I made an appointment for an oil change, which should be the most simple part of car maintenance... The mechanic left oil all over my tan leather seats which I was lucky to get just about all of it off. At the dealerships Ive been to, they put down plastic seat coverings so they dont track dirt and oil into your car, but obviously they do not do that here. On top of that, they said I needed new headlight bulbs, which is odd since they were working two nights prior. Coincidence? I think not. I said to Nick that they were working before today so I dont know how BOTH could go out at the same time. He says It must be electrical or something. He doesnt even know himself, real nice. Never going back here. Ill wait the extra few minutes at a dealership and not have to deal with these headaches again. Terrible experience.

I bypass plenty of shops including other Firestone locations just to get to this one. The team is helpful, and friendly. They actually honor you appointment times which is unusual. Im a customer forever. 5 stars for a great team

Worst firestone Ive ever been to. Wanted touch less drop off. Nobody there to greet me. Called and was told to leave car out front with keys in it. I dont think so. Went in and nobody greeted me. Just stared at their cell phones. Finally I had to introduce myself. Was told to leave car outside. Left keys with them. No thank you, no communication as to when theyd call me or anything. Weirdest experience Ive ever had with Firestone. Im questioning they completed any of the work at all. Go to the one in Homwr Glenn instead. 5 stars there!!!

Firestone has been a great service for our cars. From checking our battery to buying tires, the service can’t be beat! They are very busy all the time which tells you they do a great job! The service techs and mechanics could not be nicer! They do explain things well to someone who does not know much about cars. They have disability access.

These guys got me in and out quickly compared to some other fire stone in the area that told me they wouldn’t get to me until tomorrow. This location also had a lot of people there with their cars so clearly this location is better at multitasking. 👍

Horrible service, they replaced my tires and balanced them . Left the adhesive behind from the old weights inside the rim . I came back for them to clean up the adhesive and they took a razor and scratched all 4 wheels . The manager Corey Carter told me not to come back to the store again because I was upset ???? Don’t go here !! Now I’m dealing with a claim instead . Garbage service

Been going to this place for a couple of years. Even recommended to several family and friends. I purchased 50,000 mile warranty tires from them 13 months ago and had a nail into the tire so I brought it in to get repaired. The repair was done but then they told me I needed new tires. I explained to them that I bought them from Firestone 13 months ago. They told me to talk to the store manager Cory and he would take care of it. Cory then told me it would be appropriately $800.00 to replace the tires that I spent $1100.00 thirteen months ago. I had the oil changed and tire rotation done at that store every time. With the original purchase I also purchased lifetime wheel alignment, so as a consumer I thought that would be done when the tires get rotated. Cory explained to me that it was not done because I as the consumer never requested it. They as the knowledgeable tire people should of mentioned it, because most consumers dont know about when wheel alignment is necessary. If I would of experienced any steering problems related to the alignment I would of brought it to them but never experienced it.

Stay far away from here!!!! I was a mechanic, not here thank you but I can tell you for a fact this place is a scam!!! My mother went in there with a perfectly functional car, shes just not used to owning a car after 5 years. Anyone who has knows its not going to ever drive like a brand new car. As long as you follow the service intervals and fix any problems the car is still good. These guys however gave my mother an invoice that basically said she needed everything under the hood bar the engine and everything in the frame replaced! For a car at 90k miles??? You dont even need to check spark plugs at 90k miles!!!! Litteraly not one car manufacturer recommends that!!! Oh but they were on there! As well as replacing the cabin air filter... For almost 50 bucks!!! It takes a whole lot of two seconds to pop in the 6 dollar cabin air filter they wanted to install. I was shocked to see this place had a 4 star rating??? Because they have a way of speaking to people that polite and sounds respectful, but that doesnt mean they should get a pass on preying on people who dont know better! Dont go here, dont want give it a good review. Scammers need to be put out of business! Period.

Corey (the manager) always takes care of my needs! I send everyone I know to him. Hes got a great team behind him and I trust them with all of my vehicles! Highest praises I can give. Keep up the great work! Firestone is lucky to have such involved and kind employees!

Been going to this location since it opened. Car wouldnt even turn over. After two days they found nothing wrong (one of the days it was parked and did not move). Manager Cory said they started it a thousand times and no problems. Two days later and 28 miles away from home it would not turn over. Bad starter. Had to have towed at a cost of $200. Manager Cory apologized and said he would work with me on the price. Charged $450 for a starter! Called Toyota and they would do it at dealership for about $300 (at a dealer no less). Wait, it gets better. When I called to pick up the car, they told me all of the diagnostic lights on the dash were light up. I told them that I would not accept car like that because I didnt bring it in like that. They kept it for anther day and reset diagnostics. Picking up the car shortly. Thanks for nothing. Bad diagnostics and high prices! Dont go there for anything but tires! Thanks Cory

This location has a manager by the name of Cory and he has the worse customer service. Ive ever experienced in my life. This guy totally denied me service for a oil change because my car 🚗 was a 2011 Panamera Porsche he stated that he could not order any of the parts I needed for a sample oil change and that none of his technicians could not 😑change the oil on a Panamera. Which was a complete Lie to my face. Highly not recommended if Cory is in charge.

This Firestone is AWESOME!!!Great staff. Great people. Jim the service manager always gets things taken care of. I really TRUST these people. They only suggest work that needs to be done. They are HONEST and fair with pricing.

Theyve done work for me twice and Ive been happy both times.

Coming from Arizona and a sudden 45° temp drop I needed my firestone tires aired up a little. Staff was great, 2 minutes and a nice gentleman came out and gauged up my tire pressure with no hassles and he was extremely efficient. Thank you Firestone!!

Had them mount and balance 4 wheels and tires. Two days later the steering wheel starts shaking at high speed. Had someone at work look at it, he went to touch ones of the wheel weights and it literally fell off the wheel. Wrong weights were installed.

Very professional, good price and a great front of business stuff. looks my car in for a question i had they took it back and had a look over it. nothing was wrong, yet they didnt charge me. great customer service. a little $$ on oil changes but they do great work for other aspects of car repair.

I took my work car there for a brake job, and they went above beyond. They gave me all that it needed and more. the wife and I went out of state with her car and I suspected her first brake job of a new car was due. However when we came home I dropped off her car. One hour later the Mokena Firestone staff called and said, There is no reason for any service to be done yet on youre wifes brakes. the experience Ive had is superior to any other Ive had with dozens of cars in my life time. Customer service alone would keep me coming back, time and time again.

Ordered tires from an online retailer and had Firestone as an option for installation. They did a great job and were very kind. I would have bought my tires there but they didnt have the tires I was looking for.

My serpentine belt exploded on the Interstate 80 eastbound, right before the off ramp to Firestone Complete Auto Care. I had no alternator, the power steering pump went, out the water pump went out and the engine started to overheat. I had no choice but to pull over. It was 14 degrees out and I had no idea where I was. I was able to find a hotel room and bright and early the next morning, I called Corey and the guys at Firestone. They found out that not only did the serpentine belt fail, but the tensioner pulley wheel that holds the belt tight against the rest of the pulleys was destroyed. At best, I was looking at three days before part arrived and a snow storm was going to hit the area for 3 days straight. Corey was very resourceful and was able to find an aftermarket pulley to help get me back on the road. They had me on the road by noon! I left town with the Storm at my heels. Five stars Corey and company!!! Thank you!

Only doing 1 star as I have to.If you are planning on having your alignment completed at this store, PLEASE be sure to have an assessment completed. My alignment was completed, and I was NOT advised that the assessment was an additional option until AFTER the fact.When I was leaving the shop after the alignment my front drivers end collapsed and created MORE damage to my car then if I would have been informed of the condition.I am blessed that I was not driving high speeds, if/and/or my children had been in the car with me. It would have been horrific.I received my money back for the alignment from the store, but I had to pay for the tow, and repairs that had to happen due to their error.

Have been here twice - first time for headlamp replacements - they replaced HIGH and LOW beam headlights for LESS than any other place for just the LOW beams. Same with rear brakes -- over $200 SAVED. Plus I can leave my car, walk over to the train station and pick up my car on the return trip home as they are open until 8:00 p.m. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! UPDATE 8/23/18 - Check engine light came on - bring car in. Gas cap not on tight (which I redid three times) - said, change the oil while you are at it. Pick up the car - they DONT charge me for the diagnostic, give me a $10 coupon on the oil change AND ROTATED my TIRES for FREE while they were checking it out. This place CANT BE BEAT!!!!

Got my trucks wheel alignment done here. Fast, friendly, well priced, even discounted me more that advertised. My steering went light left. After the work its a hard right. They said had to do with the way my tires were, theyre good tires, and the steering didnt go off nowhere as much as it does before the work there.

Friendly, fast service, Took me in at the last minute for a brake job, had it completed within 3hrs as promised. Ive never had a problem with Firestone very professional!

My car was serviced this January 2019 and got the following issues:- No body called me to update about status, I called 3 times to know.- car was already finished the day before my last call yo them- when I went to pick up, I asked the rep for explanation of what was done, he said I dont, all written in the report- I came with issues that one of them remains- nobody cares to fill even wiper fluid however it was part if the checks.Those might be simple things but as I know nothing about cars I cant trust them if they did the rest that tgey said they have done.

I have been here multiple times. This last time was about a week ago.But if you need your car towed in there, dont go with who they recommend. This guy was so unprofessional. Took forever to get me. Then kept lying to me about it. I have had my car towed here before and it was great service. They must have changed towing companies. Dont know why. GET YOUR OWN TOW TRUCK.

I wont give this more stars than three because of the communication issues with this shop when you are there for a repair. My car was there for almost 7 hours before I had to make a call to find out what the status was, only then was I told what was wrong and what needed to be done and asked if I wanted to proceed. After I confirmed I asked if it would still be done before the end of the day and was told it would be. About an hour later I got a call and said they couldnt get the parts until the next morning. I asked, requested that it be completed before noon and the service manager said that it would be. After not hearing anything until 11: 45 A.M. The next day I called and was told that they had the part and they were working on it and it would be done soon. After again not hearing anything for a couple hours I called back to inquire and was told they were just finishing up the job and I would get a call back soon. I finally received a call that it was completed. I am happy with the service work, dont get me wrong, the problem was fixed. My problem is, that I did not know what was going on basically at all unless I called and asked.

Hit a pot hole while traveling for a funeral in Mokena area. On Sunday Anthony and crew found the correct replacement (only one similar tire in area) got it on the car and on our way home Sunday eve. Hats off to the crew and particilarly Anthony. Thanks.

We got four new tires there about a month ago on our Town & Country. They did the work in a timely fashion and for a fair price. My husband just went to replace our brakes in our driveway and found that whoever had placed the lugs back on the wheels had way over torqued them and some of the lug caps had been loosened which made removing them very difficult. So he took the van over to Firestone and told Bobby in the lobby what the issue was and asked if they could remove the lugs and reset them at the proper tension. Even though all the bays were full he found someone in the shop to do the work. John was the name of the guy that reset all the lugs. He did it without complaint or hesitation and held friendly conversation while working. So thank you to Bobby and John for helping us out when I’m sure they both had better things to do.

Dropped off my truck at 8:30am my car was not ready until 7:30pm. To do 4 new tires. I had to call in 3 different times to check the status of the job and was lied too twice when they kept telling me it was on the bay and almost done now at 4pm and the. Again at 6pm. Went to pick up my car after hours and they left the light on in my truck and killed my battery. Smh

Had an inspection done here, quick service, and a price you cant beat. Let them handle your problems for you, if youre in the area!

I took my 98 CRV to have the rear end fluid changed, this is 110.00 job, I bought the truck used, so I figured it needed to be done. While draining the fluid they noticed it was completely clear, 9 out of 10 places would have changed it and charged me, not here, Bobby called and told me the news. and put the fluid right back. This kind OF HONESTY nowadays is hard to find, thank you Firestone in Modena!!

I had to get a new tire, they said I had to leave my car here for 2 days for a job that should only take 10 to 15 mins. I had the warranty that should have covered for the tire change which it didn’t. I finally get the tire changed after coming to this place for 3 times. They ended up forgetting to put my spare tire back in my car. So I had to drive back to this place for the 4th time to get my spare tire back. Their customer service is horrible. They do not give any specific answers.

Complete scam. If you take your car in, GET A SECOND OPINION. I brought my civic in and they handed me a 1,300$ estimate. I decided to bring it to a family friend for a second opinion and it was 250$ and it runs perfectly well. They tried tagging on so many unnecessary repairs that it was insulting how stupid they think their customers are. They said I need new brake pads ASAP when I got brand new ones a month beforehand.Youve been warned.

Drove in there parking lot with a flat tire at noon today it’s 95 degrees with my 2 babies in the car and the gentleman at the front desk told me we can’t touch your car for the next 2 days, I asked him if I can wait in there parking lot til I call AAA he said that he will have my car towed away ! Worst experience of my life and I am a Mokena resident I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER !

You know this is the worst place Ive ever been to in my life I wouldnt recommend to anybody going back there I went there for a tie rod they tried to charge me over $2,500 for a complete front end assembly and it was a $25 part I went to OReillys picked up the part for $25 and put the part in myself and the car is still running no problem I wouldnt ever go back there I wouldnt even tell anybody to go back there that is the worst experience those people I even called him and told him how can you live with yourself unbelievable unbelievable unbelievable
