Best prices in town purchase all my tires here 4 sets of 4 so far... Took away 1 star just for wait time... place is always busy and sometimes you might wait nearly 30 to 4o min just to get up to the counter to get process started nto to mention possible several hours for your service to take place even with appointment but the staff is nice prices are great so its worth it

In order to get a response from ATD you must write a review. I posted a review on Yelp about my experience with American Tire Depot at 3120 Mc Henry Ave in Modesto and district manager Raul Gonzalez called me back 33 seconds later. Last week I took my car to have my tires rotated and their tire tech didnt install my lug nuts and my tire falls off my car! Spoke with district manager Raul Gonzalez the next day and he assured me I would be getting reimbursed for my towing. Still havent a week and a half later and I missed a day of work dealing with this and having no car and he wasnt willing to pay me for my wages. Plus when the manager and I went to get my car and he was jacking it up to put my tire and on he accidentally broke my cars side skirt so now it has to go to another shop?! The manager Larry is very helpful and apologetic but my business is done with them after not only potentially putting my life in jeopardy but also costing me money. Ian Jordan

Great service with a quick turn around for a specialorder tire (24 hrs) on my Tundra. Paul and the crew did a great job and even stayed over to finish the job for me before my 1200 mile trip to Northern Idaho. Called in to American Tire Depot on McHenry at 11am got a same day appointment by 12 pm. The gal quoted a price beating every one else in Modesto. Scheduled an appointment online for tires. I went in told me they didnt have the tires I ordered in stock. No one called me to inform me. I drove from Oakdale. I know its not that far, but I had a nail in one of the tires and was hoping not to drive back with a nail. I did find tires at Budget, great service and staff is awesome.

The guys were very polite and professional and courteous they inform you of mechanical issues you wouldnt have known existed they throughly inspect youre vehicle and Im satisfied to have this type of service.

This is the Best place for Customer service and honesty!!!I made an appointment for my rear brakes to be replaced since another place in town told me I needed them . I just replaced them 2 years ago and this last year I sat home because of Covid!I thought I would go to the place that gave me the best deal on tires a few years back.They told me it was NOT my brakes, just dirt or dust was causing the grinding, my brakes all 4 were Good!Thru suggested a brake service to clean them out and a flush service to clean the lines. I did.The noise is gone and my car runs great!Thank you so much for your honesty and customer service!

Ill never return here. Ive never had a harder time getting any form of service. And I orderd 4 new tires to be mounted and balanced through them. Long story short. Get your tires online from tirerack. Cheaper, and you dont have to deal with poor customer service.

Walked in for a tire patch was told like a 45 minute wait time, meanwhile I started to look at the rims that are on display to show some friends, very big place theyve a popcorn machine, coffee machine a big parking lot. Most importantly the staff was very respectful and friendly ....

Upon entering into the store you really cant tell where the door is, but if you go left to the big window, the door is on the side. They are very nice, got me in right away, however it took a minute for them to change my two front tires probably due to the wheel alignment and all of that is included. They have awesome deals though and great warranties! Oh, I just wanted to add, will be going back for ALL my auto needs they offer! Im seeing spoke rims in my future 😜!

I had a very unique need to change the tires on an RV that had been sitting for a few years. I took it in to the shop and the guys did a great job getting her back up and running again. The service staff was helpful and informative. Nothing but positive things to say.

I use to not have problems with them but last time I went there at the end of the year last year I got my breaks changed before a trip and the whole time a year down the road they still make noise no matter how much I take them back

Went in today to have two tires mounted and balanced. Everyone was friendly, and the shop was clean. I was out in about 30 minutes and they found a part was missing, and let me know right away. No pressure for them to do the extra work. Good experience

After a second nightmare at the Prescott location (read my review there and avoid that store at all costs), I ended up at the McHenry location without an appointment to have a nail removed from my rear tire. On the phone they manager of the McHenry location said “come on by but it may take an hour to get you done.” An hour sounded good to me, especially since that dude at the Prescott store told me that they never take people without an appointment and therefore they couldn’t help me out.I was glad to hear it would only take an hour and I had my laptop with me to work while I waited. I walked in and there were three guys behind the counter, all of them friendly and extremely professional. They wrote down my information and took my keys. I sat down in the waiting room where they had fresh coffee brewing, found an outlet for my laptop plug, and began to log on. No sooner did I sign into their free wifi the guy came into the waiting room and said “You’re all set!” I was there maybe 10 minutes! Very very pleased with their service. Very professional staff, super clean store, plenty of parking, employees that are there to work, and I was in and out 50 minutes sooner than I was told on the phone.Read my review on the Prescott store and you will see why I was so excited to be treated so well at the McHenry store. I will drive the extra few minutes to the McHenry location from now on. I suggest you do the same. Do NOT bother with the Prescott store. This McHenry store is excellent!

I took my Acura TL in today for a wheel alignment after just installing new coilovers + new color matched sideskirts (discontinued) and received my car back with broken tabs and a crooked sideskirt (driver side), none of the employees bothered to even mention it. When I called to speak to customer support, they put me on hold, then hung up. Lack of care by some of the employees can cause more problems for someone else.

I had them install my coil-overs biggest mistake I made. It’s so bouncy to the point I can’t really drive it. I called and explain what’s going on and I was told to comeback in the morning so I did. The mechanic didn’t wanted to fix it or at least put back my oem springs back on but later he opened up to me and said he never lowered a car before. Later the manager told me I shouldn’t of bring my own parts as like he’s trying to deny it was their fault. I ended up getting my refund back but they looked pretty upset about it but ohh will next time make sure your associates actually know how to do an installation properly before saying you can. I would of gave it 2 stars but I got my refund.

Noticed my tire was coming apart late at night. Called in the morning and they were able to order my tires the same day & get them on the same day. Made an appt. I told them I needed to leave for work at 1:30, and they had me out at 1:30 exactly. Almost a 2 hr wait time, but that wasnt bad considering they had to go get my tires from another place. There was also a rush at the time & it was lunch time. I believe they did the best they could on a short staffed day. The lady at the front desk was great and the manager kept me well informed of the status of my car. Will be back next week for an alignment check. Thanks for meeting my emergency needs. Also EXCELLENT priced tires. Really saved me an arm & a leg from my wallet.

Went today here to get an oil change on my Nissan Altima. My air filter was dirty as well and they changed it. Very friendly and fast service. I asked about a quote for my splash guard, so I will definitely be coming back here for that and to get new tires. Wonderful customer service.

Lary at mechenery store was so nice and went out of his way to help me and my business. I originally went to other store and dealt with Alex and he kept adding charges to my sale. Long story short I had a blow out not even 30 days later and I called other store Alex was rude and said well thank you for negativity on your review and said I will not held you go screw your self and hung up. Lary informed me that Alex was fired at least 3 other times for the same reason. I want to thank Leary and all of his help.

I showed up early on a Saturday...no appointment. They got me in. I needed brake service for front and rear. They knocked it out in a couple of hours from when I arrived and did a great job! Was able to use a coupon too! Will return for future services if needed.

Service was AWESOME! Wes was great! He got me in and out less than 30 minutes. Needed 2 tires replaced they were ordered Friday and Saturday delivered and installed. I had my mom with me and couldnt spend a lot of time waiting. Wes took care of me in about 15-20 minutes. He also referred me to a shop who could fix my bent Rim. Very professional and great customer service!

Had some car issues from a previous insufficient alignment(from an unrelated mechanic) and Paul was able to slot me right in. Him and his team were able to quickly solve all of my problems, while being extremely friendly and welcoming in the process. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This is the worst tire store I’ve ever been to they seriously took 2 hours to patch one tire and the next day the patch failed and when I tried putting on the donut to take it to get fixed I realized they cross threaded one of my wheels studs. When I got there and they diagnosed the tired they said they messed up and had to get me a brand new tire. Another time my wife showed up at 4:53pm with a flat and they refused to help her they said they were almost closed. Pathetic

Been a customer here for about 4-5 years. You get what you pay for and the customer service is respectful and honest. The only issue i had was when they changed management at one point, they tried to not honor a lifetime alignment i got with my tires, but after a brief conversation i was accommodated. Fair prices and good service, what more can you ask for?

I have been buying tires from here for several years now, and they always do such a wonderful job taking care of my tire needs. Well, I was recently told by where I have my oil changed, that I needed brakes (fairly badly) and rotors! I said that I would wait, and decided to get them done where I get my tires. I got an appointment that afternoon, and also had them rotate the tires as I was due. However, when he came back to let me know what was going on after the inspection, he asked me who told me I needed brakes? I let him know and he had the gauges ready to show me where my brakes actually were.... He told me that he could put brakes on my truck, but that I really didnt need them yet. He was honest with me regarding other aspects of my truck, and let me know that the services I was thinking about could wait another few months or longer. That to me says everything! I will definitely continue to do business with this place! Just knowing that I can trust they look out for their customers is truly exceptional. I only wish I could remember the mans name........

First off, this place has the best prices on tires in town! I came from Sonora as well and their prices were better than there too. And second, Wes that works up front was the friendliest guy ever!! He was so very nice to my kids and I. He put on Aladdin for my kids to watch right when we got there and he suggested I sign up for the financing to help me pay for my tires!! That was so cool and nice of him to do!! I will be back and I will he sending friends and family to these guys as well!!!

Ive done business here before, but the experience I had today made me want to put their name out there a bit. These guys saved me about $320 vs. Pep Boys with comparable tires, warranty, road hazard protection, and alignment. Cool guys, too... Fun to work with and wont try to oversell you. (Please note that it always helps to have a basic fundamental understanding of automotive technology in order to know when youre being manipulated. Didnt feel that with these guys though.) Would definitely bring my vehicles back in the future.

Wes is very knowledgeable and they have amazing prices.. it’s hard to find AT tires for less than $800 that are really good and I got out the door for les than $700 and and a great experience.. definitely worth doing business with!!

I overheard them talking about how theyve been rather slow because of management swaps lately. However, when I went in today the manager, Christopher, (I believe he was the owner or manager, something). Anyway, he was very kind and true to his word and they were not trying to lie about anything. He was honest in regards to tires, whereas other places will be like, Oh you HAVE to get 4 new tires. Or something along those lines. I appreciate the honesty and quickness of getting my tire taken care of.

This place does an awesome job and I would definitely recommend them! I usually have my husband take care of all of the car maintenance issue but I couldnt put off getting new tires anymore, however I was a bit intimidated to do it myself. The staff there was so nice and welcoming even though I came in a little less than an hour before they closed and not once did I feel rushed or that it annoyed them. It even didnt stop them from doing the extra steps like explaining in detail what else was going on with my car, also pulling out a comparison device to show me where my brakes pads were at, even though there was no need to change them right now, just so I would know! The nice young blonde at the desk was very kind and informative up to the end, which ended up being a half hour after they were supposed to close. The mechanic came out and spoke to me about my vehicle too and was very polite and informative. They apologized to ME several times about how hot it was. Also, best price around for new tires! These guys are awesome! 5 stars in price, customer service, and any other areas!

Ive been a customer there since 2017, my last set of tires came from there, always a great service, they pay attention to detail, and they advise on things your car may need asap or over time, they dont try to scam you.

So it was the first visit there. Wes got the ball rolling on the oil change I needed. A few minutes later he come back and asks to show me what Joe found wrong. It was a potentially deadly problem with some steering components. After explaining this to me, Wes got me set up with a affordable payment plan and a plan to get back on the road safely AND in a timely manner. These guys deserve some recognition for their professionalism. I am thankful and satisfied. I will be going back in the future and my wife will too. Thanks again ATD.
