Affordable, helpful, fast, and friendly. I got my pre purchase inspection done here. He got me in the same day for a good price. Theyve been in business for 30 years Id recommend giving this place a chance.

Honest work... fast and done right. No upcharging. Ive have brought 4 cars there..they are that good. Ive had 2 breaks jobs, 3 a/c s, and a clutch done there.

I just found out ownership changed but I was very happy and satisfied by the service I received by the new ownership.Vandy was very helpful and the mechanic did a great job. I drove from bay area and will drive back just because I was so happy with the work and service.

I drove in to get my brakes replaced. The Indian guy was amazing (forgot his name). He got me right in, and went over everything with me, showed me exactly what was wrong and what he replaced. He is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable in his business. I have taken several vehicles to him, for repairs, and I will keep going to him in the future.

If i could give auto world 10 stars i would . im so thankful for how fast they fixed my truck after i had it towed in there. You guys are amazing and ill always come back . thanks for getting me nack on the road

Used to be a good place to go . I believe its under New Management now. Poor customer service dont seem quite to know what theyre doing in the office. New mechanics seem to be there and the dont seem quite to know what theyre doing either. Was a long time customer will not be returning good luck to anyone who goes there for repairs and to them in their future business

Awesome place!Needed the transfer case replaced and they were able to get the part fast and kept me informed about the progress the entire way.. Great prices and honest shop. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! NOT SAME OWNER. WE TOOK OUR CAR TO HAVE THE FUEL PUMP REPLACED. PICKED UP OUR CAR TO FIND OUR TEMPERATURE GUAGE NOT WORKING ALSO RADIO IS LOCKED. CALLED AND ASKED ABOUT THE NEW PROBLEMS WITH OUR CAR, THIS IS WHAT THEY SAID WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING TO THE GUAGE AND TO CALL THE CHEVY DEALER TO GET OUR RADIO UNLOCKED DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE.

Wont be going to them again.

Brought my daughter van her to get brake system checked out mainly because I was told by the owner/mechanic of “Sergio” AA SMOG (Oakdale Rd) that the brake booster needed to be replaced. Well I’m here to say that “BRIAN” of this business, John’s Auto World looked at the vehicle and said, “Great News ! There’s NO CHARGE the brake booster was unplugged and the battery cables were loose on the new battery I purchased from Walmart before taking it to AA SMOG. John’s Auto World definitely has all my mechanical issues with my vehicles from now on Besides they did not take all day to do this.10 plus STARS for John’s Auto Worlda

These people know what they are doing. They actually diagnose the problem (tell me the truth even when its hard to hear) apply a solution. If it involves parts, parts....... adjustment then adjustment. Their prices are very good. They dont claim to be perfect, and they acknowledge when they could have done better and then they do it.Its not easy to find talented humble people like these.We will keep coming back again and again.And we tell our friends, they go and they go again and again.They tend to attract happy, Pleasant customers as well, who are a joy to sit with and chat.

I took my car to John and his staff after receiving an over priced estimate for car repairs from another business. John examined my car and offered me an estimate. My estimate for parts and labor was less than what the first shop was going to charge me for parts alone. Oupon picking up my car from Auto World i was notified that some of the parts listed in my estimate were not needed after all, and my fee was again lowered. This truely is an honest shop with friendly and compassionate staff. Since this was my first service here i paid attention to the other customers and they all came in with smiles and there was a warm interchange between them and the staff. I would recommend this shop hands down.

The worst customer service ever and what a crook. Kept my money, knowing the work was not done, due to an oversight with employees. I wrote a detailed account on yelp and would LOVE to add to this review when I am not so busy. This was the worst experience and DO NOT GO HERE!

They have and continue to provide multiple auto and mechanical repair services on cars, trucks, etc. It is a small, family owned business, and they have truly (John Sargasian and his family) provided my family with incredible service, mechanical trouble shooting, reliable estimations, and repair along with warranty(so you can take it back, if something is still incorrect). If you want your time and money wasted, by all means come here.I came in for a smog and was told it would be at least an hour wait. When I said I wasnt sure if that would work, Peter whispered to me that he would do it right away.2.5 hours later...he comes in and tells me the vehicle failed. Says it was a visual fail because of my gas cap and my aftermarket intake. Says I will need to take it to referee to have the intake approved....wrong! the intake is CARB approved and he admitted to seeing the sticker. The CARB approval and reference numbers purpose is to eliminate the need for the referee approval.How is this honest work?He could have saved me time and money by telling me these issues up front without even performing the emissions test(which it passed) and charging me $40. I could have went down the street, got a new gas cap for $11 and been back in 5 minutes. Then it should have passed no problem, since again, the intake is California approved, designed for my vehicle, and fully legal.By this time I am starting to get frustrated and the owner gets involved. He starts being condescending and tells me I did something I shouldnt have and am paying for it now... but since I am arguing with him, he will let me retest for free.The problem is, I wont let them touch any of my vehicles again after how they treated this situation.Also, I witnessed the owner being rude to at least 2 other customers while I waited.
