Went in for a last minute state inspection. I had to wait a bit but the got me in no problem.Gave advice about some items that will need fixing soon and pricing for those items.Seems like a well run shop and Ill be back for tires next to see how they do.

Overall a great experience and I already have another appointment scheduled for more work needed based on my initial visit. I worked with Ken and Garrett. Both guys were solid and open about repairs and pricing. I dont plan on taking my vehicle anywhere else. They were reasonable, fair and like I said, accommodated my schedule, pivoted to make my repairs last minute and were friendly on my wallet.

I had tried to have my truck inspected somewhere else and they told me that my computer wasnt connecting to their computer so they couldnt do the inspection. I took it to here and they found it was just a fuse so they didnt charge me for a diagnostic check or even the fuse. Very happy about that

I went here to get my car inspected. When I got there, they told me 45min to an hour. It was closer to about 30 or so minutes. This place also has some high tech stuff. They actually have pictures of your tired treads and what they look like right on a screen in the waiting area along with a visual representation of your cars alignment. I love this kind of stuff. You would think it’s more expensive for these advanced tools but the price for an inspection was fair for the quality and efficiency of the work done. I would definitely recommend Lake Norman Tire & Auto if your looking for work to be done to your vehicle.

10 out of 10. I wish Google reviews had more than 5 stars because I honestly would give them all to Lake Norman Tire & Auto Center. This was my first time using their services and they were the most professional and hospitable auto mechanic company I have ever been too . All of guys there seem like absolute gems but I have to take a minute to praise one specifically by the name of Garrett! Garrett went above and beyond to make sure that not only was my car fixed but most importantly that it was safe and I dont think I ever trusted an Auto technician more than I trust Garrett. He kept to his word, didnt make any false promises, never tried to hustle me or talked to me in a condescending or patronizing way when explaining the problem like other mechanics Ive experienced because they felt I lacked knowledge because I was a woman. I was sent pictures throughout the entire process and there was an open line of communication the entire time and you can tell he takes pride in his work and cares about the customers. I will definitely be taking my car to them for every and all car related issues from now on, they got themselves a forever customer. Keep it up guys!!!!!!!

Lake Norman Tire & Auto did a great job! Very efficient with getting me into the repair shop and completing the work. Not only did they complete the alignment they discovered a broken bolt in the suspension before it became a bigger problem.

The dealership I use wouldnt patch a tire. They told me I could purchase a new tire. I knew Id get a better price elsewhere. I called Discount Tire and LN Tire & Auto Center. I greatly appreciated when Lake Norman Tire & Auto told me to come down to see if they could patch it, which they did for me right away. Because they did not pressure me to buy a tire instead, I asked them for a quote for the additional service the dealership told me I needed. I already knew it was time for new brakes, so I feel good about putting this job in the hands of Lake Norman Tire & Auto Center.

Failed inspection after waiting two hours, failed due to headlights not being aimed correctly and two side marker bulbs being out. Those two side markers illuminate when in drive only, they wanted $10 per bulb to replace perfectly fine lamps and $15 per headlight aiming. High beams passed aim, low beams did not, both are aimed in the same headlight assembly, paid my $24 for failed test and drove two blocks down the road and watched them shine lights on calibrating wall only to discover my headlights were well within parameters. Spent another $30 just to avoid Lake Norman Tire, will not return and will not recommend them to anyone I give a damn about.

First of all Mr. Desouza greeted me outside at my truck and asked if he could help me. I explained the situation and he quickly checked me in and made arrangements to call me when they were able to fix the problem. About a week later Mr. D called me up and I dropped my truck off. Mr. D sent me pics of the problem and they quickly fixed it and it was done within an hour of me dropping it off. Mr. Desouza is professional but at the same time very personable and friendly. A job well done!

Failed inspection after waiting one hour, due to one windshield wiper that was not bad. Just so they could charge me for an expensive wiper they sell. Would not let them work on anything I own. Very unprofessional behavior and not a business I would support.

Went in on a Saturday with multiple issues of unknown origin and reason.They were able to quickly diagnose the problems, and have them resolved by 2:00 that afternoon.They even provided a (very nice Toyota RAV4) loaner car for me to use while my vehicle was being worked on. Free of charge.Incredibly friendly and professional. I trusted everything they did to my vehicle.Clarence was the salesperson I worked with. He did an excellent job keeping me updated. This was my first experience with LKN Tire and Auto and they have earned my business for all of my autos now. I came in to get a new tire mounted and balanced and they took care of it right away. I also asked if I could get an exhaust system installed and they took my truck in right away and found out the parts I bought would not work. Boxed up the exhaust and received RMA from the other store and will be returning. They were able to make me a custom exhaust that sounds amazing for cheaper than the one I bought. Fantastic guys, I will have all my maintenance completed with them. Oh I almost forgot they have loaner cars! You can drop of on a scheduled appointment and have a free loaner just fill up with fuel on return and then pick up your car after work. How awesome is that!

Came in for excessive road noise, I was thinking wheel bearings or suspension. $$$$. Ended up only needing 4 tires and alignment. Competitive price with Costco $$. They let me use a loaner car for the day. Car done in 1 day, now rides great and quiet. Great service and more important HONEST business.

This is my second big job I had done here. The first time was on my A Class Diesel motorhome and this time on my everyday truck. Both times the service has been exceptional. I’ve been going to Lake Norman Tire and Auto for the last 5 years since buying my tires there, and I won’t go anywhere else in the lake Norman area. They are helpful, professional, and do a great job for a great value. In 2017 I moved to the other side of town, and I’ll still drive across Mooresville to get my car serviced by these guys. They are that good.

First time customer and was impressed from the moment I arrived. From courtesy when I first arrived, to the efficiency at which everyone works.Came in for bent muffler, which later determine needed a Ford part to hold back in place. They spent 15-20 mins welding and bending to keep it in place until I can get the part needed and did not charge me anything.Advised me to get Ford part instead of them ordering it and having to mark up on me... wow, never heard of business being as honest and fair as these guys.Will definitely be returning to finish my needed repair and future needs.

I recently moved to North Carolina. My car took some abuse on the trip here (summer construction). I did not have anyone to refer me to a mechanic. I drove past Lake Norman Tire & Auto several times before stopping in. It always looked busy. When i finally stopped in I was greeted by a great staff who listened to my needs and took great care of me on the spot. I had an oil change, my tires balanced and was checked for any other front end damage. I went back the next day for a new muffler. My experience at this business was great and the prices were fair and the service was amazing. The place is clean and bright, unlike most places. I will go back.

I just got some exhaust work done on my car and everything came out great. They got me in with no appointment and had it done quickly. These guys are really cool and I would definitely recommend them.

Clarence and the staff we’re outstanding! Fantastic customer service. They went out of their way to not only change my oil, but also cleaned splattered oil from my motor. I would definitely recommend them and will return.

Asked for tire quote and requested check on brakes and front end. Quote was great with 3 alternatives, and at appointment found brakes OK but broken arm and worn joints in two places. Fixed broken part and will schedule other joints as soon as able. Kenny did a great job handling this for me and I will definitely recommend you.

These people are scrupulously honest. I took an older car in and told them to find anything that might be wrong from stem to stern. They saw some oil drippage on the bottom of the transmission and originally thought it might be a leaking seal. That would have been a $700 fix. But they later determined it was no leak at all and I avoided that cost. A less scrupulous garage might have gone ahead and done the repair. They were courteous, professional, prompt, and I will take all my repairs there from now on.
