Firestone is the place to go! I went in on Sunday and got a great deal on tires. Today (5/25/21) I was greeted by a man named John who had a great attitude and helped out all that he could despite me being very picky and meticulous. I went and picked up my vehicle a few hours later and they did an outstanding job. I have had very bad experiences in the past with tire shops and was treated amazing here. They took care of me every step of the way, they communicated efficiently and made sure everything was too par. I recommend Firestone in Mooresville to everyone! Great work Guys!
I use this auto care center when I am visiting from out of town. They are fast and trustworthy.
The warning light for low tire pressure came on. I googled and found Firestone was open on this late Saturday afternoon. I went in having never been there before. Two employees greeted me. I was immediately able to get my tires checked! Turns out I have a sensor in my spare time and that was the problem. Great! After spending time checking all of my tires and adding the needed air to my spare time I was sent on my way. There was no charge just a have a nice weekend and come back to see us. Wow great customer service guys!!!!!!
I paid for tire hazard and had a flat and Bob decided to chastise me for not having an appt. Very rudely interrogating me for missing an appt last month. I was embarrassed and will be cancelling my Firestone card and go somewhere else in the future.
A professional gentleman assisted me with my tire pressure. How nice to experience excellent service!
Not sure why former manager John is no longer there but I wont return unless he does. On my 4th trip to have brakes/rotors fixed & left today with the same high pitched scraping/squealing noise that I arrived with. Attention to detail & quality is dwindling at this location. I hate to see it b/c Ive been a loyal customer for many years but will no longer be attempting to have car repair done here.
Employees were friendly and professional definitely would recommend them to anyone.
Sale person wasnt very nice. Came to have new tires put on and they check my oil. Took like two hours to put 4 new tires on. Shouldnt take that long.
Very nice service I will comeback..
I got an alignment on Sunday, didnt drive it much until Thursday on my way to work the traction controll light came on and it was pulling to the side. We called and they said to bring it back in but we would have to pay to get another alignment because we got a one time alignment. Im sorry but my one time alignment should last more than 4 days.
Great service. Time line was within 15 minutes. Safety requirements are being used. Perfect for new tires & auto care
Watch out for the short old guy (usually wearing bandana and gloves). Hes a crook. Every time you see him at the store you can rest assured that you would be paying extra for things. Possibly youll be paying for stuff that you dont even need. Just take your car to trust-worthy mechanic.
This place was amazing. So nice and polite. Went there for a vehicle inspection, found out I had a nail in tire and needed to replace the tire. Very helpful and didn’t try to sell me anything extra just did what I needed to get back on the road
I hit a rock and dropped the plastic underneath my car. I called everywhere Honda couldn’t get me in till the follow week, I had this piece dragging . I called firestone and spoke to Jamal . He was the only one to help me he said come over let me look. And he fixed the problem instantly !!! He was so nice and friendly and made sure my car was safe for me to drive !! I will from now on give my business to them !! What started as a sad morning, thinking what am I gonna do ? I have to go to work I’m divorced I tried to fix it with duct tape! So thank you Jamal ! If I could have given you a hug I would have !!
Went for state inspection and they upcharge me to inspect window tint when my windows ARE NOT TINTED!
There are a lot of choices in Mooresville for tire care. I havent been to a firestone in a long time and i was impressed with the honesty that was shown there. I only got a tire balance but I obversed the work on my vehicle and conversations with other customers in person and over their phone. It wasnt about how many things they can sell or having a customer worry about potential things. Its a chill place and they will be honest with you. I recommend this going here.
Probably the best experience Ive ever had getting an oil change. Mike was so incredibly kind and friendly, and was super informative. they are honest and quick. Great place to take your vehicle. I will definitely be returning.
TERRIBLE! WITH A CAPITAL EVERYTHING! GET TIRES MAYBE BUT DONT LET THEM WORK ON YOUR VEHICLE! CHARGED $100 FOR DIAGNOSES AFTER THEY COULDNT FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG.
Theres a little bit of stretching the truth here at this Firestone that I wasnt a fan of. Went in with their $10 coupon for an A/C check. They told me everything was fine on my car, except my Freon was extremely low and would be $150 to add more. When I brought the car home to check it with my own gauge, the Freon psi level was 40. The normal level is 45-50 psi.Not sure if they maybe make a commission on sales, but I wouldnt call this extremely low. I think they were pulling a little bit of a fast one on me.
Called to take vehicle in for inspection. Lady that answered phone very rude. Told me to bring the vehicle in and they would tell me if they can get it done. Why would I drive there for them to tell me they cannot do a simple inspection?
Top Notch service!! The guys know their stuff and are straight shooters. They show you what needs to done and give you their honest opinion. I have no apprehension of taking my vehicles there. Service like they displayed is hard to find! Also, I appreciate you being available on Sunday.
New customer, easy job, replace leaking valve cover gasket. It requires the intake manifold to be removed. They forgot the intake manifold needs gaskets too, bumped up estimate. I went at the time was told job to be done. I was told throttle body gasket also was required, another bump up. Next day, car complete, ready to go. I lift the hood to check on work done. What I found was hoses just pushed onto piping, missing clamps. Loose bolts left on top of the engine, others finger tight, wiring harness not secured and floating next to exhaust manifold. If other than an oil change, or tires run dont walk to another shop.
Super fast service. Courteous staff.
I have updated this review to reflect the fact that the manager John called me and agreed to reimburse me for the expense incurred due to the work not performed properly. I hope he can address the issue with his tech.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The absolute worst experience I have ever had with a car repair establishment (disclaimer: I am a mechanic). Drove our Suburban from CA to NC and took the truck in to get the tires balanced and rotated before heading back to CA. Since I originally bought the tires in CA from a Firestone shop, this service was a complimentary one. I got a call from the manager a few hours after dropping off the vehicle, informing me that the truck needed new wiper blades because they were torn, one front light was out and the tires were cupping hence needed an alignment. I was very surprised as we had the windshield replaced along with brand new BOSCH wiper blades in CA 8 days prior to this date before leaving on our trip. I told this to the manager (John) who went to the shop to confirm, and confirmed that the right side wiper blade was coming apart. I told them not to touch anything just do the balance + rotation. A few hours later I went to pick up the truck and voilá: saw the right side blade taken apart on the vehicle with the two metal rods and rubber insert loose from the arm. The wiper blades had no issues before I took the vehicle in, we drove almost 3000 miles in the past 5 days and I actually used them before dropping the car off. I could not believe they actually went out of their way to take the insert out to show why it needed new wiper blades. I called the manager out and expressed my deepest dissatisfaction- he put the wiper blades back together. They were going to charge $48 for the 2 blades btw. which is a total ripoff. After I got home, I also look at the tires which have about 8000 miles on them now and not even the slightest show of uneven wear can be seen. Theyre clearly made these issues up, I just cant believe this. In my books this is vehicle repair fraud and will be contacting corporate about it for sure!On top of this, a few days later when I got a chance to drive the car again, I noticed a slight vibration still. I took it to a different shop and they confirmed that all tires were out of balance! I have no more words…
The technicians are awesome people. Sure, it can take a long time to get work done but to be fair, thats what happens with quality. They take their time to do the job and have great clientele as a result. Good work means good business and trust, means more customers equals more time. So be prepared for a lengthy wait, walk around the plaza, plan a ride back home if need be but dont scuff at their quality of work and professionalism. They have earned it.
I go here for ONE reason. Jon Buck, he is their Service Manager. I originally met him while he was working at the University store, he has since been promoted and moved to a location a little closer to his home. He has always treated me and anyone I have sent his way very well and kindly. I live in Charlotte and still choose to drive all the way to this location because of the trust I have in him.....as of 11-3-20 Jon Buck no longer works there.
I was traveling home to NY and my truck broke down. I had to bring my truck here. Mike was UNBELIEVABLY helpful. He went out of his way to do the best for me.
I needed my car inspection to renew my tag. I stopped by without an appointment and was welcomed by John and Larry in the lobby. They both were efficient, friendly and quick. I was able to walk just next door and have breakfast while the inspection was being done. They actually finished the inspection earlier than they thought. This location is very aware of how important customer service and satisfaction are to their business. Five stars! *****
Customer service is a joke very disrespectful. They don’t care for the customers all about the money.
My new vehicle servicer!!! Thanks yall!
Very friendly service, great price on 4 tires!
Wouldnt allow standard oil change, had to abide by Firestones version of what needed to be in my car (semi-synthetic). Dishonest employees, creating sense of urgency to get you in hurriedly (no wait after being told there were people lining up outside and they would try to work me in). Only positive was a no hassle inspection. Be wary of upselling.
Don’t go they steal! DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLE ITEMS IN CAR WHILE BEING SERVICED. Guy with the man bun took my AirPod pros out from my work truck
Absolutely Excellent Customer Service from four different individuals, store manager, Master Technician that did the work and 2 service agents. They have an excellent management information system with a matching app that is comprehensive for keeping complete records and a current list of discount specials. I found the staff professional, polite, informed and proud of their business and teamwork. A special thanks to Don; and John, Johnathan and Heather... A most excellent experience. Thank you, Ken
Thieves (Bait and Switch). Gave me a quote with $100 off of four tires. Added Roadside and lifetime rotation which totaled over $100.00. When I told them I wanted neither, well, there went the discount. Associate stumbled to explain and said the deal was for $400+ purchase which evidently included stuff I did not ask for. They simply took the liberty of adding it on. Firestone - sometimes one customer is just going to be less profitable than the others. Live with it. Firestone is notorious for this and I have stayed away for years. Moved to NC and thought I would give them another shot. Done for good now. Find a good locally owned shop or the AAA service center on 73.UPDATE: A valve stem was completely loose and had to fix roadside. How a valve stem (High Pressure Clamp in valve type) comes loose is beyond me. Stay away from this Firestone and all others for that matter.
Ive taken vehicles to Firestone for several different types of service, and they have consistently done right for me. I have purchased tires (for the best possible price), had inspections, tire rotations, brake pad service, and alignments. All were done quickly and correctly, the first time. The only thing is that most recently my hood wasnt closed all the way when I left, but it is pretty hard to notice if it is open or not - so thats no big deal.
DON’T DO YOUR NC INSPECTION HERE. Came in for a last minute inspection. They told me I need new tires. I pulled out the state law and showed them that these tires meet them. They kept pointing to things wrong with the tires and insisted I would fail if I didn’t buy new tires. It’s whatever they decide at the end of the day...the law itself really doesn’t matter. And wipers, because those are “unsafe” too. I’ve had bad wipers and good wipers...What the heck is an unsafe wiper? Now I’m spending $350+ for a $30 inspection because they know they have me over a barrel since they’re the only ones around who run this racket on a Sunday. I’ve lived in NC for 5 years and never had to put up with this mess before. I’ll never be back. Using the state to drum up business...shameful.
I often utilize the Mooresville stores services for oil changes, tire purchases, rotations and alignments. Great friendly staff and fair prices. Also, I have found the same service at other Firestone Complete Auto Care locations. Solid company.
Great service. Spent a ton more than I think u needed to but service and customer service veery good.
Road trip. We had car issues. Even on a Sunday. They did a good jobHelping us..
Bought new tires yesterday! Kudos to Larry and gang. Good job. BUTTTT,they charged me $12 labor to put in a brake light bulb. Next time, I am changing it myself and buying ME the steak...
Friendly staff who have you in and out quickly. They have always done a great job for us.
Welcoming atmosphere Quick service I would definitely come back For more service on my vehicle
Reasonable prices excellent Service You are Acknowledge as soon as you walk into the door.
I recently went for NC inspection for one of sedans. After waiting for about 45 minutes, the manager at the front desk said the vehicle passed emission test, however it needs two brake lights, each costing about $16+, and if I dont replace them, the vehicle is going to FAIL the inspection. I was surprised with the finding. I suspected something wrong/fishy. I told him to go ahead and issue FAILED report so I can go and replace the bulbs myself and come back later. He went inside and came back after another 15 minutes and said the vehicle passed the test and gave some vague reason for which I did not pay much attention because I knew he was faking. Anyhow, next time you take your vehicle for inspection anywhere, i suggest you check all the lights yourself, otherwise you can be ripped off.
I have been a customer of Williamson Road Firestone for 12 years. The past manager (Female) made sure your Vehicle was always in top shape. I trade cars every 2 years do to high mileage. I would go for a 7,500 mile service once every couple of months. The place was busy, but you were always in and out within an hour. A couple of years ago a new manager showed up and everything changed. Have to schedule an appointment now and the wait is now 2 hours in a slow empty store.
Everytime I’ve gone here, there seem to be a problem. This most recent time they didn’t schedule me in for the time slot I had called ahead for, so when I got there at 9AM they told me they couldn’t do my alignment till the next day at 3-4PM. The time before they said they couldn’t align my vehicle because it was too out of spec, but another Firestone was able to do it with no problem. Thankfully there are other options out there than this location.
Worst place ever. Never go to Firestone on Williamson Rd. Was quoted for 2 tires at $110.00 each so we dropped the car off and when we went to pick it up my bill was $460. How in the world does a place get by with making these charges without letting you know before hand. Never in my life will I ever go to another Firestone. Ripping off people should be illegal from this place.
Great customer service. Clean facilityAndrew was service advisor and was very professional in explaining details. Very satisfied and recommend highly.Thank you
I would recommend here to everyone. They went above and beyond to help me out with my state inspection. These guys are too notch.
I had two flat tires with 3 kids in the car. I called ahead to about 10 different tire stores, they were the only place open on Sunday that had tires to fit my car within 150 miles of Winterplace, WV. They offered to wait as long as it took for the wrecker to get me there on a Sunday afternoon.I talked to Heather on the phone and she was great. When I got there Larry took over and did everything possible to make us comfortable in a stress full situation and get us back on the road. Could not ask for nicer people or better service.
I have never had a bad experience with this location and team and I am in here often because I have a fleet vehicle! Great all around!
I take all my cars here. Good all around service. General work is their best. Oil, tires, brakes. I get my tires there too. Mechanic Bob is very good.
Very disappointing!I pulled in overheating, after 2 hrs. they handed me an estimate for $1700--- but not to worry, I had the option of sighing up for a Firestone credit card.My husband had me towed out of there and sent to our regular mechanic, who fixed me up for $600.They were very nice, and busy - but I will never darken that door again.
Ran into a guy at Advance Auto Parts - he was picking up parts for his car and I was trying to fix mine. He overheard the trouble I was having and offered some advice. I asked him if he was a mechanic and he said he worked here - I told him I’d bring my car by the next day. Great choice - these guys worked on my car on a problem that I and ty dealership could not solve. They truly care, which I could not say about the local dealership. I’ll bring all my cars here from now on. Head mechanic also fantastic.
Dropped off a very commonly driven vehicle for a tire rotation. The technician working on the vehicle put the staggered 255 tires in the front and 225 in the rear. Obviously they dont care to take the time to even look at the offset rims or tires or do their due diligence when working on vehicles. We had to bring our car back a second time which is was very convenient......the same day and not one apology or any type of compensation for the time spent, possible damage etc. Instead we got a bad attempt at a lousy joke to make up for it. Extremely disappointed and will never be going back to this Firestone or any others for that matter because they obviously dont do their homework/proper training for technicians nor car about standing by their work. it seems like this must happen frequently. Thanks, Former Firestone customer.
The guys here are always professional and treat you like a person and not a dollar sign. The explain issues with you vehicle and the priority in fixing them without being pushy.
Very helpful, keep to schedule, always up-front about issues and diagnoses.
Excellent John is the best.
The Master Service Tech here - Bob - is amazing. I trust him a lot. This store seems to uphold the Firestone values. They are transparent, answer your questions as throughly as they can, and arent quick to overcharge you. Plus, I can trust them. Ive been to other small shops and auto maintenance chains that have overcharged me, ripped me off, and scammed me (because I knew very little about cars). But these guys are honest, friendly, and professional.
Excellent, awesome customer service. Great place to get work done.
Excellent service! Trustworthy group that goes above and beyond to exceed all expectations.
Had my car looked at by professional Nascar Techs, it had nothing wrong. Took it to Firestone to test their loyalty and to see if they were just there to lie and cost a local resident money. Long story short, They tried to tell me i needed to replace my A/C compressor on a 2016 car, along with tires. Are you joking? I laughed so hard when I left, Never go here. They want your money and time, theyre not here to help you, theyre told to sell the customers parts, not repair them.
All employees were very nice and even got me out of there before my quoted time. They also had a few toys for my little one to play with which made the experience go smoother.
Horrible service at this place. Called and made an appointment only to find out when I arrived it would not be honored and I would have to wait an hour and a half at least for my car to be looked at. No remorse or sincere apology from staff. Would not recommend. Save yourself the headache. If I could give no stars I would.
Good tires at good prices they beat every where else I went by about 50 bucks
I have always liked coming here and the people are really nice but when they do work and it’s wrong, they should be responsible for all of it and not part of it !!!!! The manager John is wrong in this situation and they know it. We will not be going back to this firestone. Watch out people because if they mess up your vehicle they will find a way to make you pay for it. 😡😡😡😡😡 They know how to sweet talk their way out. But they really just hurt their sorry business!!Go to Firestone in Hickory. Those people treat you right. They get all my business!!!
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. The mechanics are very thorough, and provide great advice. Two thumbs up!
Came to visit from new york, my girlfriends uncle recommended us to come and get an oil change. Thank you to larry and Justin, super duper nice people. They told us the things that were wrong with the car, came to a conclusions and resolved the problem. You guys rock!!🤘 definatly recommend everyone to come here !!
Does good work. Leave yourself lots of time (hours) if you cant leave the car and have to wait.
Went there on Sunday with two nails in two different tires. I was told one tire needed to be replaced and the studs on the other one was cross threaded and needed to be replaced. Told my car was 4 quarts low on oil which I found funny since that would mean there was no oil yet I drove it there. Fixing tires did not require them going under the hood anyway. They wanted almost $400 to fix two tires. I went to another shop this morning and got the tires fixed for $20 and theres nothing wrong with the studs.I have told all my friends to stay clear of Firestone. Guess they thought a women was dumb and would let them treat me that way. Sorry guys but women know when they are being jerked around. Your loss!😁
Came in for an alignment, took around 30 minutes, they did a great job
Excellent staff and service
Professional service, weve been long time customers and very happy with the job they do
I went to Firestone after a flat tire from a valve stem getting snapped off. They fixed it in no time without an appointment. I really apprecite the customer service.
Great people, great place . Trust them 100%
Does a great job on both my vehicles & prices are good
Excellent service center. They worked with us for an affordable price.
Service was great. Very good employees. Prices good
I sat waiting for one hour and 20 minutes for an oil change and a simple tire leak repair yet no one even looked at my car, yet 3 people came and went with oil changes. Dont waste your time, also overpriced.
Great service. Staff worked well with our fleet vehicle. Very courteous!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! My car was in worse condition after picking it up from the Mooresville Firestone. They completely over priced me for an inspection of a simple brake line fix so I refused their service and they made the leak worse. My brakes did not work anymore at all when I left when they did before I ever went to this place. They are unprofessional and unhelpful. DO NOT visit, trust me.
A great group of people who really cares for their customers.
Service advisors know there craft and techs are very quick.
They get all up in the car n let u know what is wrong with it. I love that about a place of business.
The details of transferring the lifetime alignment was not disclosed at the time of purchasing, even when asking multiple times
Recommended to have your vehicle serviced in the Mooresville area.
Very professional and will not try to rip you off definitely would recommend to everybody!
Absolutely ridiculous people here. They state issues with a car that dont exist without even checking the parts they want to replace and make a quick buck off of.Not to even mention that they charge way too much and anyone that doesnt have knowledge about cars believes them, which is a downright shame. Its honestly misfortunate that they are even in business.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had at a garage. I was visiting Mooresville from Raleigh and my alternator died so I had my Jeep towed in to the store. I got there at 5pm and the person I spoke to (Larry) said that they were closing in an hour and wouldnt be able to look at the car until the morning, which is understandable and fine. I got a call in the morning around 10:08 am telling me that the battery was dead and they had to replace it to test the alternator. I told them that the battery still had a warranty on it through Advance Auto parts and Larry said that he could reach out to them and get a battery through the warranty. He called me back about an hour later (10:54am) saying Advance didnt have the right battery in stock so he would have to charge me for a battery from Firestone. I dont realize why that took so long to figure out, but I said that was fine so they could do the alternator test. After I hung up, I checked on Advances website and they said they did have the correct battery for my car in stock at the Mooresville store. So I was straight up lied to in order to make a sale, not acceptable. I got a call back about an hour and a half later (12:34pm, dont know why it took so long) saying they ran the alternator test and it was dead. They didnt have an alternator in stock so they were going to have to get one sent over which would take about 20 mins and then it would take an hour to install. So I got some lunch and then walked over to the garage around 2 and the Jeep was still sitting outside, it hadnt even been pulled into the garage to be worked on yet! I went inside to ask Larry the reason for the delay and he said that the tech was on lunch and would get started on it right away. He said it would take about an hour and a half (Id heard this before). I came back an hour and a half later and Larry told me that the alternator he had ordered didnt fit my car and he wouldnt be able to get another one until the next day. This was on a Sunday and my three friends and I needed to be back in Raleigh for work the next morning so this was unacceptable. I asked Larry if he had called around to Advance, AutoZone, and OReilly and he said he had. I immediately started calling these stores and within 5 minutes I found the right alternator at an AutoZone that was only 0.8 miles away. I was ready to just swap it out myself but Larry called the store and said he would take care of it, although it would take another hour and a half. I came back an hour and a half later and the car was still being put back together (it wouldnt be ready for another half hour). I went to settle up the bill and asked Larry for a discount because the repair went way over time and I had to basically do his job by calling around and finding the right part. He said he could give me 5% off the battery, which amounted to $7.50. I saw a flyer saying that I could apply for a Firestone credit card and, if approved, I would get either $50 or 5% off my total bill, whichever was greater. I asked Larry about that and he said he was just getting ready to offer it to me (yeah right). I went through the application process, was approved, and then Larry said that actually he wouldnt be able to add the discount because he had already added another discount to my bill. I asked if he could sell me the alternator at cost, because I basically did his job and found it, but he told me that he would lose his job if he did that (probably wouldnt be the worst thing). I was fed up with this and I had a 2.5 hour drive ahead of me back to Raleigh so I just paid and got on the road.
Figured out the problem and fixed it in 2 minutes. Awesome work.
Bought trailer tires. They were extremely knowledgeable and helpful in answering my questions regarding them
Good, quick service at a fair price.
Had an appointment for 12 NoonTold car would be ready at 1:30-1:45Dropped off car went to lunchReturned at 1:20 and they had not even started.sorry we are backed upThen why didnt he tell me that earlier!!
Professional staff nice people willing to help you.
Went in to get a safety & emissions inspection and was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hrs. Almost 2 hours later, I am approached to say my vehicle will be failed if I do not get new windshield wipers b/c mine are streaking but other than that everything is fine. He also informed me I would have an extra $10 charge for my tint and I see on the paper he has 28% written down. I allow them to change the blades and he comes back to tell me my car is going to fail because the tint is lower than the legal limit. At this point, Im beyond frustrated because Ive been there 2.5 hours and I was sold wipers that I didnt need b/c I was going to fail inspection anyways.I asked why wasnt I informed of this at the time that I was told about the wipers and the additional charge for aftermarket. He admitted it was his fault and apologized. However, his apology doesnt pay for these wipers nor give me my time back. Save yourself the trouble and take your car elsewhere.
Great service. But their spares are xostly
