We were the victims of a semis detached tire while headed north on I-77. We had our car towed to Keffer Kia, and that was a great decision. They fit us in at the end of the day as they were preparing to close at 6 pm; gave us the results of an initial inspection and an accurate prediction about how long it would take; and had us back on the road by 10:30 the next morning. THERE ARE OTHER KIA DEALERS THAT ARE BETTER - I had a bad experience here 3 years ago. Found out when trading in a pristine high end leased vehicle with low mileage that the car they pushed me into had an inflated sticker price, and the $2000 tires they said it had it did not, they bullied me to take an 8 year loan!!!! that I had to pay $500 to qualify for! AND they gave me far less for my trade in then they should have, they sold it for MUCH more. Maybe because Im a female? There are better, more honest KIA dealers in the area - like Planet Kia in Charlotte. - Christine They took excellent care of me, the experience was completely different. Got a much better car for less money and much better financing.

I had a really great experience with the team at Keffer Kia! It was our first “big purchase” as a married couple and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Ben helped sell us the car. He showed it to us, listened to our opinions, addressed our concerns, and even got it detailed one final time for us before it went home (we bought a two year old Subaru that came in as a trade-in). He’s really knowledgeable and pleasant. Ask for him if you’re looking at buying. Chewy came over and did some small little detail work for us before we drove off. He was really kind and helpful too. Michael assisted us on the financial side. He was really terrific to work with and really knows his stuff. Overall, would say the staff here is remarkable. They’re the opposite of pushy and they go the extra mile.

Justin Imes and his finance team went above and beyond helping me find a vehicle that suited my familys and work needs. My credit is not so great to say the least nor my financial situation either. However as a mother of 3 growing boys and as an In Home Aide I needed a vehicle that could fit my family and that would suit my clients needs ( most are in either wheelchairs or have some sort of walker and require a larger trunk space to transport their equipment).It took some finagling and determination but after roughly 9 hours of hard work they were able to finance me a car and Im beyond grateful for all of their hard work! This place has your absolutely best interest at heart and determination to get you where you need to be in a great vehicle. I will continue to go to them for all of my vehicle needs and wants in the future for sure!
I just purchased a Kia Sedona minivan from Keffer Kia. From the beginning phone call inquiry about the vehicle, the test drive and the final handshake after the deal was made was perfect and professional. Dont waste you time. My son bought a 2017 Forte here 6 months ago. Engine failed, had an extended warranty, company examined and covered it due to it being a Kia defect. Engine was ordered but has been lost in transit, so have to order another one that will take 3 more weeks to arrive. I have been renting a car for 6 weeks now, Keffer will not supply a loaner or a rental. And never had the dignity to tell be that, only they are looking into it and will call me back. 20+ documented calls and never a call back, everytime we will look into it and call you back. It took me taking a day off work and driving an hour there for Steve to finally tell me to contact Kia corp and warranty company. Kia corp takes no responsibly for the car or for the lost motor, and the extended warranty place says it is now a Kia issue and out of there hands. So guess I have to continue paying for a car that doesnt run, insurance on that car, and rent one so that I can work to pay for all this. My only fault was trusting Kia and Keffer Kia, will not happen again. BBB, Kia Corp, and State Attorneys office complaints filed, but every thing takes time. Complete waste of time, energy, money, trust and dignity. Poor customer service, poor responses, poor management, poor vehicles.
We ended up with a fair deal on a used car purchased but the reason for two starts is the salesman that we worked with. Tereek is his name. He made promises he did not hold up to. The salesman was just in it for the deal and made promises he never wished to hold just to get us to sign. Outside of this salesman, the place was a good place to work with in buying a new car.

Gave my grandfather a lemon. It’s a used car but he Had problems with the car 2 months after he got it. They told him it was ACCIDENT FREE. However, two other dealerships said it was in a previous accident. Over $800 down the drain trying to repair this car. When we came back today 8/26/2021, they acted all nice and concerned about our problem but started talking JUNK about us behind our backs!! I came around the corner trying to find a restroom and two employees were talking about us. Don’t go here and waste your time if you’re buying a used car. We called to check on a car at this dealership to purchase for our son and they were not pleasant. We were willing to drive over an hour to get there. They may not have realized it, but their tone and comments were sarcastic. Will not do business here. During these times, it seems businesses would be more polite and pleasant and excited to get your business. But these people are in it to make an extra buck.
Reached out to the dealership on the lease or purchase of a new k5 and after trying to get an idea of what I was looking at was pushed away and purchased my vehicles elsewhere. Very disappointed in the lack of interest in customer service just because I tried to make it a reasonable experience considering I live an hour from the dealership and had to pass other kia dealers to give them the opportunity for my business.

NO WAY would I recommend this dealership. Unless you have done your homework and searched out online prices, etc., youll not get a deal here, which happened to me this weekend. The manager rooked me $6000 on a 2020 sportage. This dealership exemplifies the snake in the grass operation of deceive the consumer and the run to the bank laughing. I cannot recoup the money, but if I can deter someone from getting in the situation Im in, then good. Just do your homework before you step foot in this dealership.

Its been years since Ive purchased a vehicle directly from a major dealership because of bad experiences Ive had in the past. This was the single best car buying experience I have ever had. Joshua Hosch was my salesperson. He provided incredible service and attention without being pushy or agressive. He has a positive attitude and great personality. It was a hot Saturday afternoon and while other salespersons donned t-shirts and casual wear, Josh wore a button up dress shirt, tie, and dress pants. I come from a Honda driving family so naturally the car I purchased was a Honda. While I was waiting to sign my contract Joshua went to fill up my gas tank. He provided me with a portfolio to read until it was my turn to meet with Finance. The first page was a Thank you letter followed by information about various car brands, their ratings with JD Power, and various history bits about the automotive industry I never knew. I was so impressed how well put together it was and the effort he put into making it. This young man is definitely going places and is a huge asset to your company. Thank you for your professionalism, making the transaction easy, and for being so honest. I drove two and half hours to Keffer and would definitely do it again for my next purchase.
I refinanced my car in May. I have been trying since then to get a refund for the Gap insurance. I have called multiple times. When I finally get a call back. Im told different answers. The last time I was told it takes 6 to 8 week. By July I should have it. I called yesterday and today and still no call back. Jt kia refund my other car without any hassle. No paperwork no phonene calls. Just a check in the mail. Go to JT kia. They truly try to make sure their customers are satisfied. Keffer once they have your money you no longer matter.
Jimmy was an absolutely wonderful salesman. I am a college student working part time, and had a small budget after my old car was growing too much for me. Jimmy worked with me to find a car within my budget. He was very patient with all of the questions I asked, and helped me and my dad along with the car buying process. He brought me a beautiful car to test drive that I never thought I could afford, but had been down in my budget. Despite not buying a new car, and being a young student, he was very considerate of me and helped us out. I love my car, and its something I never thought I would have for a few more years. I went in to buy a vehicle and there ads and promotions are straight up lies. There website advertised a trade in deal 5000 above kbb says nothing about limited to certain vehicles I even asked in the phone so I wouldn’t drive 30 mins for no reason lied to me on the phone. Told them where I needed to be on payment wasn’t even close. I was warned about this place should of listened. There website deals are false I even asked the used car trade in manager to his face why does your website not say price over kbb is limited to certain new vehicles. Had no answer. If someone is honest from the beginning I have no issue with that but don’t lie to me on the phone to just get me into the dealer to tell me something completely different. Place is a joke I went to modern Hyundai had no issues bought my car from there for the price I needed to be at. I made sure to let others know that this place is nothing but snakes sad thing is most of them already knew.
I first walked in about 3 weeks ago and was met by salesman Andre...we talked about what I was interested in and ultimately test drove a Sorrento. I liked it but decided it was too small for my familys needs. He informed us a few Tellurides were coming in within a week as well as how fast they were selling. The day they arrived, he texted me to let me know and we came in that night to purchase one. Overall it was a fantastic experience and Andre was BY FAR, the most knowledgeable salesman of the products he is selling I have ever dealt with at ANY dealership!! From first test drive to sale, to finance and even after sale, Andre has been checking in and making sure we are pleased with our purchase...which WE ARE. Worst experience. Never recommend if anyone planning to buy a new car to stop at this dealer that will take away the mood and joy of your new car buying. Will try to summarize it in short. Today 04/13/2021 visited this dealer, had a test drive of Kia telluride SX and started talking about the price which is 7k high priced from the true car quote that I received and also higher than MSRP sticker. Negligent explanation when asked why is it like that. Said that dealer added blackout package which is not true as that is part of MSRP sticker. When asked for detail split of estimate no clear answer. Asked if I can speak to manager. There comes a guy and he just came straight forward to me like a school teacher giving even more firm single word answers for the same questions. When asked why is it high priced than the MSRP and the certificate from True car that I received, answer came with bold voice with firm facial expressions that we adjust to the market demand/availability. Thats it. Silence till I start asking any question. Enough, I just walked out of it like as if I got egg on my face.Update to keffer kia dealers - Last week I got my new Kia Telluride SX from Planet Kia with a great deal which I think, I can try to sell you guys back with a margin for me. Glad that you guys were not co-operative when I was there else I might have tempted even for a slight reduction on the price which cant still beat the deal I got now from Planet Kia

Took my car in for service several times. Car was returned with the same issue. After 4 days of running computer test they came back with spark plugs knocking. I spent over $600 in car rental due to high demand in the area. I also had to pay for the spark plugs to be replaced. Did not seem to know what they where doing. Kept telling me the engine might be done.

Bought a Kia Optima Sport LOVE the car, BUT dont trust dealerships and this is why --> the right rear tire was low on air and I had told my sales guy hey, one of the tires are low in air so he stated he would tell service and they will check it and put air in it, low and behold THEY DID NOT!! After my purchase, I had brought my vehicle to my mechanic (STR automotive) to have them put air in the tires for me and he noticed the tires were bald and dry rotting especially the left front, so I brought it back to the dealership and they told me its not bald that it wouldnt have passed inspection if the tires were no good, but they would have the service people look at it. So after they were done I had 2 decent front tires put on (so clearly they DID NOT inspect this vehicle thoroughly). So after that I had brought it back to my mechanic to make sure everything was good with the car, they put it on the lift and THOROUGHLY checked underneath, check all the fluids, to find out the back right tire was again low and leaking air, and there was a hole in the back right tire along with bald and dry rotting on the inside edge, so I paid for another tire for this vehicle that the service department should of checked on before selling this vehicle! Also the Carfax was wrong and stated there had not been previous damage or accidents, well underneath the bumper you can tell there had been damage done. If you look at the photos below you can see that clearly this car hit something, and you can see the tire with a hole in it and how bald it is.

Terrible experience! My daughter went to buy a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee for 18,300 and when she got there they tried to tack on several thousand on hidden reconditioning fees with an out the door price of $23,000. The manager was unapologetic and admitted the Cargurus price did not reflect the “real” price. She of course did not buy the vehicle.

I drove about two hours to Keffer Kia to buy a particular 2021 Kia Stinger trim+color that was hard to find. I searched online across about a dozen Kia dealerships via the Perks At Work + True Car employee car buying service, offered through my employer. The Keffer price was the lowest by a few thousand dollars for that particular trim.My initial interactions could have been better. The price offered by the first salesperson that responded to me was a few thousand higher than the online TrueCar offer, and it was not clear to me why that was the case. He claimed that they would never offer a price that low and he didnt know what TrueCar was doing. After talking with a sales manager, he did indeed honor the TrueCar price and claimed that there was a misunderstanding / miscalculation in the higher price I had been sent.The in-person experience was great. It was the most efficient car buying experience Ive had. I was in and out in about an hour. The finance guy in particular was super fast and didnt pester me to buy additional coverage, which was very much appreciated. Josh and Steven were also very very friendly and helpful and had everything ready for me when I arrived. This is my SECOND car I have purchased at Keffer Kia and they are AMAZING!!! This go around I had Tabitha and Steven helping me and boy are they just fabulous at what they do !!! They got me in and out of there which is not common when buying a car AND I had my child with me and Tabitha was a God send when it came to helping entertain her !!! I have had 3 kias there was no service better than when Alan was there. But they are efficient and do their jobs well
At first walking in there’s a blond girl that doesn’t have a mask on that works there!!! I don’t have the best of credit I understand but I did have a really good cosigner and they were acting like I had a disease they didn’t want to help me at all, the old man that was there laughed at me I do not recommend! And I will not be getting my car serviced there anymore either awful experience
I had originally went to Mooresville to look at a used Kia Soul and unfortunately it was beat up and not taken care of. It just so happened we were within walking distance of the Keffer Kia dealership and we went to talk to them. I was approached by Scott Hoffman who is a very personable and straight forward salesman. Long story short, everyone I encountered at the dealership was 5 stars. The General manager and Finance Manager were both very nice and straight forward. They didnt was my entire day and we came to an agreement in record time. I am absolutely thrilled with my car(2020 Kia Soul LX) and thrilled with the service. If I ever decide to get another car I will be going back to Keffer and I will recommend to every person that I can to also go there. 5 star experience!
I have only one snort-worthy 😤 issue with this Kia dealership. I was told there was an initiative that Kia owners who recommended this Kia dealership, and that recommendation culminated in a sale, the person who made the recommendation would be sent a check for $100 as a reward. Well, I told you guys several times that a friend recommended you -- and, frankly, her opinion of you was the deciding factor in my decision to go to you. So far no reward to her.I dont exactly have buyers remorse, the car is ok; but that factor does filter my experience with Kia. It will always be a caveat when speaking of Kia.
Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. The sales person didnt hear my concerns and now I have to spend out of pocket for a car I bought two weeks ago. I paid the $1,950 fee for the mechanical fee or whatever it was called because I figured they would fix the issues I had during the test drive. The blonde girl told me they would be addressed.
👎👎👎 Do not recommend this dealer. Here I wasted 2 days. I offered my price for the car, they agreed. When it came to paperwork, the price went up. I asked why the price went up, they said they couldnt sell the car for my price. What? They agree on your price first, but then when it comes to paperwork, you are not given your price. Blatant lies and deceit. You will be given a loan only from your Kia bank. Cedron is not a professional. cannot answer many questions related to the car.

I worked with Shawn and had the best customer service experience. For me he was fair and honest. His responses were timely and very helpful. Additionally, each time that Ive worked with this dealership, Ive been pleased. The service area provided excellent customer service as well. They have been quick and the quality of the work is good. My only complaint is I purchased a car that had a smoke smell. In spite of repeated returns to eradicate the odor, it persisted. Based on my overall very positive experiences, I would highly recommend shopping and receiving service at Keffer Kia.

Waited for over an hour even with an appointment, spent a lot of money over the term of my lease to find out it expired in April?Never was explained as to it expiring at lease signing.Oil change and tire rotation $71.00?I had one remaining maintenance, just time expired.Thank you Jesus they were able to get it approved.Never agree to Maintenance plans!
