In prior visits we pay for a specific dollar amount of product and your makeup is done for free. Well it is no longer that way, and I wasnt told prior to going in. Apparently making an appointment doesnt have any benefit anymore because when you just walk in there is no service charge. I have had my makeup done at MAC for over 10 years and this may be my last.

The cashiers are unaware of their rewards program. She said I was supposed to tell her before the transaction to get my points. Hello you work here not me. So I asked if I can add those points online. She was confused and said she didnt know how that works!!! Really MAC YOU NEED TO TRAIN THESE GIRLS. This would never happen at Sephora.

I love makeup and have been going to Mac since high school. But I no longer go to the Montclair store. The staff is extremely rude and the manager allows it. I dont remember her name but she has short hair and is very incompetent. awful service they should really consider hiring new stuff

So I went into the store today just get two things, foundation and bronzer. Ive been unhappy with my last two selections of foundation the girls matched me with. But today Ash helped me out with a foundation. she was super helpful explained why my skin was this way and which products I truly need to make my complexion and skin finishes perfect. You could tell she genuinely cared about my needs and met every single one of them. Next time I am going to buy more I will call to see if she is there and go see her. I only gave 4 stars cause the rest of the reviews are correct the rest of the staff is rude. Great job Ash thank you !

Girls need to be more knowledgeable for make up

Mac girls are hot and nicer than sephora girls. Back in the day it was reversed mac girls werent so nice so I shopped at sephora but then the girls at sephora were not the same.

The staff at Mac in montclair plaza are extremely helpful & very friendly. I recommend all my family & friends there.

Wonderful assortment of make up

I have nothing against these products at all. I actually really like these products but not the staffs treatment towards their clients in this store at the Montclair mall. Today I went to purchase the regular makeup I purchase and was completely ignored. I waited for one staff member to become unoccupied but it appeared no one was. So I politely ask one staff member if I can purchase a product but she responded that she was busy doing someones makeup but would be glad to get another person to help me but she never asked anyone. So I waited and ask another person and she said sorry and that she couldnt help me because she was occupied doing someones makeup in an uninterested tone.It appeared that every staff member was busy doing clients makeup and I wasnt looking forward to the same response. I understand that they are paid to do peoples makeup but I thought they were also paid to help other customers with purchasing a product. I ended up leaving the store unsatisfied because I didnt get to purchase anything for being ignored.

Hire better make up artist. Those stuck up clowns are useless
