We have a marble top bedroom set that we bought 19 yrs ago. Two of the three pieces of marble were cracked during our move here last Fall. Cutting Edge was able to match the same style, and precisely cut the curved edges (a technician came to measure using a laser tool similar to what you see surveyors using) for replacements. The installation crew was prompt, courteous, and professional. Two thumbs up!
I really liked the people real down to earth, cool crew and I hope they except me as apart of the team.
I cant say enough great things about Cutting Edge Stone! From start to finish of my kitchen island project they were professional, prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond to have my granite measured, cut and installed much faster than I expected. And the quality of their work was exceptional! I highly recommend using Cutting Edge Stone for your granite needs!
Best stone company in the business. We use them for all of our stone work!!
We recently underwent a kitchen remodel project with a local contractor who recommended Cutting Edge for our kitchen and island countertops. Alex and her team were consistently helpful, quick to respond, and always listened to our concerns/questions. We were not only impressed by the office team but the installation team. We recommend them to anyone who needs stone work for their kitchen. We also plan to use them again for a bathroom remodel soon.
Friendly and helpful staff with large variety of samples. Make sure you make an appointment.
We have used Cutting Edge for several years and have always been impressed with their customer service from picking out our slabs to the install. So happy with our latest project, new kitchen quartz countertops and they are beautiful! We are definitely lifelong customers!
I couldn’t be more pleased with Cutting Edge Stoneworks . My entire experience from estimate to installation was a painless, seamless process. The price (they helped me stay focused on budget and find beautiful remnants for my bathroom vanities), selection process and quality of installation were superb. Would highly recommend them without any hesitations.
Very poor job cutting our counter, patterns didnt match at all as promised. I think Stevie Wonder works on their tile/stone saw.
We recently had our countertops replaced by Cutting Edge. We were able to visit the showroom and spent quite some time looking around to find the perfect quartz. The staff was incredibly helpful in allowing us time and space while also giving helpful pointers on choosing the right one. The team spent time mapping our kitchen with cool technology to be precise and the install was quick and easy. Bye bye old grungy counters - hello beautiful quartz!
Very happy we found Cutting Edge Stoneworks . Pleased with our entire experience from our questions to estimate, price, quality installation ect. Definitely recommend them as a great company to work with.
I love my counter tops. From the first time I learned about recycled glass quartz, I wanted them in my kitchen. It is beautiful. CES did a wonderful job. My two bathrooms have the imitation recycled glass quartz and it is perfect for those rooms. We had no issues and would use them again.
Cutting Edge sold and installed Quartz countertop in my Pool House but failed to inform me that quartz will quickly fade in direct sunlight. Within 1-1/2 years, I had to replace it with granite.
We remodeled our kitchen and bathroom and chose Cutting Edge to do our granite work. They did amazing work and were very professional. Will be using them again for our other projects.
Cutting Edge Stoneworks was recommended to us by our contractor and friends and we are absolutely thrilled with our soapstone countertops. The fabrication, including measurements and cutouts, was perfect. The installers arrived on schedule; were very careful in our home; and their work was meticulous. The seams are practically invisible. Before leaving, we were given instruction on maintaining the countertops and our kitchen and the area outside where they worked was so clean that it was like they had not been there. The following morning we were called by the office to make sure that we were happy with everything. Plain and simple, we could not be happier with our experience with Cutting Edge.
BEST IN THE AREA!!! Family owned! Support local! Fabulous job for us, and their customer service is 2nd to none.
We have had 2 projects completed by Mike and crew. We did a remodel on our home and new construction at our office. We are currently looking at another project 5 years later and they are just as good as they have always been. They are a fantastic team and have a great product.
They do a hell of a job on fabrication and the installers are very knowledgeable with the materials. No job to big.... We get in and get out as if we werent there. Best granite shop in Mooresville.
Hands down great place!!!!! My neighbor recommended Cutting Edge to us. From beginning to end every one was completely nice and great!!!!! Even the guys that did the insulation were great!!!!!! I would definitely use this company again!!!!! Thanks again Cutting Edge!!!!!!
Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I picked out my slab for my bathroom and didnt take a picture of it shame on me told the guy it was the wrong color and they wanted to argue with me that is was. I pick out one with blue in it and now I have a ugly green . Not a happy person.
Great, exceptional customer service. While mistakes happen to every company, Cutting Edge corrected everything right away regardless how costly it was.
Great customer service
My under-mount sink was falling out of my granite counter (not originally installed by Cutting Edge). I called Cutting Edge and left a voicemail on Sunday and they sent someone on Monday to fix it. I couldnt ask for better quality service. Thank you for being so prompt and responsive!
Make sure you know who your fabricator is and do NOT pick Cutting Edge! They installed two different colors of quartz for my kitchen countertop!!! At first, Mike the owner was kind to call me back and said they would reinstall it and cover other additional charges associated with reinstallation. I thanked him and asked him to please give me a reinstallation target date soon as its critical for me to coordinate with the other contractors for the remaining kitchen renovation. On the next business day, I called to get an update, but his staff member couldnt give me any information saying that they werent sure if Cosmos had the quartz in inventory. Cosmos indicated they had the inventory but waiting for Cutting Edge to confirm delivery. I waited till late afternoon to call again. Mikes staff confirmed they would receive the quartz the next day, but still couldnt give me any idea on the target reinstallation timeframe or connect me with Mike, so I requested for Mike to call me back. 30 mins later, the same staff member called me back to say they will return my check to my general contractor and tell me to enjoy my free quartz - my defective free quartz!!! Mike wouldnt talk to me and they refused to fix the problem. I was shock! My general contractor was shock!Outside of this terrible mistake and handling of the situation, there were a few other things that I would have overlooked if they would just fix the installation problem.1. They scratched my brand new island in 3 different places during the installation (I took photos of 2 areas). When the second fabricator came to do the reinstallation, they carefully covered and worked around my new cabinets.2. The second fabricator was able to do the reinstallation with 1 seam, but Cutting Edge had 2 seams. I was told that there really wasnt a reason why they should do it with 2 seams unless they used scrap (vs the 2 full slabs I have paid for) and that would explain the color difference.3. Terrible communication! We completed the template a few weeks prior so that we could schedule the installation date on Tues (6/25/2018). As my general contractor tried to follow up, there was no response from them until Tues, and they told him I was the third client installation on Wed - didnt even mention morning or afternoon. Very poor communication or follow up.I actually felt bad for their staff members to be working for a company like this who doesnt care for their customers and their services at all.
So helpful and wonderful people! :)
Mike is great to deal with!
Excellent Craftsmanship
