised at the heavy orange peel and the sloppy masking and overspray. However, considering these guys spray paint all day every day, I was not expecting the runs and the amount of dirt in the paint. It’s like they painted it in the parking lot. I don’t think there is a square foot that does not have dirt and contaminates in the paint. Additionally, there was a chip in the side mirror so you could see the white plastic underneath. Quite the contrast to the green paint. The car hadn’t even left the parking lot and already had a chip! Russ also said they would seal prime the entire vehicle before painting, but that was not done except for the roof. The most disappointing is when I pointed out the runs to Russ in the parking lot, he flat out turned around and said he “didn’t have time for this” and walked back to the office. He certainly had time take my $2400 for the dirty and chipped “top of the line” Maaco special paint job. He offered no apologies or solutions to fix anything, just wanted the money, and wanted it now. I wouldn’t have Russ at Maaco of Modesto paint a wheel barrow.

They striaght tell you they cant do anything close to factory so if you get in a little crash an want it to be fixed like it never happened do not go here ........ they do little garbage work u can do equal work as them from home.......

Great paint job at a reasonable price Russ the shop owner is knowledgeable looks out for you. Had my 2007 chevy HHR repainted after the clear coat from a previous job at another shop went bad. His paint and body guys did a great job and the car looks sharp. Car was done within a week!

I had a great experience using Maaco. I worked with Russ who helped me from beginning to end. He explained the paint process in full and went above and beyond. Not only did he make sure the job was done quickly and correctly but he also welded a broken piece back on to my truck at no additional cost. I would highly recommend Russ and his team to anyone who needs their car or truck painted.

Made an appointment to drop of car n when I went in for whatever reason the receptionist forgot to put me in I had waiting over a month for this day n due to her ignorance I was told I had no appointment but I could make one which is over 2 months out smh

I just had them paint my 18 yr old, low mileage Lexus and am very happy with the job they did.My only suggestion is to give customers instructions on how long to wait and how to wash a freshly painted vehicle, upon check out.

Such amazing people! The young lady at the front desk greeted me with such a bright smile. She was very friendly and such a beautiful girl. She explained the entire process to me and broke down everything that was on my quote making it much easier to understand. Such a warm, welcoming feeling walking into this facility and it even smelt good! The older gentleman working with her was on the phone but looked up welcoming me with a smile as well. I am on a fixed income so I couldnt leave my car same day but will definitely return for their great prices once I have a little bit more money set aside. I have no experience with having a vehicle of my own painted there but I did look at the ones that were parked out front that were just painted and had no complaints. Beautiful work and nice employees.

Maaco was the lowest of 5 estimates. But I made my final decision based on Russ’s customer service. He was friendly, professional, and explained everything so I understood what to expect. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends. I’m more than pleased with the work and the amount of time it took to complete the job.

Shop manager worked hard to provide a repair quote I could afford. He was very transparent in his search for used or after market parts to keep the quote within my limits. No surprises. Work was accomplished promptly and exactly as promised. Quote was about half of the insurance adjuster estimate.

Do not take your car here. They totally messed up on the paint. My bumper is still not attached correctly and they are blaming it on me. They said its because im doing something to make the bumper come off. They act nice until it comes to backing up their work. Do not go here you will regret it. They dont guarantee their work

Had my moms car done there about two years ago and it still looks amazing the prices are really great for how the car looks.they do tell you that there are going to be some tiny in perfections but lets face it its not a 5000 dollar paint job where it looks like glass but its really close the piant job we got was around 1200 dollars and like I said still looks amazing after two years outside in the weather. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend or family member.
