I had the best experience at this place, I pulled in the parking lot after workLast week and I was greeted and immediately taken care of, A nice young man attended to me as my tire was going flat, he took my tire off to check it,The tire was not repairable so he had to put my spare on. The work was completed in a timely manner 20 min tops and I was good to go! I live in Stockton so I asked if my spear would Make it home? they said yes! I said great, where do I pay? McCoy Passenger Tire Co on 3333 Mchenry in Modesto. Went in for 4 wheel alignment. I call Brad and he quote me a price on all wheel alignment for $99. They charged me for $139 tax and all. I ask why it was more then I was told me. This lady work at the counter said because they have to reset my car computer. What a joke! I wont come back again, thats for sure.I was even thinking about buying tires there for my the other cars but now I would go to Costco instead for tires if I need them.

Brad was very helpful with the installation of my tires. He installed a size on my truck that no one would. ( Even though I ran that size for years ) He had the guys install ( 1 ) tire on the front just to make sure they would fit. They fit perfect ! No rubbing at all. They really look nice. My favorite tire shop. Since 1996 (when I got my licence) I have been buying my tires from McCoy Tires. They have always taken fantastic care of me, my family, each of my cars. They never have recommended any services that were unnecessary and have always given me good deals. Whether I was buying tires, brakes, shocks, struts or getting an alignment, I have gotten the best care and a deal I was very comfortable with every single time. They do all my rotations for free, even when I have a new car they have yet to put tires on. I highly recommend them.

Been a longtime client. Moved away, had to use some one else for some work on my vehicle. They damaged my vehicle and wanted to charge me for the damage. I call Mc Coys up, they made the first available appointment, looked over and repaired my vehicle and it is running better that before. I came in for a alignment. when it was done the first time I came back right a way because the was a big pull to the left. I couldnt believe the tech would not have given the car back this way. I pull into the shop the tech rechecks it and told me that something moved. At this time its closing time and the tech tests drive it again. he comes back and says its Perfect. I get a bit down the road and it far from Prefect in fact it the same. BIG pull to the left. I go back to the shop spoke with a Manager Brad and He tells me the the report said it Good . I tell he this started when your shop was to do a alignment and I was given back the car this way. The tech drove the car and verified it is pulling left. But then the tech tells me the car is set correctly . I Dont think so you just told me it pulling left the same it has been seance the start of the alignment. The tech says nothing. This is some the worst customer service. I told them Im going to a different shop to get it check out . I get a report from the other shop the Toe was off a bit NOT set CORRECTLY. they didnt charge me after i told them this story.

Very satisfied with the work. The guys know what theyre doing and do whatever they can to help save some money. They actually stayed after hours to help my family get their tires fixed because they were going out of town the next day and waited for us to get there without charging extra.They also help veterans out here and appreciate the work they do. Ill definitely come back to get anything else done and recommend for sure.

Got me in and out!! Unlike Firestone .. ooh sorry it’s going to be a three hour wait just to look at my tire lol.Very friendly!! They didn’t try to rip me off and I was worried they weren’t going to have the parts I needed for my Land Rover but I was in luck that day!! Otherwise I would of been stuck out of town for a day or so. Very affordable.. Its a tire shop. Not a day spa. Tires nowadays arent cheap. But the staff is nice. The service is pretty damn quick. Waiting area is clean, and the coffee is fresh. (Youll have to get your latte somewhere else).

I have been a customer of McCoy since I was 16, had an account since I was 18. I started with the 9th street store when Ed was there and transferred over to McHenry probably 20yrs ago. Brad has treated me like family and I continue to make the trek to Modesto for all my tire and wheel needs (more than I can count). We live in Pacifica so this is no small trip, but I would much rather be treated like family and proudly tout my history with MCCoy than save a few miles.Nancy has always been golden and now with Dane there it just feels like a natural family extension.Through all of the rough Times and my fickle wheel changes Brad and Co have always made me feel like a top customer and that means a lot. The previous day I had my dream car shipped from Ohio, a beautifully restored 1973 Plymouth Barracuda. The L/R tire had a small leak so I ventured up McHenry Blvd. to find a business that would fix the flat or simply put air in it. I drove to 3 tire service businesses and all told me that they were too busy. By that time I was desperate because the tire was nearly flat. I was about to call AAA but decided to drive to McCoy’s Tire Company on McHenry Blvd. I was emmediately contacted by the staff and they directed me to drive my car into one of the service bays. After I told them my dilemma, they removed the tire, tested it and informed me that the tire was fine. The problem was a rusty wheel that was causing the small leak. They said they could use a power drill and rotary wire brush to scrape the rust and apply a sealer, which I agreed. The staff not only saved me from having my car towed, they fixed the tire/wheel for a nominal fee. The entire staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I will use McCoy’s in Modesto to purchase wheels, tires and any other service that I may need in the future. I would give them a 10 if the reviews went that high. Thank you very much for your superb assistance and service.

Had a low tire heading out to grab some breakfast this morning. By the time I got to a gas station to fill it the leak had gotten pretty bad. First time I came in it was for brake issues. I was impressed with how honest they were. They said brakes were ok, still had some life left; around 10,000 miles. I only needed the brake cable tightened. Which they had done for no charge. Went ahead and replaced them. Second time due to a flat tire. Again I found the same honest input. No tries for up sales or anything. I will continue to use this place for all my tire and brake needs.

These guys are great. I first went in to get some suspension bushings and ball joints pressed in on some control arms that i had off the car. I really like how management walks you through the actual shop floor and allows you to talk face to face with the service techs this is big for gear heads/car guys! Their techs are very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The shop was greatly priced and got me in and out within the day, honestly a few hours. All this really impressed me to come back two days later after I got the car reassembled for a front end alignment!I will definetly be a returning customer for McCoy Tire!

I’ve been taking my cars to McCoy tires for close to 20 years. I am always disappointed when I go anywhere else (which was only because it was an emergency). The front desk staff is friendly and helpful, the service is usually quick even though I almost never schedule an appointment. The only drawback is their Saturday hours, so be sure to check their hours before you go.

I thought this place was pretty decent until one of the overpriced tires I bought there had a screw in the tread, and these guys would not honor their road hazard warranty. He claimed the warranty was void because the tire tread showed a tiny bit of wear near the inside. What a lousy excuse. I will never buy tires there, nor will I ever recommend anyone buy tires from these sharks. They talk the talk when you are there to buy tires, but they dont walk the walk when its time to cover road hazard issues. This place IS NOT the real McCoy. I will go back to buying tires at Costco. They actually live up to their road hazard warranties.
