This U-Haul moving and storage location is phenomenal! Although, there is often time n the front desk nobody’s there, it’s easy to get an access your storage unit as long as you have your key card and code. As I got the store my items inside for keeping everything in condition, their units are very large and spacious and also great for storing furniture.

This is a clean, well vented and very secure establishment. You have to put in a code to get in and out. They include a lock in the price of your storage unit and expect you to use it though no one mentioned it to me upon moving in. There was a note on the I unit saying it was ready for me and the lock was there.The air is always on and theres thermometers displayed in the halls. The unit has a concrete floor and wire mesh over the top so the air can circulate but no one can climb up to access my belongings. I feel safe here and have accessed my belongings several times.You can get cheaper units but I dont believe that this unit was that much more for all you get.Definitely worth the extra expense.

This is the best Uhaul locations Ive ever been to. Very professional and very helpful and polite. Keep up the good work. All other locations needs to train under your location.

We rented a truck for my daughter to move in her new place. Easy online service to rent the truck. It took minutes and we was off. However I told the staff I would be moving furniture up and down a flight of stairs. They gave me a dollie with no straps. Check anything e you may need before you leave so you get the right equipment and no additional charges.

There was a mistake regarding a drop off location that was made by another location. We were going to be charged another $100 or be forced to drive an hour and a half away to drop it off where we picked it up. We were very upset by this and lost our cool with the associate that was working with us. She went above and beyond to fix the issue even after we yelled at her. She even saved us some money during the process. For the life of me, I cant remember her name Highly recommend this location for renting trailers. If she gets to read this review, again we are sorry for yelling at you! We appreciate all your help.

Terrible customer service. When I arrived to pick up my truck there was no one in the office. Eventually a young woman came out of the back lot, handed me my keys and dropped me at my truck telling me to just gas it up and park it outside the fence and drop the keys when I was done. All of which I did. This morning I got my bill for gas (they said it didnt touch the line right???) and a $20 after hours fee for not checking it in on the app when I dropped it off. The person answering the phone this morning informed that the person I picked it up from should have told me about the process which, she never did and I told him a much. He spoke with the manager who didnt care and told me it was non refundable. My $19.95 4 hour rental ended up costing $100. Wish I had read the reviews of this location first. Never again Mooresville U-Haul. Fool me once....

Was given a dirty truck inside and out, over charged for miles I didnt drive (pics to prove start/finish miles) and was told it has 1/2 tank of fuel then when I get it the fuel was only 3/4 and I had to bring back at 1/2 which cost $18 more to do....reached out to customer service and nothing. Wont go here/U-Haul again.

Everybody blocks the gate and its a short entrance from the road. Other than that love the extra storage we have many options in the area for storage

$19.95 is basic rate for 24 hours. You may have to pay more than $50 for most cases, because of hidden charges like per mile charge, gas price etc. Insurance is optional. There is an App for self drop after their office hours. Note down the gas reading correctly, and it would help you to fill exact gas when you return.

Currently sitting on the side of the freeway with the empty trailer we picked up less than an hour ago. We heard a weird noise and looked back to see our tire wobbling like it was going to fall off. We called the location we got the trailer from and they said there was absolutely nothing they could do to come fix the tire or replace the trailer. I can’t believe they would rent out a trailer in this condition, it’s clear that this garbage has not been maintained or cared for for quite some time. Please do not trust these people to care about your safety.

Please don’t rent at this location, customer services was bad. NO HELPS! My wife drop me off at 8:34 am, and I supposed to pick up my rental van at 8:30 am. He lets me stand there for a while, then he told me you are mobile check-in and he told me to run around the back and look for the van. I was unable to find, and I request to help for several time. He still told me you are mobile check-in, so you go out there and find it.After several attempts of retake pictures and can’t find the the van, I finally found a van at 9:30 am, but no key inside . I ran in and out for several attempts for dispatch, and I have an appointment at 10:00 am. I was so upset and walked out this Uhaul location.

This place rented me a broken car dolly that damaged my car. Luckily I bought the insurance, was a lifesaver

Super clean and efficient place. Uhaul itself though doesnt allow nearly enough miles between destinations and know that you WILL be paying for some additional miles.

I dont do business with this establishment. I met someone here who was selling something From her storage unit. However, the place is clean and looked very secure. Some of the units were set up as storefronts. I thought it was a good idea except that to get to your store customers would have to call from the gate and you would have to go to let every customer in. I think that would get old fast. But as a storage place, it seemed like a good one.

BEWARE, YOU CANNOT COUNT ON GETTING THE TRUCK YOU REQUESTED. Two days before my move I got an email that my reservation was changed to a larger truck. When I called to straighten it out they tried to make us drive a distance away to get a truck, then I found out there werent smaller trucks there either. We didnt need or want anything larger and more difficult to maneuver. When we picked up the huge truck they tried to get us to return it in a distant town even though there was a uhaul site less than a mile from our destination. The huge truck was also infested with ants. Do not assume you are all set once you reserve a truck. They take your reservation knowing full well there is a good chance they wont have trucks. They do not move trucks around to accommodate reservations. If you reserve a truck the only way youll actually get it is if someone else happens to return one to that location.

Amazing service, very clean! Steve was very helpful even gave us a ride back to our hotel. He asked every question we had and even held our keys after we accidentally left them in the uhaul. Would recommend this location to anyone that needs a stress free service.

He was very knowledgeable and if he wasnt certain of the answer to a question, he knew where to find the answers.They had the box sizes we needed and specialty boxes that will take some of the stress out of packing.Also, Marshal was kind enough to tell us Uhaul will buy back any boxes we dont use.Thank you, Marshal and Uhaul.

Ok so Im renting a regular pickup truck to take a trailer to Myrtle Beach. Wewill be returning truck in 9 days..We wont be using truck other than the trip there and back....(Also, checked price on smallest box truck) Were being told that we cant do a one way trip with a regular truck, supposedly they are location specific. If this is the case why in the**** is there an Arizona tag I just picked up in NC.....Also, after booking several days in advance, had to drive to a location 15 miles away passing several other closer locations.....got attitude when we asked about a credit for the extra 30 miles, that were not our choice not fault...because once again this truck from Arizona belongs exclusively to an NC location 🤔🤔🤔.... I find this extremely hard to believe....Now, Im mad at myself for giving Uhaul the amount of business and $ that I have the last year....Our box truck, that we only use a few times a year kicked the bucket... Definitely going to be more diligent in finding a replacement. Also, will NOT be using uhaul, for the 500 mile trip we have scheduled, a week after we return from this trip....Paid uhaul $1000+ 5 months ago for the same 500mile trip.... Just saying, Just a little appreciation for repeat customers COULD go a long way.... something tells me that uhaul could probably care less about any of this....

One of the most helpful staff for Uhaul works here. We rented a trailer for a one way haul and the pick up was so efficient. The only problematic issue I saw on this location is tight parking area. Since they share a lot with the business next door I watched people have a hard time manuevering big box trucks in and out of the facility. Other than that I would recommend this location. The shop is well stocked with packaing supplies and they seem to have a good stock of uhaul equipment ready to be rented. Take advantage of the uhaul online reservation and your pick up and drop off will be a breeze. It will also expedite the process for the staff.

Even though I got confirmation email stating “guaranteed truck”, the morning of my moving day I got told that the truck I need was overbooked!!! I had to rent a van and carry everything without the ramp. I do not recommend this place!!!

So normally when I needed a trailer for anything I would use sunbelt at lowes. The last time though sunbelt charged me 52 bucks for a 6 by 10 single axel POS. Decided to give u haul a shot. 38 bucks out the door for a nice 6 by 12 with ramp, dual axel, The u haul in Cornelius helped me secure one In Mooresville NC in minutes,pick up was a snap, Sunbelt lost a client for good. Awesome job UHaul.

Not good. Manager difficult to work with, staff is often rude and slow. Storage costs way too high and a bit inconvenient. Trucks are often out of service or not working properly but still show up available. This should not be your first choice if you can help it.Update: If you have a problem, uhaul will do very little to solve it. I have been on the phone at least 10 times in the last month and they refused to offer a solution or even look into the problems I had. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

This place needs to tell the requirements of returning boxes. I bought tons with the thought I would be able to return unused and get money back. Like they state. But bc I had to fold the box 1/2 to fit in my car they would not return my money. The boxes were still flat never assembled or taped. I think this is ridiculous very unhappy with this place.i have an extra $40 in unused boxes that is just wasted. There is NO 100% money back GUARANTEE!!!

Awful service, I dropped off a uhaul with a trailer they didn’t open the gate for me and made me back out in the busy road with limited vision. On top of that they said return the uhaul with same amount of gas but they said it was short and charged me $12.50 per gallon.

The worst U-Haul experience I have had with them had to pick up the truck 10 miles farther than the place where I made the reservation then they said I had to take it back were I picked it up at but it had a Arizona tag on it & lm in North Carolina then they said they would run my card when I return the truck they ran it before I returned the truck had to run my card again then 2 days later they said I owe more money would not recommend you to use them if you dont have to

I would describe the experience as terrible. I called to ask about renting a hand truck and was placed on hold. I waited several minutes and finally just hung up. I called back later, thinking that perhaps Saturday morning was just a bad time to call, and couldnt get anyone on the phone.I guess no one actually works there, so if you need to speak with a human, go somewhere else.

Wanted to rent a storage unit again. I asked were the previous manages were, was told they were no longer their. Gave me the cost for a monthly rental for a unit, but never told me about the required insurance I had to provide. It seems they want you to insurance your stuff so they will not have to. Poor service, rude people, and do not care about the customer.
