Tim was super helpful and friendly, from setting up the appointment to handing the keys to my car after the work was done. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic shop with knowledgeable and skillful service techs. You wont find this kind of customer service and transparency even at the dealerships sometimes!

Honest and transparent. Initially harder to find, but worth it. Follows Toyota recommendations and performs timely repairs with OEM parts and fluids. Priced competitively. Nice change from dealerships. Free coffee. Thorough. Bring it in. Your Lexus or Toyota deserves the pampering.

My Corolla failed smog inspection, i took it here & they fixed it in like 40mins & charged me fairly. Good experience.

Took 2006 Rave 4 to get checked for sluggish transmission. After removing the transmission pan the car would not shift and had to be towed home. All at a charge for BOTH.

They were very pleasant and friendly. They kept me updated on what my car needed and handled the maintenance efficiently in time & gave me the option to return Monday when the part would be in the shop. This shop has always been trustworthy and reliable to do a great job working on my car. Ive used this shop for over 15 years and they are very competitive in their prices. I highly recommend this shop.

We chose this place because the Dealer recommended them as an alternative when The Dealership Were Too Busy, Toyotech Has A great system going on there with Jim and Tim running things, they give awesome estimates and are really prepared for all jobs neat, or nitty gritty! This place is hard to find at the back of a strip-mall like car repair center. Once I found the place, my Prius C received excellent service. I took advantage of the courtesy ride. My car was ready on time and less expensive than a similar repair at Modesto Toyota.

The first fix they did did not work. Took back second day. Felt like they were rather slow maybe cause they cant get paid for second repair.Im just a cranky old man but I expect to be told when it will be done instead of a round around.maybe my old friend at Mazda plus could have done it faster. Oh well just impatient and need my my car back asap

Came here after I had been to Toyota Town in Modesto, CA & called Toyota dealership in Lodi, CA for a replacement OEM part for my vehicle only to go to Toyotech to get a written estimate for $100 more than Toyota Dealership. Not only that but Tim had popped open the hood to see all so called problem for our vehicle when we were there for a tail light change and had a huge written estimate. So silly they try to up-sell to get business. I would never trust them and so this is why the 1 star review. Always the feeling is you cannot trust auto repair shops and Tim & Jim were really seeking to make money off of your car. It was shocking and just goes to show that these so called reviews on Google are either fake or the owners are not smart. Tim said we had leakage which we never have leakage. No trust. If they had just done the job to give us an estimate for repair there would have been no red flags. Being higher priced does not always mean one is bad but to try to find other problems when we never asked for such shows scam attempt!

Reasonable prices only issue i was told diagnostic fee would be applied towards repair and it wasnt other than that very hapoy with service

I always take my car over to Toyotech. They are so friendly and make sure everything you need done is done well. If anything goes wrong they fix it right away. They even do uber and Lyft inspections for you because their mechanics are ASE certified. I have been taking my cars there since I was old enough to drive and I am now 32. My mother has been taking her cars there since they first opened. She knows the family that owns it and they have had it for a long time. They always do great quality service!

If you own a toyota, this is where you want to have it serviced at.

I had taken in my car to get a quote to fix my door lock. They are the only place I have been to that charges for a diagnostic or a quote. It took them 20 minutes which was great but they charged me $99 to do it. I was just very disappointed......

March 9,2015 inspected my 2008 Toyota Prius a/c not blowing cold airpaid $50 inspection feeMarch 11,2015 technician inspected vehicle and found a/c system had noFreontechnician inspected a/c system for leaks and no leaks were detected.advise customer technician to REMOVE A/C EVAPORATOR BOX AND INSPECT FOR LEAKS. customer authorized repair.My 2008 Toyota Prius a/c stopped blowing cold air on September 10,2015took car to Modesto Toyotech on September 11,2015 to inspect a/c system.received estimate receipt @8:48 am.returned call from Modesto toyotech @ 12:20 pm on September 11,2015spoke to owner Jim Gates. he told me that their would be no charge on parts or labor if replacement part was bad or leaking.here is where it gets interesting. Jim Gates then told me that if another part such as the A/C EVAPORATOR needed to be replaced then it would cost me another $600 in LABOR.it CLEARLY STATES on the march 11,2015 invoice that that the A/C EVAPORATOR WAS REMOVED AND INSPECTED. CUSTOMER AUTHORIZED REPAIR.Jim Gates is CLEARLY trying to charge me for the LABOR I already paid for in the parts and LABOR warranty.Jim Gates told me in his own words,ITS JUST THE ROLL OF THE DICE and ITS JUST A GAMBLE YOU WILL JUST HAVE TO TAKE.This is the owner speaking to me this way! REALLY?Jim Gates actually expects me to pay for LABOR AGAIN for something that is already paid for.The WARRANTY clearly states 12,000 miles or 12 months, whichever occurs first. WARRANTY applies to ALL WORK PERFORMED.What part of his own written out warranty doesnt Jim Gates understand?He is OBVIOUSLY A CONARTIST!Brought him my 2008 Toyota Prius on March 9,2015 with 72,784 miles.Returned my 2008 Toyota Prius on September 11,2015 with 79,454 miles.that is a difference of 6,670 miles (way below the 12,000 mile WARRANTY)March 9,2015 through September 11,2015 is approximately 6 months and 2 days ( way below 12 months as STATED IN WARRANTY)I either want a FULL REFUND of $812.70 or fix my 2008 Toyota Prius as covered under the LABOR part of the warranty.I have NO PROBLEM replacing a different part other than already replaced part. I will pay ONLY LABOR on INSTALLING the DIFFERENT PART IF NEEDED (NOT THE $600).I expect MODESTO TOYOTECH to HONOR THEIR WARRANTY.If they do not cooperate, I will file a LAW SUIT and turn them in to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
