This is a fantastic Costco! My husband and I were Costco members while we were stationed in Texas, but the workers there and the shoppers made so unbearable to shop we canceled our membership. Our neighbors here keep talking about the great finds they get at Costco so one of them too me here to check it out again. The atmosphere here is a breath of fresh air. All the employees here are so kind and welcoming. We have been asked by a couple employees if we needed anything or if we found everything all right. I was so impressed I ran to the membership and the top tier membership. The employee who signed me up again was so kind to me! I instantly told my husband that if we shopped at Costco here first I dont think we would have ever given up our membership.You will see us here constantly snagging the great deals and the amazing selection of food, home, health and toy goods they offer here.

Love Costco! Customer service is unmatchable! We are thankful to have one within a 30 minute drive. Their Kirkland brand is great quality!

My shopping experience at Costco is always great. Great products, great price and customer service. The store is always very clean and the environment is great. I did request on several occasions that they stock men pants sizes 42/32 like they use too. However, that size is still very hard to find at Costco. In the past, I always found that size. Could you please ensure that size is stocked at the Montgomery, Alabama location. Thank you!

One of the better Costcos I have been to in terms of organization and cleanliness. Employees are nice and very welcoming. The vibe is calm and relaxed. Love it!

Edit: I went into the store and the store staff is 100% very friendly and helpful!I have been a member of Costco decades and I have learned not all Costco prices are the same in other states/cities. Okay so I moved here and I was happy to find a Costco is here! I needed a washer & Dryer for my home and I saw the option to apply for Costco Citibank credit and the order made one feel like one could buy that product same moment. I called Costco and asked if I apply for the credit card can I get the number at Costco so I could make a purchase and I was told, yes. I proceeded to apply and got approved and I went into Costco to get the credit card numbers. And I was told that I need to come into Costco within 2 hours of applying which I was never told so I did not get the numbers. Called Costco CEO in WA and the CEO was out of the office, so called again and again and got a voicemail for some guy who never called me back. So many fails. Normally in the other state I always got excellent customer service and if there was ever an issue the CEO office was very responsive. Okay so things happen. AS it turns out I had to wait until the card comes in the mail and by that time, the item was out of stock. So I called Costco and requested a price match when it comes back in stock and they were able to do that for me and I got a confirmation number for that. I do not think the employees are properly trained.

I went to this Costco today to sign up for a new membership. There was a old lady with gray hair at the membership desk being so pushy to sell me a executive membership even though I’ve been telling her that I only need a regular one concerning my shopping habit. She seemed annoyed and went like “oh Lord🙄”, “it doesn’t make any sense”, “you’re wasting money”. I brought my passport and learner’s permit with me for signing up and she ended up rejecting me just because she said they only accept driver’s license. But the policy doesn’t seem to be like what she said. I’m not sure if she treated me like this on purpose. But it’s unprofessional and disappointing.

Shopping trips to Costco are a true experience! The selection of everything from fresh-baked buttery croissants to organic asparagus to cleaning supplies and more seems endless. I also appreciate the wide variety of Organic Kirkland items - many of which end up in my cart for the ride home.Its definitely worth having a membership and I highly recommend the bakery section and the fresh produce room!

It was my first time to get gas at Costco and I had a new car, so I was uncertain how to handle my card, etc. A very nice man named Greg was standing by with a Costco vest on. He noticed my hesitancy and I told him my uncertainty. He completely took charge, showed me how to put my Costco card in before the card I wanted to use for gas. Then he asked me the grade and completely took over, filling my tank with gas! I couldn’t have asked for any better help and he was very pleasant even though it was a very hot day. Thank you, Greg!!

Great store to shop for anything and everything! They always have unique vendors in there and have seasonal items that no one else has. Also fun to look and the different watches and electronics as well. Very clean store and the staff is very friendly and accommodating! We like going on the weekends!

Reasonabe prices. Fresh food is very good. Especially the pizza. Restrooms are in the back. Only issue. Cakes are good. Best return policy. Car batteries are cheap and last a long time.

Found what we needed/ wanted. Got in and out without any issues. Facilities looked good and clean. Restrooms looked good. Staff is friendly and courteous.

Its Costco! They always have great customer service and have great employees. I love all the things they have from the food to the fun extras. They have great prices on most everything. We do miss the samples since covid but always quick checkout times which is the best with small children.

I like that they are beginning to bring in more organic items. I only wish they would designate a section of the store for organic items; itd made my shopping so much easier but heck its still worth it.If they had a section designated just for organic items I would probably buy more than I already do because I feel like Im probably overlooking some stuff the way its set up now with everything just mixed in together.

Costco is the vortex of awesomeness.They have a great variety of high quality products that you would expect plus a food court, prepared food entries, great wine selection, pharmacy, and automotive department.

Always a pleasure. Ive relocated a few times, east, west, coast and now the south AL. Each time Costco has pulled me through big Willie style. Now I have to drive about an hour to get to the Montgomery, AL store. And some folks have the nerve to ask me if it is worth the trip. Even with my mask in place my eyes tell them what they need to know. News for folks...bulk breaks down and renders worthwhile savings. Most ethical organization in the USA. Believe that because it is true and has been for decades. I am a committed patron and fan of Costco, from the caring CEO to the cart staff gathering the baskets in the parking lot.

Good products and quick cashiers. Youd think buying bulk would have lower prices but there are actually a lot less expensive items for most things.

The meat selection is superb. Self wipes for carts is always available.

This store was good, similar to BJs. Had some cool bulk items in there.

I was not very happy when I went to Costco yesterday. I have been a Costco member for at least 10 years are more Myself and husband we both have a card there. And we were at the register and decided we want to pay separately and was told we could not use just his card for separate transaction. I was very displeased with that because we have been shopping there for 10 years are more. And it shouldnt have been called for that never been before.

Today I have to give them a 2 not sure what theyre thinking but their check out aisle appears to have gone back to pre Covid I think. They have 2 checkouts going through 1 lane. I had to wait for folks to move over so I could go through all the while the assistant putting my items was telling me to move up. Not a good morning at Costco.

Sorry guys you are not the Costco of old. I gave my card back today and got a refund. The past three times I was there it was like trying to get a bill passed through Congress to get my return refunded. I called customer service a couple of nights ago and was put on hold and told there would be a 57 minute wait. I just dont need to pay for that kind of customer service. Maybe Ill try again in a year or so and see if things have improved. I suggest that you read some of the reviews that Costcos been getting lately on some of its services.

Much better shopping experience than Sams; line wasn’t too long and two cashiers helped. Only downside is them trying desperately to up sell the executive membership. I was annoyed and almost walked out for that reason alone. The young lady tried then another gentleman came up and tried like I was in a sales pitch for a timeshare ugh! Other than that we enjoyed our first ever trip to Costco

Hello I visited Costco 1009 today and purchased some AirPods when I got out to my car there where no air pods in the case the manger told me he would file a claim and get back with me cooperate office decide to tell me there going to check the weight before I get a refund I’m a college student here visiting for the weekend the atm Jessie that’s on duty is very rude not helpful at all he has a bad attitude and no customer Service and for me to call and ask to speak with another manger whoever in the office answer the phone laughed about the return and she proceeded to tell me I heard about it already so as an manger you went and discuss with one of your associates that I asked for cooperate office number I’ve been a member since 2016 I think this will be my last year being a member with Costco I’ve never had a problem till now

Costco is the best bulk store by far. The montgomery store is missing some of the specialty items of other locations, but that may be due to montgomery being a smaller market. Still able to do the majority of our shopping every week.

I probably dont need a gallon sized jar of salad dressing for just the two of us, but what the heck.. its costco! I was glad to see that samples of food were back, toilet paper was well stocked and I could get as much cleaning supplies as I needed so it it seems things are starting to get back to pre-pandemic. Also the food court eating tables has returned. I was dissaoined that a marinade that I usually see there and went to get wasnt stocked at the time. I hope it comes back.

A huge Costco store in Montgomery. Its much bigger than Mobile. Just passing by on our trip to get food and necessity before going home since we dont have one in Pensacola. Were a long time members. We always get cheaper gas at Costco than anywhere else.

I am okay with mask mandates but if your going to sell hot food then have a sign saying you can’t eat in the warehouse instead of having rude associates. There is a sign saying if you want a refill to get a new cup so why would we think we can’t eat inside? Also don’t plan on using a MasterCard credit card, you can use visa or MasterCard debit but only visa credit 🙄

Totally pleasant experience. I didnt find any cucumbers but I easily located everything I needed otherwise. The aisles are very clean and free from clutter.

Be aware, of one thing. They still charge taxes on the original price of sale items. Pretty good store. Electronic prices are ok, tvs are higher than Sams. Lines are 100% shorter.8/11/19. Wow I wouldnt have believed it if it didnt happen to us. So now more than 3 times Ive observed minorities being treated differently when making $$$ purchase.

We love costco! The staff is always super friendly and the low turnover rate means we always see a familiar place. The selection is always fun and the samples always help my children try new foods they would otherwise not eat!

Very disappointed at this location. I travel all over for work and when I need supplies I head to the near Costco. This is the only location that doesnt let me make 2 separate transactions. I cant add personal items on the business receipt. The cashier stated only Business Member are allowed to make separate transactions.When I asked to speak to a Manager I was told they are unavailable. So to do it the hard way, I made one purchase, loaded up my Car, return to the store, got my personal item, went to the same cashier, made my 2nd purchase, and left. What a waste of my time. I will be calling customers service.

I used to love going to cosco and getting the deals and great buys. Not so much anymore. Since the virus, deals here are hard to find. Good for quantity in paper doods,etc, but meats and food has gotten higher than anybody else. Food court doesnt even have the menu as before. I really hope they return to their old ways or I might as well be at Sams club

Costcos new policy is to bully customers as much as they possibly can. Ive been with Costco over a decade and today I canceled my membership. Totally sick of every time I walk into the store there is some form of humiliation from an employee to a customer. I buy for my business from time to time and keep my receipts separate. Their new policy one receipt per visit. Sign at toilet paper says no limit checking out they make a scene and say there is a limit. Nobody was in the liquor store walked up one foot into the wide open door without my mask yet to ask if they had something in stock employee tells me I must wear a mask and would not answer my question. I have a Sams club membership and they treat customers with respect.

We just joined Costco. I was impressed with the quality of their customer service from signing up to checking out. The store was very clean and organized. They had quality products and great variety. It was worth the drive and an enjoyable experience.

Went today to the pharmacy which always has speedy service. They are also administering the Moderna vaccine...you have to register online at costco.com. They also ask that you pay attention to how many people have appointments that day... there are 10 doeses to a vial and thdy do mot want to waste vsccines by nit having enough appts to use the visl so your appointment maybe rescheduled to not have unnecessary waste of the vaccine.

As usual, very crowded. Couldnt find lunch boxes, but found school shirts and pants pretty well.

This locations employees have become COVID officers. They are so petty and power tripping. It feels about as welcoming to enter this place as it would a prison. I will give a couple of examples of what I mean.One time I was leaving and only bought one item. As I was exiting, I went to put my cart to the side where all the other carts were instead of taking it to the parking lot. I quickly hear a loud, screaming MAAM!!! I turn and see an employee about to have a stroke from yelling so hard. Everyone turned and looked. I asked what her problem was. She told me I was putting my cart in the wrong section. Nothing was labeled to tell me that. I asked her where I was supposed to leave my cart. She told me in the parking lot. So I put it in the street and left. So totally unnecessary and humiliating.After a few months had passed, thinking things maybe were a little more relaxed, I went back. This time as I was leaving, I go to get a water from the drink machine. I get it out of the machine and for a half second, I slip my mask down to take a single sip. Nobody was around me at all. An employee must have been standing around watching the drink machine and got giddy when they saw someone take the bait and get a drink. She ran over and said that my mask needs to be over my nose at all times. I told her I was thirsty and taking a sip. She told me that was not allowed in Costco. SO ridiculous. So she came and broke the 6 foot barrier to publicly scold me. Boy, is she saving lives. Such a hero.Do you not see how this is just causing conflicts? I will not be back until Costco relaxes completely on their ridiculous rules that do not even make any sense. Even if that takes 10 years, so be it.

This place is awesome. Great deals on quality products, and best of all, the service. People are what really make a shopping experience, and Costco always has the best people.

So seeing people of all ages going in and out of Costco before 10. Was going to wait but seeing others of my age leaving with full carts thought okay I can go in. Very rude lady at the door very rudely said Im not a senior so could not go in. When I pointed out the others leaving who were not seniors she got mad and said... well they are allowed...There are no signs on the store about senior hours so dont get mad that I question when seeing people my age go in and shop!
